Word of the Lord: Reset 00:05:06
You said that 2020 was a year of reset.
What did you mean?
What lessons did you learn in 2020?
You know, the word of the Lord for this season is like a reset.
And, you know, we started this with last year.
And, but, you know, words are not like just for a year, it's they're for a season.
And so the one thing that God told the Apostolic Council of Prophetic Elders in this reset was that everything was going to change.
Now, we didn't know how much it was going to change, but everything would change.
And, you know, so let me give you an illustration to understand this reset moment.
If my phone is not working correctly, I reset it.
So when you reset it, what happens?
It goes dark.
It goes dark.
And so, you know, when I turn off my phone, if I didn't know I could turn it back on, I would just see, you know, a blank screen.
And I would think, oh, nothing's ever going to be right again.
But no, the Lord is going to bring us into a season and the reset.
And let me tell you, as he sets things right, just like when your phone isn't working correctly and you reset it, he is resetting your life.
Let me give you a few examples.
Number one is in the area of restitution and rep and the restoration.
Restoration is when Satan has hurt our lives.
Like in 2020, people lost jobs.
Maybe you had sorrow, grief, maybe you were sick, you know, just a lot of things happening, right?
You know, and so, but in this time, this coming season, God wants to give you restoration, restoration for what you've lost, comfort, and various things like that.
The other word that I have is restitution.
Now, we don't often understand restitution, but restitution is when not only we get have a restoration, but God gives us more because we had the loss.
Yeah, it's exponential.
It's exponential.
Biblical restoration is exponential.
Yeah, and restitution.
Proverbs 6:30 and 31 says, People do not despise a thief if he steals to satisfy himself when he's starving.
Yet, when he is found, he must restore sevenfold.
He may have to give up all the substance of his house.
And so, what we can understand, and you need to be active in this, is that we need to call back what Satan has robbed from us.
And we need to say, Satan, in the name of Jesus, you're going to have to give seven times back.
If you lost salary, say, okay, figure out what would seven times of that be, you know, seven times, like signs, seven.
And so, God's going to do that for you.
Listen, it's been a rough, rough time, but God sees and God loves you.
You know, and even though it's hard, we need to learn, we've got to be active in our prayer life.
If you just are passive and you just say, Well, you know, these things happen and nothing's ever going to change, what's going to happen is you're not going to receive what you can receive.
So, we need to claim the promises of God.
I mean, this year, clearly, God is saying to us, we have to stand on the promises, right?
Otherwise, Satan will neutralize you.
And how does he neutralize you?
In this season, he wants to silence your voice.
Yeah, he doesn't want you speaking for the words that God says about you and the promises that God has made for you.
He wants to silence your voice.
And that's like when the screen goes dark and it will stay dark.
It will stay dark unless you start to take positive action and begin to utilize the word of God to change the situation.
Yeah, so I just encourage you to make a list of things you have lost.
Now, I know it might be in a family member or something, but you can believe that in your generations, God will give a legacy to other family members or to yourself.
Let me give you a, for instance of that.
My dad died when he was 49.
And when he died, the only sermon in his Bible was on revival.
And Psalms 85, 6 was marked with a ribbon there in that passage.
And, you know, it says, will you not revive us again?
Well, you know, Mike, you know, daddy died young.
Yeah, he did.
Yeah, and he was such a preacher.
But he didn't get to see revival, but I've seen revival.
I mean, even Mike and I, God gave it double because we've seen revival.
Wish For Revivalists' Stories 00:00:37
And we've been able to see it all over the world.
Yeah, yeah.
Argentina, Colombia, Brazil.
And God's doing that again.
And now we're seeing it in America.
It's so exciting.
I wish, you know, maybe Jim in the future can have a bunch of revivalists together and they can just tell these stories of the exciting things.
Daniel Kalinda and the sin and Michael Kuleanis and Jamie Galloway, all these young revivalists, they're just doing the most great things and Todd Wyatt, our friend.
