| But I want to share something with you that may be from the Lord. | |
| I'm not going to say it is, because I'm not like these people who always say God told me or thus saith the Lord. | |
| I don't do that. | |
| But there's something I want to share with you. | |
| 15 years ago, I'm having a meal in our home at that time we lived in Key Largo with John Paul Jackson that we've just been talking about. | |
| And in the middle of the meal, just spontaneously, he said, R.T. You will live to a ripe old age, but if you don't get in shape physically, you're not going to be around to enjoy it. | |
| Well, because of his track record with me on other things he had said, he put the fear of God in me. | |
| That day, I started. | |
| I watch my weight. | |
| I get weight every day. | |
| If I go up, I don't eat much that day. | |
| If I go down, I can have a pizza that day. | |
| I weigh 168. | |
| I don't want to go above that if I can help it. | |
| I got a trainer. | |
| I got an exercise book. | |
| I got a diet book. | |
| And if it weren't for John Paul's word, I don't think I could do what I do today. | |
| I have no doubt that it was one of the best words he ever gave me. | |
| He's given me a lot, but that was the one that did the most for me. | |
| I'm giving that to you. | |
| I think you need to do what I did. | |
| You're not overweight, so that's not the problem. | |
| But I would suggest you get a godly trainer. | |
| Yes. | |
| Someone who knows about blood pressure and how much you can do at your age. | |
| Because you can have another 10 years of good living, but you need to get in shape physically. | |
| And I think what John Paul gave to me, I'm supposed to give to you. | |
| And think about it. | |
| Yes. | |
| Oh, he doesn't have to think about it. | |
| I'm thinking for him. | |
| Yes. | |
| The answer is yes. | |
| Oh, my goodness. | |
| This is the word of the Lord for real. | |
| John Paul really affected your lives. | |
| Yes. | |
| And I asked you a question earlier in the show. | |

Awakening Before The Second Coming

| You never answered me about, did you ever talk about the future? | |
| Yes. | |
| So you talked about your future, about getting health and strong. | |
| But what about America? | |
| Did he give us any thoughts of what's coming? | |
| It is said, I don't know that this could be proved, but he apparently gave a word before he died that anticipated that Donald Trump would be president. | |
| And I've heard it, and it sounds a whole lot like that. | |
| I know that he was optimistic in one way, another way he thought it looks pretty bad. | |
| But he believed, as I do, that the next thing to happen on God's calendar is not the second coming, but an awakening of the church before the second coming, the greatest move of the Spirit since Pentecost. | |
| And I believe it's right. | |
| Some other time you might want to have me back to talk about my book on the midnight cry. | |
| Because in Matthew 25, where Jesus gave the parable of the ten virgins, five wise, five foolish, it says at midnight. | |
| Now, the word midnight comes from three Greek words that means middle of night. | |
| I think people have hastily assumed that meant 12 o'clock midnight, end of history, something like that. | |
| That's not what it means. | |
| When the church is in a deep, deep sleep, picture yourself 2 o'clock in the morning. | |
| Last thing you want is a wake-up. | |
| That's where the church is. | |
| Jesus said, while the bridegroom tarried, they all, even the wise, slumbered and slept. | |
| You don't know you were asleep until you wake up. | |
| The wake-up call will make people realize how far they've gone. | |
| And that is not when the bridegroom came. | |
| It was moments later. | |
| And so, how much time between the wake-up call, the great awakening, and the end? | |
| I don't know that, but there will be an awakening of the church prior to the second coming. | |
| And John Paul and I agreed on that, and I thought you'd be interested in that. | |
| Yes, yes, absolutely. | |
| And I believe most of my audience believe that too. | |
