God's Call to Humility

| And people think, well, we're just going to solve all this, but it's not going to solve fast. | |
| God is asking America to turn to God. | |
| And my Bible came a few days ago, my prison Bible that was totally falling apart. | |
| Steve Strang had it rebuilt for me. | |
| And it's amazing because this was the most used Bible I've ever had. | |
| And it was falling apart. | |
| And they put it back together again. | |
| And I was just... | |
| You call it your prison Bible. | |
| This is the Bible that you studied and read. | |
| Learned so much. | |
| But, you know, everybody's reading, if my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves and pray, you know. | |
| But hardly anybody reads the verse before. | |
| And the verse before, verse 13, or you could go up to verse 12 if you want. | |
| And the Lord appeared to Solomon by night and said unto him, I have heard thy prayers and have chosen this place to myself for a house of sacrifice. | |
| If I shut up heaven, that there be no rain, or I command the locust to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people, that's what's going on. | |
| I command the locust to devour the land. | |
| Or if I send pestilence, that's what's going on right now. | |
| This is a disease that comes from the creation, from Adam, a pestilence. | |
| He said, if I send pestilence among my people, then he doesn't even catch a breath. | |
| It's not even a, it's a semicolon, I believe. | |
| And he says, if my people, if I send pestilence, but he says, if my people, this is for right now, this is the message for right now. | |
| If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face more and turn from their wicked ways. | |
| There's such wickedness in the world. | |
| Then will I hear from heaven, I will forgive their sins and I will heal their land. | |
| This is for us. | |
| This is 2020. | |
| That's right. | |
| This will give you a clear vision. | |
| Yes, but I love that scripture because when you read it, God's saying, if my people, not those who are already turned against him, not those who don't believe, he's saying you, those of you who know God, you've sought him, you seeked him, yet you have fallen away. | |
| Yet you have removed yourself from his word, from his truth. | |
| So he's calling on his people to rise up, to stand, to pray, to humble themselves. | |
| And I love that because, you know, God's talking to us. | |
| He's saying, you as a church, the body of Christ, you who know me, my children, must humble themselves. | |
| They must pray. | |
| They must seek me. | |
| They must come back to their first love. | |
| And so I want to encourage you that if you have sled away from the Lord, if you've turned your back against him, if you have wavered, if you have lost sight of truth, you know, I pray that today God will literally come into your home. | |
| He will speak to your heart and he will show you that it is you that he is speaking to. | |
| And that's why we do this show every single day, that his people would hear truth. | |
