The Sun Will Be Darkened

| Do you realize what the Bible says? | |
| Nobody preaches this but me. | |
| I've not heard anybody ever preach on this subject, that the sun is going to be dark before Jesus comes back. | |
| You don't believe me? | |
| That's all right. | |
| I don't know how many times. | |
| I've got three Revelation teaching, honey, a lot over the years. | |
| Well, you're in Matthew 24. | |
| We are your number one disciples. | |
| Well, you that have been to my teaching, yes. | |
| But, you know, the Bible says the sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood before the great and terrible day of the Lord comes, before the coming of the Lord. | |
| That's right. | |
| That's what it says. | |
| Matthew 24, do you realize the Bible says at Matthew 24, which I'm preaching all the time, that everything in Matthew 24 has to be fulfilled. | |
| Yes. | |
| And then Jesus comes back. | |
| Did you know that? | |
| Yes. | |
| And it says all of this takes place before the great and terrible day of the Lord comes. | |
| And the sun should be turned into darkness, the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come. | |
| That's in the Acts. | |
| And it is so powerful. | |
| I may mention that a little bit later. | |
| You know what's so incredible about this is that I've been with you 20-some years. | |
| I've heard this message last week. | |
| I've been doing an intense study about Matthew 24. | |
| What if Jesus, in three different occasions, reminded us about the coming of him coming back? | |
| You find it in Matthew 24, of course. | |
| You find it in Mark chapter 13. | |
| And then you find it in chapter 21 in Luke. | |
| Three different occasions Jesus sat down with different disciples when they asked him the question, Teacher, what will be the signs of your coming back? | |
| In three different occasions, Jesus sat down with different disciples. | |
| Now, if it goes back, I've learned from you, every comma means something, every dot and diddle means something. | |
| I want to tell you something. | |
| Every time you go back to Matthew 24, he explains it very differently in chapter 13 in Mark, in chapter 21 of Luke, and you realize that when Jesus explained to the disciples in three different occasions what will take place, it's like looking at America today. | |
| You will hear of wars. | |
| You will hear of earthquakes. | |
| Listen, John came in my office today, my brother-in-law. | |
| Yes. | |
| He said, Do you know that every time we have a show with no guests, and we have never mentioned the last few months about earthquakes being here, there was an earthquake today in Papua New Guinea? | |
| I'm telling you, when you bring out Matthew 24, Dad, and you look at the news, I think this is the most news we've ever had on our desk. | |
| We have so much news. | |
| The whole desk. | |
| We really do. | |
| I was shocked when I walked out here. | |
| But you hear, you got from rumors of war with China, rumors of war with Iran. | |
| You got the economy. | |
| You got weather going crazy. | |
| You got earthquakes. | |
| Do you ever care? | |
| You got persecution. | |
| Do you even care? | |
| It says charisma. | |
| Do you ever even care that America is on the brink of apocalyptic war with Iran? | |
| Matthew 24. | |
| Connecticut man is facing 140 years in prison. | |
| He threatens to kill the president. | |
| I keep telling you, if we don't start loving one another, they're going to try to kill the president. | |
| And they have tried, believe me. | |
| That's Matthew 24. | |
| I mean, when you put it into context of what the headlines are saying right now. | |
| And it's Luke 21, like you said, Mondo. | |
| I'm reading Luke 21. | |
| It's Luke 21 as well. | |

| In Mark chapter 13. | |
| So you're going back three different occasions. | |
| Jesus sat down with the disciples. | |
| Now, if he said it more than once, what did we learn in your Bible school, Pastor Jim? | |
| We learned that if Jesus talked about it more than once, then it's important. | |
| Yes. | |
| One time is important. | |
| Two times is really important. | |
| The third time is for people like me that get to the first. | |
| But here's the thing: I'm not going to preach Matthew 24 again today. | |
| I'm just going to tell you that at the end of Matthew 24, it says, Immediately after the tribulation of days, the sun will be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heaven shall be shaken. | |
| And then shall appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. | |
| Wow. | |
| He comes after those things. | |
| People say, Oh, no, oh, we're going out. | |
| Well, I was just reading Corey 10 Boom, her warning that she gave me. | |
| Yes. | |
| Oh, warn people that against false doctrine that's being preached. | |
| She said, It's not going to be a pre-tribulation rapture. | |
| Wow. | |
| Wow. | |
| She begged me. | |
| She begs others. | |
| But it says, Then shall appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven, and shall all the tribes of the earth mourn. | |
| And you shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven and power. | |
| And then go back to verse 33. | |
| So likewise, when you see all these things, what they all of Matthew 24, Jesus is still talking. | |
| He sat down, and this is a one message to his disciples. | |
| He said, When you see all these things, know that it is near, even at the door. | |
| I say unto you, this generation, what generation? | |
