Logistical Supply Essential
00:02:22
|
|
| Colonel, the last session of the conference was about prepping for the end times. | |
| You said in that session that you cannot win a war without the three B's. | |
| Will you explain that for us? | |
| Yeah, when you go to war, you don't go to a general officer and say, sir, we're going to go in war, but we're not going to go prepared. | |
| We're not going to take our logistics, our three B's, beads, bullets, and bandages. | |
| Hey, when we go to war, we go fully prepared or we're going to lose. | |
| You cannot win a war without logistical supply because in the Christian life, it's the same thing. | |
| We're not just spirits, we're bodies, and God made us so. | |
| We need water. | |
| We need food. | |
| We need shelter. | |
| And so it's extremely important for disaster preparedness. | |
| If anything, get your supplies together. | |
| And in our book, we list a long chapter of many things that are needed for survival. | |
| You need water. | |
| You need food. | |
| You need shelter. | |
| You need other, you know, other people. | |
| You need to communicate. | |
| There's so many things I could talk about in preparedness that we need to be about. | |
| If you can't talk to somebody, if you can't network with somebody, if you don't have food, if you don't have shelter, you don't have water, you're not going to survive these end times. | |
| And God has given us a brain. | |
| He's given us wisdom. | |
| He sent Joseph ahead of Israel to prepare Egypt for the famine coming. | |
| So it's prudence. | |
| It's preparation. | |
| It's practical. | |
| And so I love what you're doing on your show to help people get to the next level. | |
| And that's what we want to be about as well. | |
| Yeah, when people laugh at preppers, that's Satan. | |
| Yeah, that's the devil. | |
| He's going to laugh when you're starving to death and your children are dying. | |
| That's right. | |
| And we always are in the prepping mode here at Morning Sign. | |
| Colonel, you gave an example during one session of what happens when you become complacent. | |
|
Battle Ready Mindset

|
|
| Let's watch this clip and then talk about it, would you? | |
| Have you ever had a time in your life where you woke up and things were different in your life? | |
| You faced obstacles, you didn't know what to do with? | |
| Well, that morning, I thought everything was the same. | |
| I'm running the perimeter of, however, there's a change. | |
| And the change is this. | |
| There was not anybody out there but me running that morning. | |
| That should have been my first clue that something was wrong. | |
| And it almost cost me my life. | |
| I'm running out there. | |
| It was, we say, O Dark 30, and our battalion S1, our personnel assistant captain, comes running to me. | |
| And he's a Hispanic guy, very dark brown. | |
| Well, that morning, his face was white. | |
| And he yelled to me, he says, chaplain, get out of here. | |
| And as soon as he said that, a bullet flew right over my head and hit the palm tree and the birds flew out. | |
| He said, there's a sniper in that minaret over there and he's shooting at you. | |
| Get out of here. | |
| And the same time, two H1 Cobras came over the wall, Marine helicopters, and lit that thing up and killed everybody in there. | |
| Ladies and gentlemen, I thought I was battle ready, but that morning I was not battle ready because I was complacent. | |
| I got complacent in my routine. | |
| I thought everything was okay. | |
| But then I realized afterward, after they shot at me, and after I contemplated my life could have ended, it was only the Lord that protected me because God had something else for me. | |
| He wanted me to be here with you tonight. | |
| I was complacent. | |
| And I'm going to tell you something. | |
| You're going to hear this a lot. | |
| Complacency will kill you. | |
| The church is complacent in America up to this point. | |
| And Satan is winning the battle in many of the fronts. | |
| That morning, I was not battle ready. | |
| But I will tell you that. | |
| I'll tell you what. | |
| After that morning, everything changed in my life. | |
| And I thought from then on, I'm not taking any more chances. | |
| I'm not going to be complacent. | |
| I'm going to think about where I am, what I'm doing, and what is about to happen throughout every day of combat until I came home. | |
| And that's where we need to be right now. | |
