Values of the Older Generation 00:03:39
Someone said, I had to write it down because someone said a commentary the other day.
The values of the older generation is what is holding America together.
The 39-year-old down, their values is the future of America.
So even if Donald Trump wins this next election, they are already prepping for after his next term.
The 39-year-olds' values is what you just talked about that is being picked for us.
That's why it's so important for people to understand the older generation is so important for this time, for this moment in history, for you to go out and vote and get involved in the church.
I've always said we need you.
We need your wisdom.
It's not that, well, we're trying to separate from the older generation.
It's just that the values of the new generation is three things right now.
They don't want family, they don't want religion, and they don't want patriotism, being a patriot for the United States.
Can you imagine not having those three things in the next four years?
Well, for the Democratic Party, that's the future.
Having no families, having no religion, and the number one thing is not loving America.
For your generation, it's amazing the battle for America.
It's not about even money or anything.
It's about values.
Can you imagine America without God?
That's what we're seeing for the millennial generation that you're talking about.
And this is what the scary part is.
The American pastors, the American church don't want to deal with this reality because you said it the other day.
They don't know how.
They're not educated.
And that's why I believe what you guys are doing for this show, educating the pastors and the leadership with this material because our generation wants answers.
And if no one is giving us answers and we have to depend on the media to give us the answer on what the future of America is going to be, now we're in trouble with our generation.
You know, Lance, one of the things we're seeing from the youth, there's a slight turn away from abortion.
Yes.
Have you heard that?
Yes.
And they don't like killing the babies.
They don't like killing their own babies.
And so in some of the schools, there's a lot of pregnant girls now that they didn't see before because they just killed the pregnancy.
That's right.
That is turning.
And this is why prayer is a mysterious force, because the argument for life actually is working with millennials more and more.
And there's data that also says that as the LGBT agenda has been more and more aggressive, that there's been in millennials a withdrawal.
It's kind of like what they want is everyone to be able to have the same opportunity, be loved, and no discrimination.
What they really are turned off by is when somebody's hurt because of somebody else's liberty.
And so the more that that kind of a realization happens, the more you're seeing millennials are entering a moment where a number of them are persuadable and they're looking for answers.
The question is, are we going to be there with those answers?
Making the Case 00:00:39
And I honestly believe that part of my burden this year, and maybe we'll do some of that, Jim, on a future program, is I want to put together a resource kit that would have the top 10 big ideas that we're wrestling with in the United States.
Excellent.
And to be able to break it down in simplicity and say, here's the biblical worldview, and here's the logical argument you need, because you're not always talking to people that are Christians.
That's right.
So you can at least know what the word says, and then how do you make that case with someone who's not a Christian?
Lance, we got to do that.
We have to do that.
That's powerful.
Wouldn't you like to have that information to be able to share with your family?
