God's Double Recompense

| Catherine, you have a saying that says God will give you double for your trouble. | |
| What does that mean? | |
| Well, you know, I really believe, Isaiah 61, that in this time, we need to recognize that the favor of God is on us for a purpose. | |
| And it is, it's for the purpose of harvest. | |
| The fields are white to harvest. | |
| I have a farmer friend who said that when it's time for harvest, the fields aren't white. | |
| They're golden. | |
| But then the next stage is white. | |
| And when the fields turn white, the grain's overripe. | |
| And it literally falls out into your hands. | |
| But you've got to hurry because the next stage after white is black when you can't harvest anymore. | |
| And I say, you know, there's such an urgency right now that I see the Lord showing us. | |
| We have a window of favor and a window of opportunity right now for harvest that is so glorious. | |
| And so what you are doing right now is so significant. | |
| Years ago, the Lord gave me, he spoke to me through a television ad. | |
| It was a Sony TV ad. | |
| And this guy was fly fishing, catching fish one at a time. | |
| And then he put a big television in his boat. | |
| And he turned it on and there was a dragonfly on the television. | |
| And all the fish just started jumping into the boat. | |
| And the Lord said, I'm going to do a new thing. | |
| You're not going to be catching them just one by one, hand by hand. | |
| You're going to see them come in en masse through the television. | |
| But you know, I believe the Lord would say to you, Jim, that you have been given a John 17 grace for such a time as this, that all the streams are going to flow as one river. | |
| And you have a grace to bring the prophets together to be like a spearhead, like a flock of birds that have a spearhead. | |
| The Lord says he's going to use you at this time. | |
| It's your turn to be the head of a spearhead that's going to pierce the darkness where the streams come together as one river. | |
| We've been good at operating in our different streams and we've not even recognized the different pieces. | |
| But as the pieces come together, and you have a grace for this, because you walk in humility and you have a grace. | |
| And I really believe this voice of the prophets network is such a significant, timely thing. | |
| It's not just another thing. | |
| We need the platform for the voices from the different streams to come together because every joint supplies and all the different pieces. | |
| And God has raised you up for such a time as this. | |
| I have such an excitement, but there is an urgency. | |
| And, you know, this whole double for your trouble thing, Isaiah 61, 7, for your former shame, pain, and disgrace, I will give you double recompense. | |
| And I've learned, actually, just to, and I believe this is what the Lord is saying to us as a church right now, that all the pain, all the shame, all the disgrace, even if you've brought it on yourself, because it was written to those who'd brought the trouble on themselves. | |
| If we will take it like foreign currency and bring it to the divine exchange table, God gives beauty instead of ashes. | |
| He gives double recompense in the very area you've been attacked. | |
| And you were attacked in such specific areas. | |
| I've learned, even if I get criticism in the media, I sow it for double favor in the media. | |
| And I tell you, God continues, He desires for us in this hour not to be shy, but to lay hold of what He's got for us and believe that He wants to give double recompense for the purpose of supernatural acceleration. | |
| Because the wind of the Spirit is right on His people right now. | |
| There's going to be an acceleration of wheat and tares. | |
| But I tell you, as we focus, there's a refining focus coming. | |
| And as we begin to allow the Holy Spirit to refine us, there is a supernatural acceleration that will accelerate you to what you are focused on. | |
| And so we need to have our focus really clear. | |
| We need to know what the Lord is saying. | |
| That's why we need the voice of the prophets. | |
| We need to hear what the Lord is saying. | |
| And we need to come into agreement with heaven's conversation to speak it, to declare it, and let that divine acceleration bring us forward and cause us to hit the mark in this hour, which is so vital. | |
| And such a we need to make hay while the sun shines. | |
