Greater Works Than These

| You know, it's been a mystery to a lot of people that we can do more works than Jesus did. | |
| That scripture is clear that that's what it says. | |
| Right, quickly, let's go to the 14th chapter of John. | |
| We read those scriptures. | |
| Verse 12, Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do. | |
| Now, what did Jesus do? | |
| Matthew 9. | |
| Teach, preach, and heal. | |
| Right now, we're doing the works of Jesus. | |
| These are the works of Jesus. | |
| And greater works than these shall he do because I go unto my Father. | |
| Well, what he's talking about, when that day comes, the Holy Spirit will come and you'll be empowered. | |
| He just got this saying here in the 10th verse, the words that I speak unto you are not my own, for it's the Father that dwelleth within me. | |
| He does the work. | |
| Now. | |
| That's right. | |
| And this is correct. | |
| We're doing greater works because we're speaking to tens of thousands, millions of people, and then who knows how many online here. | |
| So this is greater works. | |
| Yes. | |
| And that's correct. | |
| But now, wait a minute. | |
| Go to the third chapter of the book of Ephesians because Jesus said greater works than I have done here. | |
| Think about it. | |
| Wow. | |
| Now, I've read through Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, and the book of Acts, and there's some great stuff in there. | |
| But he said greater. | |
| And here it is in the third chapter of Ephesians. | |
| Verse 14. | |
| For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, of whom? | |
| Of the Father the whole family in heaven and earth is named. | |
| That he would grant you according to the riches of his glory to be strengthened with might by his spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith, that you being rooted and grounded in love. | |
| Nothing happens without it. | |
| There it is. | |
| Rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the depth and length, or the breadth and length and depth and height. | |
| And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that you might be filled. | |
| Now, here's the key. | |
| From here down, this is the key to the greater works. | |
| Say greater works. | |
| Greater works. | |
| Say it again. | |
| Greater works. | |
| To know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge, that you might be filled with all the fullness of God now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that worketh within us. | |
| That's it. | |
| Wow. | |
| Above all you can ask or think. | |
| That's it. | |
