Prayer and Faith Testimony 00:02:55
Should the sports world be involved in politics and there seems to be a crackdown happening on them right now?
And also, what is North Korea's deal?
Why are they continuing to threaten the United States?
All this and more on Revelation in the News.
Hello and welcome to Revelation in the News.
I'm your host, Ricky Baker.
Joining me today is John Woodall and James Chapman.
Esther Flax is sick today, so she has the day off, but we're definitely going to miss her on today's broadcast.
House Whip Steve Khaleese returns to Capitol Hill and he says, I am a living example that miracles really do happen.
Let's watch that.
When I was laying out on that ball field, the first thing I did once I was down and I couldn't move anymore is I just started to pray.
And I will tell you, it gave me an unbelievable sense of calm knowing that at that point it was in God's hands.
But I prayed for very specific things.
And I will tell you, pretty much every one of those prayers was answered.
And they were some pretty challenging prayers I was putting in God's hands.
But he really did deliver for me and my family.
And it just gives you that renewed faith in understanding that the power of prayer is something that you just cannot underestimate.
So I am definitely a living example that miracles really do happen.
You know, I really liked what he had to say there, and I'm really proud of him for standing up.
And, you know, he's really gone through so much in the last couple of months.
They've even said like they weren't sure if he was going to make it.
You know, he was shot in the hip and he had so much internal bleeding.
But to hear him in his position stand up and declare his faith in God and say, you know, just how much more strong he feels after going through all this.
But he even later thanked the security and police officers that were there that honestly protected him as well as many other people that took down the shooter.
But, you know, with that said, I'm sure Bernie Sanders and Diana Feinstein are just cringing because they still think he's unfair.
And nobody with any kind of faith should be in office.
But, you know, and this is a testament.
You know, he's talking about prayer and he's talking about faith.
NFL Controversy Escalates 00:12:30
I think right now we all need to consider how much we need to be praying for our leadership and our country.
These guys, they put their lives on the line every day.
I know they get threats all the time for their stances, for what they do, for what they don't do.
Now it's even escalated even more in the last, you know, the recent months and years.
Yeah.
It's been even escalating to a higher level of aggression towards these men and women.
You know, and speaking of our leadership, there's one thing that keeps coming up in the news within the NFL.
And, you know, recently Trump has made some statements toward the NFL.
And I really wished that he wouldn't have said what he said.
You know, he's asking for people to boycott the NFL.
But that's not the point.
The point is what he said and how he said it, calling them certain names, SOBs, just to put it out there.
I hope you know what that means, but I'm not going to say it.
You know, and I think everybody has a right to be heard.
And that's kind of what my question is revolving around.
It's not that I'm against what they're doing, but it's against the symbolism that it's perceived as to what statement they're making.
As the saying goes, actions speak louder than words.
And right now, you know, he's praising the fans for booing.
You know, everybody in this situation has a right to be heard.
You know, a feud with the athletes have escalated.
We're seeing that constantly.
And does this have anything really to do with the race?
That's what they're saying.
And Roger Goodell is, you know, saying that the league's own rules.
It's stated in the rules to not show up for the anthem that you can be fined and you can lose your place in picks.
So why aren't they to play?
This is part of their rules.
So why is it not being enforced?
Well, that's a good question.
And I have some thoughts on that.
But, I mean, we even saw the Steelers.
They didn't even go out on the field as well as many other teams.
And Villanova, a former Army Ranger, actually went out of the tunnel and stood up for the national anthem in front of everybody.
And then later he apologized for offending anybody that his action.
Well, here you go.
You know, the Pittsburgh Steeler head coach, Mike Tomlin, said, respect of our football team, Trump the right of the Steelers, offensive tackle, Alejandra Villanova.
And he said that on TV.
That's absolutely.
Now, we're seeing people, you know, I understand the silent protesting.
I get all that.
But whenever Tim Thibault was doing it a while ago, how come people were so outraged and trying to get him to stop kneeling for Jesus Christ?
And the list goes on.
You just made a perfect example.
He kneels to thank the good Lord for a touchdown.
Other players like RG3 has even worn a t-shirt out on the field that said, no, Jesus, no peace.
You know, I mean, at this point, it's such a mixed bag.
It's like, first of all, they need to know what they're protesting at this point.
And now, is it the brutality?
Is it Trump?
Is it, you know, where are we going with this?
And also, if we're going to have freedom on the field, what freedoms do we want?
