But the timing of the rapture.
Now, there's a pre-tribulation theory, there's the mid-tribulation theory, and the post-tribulation.
Which one do you believe?
Well, is that too political?
Not at all.
First of all, there's no such thing as mid-tribulation because that's predicated on there being a seven-year tribulation.
There's not one scripture in the entire Bible for a seven-year tribulation.
Even though everybody teaches it, all the commentaries teach it, not one scripture.
But there are six specific scriptures that teach a three and one-half-year tribulation.
Daniel 7, 25, the Antichrist will make war against the saints for time, times, half a time.
Revelation 13, 5, power was given unto the beast to continue 42 months.
He made war against the saints and overcame them.
Revelation 12, verse 5 and 6, the dragon made war against the woman for 1,260 days.
1,260 days is three and a half years.
42 months, three and a half years.
Time times and half a time, 42 months.
Did I say that right?
Three and a half years.
So every single reference to the Great Tribulation in the Bible is three and one half years.
There is a seven-year period called Daniel's 70th week, but the Great Tribulation does not start until halfway through.
Jesus taught that explicitly.
He said in Matthew 24, 15, when you therefore shall see the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet, which Daniel said happens in the middle of the week, in the middle of that seven-year period.
When you see that, then if you're in Judea, flee, because then will be great tribulation such as never been before nor ever again shall be.
So Jesus taught that the abomination of desolation, which happens halfway through the seven-year period, that's the trigger for the great tribulation.
So the great tribulation will be the last half.
The first thing that happens is the signing of the peace agreement, which President Trump has ready now.
He wants to do it right now.
People, we are so involved.

All America, all the world, the book of Revelation, we're in it.
We are the Revelation generation.
Do you know that?
And so you're talking about, you're in Matthew 24, which I believe is like an index almost to the Revelation.
Sure.
And so you believe in a post-tribulation.
That means after, post-is after.
Yeah, you know, Pastor Jim, I had, when I was a young teenager, I got interested in prophecy way back then.
Yeah, yeah.
And my dad was a pastor.
So dad never taught prophecy that much.
But I went to him one day and I said, Dad, Matthew 24, 29 through 31, immediately after the tribulation of those days, shall the sun be darkened, the moon shall not give her light, stars will fall from heaven.
All right, we're putting that on the screen, too.
Now, could you start over again?
Yes, Matthew.
I want you to listen.
No, no, no.
I know where he's going.
I don't know where he's going, but I know where he's going because I know those scriptures.
But I'll tell you what, people, you better listen because it said the tribulation in Matthew 24, and it says, and then.
Matthew 24, 29, immediately after the tribulation of those days, shall the sun be darkened, the moon shall not give her light.
16 times in the Bible, it says the sun is going to be darkened.
Go ahead.
And the powers of the heaven shall be shaken.
Then shall appear the sign of the coming of the Son of Man.
He will send his angels together his elect.
And then it goes on to say, two shall be in the bed, one taken, the other left.
Two grinding at the mill, one taken, the other left.
Here's the key.
I want everybody to get what you're teaching because it's so important.
It's after the tribulation that Jesus comes in the clouds.
Is that right?
Absolutely.
Absolutely.
See, I had to go to prison to learn that, but you've learned it from your father.
Well, actually, I learned it from questioning my father.
I said, Dad, it says right here after the tribulation, why do we teach pre-trib?
That's what I say.
Oh, my God.
That's what happened to me in prison.
I said, how can this be?
How can this be?
They've had to twist Scripture to get out of the...
They don't want...
You know, it's like trying to sell something.
It's hard to sell tribulation.
You know, my dad, he said to me, son, they tell me the elect are the Jews.
That's not us.
So I had a Strong's exhaustive concordance.
So I go to Strong's.
Oh, yeah.
I looked up elect.
It's 13 times in the New Testament.
Once it's referring to Jesus, once the angels, the other 11 times the church.
I went back and I said, Dad, it's the church.
He said, son, I don't know.
So every preacher that came by our house, he'd say, ask him.
I mean, we stayed up till 1 or 2 o'clock in the morning around our kitchen table many times going over the scriptures.
I'll tell you the nail in my pre-trib coffin, the last nail in my coffin.
I got to Revelation 20, verse 4 through 6, and I read there where it said, I saw those that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus.
They did not take the mark.
They did not worship these.
These lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
This is the first resurrection.
That froze me in my tracks.
Wait, are you telling me the people that don't take the mark, when they're resurrected, that's the first one?
What's my resurrection I'm teaching supposed to happen seven years before this?
I knew right then.

Wow.
I knew I was wrong.
And so from that point on, I've been talking about it.
How do you interpret that those days will be shortened for the elect's sake?
Those horrible tribulations under the fourth trumpet.
The Bible says the sun will not shine for one-third part of the day.
The moon shall not shine for one-third part of the night.
So the question is, are the number of days going to be shortened or is the length of each day going to be shortened?
According to Revelation chapter 8, I think it's verse 10, it says the sun will not shine for one-third part of the day, the moon shall not shine for one-third part of the night.
God's going to speed everything up so that time is flying faster.
