UFOs Over Fox News

| In 2017, at the end of 2017, the New York Times broke the story of the Tic-Tac UFO that we've all seen the video now that was seen by the F-18 pilots from the USS Nimitz back in 2004. | |
| And so this has become a mainstream topic. | |
| You see it on Fox News and you see it on all the cable news channels. | |
| It's no longer considered woo to discuss. | |
| But the church needs to address this because as we put it in the beginning of our book, The Day the Earth Stands Still, When you look at what Americans believe, even American Christians, 37% of American adults believe that we're being visited by extraterrestrials and 75% believe there's some evidence that maybe we've been visited. | |
| So more than a third of American adults believe firmly that we're being visited by extraterrestrials. | |
| But when you look at what Americans believe about God and the Bible, according to George Barna, only 9% of American adults have a biblical worldview. | |
| Only 17% of people who identify as born-again Christians have a biblical worldview. | |
| So this is not a fringe topic anymore. | |
| UFOs, UAPs, whatever you want to call them, this is not fringe anymore because there are more people who believe that E.T. is phoning home from a local area code than who believe in the God of the Bible. | |
| There are more of them than there are of you. | |
| That is right. | |
| That is so. | |
| And so we need to address that. | |
| That's crazy. | |
| It is. | |
| It sounds crazy. | |
| But that is on us because we are responsible for training up our children in the way they should be. | |
| Before I get any further, if you want to see something, probably the most complete work on UFOs in relationship to us today that's ever been made. | |
| It's two-hour long video. | |
| It has who holds it. | |
| That's right. | |

| These are all commentators who commentate on what is taking place and what's happening. | |

| That's right. | |

| You say it's like 10 years of production. | |

Friendly Ruined New Age

| Yeah, because when I was growing up, I was interested in the topic of UFOs. | |
| What are they? | |
| Does this fit in with the Bible somehow? | |
| And the answer that I was given time and time again was, well, they're demonic. | |
| Now, that may be true, but that's not good enough of an answer for my curiosity. | |
| And I imagine I'm not alone in that. | |
| So after a while, I ended up falling away from the church, and I got into New Age because the church wasn't talking about UFOs and all these other things that I was interested in as well. | |
| But these New Agers were, and they seemed welcoming, and they were friendly. | |
| And I about ruined my life getting into that stuff. | |
| So, you know, no longer in New Age now, that's a whole different story. | |
| But that's the kind of thing that happens. | |
| A lot of people don't get out of that stuff. | |
| They don't get out of New Age. | |
| They stay in it, and they were formerly Christians. | |