If we're going to allow this to happen, why aren't we allowing someone like Tim Thibault to be able to do it?
Absolutely.
You have to be able to be on both sides of the field.
You can't just play one side of the field.
Well, the Post reported just after last Sunday, after Trump made his statement, what are the rules?
Well, under the league rules, the failure to be on the field during the national anthem can result in disciplinary actions such as fine suspension or loss of draft pick.
But a league official said the key phrase is it may.
So in other words, what I'm saying is when you look at a business, the business has the right to have a statement, this is what we stand for.
So obviously they're making a statement as this is what we stand for.
Now, again, I go back.
I wish Trump did not make that statement because the whole kneeling thing was starting to fizzle out and we're starting to see more unity and things coming together.
But then he goes and throws fuel on the fire.
And now it's not, I don't see it as a race issue anymore.
I see it as a protest against Donald Trump and the American flag.
But you know what I've noticed about the NFL and a number of different sports leagues is that they really use the flag whenever it benefits them.
You know, we'll put it on our players' helmets and stuff and it brings revenue in really because there's a certain amount of patriotism.
We have beer cans with the flag on it and people go out of the way to buy those ones just because we're American.
Exactly.
So we love the flag until it doesn't benefit us anymore until we realize that, oh, or people say like America's a bad country.
America's not a bad country.
Has America done bad things?
Absolutely.
But does that make it an all-around corrupt and immoral country?
Absolutely not.
But people only ever want to focus on the negative things that America has done.
So when the flag doesn't benefit them, they automatically turn their back on it.
Because the NFL, I mean, when people think about the NFL, they think like America.
You know what I'm saying?
Like people wake up, they go to church, they come home, they cook their stuff.
Your pastor says, okay, we're going to try to get you out.
Exactly.
It's football time.
That's what you think of when you think of America.
So, I mean, what does it stand for now?
And the NFL is not the only sports league right now.
It's having some issues, is it?
Yes, yeah, actually.
But hang on, I want to say one more thing on this matter because this isn't just affecting the United States.
This is now affecting the globe because when you have a team go to London and they take a kneel at the national anthem, it's no longer about you.
It's no longer about how you feel.
Now it's a global thing about how you feel about your nation and what you live in because when you kneel in London for the national anthem, but then you stand for God Save the Queen, you can't say it's about race at that moment because come on, London, England, Great Britain.
It's very racist.
Extremely racist.
Yeah, they have the same amount of race issues we do.
I mean, up until like a few years ago, it was hard enough for a black player to play in England.
Now, you know, we see the Olympics.
We see soccer.
We see the Olympics coming up soon.
Do you think that these people are going to try to make a statement on the Olympic stage if they win medals?
No, at this point, it wouldn't surprise me.
If they're going to kneel in London, why wouldn't they kneel?
Why wouldn't they take their issue all the way to the Olympics?
If I was a betting man, I'd bet on...
Someone's going to kneel on one of those platforms.
It's going to be humongous.
But to me.
But that's going to be a big slap in the face of the United States of America.
Because at that point, it's no longer this is a degeneration of America's will to fight.
Are we seeing Americans have the will to fight?
Maybe that's the question everybody watching today should be asking themselves is, you know, really, what do I stand for?
Yeah.
And we, you know, I was listening and reading to different players, and they're saying, you know, no matter whether the fans show up, I'm still making my $13 million a year.
So they don't care about you.
It's not about the fans.
No, once they sign their contracts, they're good to go.
James, you made a great point.
Even if they're injured, they're still getting paid.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
I mean, if a football player, if they're injured, they can be out the whole game.
They can be out the whole season, and they had made more money than I will.
Yeah, absolutely.
Like I said, there is some controversy happening in other sports right now, right?
Yeah, yeah.
Actually, it's one me and you watch a lot.
Very dearly.
Very dear to my heart.
Dear to our hearts.
Tar Hills.
Actually, it's college basketball.
Yeah, we love it.
What's happening?
Well, what's going on in college basketball is the FBI is bringing Armageddon to college basketball.
And it's just the tip of the iceberg.
What do you mean by Armageddon?
What's happening in college basketball?
Here it goes.
The federal government dropped a bomb on college basketball, indicating 10 men in a widespread fraud and bribery scheme involving top recruit college programs, agents, financial planners, and the shoe in apparel company Adidas.
Adidas is getting involved in the future.
I mean, the whole engulfment of college basketball from the shoes they wear to the players, to the agents, to looking for players.
