Rising Extremism
00:04:27
|
|
| America has never been more divided in our lifetime than it is right now. | |
| Why is that significant? | |
| And what does this lead to? | |
| What lies ahead? | |
| Well, here's something also that we can get a revelation out of history. | |
| In the late 19th century, early 20th century, there began rising up in Russia, it was under the Tsar, radical political groups, socialists, Bolshevik, communists. | |
| And as the Tsar's government began to lose authority, the culture became more extreme. | |
| The extremist groups began rising, and they ultimately took over. | |
| And that's where you have communism. | |
| That's the beginning of communism taking over a country and then all sorts of countries. | |
| It began the Soviet Union, but it began with that, with this division. | |
| In Germany, after World War I, it was a democracy. | |
| It was called the Weimar Republic. | |
| It was extremely democratic. | |
| I mean, it's known for that. | |
| Yet out of that, extremist groups began rising to the right and to the left. | |
| To the left, you had the communists. | |
| To the right, you had nationalist groups. | |
| And they were fighting on the streets. | |
| There were riots in the streets. | |
| Finally, one right, with all the chaos, one group prevailed. | |
| And that was the National Socialist Party, or another name is known to us as the Nazis under Adolf Hitler. | |
| Each situation of division led to totalitarianism, either from the extreme left or the extreme right. | |
| So the rise of extremist parties and the division of America is a sign of a danger that the society is disintegrating. | |
| When the middle disappears, when the middle ground disappears, that's holding common ground, when the common ground starts disappearing, that's when an extremist rise. | |
| It's a sign America is divided as never before. | |
| And we are watching, we've had a year of left-wing riots across the nation, calls for socialism, call for Marxism, destruction of the nuclear family. | |
| But it's not only the left. | |
| We've also seen the rise of right-wing extremists, alt-right groups, neo-Nazi groups. | |
| And so this is a sign that America, the center of America is disappearing. | |
| And that is that, and when you see, for instance, what do we see this year? | |
| We saw left-wing groups pulling down statues of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, as if they were enemies of the people. | |
| I mean, it was not by a foreign army. | |
| It was Americans. | |
| Now, these are part of foundations that are common ground that have always been common ground that hold America together. | |
| But now that common ground is being destroyed. | |
| It's as if America was turning against its own foundation. | |
| But notice something also. | |
| When the right-wing riot took over the capital, they vandalized the capital. | |
| They put a plastic bag over the statue of one of Americans' presidents and smeared blood over it. | |
| This is what holds America together in the natural is being broken apart. | |
| And so now we're watching it. | |
| And so the difference, though, between the two sides is the left-wing extremism is supported by the media and now by corporate culture and by mainstream culture. | |
| And so now they have taken, they have risen to take control of the government. | |
| So where does this lead to? | |
| You rightly asked, where does it lead to? | |
| Well, when these things happen, there are two realms, two routes it goes. | |
| One is disintegration, and that is where continual civil disorder, violence, breakdown, disintegration. | |
| And the other or the other is reintegration, where a government culture solidifies a crackdown on dissent. | |
| And it's a form of totalitarianism. | |
| In the case of America, it's veiled totalitarianism, but it's happening. | |
| You know, there have been people who came from the communist countries and are in America now, and they are scared because they're saying we are seeing the same signs, the same spirit, the same slogans, the same talk, the same policies that we saw under communism or leading up to communism. | |
|
A Dangerous Time Ahead

|
|
| And so, you know, that's the other danger. | |
| And which is worse? | |
| I mean, disintegration and division or this? | |
| You know, and you know, children can be brainwashed, you know, and dissented voices, you know, can be can be clamped down on. | |
| And so, either way, no matter whether it's increased disintegration or it's this attempt of totalitarianism, either way, it's a danger. | |
| And either way, the democratic controlled government will likely pass laws, I mean, they'll definitely will, that'll move America farther and farther away from God, laws that will come down against believers. | |
| And so, we are watching a dangerous, dangerous time. | |
| And this is not even yet. | |
| I mean, we'll get there, but to speak of judgment. | |
| And of course, a lot of this depends on God's people and how we stand and our prayers, our praying for revival. | |
| And don't give up for that because that remains the answer with all these things. | |
| But one other point about this: why is there such a rise of extreme political extremism? | |
| People like doing this as if it was their religion. | |
| I mean, irrational. | |
| I mean, just accepting all these things. | |
| Well, in recent years, we've been watching a falling away in America from God, from faith. | |
| You know, from that. | |
| So, well, if you do that, it's going to be replaced by other religions. | |
| And those religions will not always call themselves religion. | |
| It might be a political ideology. | |
| But when this happens, this is what happened in Germany. | |
| This is what happened in Russia. | |
| Is as political, as people were falling away from faith, they took up these other things. | |
| It becomes a new religion. | |
| And you can see it on the left. | |
| You can see it in some cases on the right as well. | |
| If you drive out light, darkness is coming in. | |
| So that is what we are witnessing right now. | |
