God's Gifts Are Grenades

| Can you explain really quick about the being weaponized by heaven? | |
| I love the church. | |
| I'm passionately in love with the church and I love the word of God. | |
| But I feel that as the church, at best, if we're kind of nice to ourselves, we've been an underperforming church. | |
| At best, we're underperforming. | |
| Maybe at worst, we've been outside of the best practices of scripture. | |
| But actually, in all of that, I feel that there has become an impotence and a passivity. | |
| And that God is saying, look, I have put gifts in your hand. | |
| And these gifts are grenades. | |
| They are weapons of warfare because I did not make you as passive, impotent people. | |
| I made you with a solution in your hand for the liberation of nations, for the liberation of people. | |
| And when God chooses, you know, in Jeremiah to say things like, is not my word like fire or a hammer that breaks the rocks to pieces? | |
| In essence, God is saying, look, I've not given you something where you just go, they are, they are cotton candy, fluffy clouds, you know, pretty flowers. | |
| You know, God says, I've not given you that as your revelation. | |
| I've given you words that are hammer and fire that actually will shatter the chains of bondage and bring freedom to the many. | |
| And so I think we thought too much about, oh, I'm a little son, I'm a little daughter. | |
| As powerful as that revelation is to be a son or daughter, it is not the fullness of scripture. | |
| And God says, no, no, no, no. | |
| I bought you with my blood that you and I might be a co-laborer. | |
| And I think that is the revelation that God has even in these crises in America right now. | |
| You are a co-laborer. | |
| You are weaponized by heaven to bring a solution where you are. | |
| And God has gifted you prophecy, faith, healing, miracles from the most powerful place in all of the heavens and the earth realms, the throne of God himself, where from that place he looks at you and he cascades from his garments these weapons, these gifts, these abilities. | |

| And Laurie, I think we kind of are a bit like, well, you know, gifts are optional extras and it's nice if we break through and it's nice if we do something good. | |
