Defending Religious Freedom

| You know, I know many of you you watch every single day, but there might be some of you who are new to the broadcast. | |
| You know, and so I just want to quickly, quickly just share with you, you know, because I believe that as we set forth this foundation, you know, I love how God ordains the ministers, the prophets, the teachers for the times that you need it the most. | |
| And I believe that our guest today, that God has ordained this show, he has ordained for Pastor Robert Henderson to join us today because he is going to release in us and show us the path and to see the light at the end of the tunnel. | |
| But I just want to say quickly, you know, our ministry on February 12th, we had an amazing guest, a great friend of our ministry, great doctor, naturopathic doctor, who was on the broadcast. | |
| And from that show, from that one day, that one broadcast, great attack has hit this ministry, you know, and the media, just the smear campaign of the media attacked this ministry to say that we were offering the product Silver Solution as a product that would cure COVID-19. | |
| And see, you see it, you watch it. | |
| Those statements, those allegations have been proven to not be true. | |
| They are not true. | |
| If you watch it and you hear it, you can see that there is a level of deception that has come against this ministry. | |
| And in the past few months, we have received demands from state and government officials for information concerning our ministry and our partners, including information that we believe, we believe the information that we have on our partners is both private and religiously sacred. | |
| They are demanding, demanding from us to receive information on our partners, information about the church's communication, our communications that we've had through via email or whether you call on the 800 number. | |
| They are demanding the church's communications with our partners right now. | |
| They're trying to use man's laws to test secular value of religious sermons and prophecies. | |
| We have been diligently fighting state officials' demands. | |
| And last week, we took another important step in that battle. | |
| Our legal team advised us, and our board of directors advised as well with our legal team together on behalf of the Jim Baker show and Pastor Jim. | |
| Our legal team filed a federal lawsuit here in the state of Missouri. | |
| And we are trying to block efforts by certain liberal, and I believe they're anti-Christian officials from out of state that seek to force us to turn over the private information of our partners that deals with their relationship to the church and to God. | |
| We believe the conduct of those state officials is both morally and religiously appalling, but also legally misguided. | |
| And it presents a dangerous attack, not just on Morningside Church and Pastor Jim, but on all religions and believers. | |
| The Constitution protects our rights and the right of our partners to freely practice religion and to express religion views and doctrines. | |
| And Pastor Jim Baker's rights to preach what the Lord lays on his heart without fear of government retaliation. | |
| And the Constitution also prohibits a faraway state government from attempting to supervise and censor or punish the content of religious sermons. | |
| That is our constitutional right. | |
| That is our First Amendment freedoms that we have in the United States of America. | |
| And right now, we as a ministry, we as a church, we have no other choice but to stand up right now and to defend, to defend our church members, to defend the information, defend. | |
| They are asking for the contributions that our partners have given to this ministry. | |
| And I just want to say it in boldness right now. | |
| I am asking for every church to stand with us, every member. of the body of Christ to stand with this ministry because if they can do it to us, if they can come in and cross over a line that is so dangerous between church and state and government, we are seeing right now where our first amendment, | |
| it is a crisis that is taking place nationwide. | |
| But right now, I'm asking you to stand with us, to stand with us in your prayers. | |
| We need your prayers. | |
