Moderation Is Key

| You know what the key is? | |
| It's moderation. | |
| It's not all or nothing. | |
| And so many people, when they fall off the horse and they go, oh, you know, I ate that slice of pie, I ate that cake, that becomes their new life. | |
| So you have to understand, if you just do it in moderation, sometimes it's once a, you know, one day a week you choose and say, you know what, I'm going to cheat this day. | |
| That's okay. | |
| Don't be so limited in this diet to where you don't think you can enjoy some of the other things and the other. | |
| We own the book. | |
| We have it. | |
| Some are doing the diet. | |
| Some are praying about doing the diet. | |
| And my question is: I have had friends that have the book, they've read it, and they said, I am literally going to have to throw out everything in my kitchen. | |
| They start freaking out and they don't know what to cook to and they go into depression. | |
| And let's talk about that, you know, because that is that's tough. | |
| When you first read, it's like you see the list of everything that you have to throw out of your fridge in your pantry, and there's you feel like there's nothing left. | |
| Well, that's the great thing about the diet. | |
| It keeps you full. | |
| And so if you're doing it correctly and you're getting your good fats in, you shouldn't be hungry like you were. | |
| And see, that's a good, that's what I want you to tell them. | |
| You know, that's what they need to hear is that it will keep you full because I do have satisfied because you're getting those good, healthy fats. | |
| Can I tell you, this diet really is easy. | |
| And the reason I like it is because when I cheat, sometimes when I think I'm cheating, I'll realize, oh, wait, this is actually keto approved. | |
| Things like butter. | |
| I know you love butter. | |
| I love butter. | |
| We love butter. | |
| Can I tell you, there's sour cream. | |
| And if you do the right kind of non-GMO mayonnaise, yes. | |
| I mean, think about it. | |
| Mayonnaise, the right, now healthy mayonnaise, not mayonnaise with all the hydrogenated fats, but if you do some of the hydrogenated free mayonnaise. | |
| But let me tell you, in the book, there's recipes. | |
| This is so easy. | |
| You just think you can have meats with cheese. | |
| Imagine you can have any meat. | |
| Take cheese, melt it on. | |
| You could use olive oil, salmon, take olive oil, marinated on it. | |
| There's so many recipes. | |
| So don't think this is difficult. | |
| Let me tell you, it's easy. | |
| It's extremely simple. | |
