Towers of Greatness

|
|
| What is the mystery of the tower? | |
| Yeah, yeah, Lord. | |
| These are the solid signs of God that have to do from the Bible of the judgment of a nation. | |
| It's amazing. | |
| The tower, well, a tower in Hebrew, the word is Migdal. | |
| It comes from the root word Gadal, which means greatness, you know, big, large, you know, it also means pride, by the way, gadal. | |
| So, so the ancient civilizations, you know, in the ancient world, they built towers to show how great they were. | |
| Tower of Babel, you know, it would be again a symbol of the kingdom itself. | |
| And so, there's a connection between you know, towers and greatness. | |
| And it's interesting because America has, you know, as America rose to great power, to you know, global power, is the same time when it started building the greatest towers in the world. | |
| You know, the Empire State Building that represented it at the same time that America, you know, skyrocketed to world power. | |
| And then it built the World Trade Center, which was actually at a time when America now was going away from God. | |
| So now it's building a tower, but it's going away from God at the same time. | |
| And so, in the Bible, towers are linked not only to pride or greatness or pride, but it's also linked to they're also linked to judgment. | |
| When you know, the prophet Isaiah said, The day of the Lord shall come when everything that's proud and lofty and lifted up shall be brought low. | |
| It says, It says, that which goes up, it says, Judgment will come upon every high tower. | |
| High tower. | |
| It's again and again in the Bible. | |
| They shall throw down your high places. | |
| You know, in the nations, in the day of the nation's judgment, its pride is thrown down. | |
| This is again and again in the Bible. | |
| So it says it will be, one prophet says, it says the day of the Lord will be like a day of alarm trumpets against the high tower, or it's it will be a day when the towers of the nation fall. | |
| So what happens on 9/11? | |
| We spoke about the sign of the gate, the beginning. | |
| Now we have the sign of the tower, the tower representing America's great towering preeminence of the world. | |
| The world comes crashing down. | |
| Well, this is in the Bible again and again and again and again. | |
| New York City is known for its towers. | |
| You know, here we spoke about the gate, but you know what they did at the gate? | |
| They had to strengthen the gate. | |
| So what did they do in ancient times? | |
| They would put a tower at the gate and on one side and another tower on the other side. | |
| So there'd be two towers and they would be identical. | |
| They would be twin towers at the gate. | |
| And when the enemy came, when the day of judgment came, the enemy would attack the twin towers at the gate. | |
| New York City, we saw, is the gate of America. | |
| What was at the gate of America? | |
| The twin towers, as in ancient times, in ancient judgment. | |
| What did the enemy attack? | |
| The twin towers, as in ancient times. | |
| So what is the warning of the message of the towers? | |
| The tower is the fall of the towers, as in the Bible, God is saying this, is saying, listen, you know, I built you up. | |
| America became this great tower of a kingdom, of a civilization. | |
| But the Lord is saying you can only do that with God. | |
| If you turn away from God, you turn away from the foundation on which you stand, that tower will come crumbling down. | |
| The whole thing of 9-11 was actually not only was it an event and a tragedy, but at the same time, it was also a foreshadow of what will come. | |
