Feds Dictate Curriculum

| How did they sneak all these untruths and lies into our history, into the books, into the textbooks? | |
| Very, very simple. | |
| Or take away our history's been rewritten. | |
| Yeah, yeah, so now kids are getting lies. | |
| Okay, so what happened, it was under, in about 1992, a federal bill called Goals 2000 and school to work were passed. | |
| And essentially what happened is it was bribe and extortion. | |
| The federal government said to the local schools, hey, we'll throw some money at you. | |
| We'll give you some money. | |
| About 6% of every dollar spent in the public schools is federal money. | |
| And so the tail wags the dog. | |
| The federal government tells the locals what to do with 100% of the money, even though they only supply six cents of it. | |
| And so what the federal government said is, hey, we'll boost that up. | |
| We'll give you a little more money. | |
| You give us all your standards. | |
| You give us all your testing. | |
| You give us all your teacher training. | |
| And so we, the feds, will tell you what you have to teach, what you teach in your textbooks, what your testing is, what your teachers have to teach. | |
| We'll have 100% control of your classroom. | |
| You give us your local control, and we'll all be cool. | |
| And that's it, in a nutshell. | |
| And so now the federal government tells the local schools, this is what you have to teach. | |
| So that's why they test these kids to death to ensure that the kids parrot back the propaganda nonsense that the federal bureaucrats want them to spout back. | |
| So that's why if you have conversations with your child and you think, where did you get that from? | |
