| You know, Jim, I believe we're being desensitized to evil in this nation. | |
| I don't know if you've ever heard of the boiling frog theory, where that frog sits in a boiling pot of water and it adjusts its body temperature as the water temperature rises, but then when it's called to jump out, it can't anymore because it's lost all its strength. | |
| I believe that our American church culture is being desensitized to evil to the point where now we're celebrating the shedding of innocent blood. | |
| Maybe the greatest gift that the church needs right now is the gift of interpretation. | |
| We have to begin to interpret New York in a correct biblical way. | |
| The Lord has said to me, failure to accurately interpret the signs of the times, it leads to a culture of prayerlessness. | |
| When we fail to accurately interpret what's happening in New York, no one's praying, no one's mobilizing, no one's speaking out. | |
| And that call of the watchman, God is calling on watchmen in every sphere of society to rise, to spare, to cry aloud, and spare not. | |
| But here's the thing: it doesn't matter whether people listen or fail to, it doesn't matter whether they agree. | |
| We cannot allow the disobedience of our culture to keep us disobedient. | |
| That's right. | |
| This is the hour to stand, to speak for truth, and to partner with God's heart. | |
| Amen. | |
