Soul Ties And Unseen Warfare

| In your book, you talk about unseen warfare. | |
| And in fact, that's the title of one of your books. | |
| The one we offered when you were on with us, Hakeem, last time about unseen warfare. | |
| And you talk about the soul ties. | |
| Could you elaborate a little bit more? | |
| Yeah, I look at soul ties as this is the illustration that God gave me about soul ties when they're illegal or illicit soul ties. | |
| There are covenants that God wants us to be in relationship, just like we're establishing an illegal soul tie. | |
| Marriage is considered a legal soul tie, but there's illegal, illicit. | |
| It's biblical. | |
| You won't see the word soul tie in the Bible, but the function is in there. | |
| Even with Jonathan and David, it was a legal soul tie. | |
| And so soul ties, I believe God gave me an illustration. | |
| It's like if you're in an illegal soul tie or illicit soul tie, it's like a puppet. | |
| You're on a string. | |
| So true. | |
| And so any relationship that is not by God, demonstrated by God, then because you're knitted by the soul, it takes two to come into agreement, Mondo, when it comes to a soul tie. | |
| And so if that relationship is toxic or unhealthy, then that person can control your emotions, your mind based off of that relationship. | |
| And so God, and so there's also a term in the world. | |
| They always say no strings attached. | |
| Exactly. | |
| So they understand about strings or they understand about attachment. | |
| And so we get caught up in entanglements that are not of God. | |
| That's right. | |
| And so this is a season where we need the word of God and discernment to cut those cords and to cut those strings and those illegal attachments that are causing our relationships from really not being productive to where God wants us to be. | |
| And so I believe that soul ties are of God, but then the enemy wants to pervert it. | |
| So I believe that we need to get equipped with this book, Unseen Warfare, to learn the strategies. | |
| And we can detox ourselves from things like that, as well as understanding the symptoms that come with soul ties. | |
| So there's soul size symptoms as well. | |
| Oh, man. | |
| We could just preach on that all day right there and go through each one of our own testimonies, I'm sure. | |
