Will of God in Elections
00:03:26
|
|
| Why did you write in your book what will happen if Trump is not re-elected? | |
| You write this in your newest book. | |
| Yeah, and I wrote that, Jim, because people, you know, I think our Christian, our charismatic community and Pentecostal community, I was friends with Kim Clement, great, great prophet friend of mine. | |
| And what happened is Christians just want to know, well, what is the Lord telling? | |
| They almost want a gumball machine, Pez Dispenser prophecy. | |
| Is Trump going to be re-elected? | |
| Is Trump going to be re-elected? | |
| And I would be annoyed by that because for me, I never felt like I knew that Trump was going to be re-elected. | |
| What I knew was God gave us Trump and that if Donald Trump was re-elected, it would be an extension of grace and peace. | |
| So I felt the will of God was for him to be in office. | |
| But I also know that I know enough Bible to know that, and this goes down, I said this once in your program, and somebody who's an experienced Christian said, I can't believe you said that. | |
| But I'll say it again. | |
| God isn't willing that any man should perish, but people go to hell. | |
| God isn't willing for the devil to destroy your family, but the devil gets into families. | |
| The truth is, if you're not vigilant and you are not focused and you are not fully invested, God doesn't always get you what he wants to give you unless you show up. | |
| So I believe that in the political arena, there are times, not all the time, but this was an election where like the Apostle Paul is saying, sirs, I perceive this voyage will be with loss of cargo and possibly our own lives. | |
| This ship isn't going to make it. | |
| Stay in the arrangement you're in now. | |
| Don't change it. | |
| Stay in port. | |
| And they overruled Paul. | |
| And when they overruled Paul, the captain, the owner of the ship, and the centurion took off. | |
| He was stuck on board their bad choice. | |
| And what it shows us is sometimes you can see the future. | |
| You can tell people you can see the will of God and people don't go with the will of God. | |
| And you end up in their bad choices. | |
| But remember, we're on board the ship of state. | |
| We're on board the ship called the United States. | |
| And Jim, what I was writing was, if Trump isn't reelected, if Christians don't show up in the country, if we float on, well, I heard prophecies, he's going to be having two terms. | |
| If we are superficial in our engagement, then what will happen is the left will take power and immediately persecution will intensify against Christians because Christians don't realize that the left is no longer a political ideology. | |
| It is a false religion. | |
| It's a fake awakening. | |
| That's what being woke is. | |
| It's a counterfeit awakening. | |
| And you can't live in their world as a blasphemer and a heretic because they'll punish you for your blasphemy to their civic religion. | |
| That's what I wrote. | |
| But I also knew the whole time that if things went that way, I was nurturing the realization that it would be that God would still get his way in what he wants for the church in America. | |
| But it wasn't going to come because we manipulated him into answering our prayer the way we wanted it with an election. | |
|
America's Refinement
00:00:37
|
|
| He's going to get his way his way. | |
| And it's going to be by the church maturing to possess the gates of culture to the degree that it has ability to. | |
| And America will be downsized in the world. | |
| It'll be downsized economically. | |
| It'll be downsized militarily. | |
| There's a price we pay for the collapse of that greatness. | |
| But it isn't the destruction of America. | |
| It's the refinement of America into a vessel that will fulfill God's end time purpose for America, which is to be an innovative, liberating force for the nations. | |
| We are the hope of freedom in the world. | |
