Born in Sin 00:02:07
Bobby, would you just lead them and help them understand how to know him?
I sure will.
That'll be a delight.
The Bible says all of us are born in sin.
The Bible said we're born in sin.
And the Bible said the wages of sin is death.
That doesn't mean we just die and be put in a coffin.
It's far deeper than that.
It means eternal separation from God.
That's what sin does.
All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
That's what the Bible says.
All of us have.
It doesn't matter about who we are.
All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
And the wages of sin is death.
That means we were separated from God in a horrible place called hell for all eternity.
God doesn't want that.
God does not want people to perish and go to hell.
God would have all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of Christ.
God is not willing that any should perish, but all should come to repentance.
And here you say, Bobby, I don't know how.
Here it is.
Number one, you recognize your loss.
Recognize your way is not the right way, that you need a savior.
You can't save yourself.
And that's where Jesus came in.
Jesus Christ came and paid the debt for our sin by dying for us up on the cross.
The Bible said we're not redeemed.
We're not saved with corruptible things like silver and gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, Jesus paid the price for our sins.
And here's what it says.
If you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Christ from the dead, he will come into you.
Ask him to save you and he'll save you.
All that come to him, he'll in no wise cast out.
I am so excited to tell you that when you repent and ask Jesus to come into your heart, he'll save you.
He'll write your name in the Lamb's book of life and he'll put his spirit in your heart.
And then he's got a purpose and a plan for you for the whole rest of your life.
And he'll be a friend that'll stick closer than the brother.
I tell you, Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.
And he stands ready to step into your heart.
So don't say, well, it's too complicated.
No.
He said, you tell people, if they've got enough sense to get back to their house, they have enough sense to get saved.
And so I pray that you will open your heart to Christ and ask him to come in and then begin to live your life for him.