You know, this isn't, I mean, this isn't the first time that we've seen these kinds of things.
We've seen huge cases.
Remember Penn State and the football team a couple years ago?
Okay, keep going because I want to know more about them.
Side note, you'll see these recruiters are sometimes really dirty political people also.
Assistants coach at Arizona, Auburn, Oklahoma State, USC were all arrested, and their program are almost certainly in dire straits with both the Department of Justice and the NCAA.
Also, in the crossfire is the so-called University 2.
What's that?
What's that?
Which in the compliance is described in a way that resembles the University of South Carolina.
Oh, which James, that's you.
Yes.
Yeah, in a sense.
South Carolina was actually in the tournament.
Yeah.
They did pretty good last year in the tournament.
Then there's University 6, which is described in a way that resembles the University of Louisville, linking it to a $100,000 payout for one recruit in a potential of $150,000 payout for another.
So they're paying these kids either to transfer schools or play with them.
Yeah.
Well, also, all of this while on probation for a scandal involving using prostitutes to lure recruits.
Oh, my God.
So Rick Petino actually has been fired, who is the coach of the Louisville basketball team.
Yeah.
So in Lehman's terms here, they're saying that, oh, we want that player.
So, hey, recruit guy.
Here's a nice lady.
You know, you really should pick our dude.
Oh, my goodness.
So there's, I mean, there's almost more politics in sports now than there is in politics.
Politics.
That's just down the road from Kentucky, University of Kentucky, and John Calapari.
Now, John Calapari is known for having consistently the top players.
Yeah.
Like, what was it?
Four years ago, he had literally two teams ready just to switch in and out.
And it makes you think.
Hey, don't hit on the Wildcats.
That's not sure what's going on.
Keep going.
Hey, it makes you think it's like, I mean, James, don't tell me something's happening with the Wildcats, James.
I'll be so sad.
Don't do that.
We're cutting the show if that happens right now.
Maybe.
A statement by said undercover agent, FBI agent, said it should terrify every coach in America because this effort is being submitted for the limited purpose of establishing probable cause.
It does not include all of the facts that I have learned during the court of the investigation.
Meaning this is just the tip of the iceberg.
This guy's saying, this guy's saying, oh, oh, oh, he's like, this is not over.
One, it's an ongoing digging.
Yeah.
Here's what happened.
The hook got in, and now all the fishes are going to be.
I mean, I'm just going to say it.
I'm worried for Syracuse.
I'm worried for Duke.
Yeah, I'm worried of Kentucky.
I'm worried for Kansas.
The Jayhawks, man.
They're coming for you, John.
We're all basketball guys here, so we hope.
I mean, in a sense, if you truly are a basketball fan, it's good to be able to do it.
I'm going to see when I see the cleanup because in sports, you want that raw sports, Viv.
Drain the swamp of the NCAA.
Hey, I can get behind that drain of Swiss.
I can get behind that drain of my basketball swamp.
Aid Efforts in Venezuela 00:15:06
That's funny.
I mean, there's so much going on in sports.
You got to wonder, is God saying something?
Is he dismantling our idols of just, you know, like I say, we get out of church early just to go watch the game.
I mean, I remember, remember my church, younger, the Panthers were the big thing.
He's saying, okay, don't worry, guys.
I'll have you out here before the game time.
Not 1155.
You're on your way.
Speaking of draining the swamp, we said the NCAA were draining the swamp.
There's also a country right now that is kind of in swamped, and you've been there multiple times and you've served there multiple times.
That's Venezuelan.
There's a Venezuelan mass exodus.
I mean, some 25,000 people crossing the Simón Bolivar International Bridge into Colombia every single day.
That's 25,000 people every day.
They can't find work.
They can't find work back home.
They're there only for proper meals throughout the day.
And officials figure that they put the number of Venezuelans who have come and left their homeland.
They've come to Colombia, left their homeland, around 300,000.
You know, and the scary thing is, is I know as a ministry, we're trying to help out in these different areas that are seeing such a major crisis, but it is so difficult from what I've been reading to try and get food to Venezuela because the government is so corrupt.
And this is from experience.
I've been to Venezuela.
It's a mafia-style government, okay?
It's all about money, extortion, power.
And it's a dynasty also.
They don't just, they literally pass down the presidency.
They pass it down.
It's like, oh, it's like, hey, you look good.
We're going to form and shape you.
Here you go.
Here's the presidency.
It is a corrupt.
