Soul Ties and Deliverance

| In your book, Prophetic Spiritual Warfare, you said the devil will use our past. | |
| You know what I mean? | |
| Has anybody here ever sinned? | |
| I'm raised if you ever sinned. | |
| Well, the rest of you are mentally ill or sick or you're lying. | |
| Because all have sinned. | |
| Yes, that's right. | |
| And when you go through, the devil's going to, I could write a book about my sin. | |
| I could tell you every sin I ever committed. | |
| The devil reminds me of it. | |
| I said, oh, devil, it's under the blood of Jesus Christ. | |
| It's very inefficient never to be remembered against me. | |
| Amen. | |
| But the devil will use your past. | |
| Generational curses. | |
| Yes. | |
| And soul ties. | |
| Some of you folks that have, you've had relationship with hundreds of people in this day and age, people just, they call it free love, but it's just almost animalistic what goes on out in society now. | |
| And that's soul ties. | |
| Soul ties gain a foothold in your lives. | |
| Can you talk a little bit about that and help people today? | |
| I've got to go faster, but this is really good. | |
| I think we need to talk about this right now because so many people have soul ties. | |
| Maybe you've never dealt with it before. | |
| It's time to deal with it in this end time that we are living in. | |
| When some people get the devil, I should say, keeps reminding you of your past. | |
| He's a liar. | |
| That's right. | |
| Your past is under the blood. | |
| And I mean, I have a lot of time in sleeping and dreaming. | |
| And the enemy tries to take a hold of my mind. | |
| And I end up have to be in prayer all the time. | |
| I'm asking God to help me every day. | |
| I'm asking God to overcome. | |
| Well, here's what Kathy says in her book, Prophetic Spiritual Warfare, Partnering with the Holy Spirit to Manifest Your Destiny. | |

| Soul ties are demonic spirits that we inherit from people we are in relationship with, including relatives, friends, co-workers, and ministry leaders. | |
| Soul ties infiltrate our souls when we spend time around people who are impure, emotionally unhealthy, or in need of deliverance from evil spirits. | |
| That is true. | |
| That is so good. | |
| To receive deliverance from soul ties. | |
| But see, what we've done is we've gotten complacent and passive. | |
| We sit there in victim and defeat, and we don't acknowledge that. | |
| We don't want to press through to our breakthrough. | |
| We don't want to put in the time. | |
| That's right. | |
| And that's what we have to do. | |
| Put in the time. | |
| For an example. | |
| You've got to put in the work, don't you, Kathy? | |
| You got to do that. | |
| So you got to get into that throne room, and it's work, just like our natural job is work. | |
| And I remember one time, I've never really suffered with rejection. | |
| And then all of a sudden, I started feeling rejected again. | |
| And I'm like, where's this rejection coming from? | |
| I never really struggled with it. | |
| And then I looked at it, and I had a best friend who rejection was her strongman. | |

Rejection's Deception

| And I'm like, okay, well, now that rejection is coming into me. | |
| Okay, now, let me back you up. | |
| Hold on. | |
| What do you mean by strong man? | |
| If someone's listening for the first time and they don't really understand that? | |
| It's what we struggle with, what plagues our mind. | |
| You can name your own stronghold or strongman. | |
| So I tell people, what are the greatest three things holding you back from the fullness of God? | |
| Maybe it's fear. | |
| Maybe it's anger. | |
| Maybe it's pornography. | |
| Those can be strongholds and strong men in your life. | |
| Strongholds are emotional ailments, like rejection. | |
| Like rejection. | |
| But when we don't deal with rejection for 20 years, because we just sweep it under the rug, it becomes a strong man. | |
| That emotional ailment can become an area where the demonic realm can infiltrate your soul. | |
| And then we have more than a stronghold. | |
| We're dealing with something that works of the flesh, but also something in the spiritual realm that we need to annihilate. | |
| And that's where Jesus went and cast out demons. | |
| He didn't say, get off or leave me alone. | |
| Jesus cast out demons. | |
| That's good. | |
| And so we have to look at that. | |
| So you are going through that. | |
| You never had reason. | |
| I never had rejection. | |
| I didn't know rejection. | |
| And then all of a sudden I would feel this, this fleeting thought. | |
| You see, rejection is a lie that we're believing. | |
| That's what it is. | |
| Rejection is a lie that we are believing. | |
| And so I started thinking about this and that. | |
| And I'm like, okay, this isn't me. | |
| This isn't who I am. | |
| I totally know. | |
| And then I look at it and I'm like, this was my friend. | |
| And so I could see that when you hang around someone, sometimes we know we become like them, whether good or bad. | |
| That's right. | |
| You know, that's right. | |
| And stuff. | |
