Why Trump Wasn't Called Racist
00:02:10
|
|
| So is Trump a racist? | |
| Can I ask you that question? | |
| Yeah, you know, I actually I asked God that, you know, because, you know, you hear it, and as an African man, you don't want, you know, African, you know, people are, people of color, I've gone through a lot of racism through different dispensations of time, but they're not the only ones, though, because racism is really one of the works of the flesh, you know. | |
| I've seen black people be as racist towards white people. | |
| So I've seen it that side too. | |
| But I asked God about that, and I said, because I said, God, you know, you know, it's good to know God where you can talk to him, actually. | |
| Yes, you know, because he really wants to talk to us about these day-to-day issues. | |
| And I said to the Lord, you know, Lord, now, is Trump a racist? | |
| And God said to me, it was the fastest no God has ever given me. | |
| He says, no, he's not. | |
| You know, he said to me, no, he's not. | |
| He says, but pray for him to grow in the gift of the word of wisdom. | |
| But then he said to me, then he began to remind me. | |
| He says, Francis, you know, Trump has lived in the American limb light. | |
| He has been, I mean, I remember Trump actually accompanying Jesse Jackson to his campaigns. | |
| People forget that Trump was one of the first billionaires to support Reverend Jesse Jackson when he ran for the White House. | |
| It was not a successful bid, but Trump was right there behind him, giving him money. | |
| Nobody called Trump a racist when, I mean, trust me, if he was a racist, then everybody would have been saying to Reverend Jackson, why are you doing running for the campaign, you know, having a white racist behind you? | |
| But nobody said that. | |
| I mean, Al Shapton, I mean, I remember Reverend Alveda King was on Fox News, and she said, he said, this thing about Trump is a racist, he said, I don't get it. | |
| He says, because I remember taking photos with Al Shapton and Reverend Jack, I was there when they were giving Trump awards for being a friend of African Americans. | |
| How do you give this guy awards for being a friend of African Americans? | |
| And then when he runs for the White House, he decided the best strategy for me to rule is to become a racist. | |
| Doesn't even make sense at all. | |
| Doesn't make sense. | |
| And I think most of the people that called him that already know that's not even true. | |