And one thing, if I can say this real quick, is they do something there in Venezuela, which is sick, is that they, the power people, there's more poor in Venezuela than there is any other class.
The government go to those people, give them housing, give them food so they can get the vote.
And so these poor people in Venezuela vote for these people without any knowledge, only because they need food.
And so this government is corrupt and it's terrible.
So basically what I'm saying, if you're trying to get them food, you can't send it to Venezuela.
You got to send it to a near country.
No, we've tried to get food into Venezuela.
The tariffs are, you know, ridiculous amount of price.
I mean, you know, if we're sending $500 worth of food, it's almost a 500% increase just to get the food into the country.
And it's not even guaranteed that it's going to make it to the people.
Yeah.
That means going to government.
You know, I was actually just watching the news, and there's so much going on with Puerto Rico.
It's literally been devastated.
Yes, absolutely.
You know, Geraldo Rivera had been touring Puerto Rico after the Hurricane Maria and said it was a very depressing experience.
The lines at the station for gasoline are just so ridiculous that it exceeds six hours for people to get gas.
Now, for people trying to refuel their cars, refuel their generators, they can only buy, because they're rationing out fuel, they can only buy $20 worth.
Well, I don't even think that's enough to run a generator for a while.
No, I mean, this is a monumental human and environmental situation, just total disaster unfolding right before our eyes.
And I mean, you know, we've the United States has been getting criticized quite a bit for not sending in help faster.
But you have to remember we have had laws in place that restrict certain boats to come back and forth.
And so we are getting help to them now.
And actually, we'll be going to Puerto Rico soon with food as a ministry, as the Jim Baker Show Ministry of Morningside Ministries will be sending food over there as soon as we can.
But it's so right now kind of difficult to fly planes in.
And then when you get on the ground, there's not enough really gas to move around.
So they're struggling with all those issues right now.
I've heard reporters endlessly criticize Trump for his speed, speed of recovery.
Okay.
So the one thing that I know I've learned personally, you know, if you're a lifeguard, if you work for the emergency services, the one thing that you have to do is make sure that you're safe in the situation of helping somebody else in a life-threatening situation.
So the one thing people need to understand is one, there has been troops deployed there before Irma and before Maria.
So people have been there.
They foresaw danger and life-threatening situation.
Matter of fact, Reuters has reported demand for cash in the hurricane-ravaged Puerto Rico is extraordinarily high, especially after these power outages have been knocked out.
But people were already there knowing that the situation was going to get worse.
So it's not like they just waited for the worst to happen and now they're deciding what to do.
We have to remember, yes, Puerto Rico is going through an awful situation.
It is a United States territory, so we are going to send as much help as we possibly can.
The president has made that very clear.
The governor, you know, we've been in constant communication with them.
So we're in communication with their administration.
We're going to send help.
But you have to remember, we also have places in the United States that are still going through their devastation.
Houston, you know, just because the news isn't reporting on every day doesn't mean they're still not devastated.
Just because you don't hear about Florida every single day doesn't mean they're not devastated.
I was just down in Florida in Immockale, Florida.
And I mean, going to Houston and seeing those homes destroyed was, you know, heartbreaking.
And then going to Homakali, Florida and seeing homes destroyed is absolutely, someone asked me to describe it.
I said, it's kind of depressing.
I mean, you know, Houston, there were $300,000 homes, $400,000 that we were saying that were flooded.
But in the place we were in in Florida, there were trailer parks of immigrants who pick our fruit.
And they just had trailers.
And you'd see trailers flipped upside down and you'd see the roofs taken off and just completely ravage their homes.
And these are people who already practically have nothing.
That's right.
And it's heartbreaking to see that.
So we're trying to get aid almost everywhere.
It's like trying to spread all your seed in every different direction.
It's difficult to do all at one time.
It seems like, yeah, to me, it seems like it's hard to keep up with it.
And also, it's like, you don't want to forget about the other person, but you also got to help this person.
So like we usually say here in the show, the church and we have to be as one.
What really do that?
What do you think would be the response if Trump pulled all of the help out of Houston and brought them all to Puerto Rico?
People would be angry at him.
I mean, you can't win in this situation.
He's really trying his best, I believe.
I don't think he wants to see people starving without power.
I mean, he's not a terrible person.
You know, people think he's a terrible person.
Like, he doesn't give a crap about those people.
And it's like, no, nobody should be that awful of a person.
Why do you genuinely think that?
Here's the thing, too.
