God's Mercy and Judgment 00:04:32
Rabbi, share with me, how does what you're seeing today, you're introducing, you're introducing, every time you introduce a book, it seems like hurricanes hit.
Something, always.
I don't know if God uses big winds, big storms to warn his people.
He uses everything.
He uses everything.
All things for good.
But the thing is that we are, the ultimate thing with the harbinger and now the paradigm, which is the kind of the other dimension of the harbinger, it's what's happening.
What exactly is what's happening in America now is the pattern is of a nation that knew God, that was founded on God.
This is ancient Israel, and then turned away and started turning away, accelerating even more and more.
And God warned it.
God sent warnings.
God sent shakings.
God sent prophets.
God did everything he could to wake them up.
He allowed a strike to come on the land in the form of actually a terrorist attack in ancient Israel.
So with America.
So all these things have happened.
America, since 9-11, and that's kind of where we left off when we started going through the paradigm.
And that's linked to the Harbinger.
But from 9-11, when we all remember everybody in America was flocking to churches, God bless America.
But there was no repentance.
And because there was no repentance, there was no revival.
And without, and because there was no revival, instead of getting better, we got worse.
If you look at where we were on 9-11, and it was already going away from God, look at where we are now.
And it has not stopped.
It's accelerated.
God is merciful.
When he warns, it's his mercy.
He doesn't have to warn.
He doesn't have to shake, but it's when you love somebody.
It's like you have a son who is going off, is going to destroy himself, and you're shaking him.
Yes.
Well, God is merciful.
That's why he shakes us.
And so he uses all things, all things to shake us.
We have already been shaken.
Even though the whole election, everything, it was a shaking of America.
And now this.
So the fact is, any nation that has known God as we have and has spurned God and defied God and warred against his ways, that nation is heading to judgment.
That's an absolute.
We're under the judgment of God.
How that happens, it's the mercy that these things happen now.
It's the mercies because with Israel, he kept doing it because something greater was coming.
What was coming was destruction.
So the fact that God kept shaking them was trying to avert that, that they'd wake up and say, okay, we'll come back to God.
That's what that's all about.
And so the fact that he shakes us is a mercy to avoid destruction.
And what he wants is repentance.
Repentance.
Repentance.
He didn't want, you say, we're going to build bigger and better.
That's what the Jewish people are.
And they responded to the shaking.
We're going to come back.
We're going to defy the shaking.
We're going to come back better.
That's what America did.
And that's the message of the Harbinger.
Yes.
As well as the message to America.
And what did America do?
We built a bigger tower.
Yes.
A better tower.
We did exactly that.
Exactly what Israel did.
We voiced it.
We said the same word.
And now America has just turned almost totally away from God.
It has not stopped.
And the repentance is not just for the nation.
It's for God's people as well.
It's for the church as well.
You know, if we were the salt of the earth we were supposed to be, it could never have gotten this rotten.
It could not have happened.
So the thing is, so it's both.
It's a wake-up call.
You know, we need revival.
And without revival, there's no hope.
And the only hope is revival.
And so that, and so God, in his mercy, shakes.
We don't want the shaking.
None of us, in our own lives, most of us didn't come to the Lord because everything was fine.
We came because we were shaken.
So it's the mercy of God with a nation as well.
And so the end times is harvest.
Yeah, as well.
And so the harvest is soul-winning.
So he wants to bring the soul.
Absolutely.
But we didn't turn.
We've turned away more and more and more.
America has become ungodly.
Yes, anti-God.
You know, there is a remnant in America, but the culture has become anti-God.
Imagine if somebody, imagine, I mean, you remember, you're in the 1950s and there's Leave it a Beaver, whatever it is on the phone.
You turn on your television set, instead of seeing Leave it a Beaver, a father knows best, imagine that you could never even have a show like that today, Father Knows Best.
So now you turn it on and someone in the 1950s sees what's on television now.
Instead of what was then, they would think it was the apocalypse.
Days of Desolation 00:00:45
They would think it was revelation because they couldn't believe what they were saying on television.
That's how far.
And the fact that why we are not so shocked as they would be is only because we've been desensitized for years.
But that's how far we've come.
It's become another nation.
But the amazing thing is that that's exactly what happened to Israel.
So the thing is that the same dynamics that we read about the days of Jeremiah, the days of Elijah, are the same exact things.
It was a nation that knew God, turned away from God.
Everything's turned upside down.
Good is called evil.
Leave is called good.
They're persecuting the people that should have been the heroes before.
Now they're being persecuted.
That's exactly where we are now.
So people who, you know, a lot of believers say, you know, I wish I lived in Bible times.
I wish I, congratulations, you're in Bible times.
This is Bible time.
