| What's going on in the Middle East right now is as we see this unbelievable terrorism, really, to the people. | |
| Yeah, I mean, I think that when you look at God's prophetic clock, one of the things that we see is that I think Amos 9.11 makes it clear that in that day the plowman will overtake the reaper. | |
| Part of how I understand that passage, the idea of plowing and reaping taking place simultaneously, is that the closer we come to the end, there is an acceleration of world events and a proliferation of knowledge in history. | |
| It's kind of like the old cassette tapes. | |
| When you rewind them, the closer you get to the end, the faster they speed up. | |
| And I think we see these events speeding up in the world. | |
| And it's really clear that the time of the Messiah's return is being hastened. | |
| And I think as we look at what's going on in Afghanistan and throughout the Middle East, it's clear that the enemy has an agenda to wipe out the gospel from the Middle East. | |
| And we have to stand for the Lord, and we have to stand in prayer and do what we can to help our brothers and sisters and make sure the gospel continues to go forward. | |