People are painting this like it's a racist situation.
They're making this mound out of a molehill here.
Not saying that their situation isn't bad, but we've said this a hundred times.
Don't rely on the government.
Exactly.
The government takes so much time.
There's so much red tape for anything to happen.
Even if it was in Joplin after the tornado, we've even heard that you have to jump through hoops and they have to make sure that the situation's safe again and that you're not a looter.
Yep.
That this is how you need help.
You have to sign.
You have to tell them who you are.
You have to show them ID.
There are steps properly that the government has to go through and able to be of help.
Absolutely.
And we were seeing all these natural disasters happening right now in our homeland, and it's devastating.
And we're trying to stretch our help in every single direction.
And it's not helping that we have countries threatening us during this time.
So our president has to worry about a lot of different things.
I mean, right now, North Korea is going crazy.
Oh.
Yeah.
The situation with North Korea, the official Trump statements that he made back at the UN.
Thank you.
The United Nations calling out North Korea for being an uncivil country.
And he called him Rocket Man.
And he called him Rocket Man.
Now we're seeing North Korea saying that that's a declaration of war.
Wait, the fact that he called him a name?
Yeah.
Now that's a declaration of war to North Korea.
And wait, wait, wait, wait.
Here's what I want to say: is if that's a declaration of war from us, what is the last 25 years of North Korea threats towards the United States?
Well, what is Otto Wambier then at that point?
If his words are a declaration of war, what is sending back someone to us?
Dead.
Practically dead.
What does that mean?
The address to the UN that Trump said he's willing to use force against Kim Jong-un if necessary.
So apparently, back to the point, that is now a declaration of war.
And the United States has great strength and patience, but if it is forced to defend itself or its allies, we will have no choice but totally destroy the North Koreans.
Which, I mean, yeah, that's a bold statement, but that's not a statement out of its place.
If North Korea were to try something, we would be forced to help our allies to defend ourselves.
We're also constantly seeing propaganda and videos of destroying the United States.
We've seen him use his own people torture and kill them, yeah.
His sex slaves.
Well, the fact that he's testing bombs and testing hydrogen bombs and constantly launching missiles.
And I, you know, what?
How are those not declarations of war?
Yeah, exactly.
And I think that's, you know, looking at the situation, it's, you know, China is even saying that the North Korean Peninsula is a very intense situation.
You know, Pyongyang, I'm actually proud of China.
Pyongyang, most important ally of North Korea, has ordered North Korea companies in the country in joint ventures with the Chinese firm to close within 120 days of the passing of the latest round of UN sanctions that took place on September 1st.
China actually finally made a bold move.
They did.
They're actually making a huge move.
Because in the past, we haven't been seeing China do that at all.
They went back and forth.
At first, they say, we're with you.
Then they say, oh, no, we can't be with you.
I mean, they went as far as one point to say if the United States strikes the North Koreans first, that they won't side, you know, they won't be neutral anymore.
They'll side with the North Koreans.
I mean, that's a bold statement right there.
As a matter of fact, they have 120 days.
Now, that's coming right up on February, and that's coming up on the Olympics.
So, again, I know we addressed it earlier, but keep watch.
I'm wondering if something's going to happen in South Korea during the Olympics, you know.
And the fact that it's in South Korea is just so close.
They won't even need a long-range missile to do that.
I mean, if they can have a missile to the United States in minutes, I mean, what can they do to South Korea in seconds?
You know, and again, North Korea's gruesome murder of Kim Jong's brother was meant to horrify the world.
And what happened with that situation was Kim Jong's brother was killed by this oil, this VX agent that was spread on his face.
Now, the people that did it were told that it was just going to be a funny joke.
They didn't even know that.
They didn't know what they were going to do.
They're handed this bottle of VX, and they weren't told what it is, but they're saying, hey, go do this.
It's going to be really funny.
But the leaders of Pyongyang of North Korea are saying this was actually meant to terrify the world.
And maybe we should be.
Well, a man who's crazy enough to convince people it's going to be a funny joke and have them murder his family.
I no longer think that's a funny joke.
I am concerned about this man's mental health.
Is he going to try and strike the United States?
All I'm going to say is that you have this guy, this guy who doesn't seem very mentally stable, ruling a country with all these toys, all these bombs.
And at any moment, he could just.
Okay, let me say this again on this subject because, you know, we've talked about this before.
Now, remember Munich.
Munich, we had terrorists take over, take hostage Israeli athletes and held them hostage.
