Revelation's Time Has Come

|
|
| And yesterday I was going to read Revelation chapter 1 verse 1, just one verse, because it helps you to understand the revelation. | |
| Because a lot of people, you know, as you open the book of Revelation, the revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to show unto his servant things which must shortly come to pass. | |
| And so when I was in the prison, I was studying the word and I asked God, now, I don't get that, Lord. | |
| This is 2,000 years ago and it hasn't taken place. | |
| It says things which will shortly come to pass. | |
| So I go into the Greek, I dig it out, and I start studying what these words mean. | |
| And let me just read it and then give you some translation, okay? | |
| So it says, Revelation chapter 1, verse 1, and this will help you to know, we are in the Revelation time. | |
| And the wild and crazy thing about it is when Revelation begins, it's going to start quickly and it's going to go all the way through. | |
| And I'm telling you, we are in the Revelation days. | |
| The Revelation days, and you need to open it up. | |
| We've gotten so used to not even opening the book of Revelation. | |
| I'm glad you're doing a show on Revelation. | |
| So you and I are the only ones. | |
| No, there's a couple more doing Revelation shows. | |
| But thank God because it's time to open the book. | |
| And when you open the book, it's promised great blessings. | |
| Amen. | |
| So the revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him to show unto his servant things which must shortly come to pass. | |
| The Greek here is made up of two words, EN and Takos. | |
| I always call it Takos. | |
| I don't know exactly how to pronounce it. | |
| I love takos. | |
| I don't know how you pronounce it, but everybody remembers it then in the Greek. | |
| So you take these two words, EN, which means a fixed place in time. | |
| So here's what. | |
| When these things begin to happen, they're going to happen in a fixed place in time. | |
| And I've watched the four horsemen begin to ride in this period of time. | |
| And I believe all four horses are out of the barn. | |
| And one of the great doctors who we see a lot on the show, not on the show, on TV shows and news and all. | |
| Yes. | |
| He said, they're out of the barn. | |
| He said, it's out of the barn. | |
| Talking about the coronavirus. | |
| He said, it's out of the barn. | |
| I never heard a doctor say they were out of the barn, but that's what's true. | |
| The four horses are riding. | |
| And so it says, the Greek here is E-N, which means fixed place in time, a space or period within which anything takes place. | |
| And then it goes on, when started, it will happen suddenly. | |
| The word too there is takos. | |
| I'm sure it's not takos, but it's takos or something in the Greek, which means a brief space in time. | |
| And so he sent it in by his angel, his messenger, the word angel means messenger, unto his servant John. | |
| So the revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to show unto his servant things which will happen suddenly and take place in a brief period of time, and sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John. | |
| Wow. | |
| It's the Revelation when it really opens up, and it really, the four horses are the four really major things that begins. | |
| We have the churches and all, and that's interesting, and God speaks pretty clear there. | |
| But the action of the book of Revelation really starts with Revelation chapter 6 and the four horses of the apocalypse. | |
| And so, fixed place in time instead of shortly, fixed place, a space or period within which anything takes place, a brief space of time, it also means. | |
| So, it's when it comes to pass, it's going to happen one right after another. | |
| And we're there. | |
