God's Economic Shake 00:09:04
I'm concerned, you know, the economy crashed.
I mean, the whole world economy crashed.
Has this have any biblical type event that you could say, well, God did this before.
When God wants to shake a people, he shakes their finances as well as epidemic like this happening.
You're absolutely right on.
As a matter of fact, there's so many streams in this conversation.
The very prayer, if my people that are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face.
The verse that precedes that is, and if I should send a plague and it comes to my people, if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves.
The verse about if my people repenting and I heal the land is based on a plague.
Curiously enough, leading into that.
But to your point, and it's so critical, Jim.
In the period of Cyrus, in the period of history that we have in the Bible, it's a model for what's happening now with us.
If you go to the book, the prophet Hagga, Haggai was sent to the building project.
So basically, the Jews are sent back to Israel.
They go back to rebuild the house.
But the deep state in the situation harassed them.
It troubled them.
Ezra says they hired lawyers and legislators, counselors and media to discourage the reformation that the children of Israel were attempting in building their own spiritual house again, their spiritual heritage.
So the Jews quit and they all went to go build their ministries, build their businesses.
And they basically said, well, well, it's not the time for that.
Let's go take advantage of this economic moment and do what we're called to do.
The parallel is Christians had not recognized it was the mercy of God that gave us Trump.
Trump isn't a Democrat or a Republican, by the way.
Trump is the populist intervention.
And he's in there trying to clean up the mess, discovers the swamp, sees it's worse than he thought it was.
He's fighting every day with wolves.
He's saying, we got to have borders.
We have to protect America.
You can't trust China.
You can't trust being vulnerable with these other nations.
We got to be strong.
And he's getting beat up, beat up, beat up.
And most Christians, well, there's a group of us that love him.
We pray for him.
And, you know, we got our group.
By and large, it's like, well, I wish you wouldn't tweet what he tweets.
In other words, we haven't honored what God gave us and we haven't fought the battle for America.
We just all went to our own enterprises.
Now, here's what God did.
He went to Zerubbabel and to that building group.
And while they were all building their houses, he sent a prophet.
And the prophet Haggai shows up during an economic judgment.
And Haggai shows up.
You read Haggai chapter one.
It's our chapter.
And the Lord says, you guys all said it isn't time for you to get involved with my project.
And so I want you to consider your ways.
You sowed a lot, but you don't have anything now.
You have a lot of money, but you put it in a bag with a hole in it.
And you keep on reading it.
It says, and I basically called for a drought on all the labor of your hands.
Three and a half years, you hear Donald Trump talking.
It's almost like tragic comic.
He's always talking, we had the best economy in the world in the history of the world.
Record employment, record revenue, manufacturing coming back.
We had the best booming economy in all of history, and it's gone.
Wiped out.
That fast.
That hidden enemy.
Wiped out.
He's still trying to process.
Three years, $3 trillion of economic wealth recovered.
And in one two-week span, boom, all of it's gone.
All gone.
$3 trillion.
Now we got 10 million people in unemployment.
They estimated could go up to 20, 30 million people.
It's a devastation for us.
But here's the thing.
The prophet says, why did this happen?
It happened because you were all building your own kingdom and you weren't focused on my building project.
And I tell you the truth, I could not say, I'll tell people what the building project was because the metaphor, the language here is the house of God.
And most ministries are very happy to focus on their own church.
But then when I was in quarantine in my house with my family coming up to Passover, where the blood would pass over and a plague would be passing over our homes, our towns, I said, wait a second, while we're in our houses, I realize God's house right now is the White House.
God's house is the United States.
That God's project is to save America so that America can be strong enough so that the other nations that rely on us can still exist and they have time to take influence within their own government so that they don't go down the road of a beast system.
They could be sheep nations.
And I'm looking at that and saying, the house is the nation.
The nations belong to Jesus.
The nations belong to Jesus.
Psalm 2 says that nations were given to Jesus.
The house is that the church is the house of God and the house of God is the church, but the church is called to win the nations.
So we should be looking at God's government over the nations.
Jim, what I'm trying to say is the moment that the Jews judged themselves in Haggai, God began to reverse the economic plague.
At the moment that they said, listen to the prophet and said, you mean we've been, you haven't done this, Jim.
You've been sitting out there, but let's admit it.
There's not a whole lot of us out there in this zone, and we get targeted because we are outspoken for this president.
And we've seen apocalyptically what would happen to us if he wasn't there.
That's half the reason why people like you and I met.
We had a shared enlightened paranoia.
But in verse 14, there's a great verse in Haggai.
It says, so the Lord stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel.
And the Lord stirred up the spirit of Joshua, the preacher.
So we got a secular government guy, Zerubbabel, and the preacher.
We have to have the church and government awakened right now.
And then the spirit of the Lord stirred the remnant.
Jim, the word for stir there is the word Ur, you are.
It literally means to awaken, excite to insight, arouse to action, to prophetically open one's eyes.
And 75 times in the Old Testament, 75 times is used of an eagle that is stirring up its nest to an awakening.
The eagle is the sign of the United States.
God says the great awakening is going to come with the stirred eagle in the United States.
And the power of that eagle is going to produce, as the wings are moving, as the winds are moving, an awakened army that's going to rise up under a great awakening.
But it's not simply an awakening for a decision for Christ.
It's an awakening for a decision for nations.
And it's going to be a very controversial move because it's going to take the latent power of, and the nations, if what you guys are saying is true, and the body bags are being denied and the death toll is as high as it is, and the nations are going to experience the global reset economically, which is going to happen to all that, including America.
We haven't even gone there.
It's going to be different.
It could lead to populist uprisings in nations where the governments that brought these conditions on are made vulnerable by the people.
And if the gospel can go into that moment, then you will see God's people arising in these nations to put righteousness in office and take down incompetence and corruption.
It's a very big shaking.
Haggai says, the Lord says, hey, you know what?
It's an economic shaking, but I'll begin to restore for you what has been taken because the silver belongs to me, the gold belongs to me, and I'm shaking all the nations.
Chapter 2, verse 7, like your prophecy, I'm shaking every nation right now, and I'm building my own house in every nation.
So I really believe the word of the Lord is that God's shaking governments, God's shaking thrones, verse 22.
He's shaking political systems, and he's doing it because he's going to establish his people and his agenda.
And I think nations are going to come into the house of the Lord, not just a harvest out here in a field, but it's going to be the harvest of governments are going to start to open up to the gospel.