And that become a dire situation.
And I don't think a move like that is outside Pyongyang.
I don't think that's outside of North Korea or Kim Jong-un to try and do something like that.
If he's willing to kill his own brother using a VX agent in international airport.
And in a sense, and in a sense, they kind of kind of already done it.
Yeah, and they're saying with this move, they're saying this is a total possibility.
You know, and that even, you know, look at auto warming.
Auto warmer, yes.
It's a story.
The auto mortar stories we've been following for a long time since the beginning.
We're trying to figure out what's going on with him.
And the coroner's report only deepens the mystery, actually.
The Hamilton County coroner examining Otto Warmer found he had a collection of small scars on his body, but none appeared serious enough to indicate he was tortured while he was imprisoned.
In North Korea, Otto's father, Fred Warmbier, said in an interview on Fox in France on Tuesday morning, Otto was jerking violently, making these inhuman sounds, said Fred Warnbear.
Otto had a shaved head.
He had a feeding tube coming out of his nose.
He was blind.
He was deaf.
As we looked at him and tried to comfort him, it looked like someone had taken a pair of pliers and rearranged his bottom teeth.
So.
And then this article, the parents are saying this was happening, but the coroner and everyone are still saying, well, we don't know exactly if they did it.
We don't know all this stuff like that.
And this is, I mean, we're talking about declarations of war.
Well, I mean, let's talk about the man crazy enough that if he knew he was going to give someone back to the United States of America, do you think he would want this person to be able to speak about what had happened to him?
No.
Of course they're going to do something that he would die on American property.
I mean, I don't want to make it sound like a conspiracy theory, but I think that it was a strategic plan that he would only live a few days and wouldn't be able to talk.
And then so he won't die on North Korea's surface.
Exactly, because that'd be a true declaration of war.
The fact that he's both American.
So they're like, okay, well, we got to get him out of here.
Exactly.
He's got to die in America.
If he dies here, then war has been.
He looks bad.
Yeah.
War has begun.
Yeah.
Well, you know, we're seeing everything happen right now.
You know, the Americas seems divisive.
I mean, I'm talking not just the United States of America, the Americas in general, Central America, South America, North America.
But, you know, then we see North Korea threatens and this and that.
And then we have Iran still that we still have to worry about.
Just because we haven't talked about them today doesn't mean they're not an issue and a threat.
But, you know, where do we find hope in all of these things?
Finding Hope 00:02:16
I mean, even our natural disasters and everything that seems to be crashing into the United States.
I mean, California, I mean, parts of the United States are still on fire.
Where do we find hope in all this stuff?
Is the church in this moment supposed to step up and be the lighthouse?
Well, I think, you know, I was reading David Wilkerson's, and one thing is, you know, you can be a positive thinker, you know, but in these situations, God is taking, removing certain things away that we naturally want to put trust in.
You know, God says you can, or in the Bible, it says you can put your faith in horses, but you should put your faith in the Lord your God.
And, you know, what is your foundation?
I think that's a real question.
You know, is it in your personal might?
Is it in your finances?
Is it in the money?
Which we're starting to see is a house of cards.
In one move, an EMP could go up and just shut down all of your electronics, which connect you to your funds, your money, and which we're actually seeing that happen in Puerto Rico.
People are having a hard enough time to get money over there.
So it's become a cash-based society.
Well, you know, you made a good point.
You said, what is your foundation?
And, you know, that's the question you want to ask yourself today.
What is my foundation?
Because if your foundation is Jesus Christ, if it is God, then yes, the winds are going to come and the storms are going to rage.
But just because you're a Christian doesn't mean nothing bad is going to happen and the surroundings aren't going to be crazy, but it means that you will not be shaken to the point where your foundation cracks because that's the only foundation that you can truly stand on and never be cracked.
And so I encourage you, if you're not a Christian, get in a good Bible-believing church.
Ask Jesus to be the Lord and Savior of your life.
And I promise you that he'll redeem you of every single thing.
So I encourage you, if you want to make that call, you can call Morningside Church.
You can call the Jim Baker show.
You can email us, write us, anything you want to do, any way you feel like reaching out.
But I promise that you will not regret making that decision to make Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior.
And that's the only true foundation we have.
That's the only way that we have security in a world that seems so insecure and so unsecure.
And so, you know, with that being said, we're going to wrap up today's show, but make sure you have that foundation because that's the only place that you will find true peace and freedom.
