Guatemala Shaken: Past Month 00:03:04
Hello and welcome to Revelation of the News.
I'm your host, Ricardo Baker, and we want to thank you for tuning in today and watching another episode.
We have some pretty intense topics we're going to be talking about today, not only in our homeland, but also around the world, don't we?
Right.
You know, I think a lot of people right now are seeing what is going on in the world and the United States and are asking themselves, you know, what is going on?
Because, you know, in a quick synopsis, we have fires on the west coast.
I mean, I just saw Los Angeles.
It looks like it's a candle in the wind.
And then you have Idaho having numerous earthquakes.
The super volcano has been pretty active.
And even like recently, we've seen more earthquakes in South America and Mexico.
Guatemala has like over like the past month has been shaken.
And then now we've had within the same few weeks, four hurricanes pop up, which is crazy and almost unheard of to have that many one right after another.
Hitting our coast and around the area.
And it's these moments we are supposed to look and say, what is the church supposed to do in these moments?
What do we do as the body of Christ?
And simply, we just say, how can we help you?
This isn't a moment where we're worried about whether you're black or you're white or you have the same exact theology as we do.
But we simply open our arms and we say, how can we be Jesus to the people who are hurting in these situations?
That's right.
That's what we need to do.
I want to say one thing about this too, is that a lot of people are very, and I am too, because I think at some point you need to be critical of the church, even of ourselves.
But I see a lot of people helping, a lot of churches helping out there and getting criticized for helping.
And the thing is, if churches are helping people and they're giving out food and doing anything, they're helping.
You shouldn't criticize that.
If anyone's helping, you should be behind that.
And I see a lot of people are getting angry with the church right now because of a reason that, and we'll just give a little background before I jump right into it.
FEMA will help and they're such a wonderful organization.
We thank God for FEMA because they do help so many people, but they only help people who are legal to this country, which is understandable because they are a government-funded company or a government-funded organization.
And so, you know, there's a lot of illegal, undocumented immigrants that come to the United States and during disasters like what's happening in Houston right now, Hurricane Harvey, they have nowhere to run to.
They can't get any help.
They don't have insurance.
They don't have these things.
So who's the person that's going to take them in?
It has to be the church.
And this isn't when the church takes them in and starts beating them, but the Bible is telling them that they're wrong.
This is when we say, hey, what can we do to serve you?
What can we do to love you?
And what can we do to help you get the papers?
Or how can we help you start that process to become a United States citizen?
Because I want this to become a country of immigrants, but they have to be a country of legal immigrants at that.
That's right.
You know, there's so much going on right now in current events that it's shocking to see everything, you know, all these things happening all at one time.
North Korea's Hydrogen Bomb Threat 00:15:32
Now, we're going to jump into what is happening here on our own homeland here in America.
But first, let's talk about what's happening with North Korea right now.
Yes, matter of fact, North Korea has been developing a hydrogen bomb.
And, you know, the thing about a hydrogen bomb is it's so much larger than an atomic bomb.
Matter of fact, China has been saying that it is 7.8 times the amount of energy of the atomic bomb that was dropped on Hiroshima in 1945.
Wow.
Now, we actually have a general who's been on our show that has a few comments he's made about North Korea.
And we want to just go ahead and take a few seconds and listen to what he has to say about this.
Just about two hours ago, one of their key officials warning that he thinks that conflict could break out at any moment.
And also the foreign minister warning that if war occurs, he said there could be no winners.
And I think this is something sane people understand.
But what about this perhaps insane leader of North Korea?
Well, he is very unstable.
We all know that.
I mean, this is a guy that's killed his own family, and he is very unstable.
That's why I think that I think China will, in fact, prevail in this thing.
But ultimately, I think China's going to make sure that Kim Jong-un's future is not as the president of North Korea.
I think they're going to remove him one way or the other.
And you're going to see somebody that is more stable put in there because the last thing the Chinese want is 2 million refugees pouring across their border or more American military forces on the Korean peninsula.
Three generations.
That's a huge interest.
Three generations of madness is enough, I think, for everyone.
General, thank you so much for your wisdom and your time.
You know, from the concern of having a North Korea having a hydrogen bomb, China has also been very worried.
They say the mountain in which they have tested the last five nuclear devices may collapse.
Would that be so bad, really, if it collapsed on their head?
No, that would do the job for us.
If it imploded, would that affect their people?
Are these facilities?
Well, that's what they're saying is what they're really concerned about is the radiation contamination on the neighboring countries.
What's sad is we have a leader who legitimately does not care about his people nor anyone else's safety.
And that's scary because he doesn't care if he pushes these things to the limits and they do cave in on themselves and implode and start to hurt people through radiation and probably an initial blast.
Well, check this out.
Yes, there's more.
North Korea is now threatening us with an EMP which has the possibility of killing more people over a period of time.
Well, actually, Mike Huckabee actually said if an EMP were to strike America, that 95% of Americans would most likely be dead within the first year.
This whole thing sounds like Kim Jong-un has read William Forshan's book.
Oh, really?
It does.
Yeah.
You know, that more people could die over a period of time than a direct hit by a hydrogen bomb.
Which a hydrogen bomb is insane.
Absolutely.
And the fact that they have that is scary.
Yeah.
How has this been bypassed over the last 25 years?
Well, I mean, we've had administration after administration after administration that have tried to come to a peaceful resolution with the North Korean government, but we've been unable to do so.
So I'm very happy that we have a leader now that's going to put his foot down and say, if you try something, we will have to retaliate.
Yes.
You know, and this also comes shortly after Fox News put out an article saying that the White House is expanding the power grid war to include banks, Wall Street, and telecom companies.
Maybe Washington has finally started listening to Vincent Peter Prye.
Now, who's Peter Vincent Prye for those who don't know?
You know, he's been around for like the last couple years, even since previous administrations, trying to warn the country that there is a huge overlook within our power grid, that we need to harden our system because if an EMP strike happens, if our power grid is knocked out, millions of people literally could die within hours because, I mean, that could affect long term, that could affect hospitals,
that could affect, you know, the power in your house that keeps your CPAP machine going.
You know, a lot of people rely on medicines staying cold at a specific temperature.
Yeah.
Now, you know, people are saying, well, what if you're fear-mongering about this?
You know, our EMP is not going to come.
You're trying to, you know, make rumors of wars and things, but an EMP doesn't simply have to come from, or, you know, our power doesn't have to be diminished by an EMP bomb.
A solar flare can have the exact same effect, can't it?
Yeah, because we're talking about the Carrington effect, which William Thorshan has also brought a lot of information to the ministry and discussed it with us before at the side effects that it's going to burn up the circuits.
It could literally, what was it, 1918, the power lines all just like lit up the slide.
Yeah, yeah, disintegrated because of the solar flare impacting the earth so hard.
And there's another threat, too, is we know that North Korea likes to hack, and there has been proven facts that there has been hacking in different power grids in Eastern Europe.
And so we know that, and from what I've read, engineers said that it is very easy to hack into our power ground.
Well, they're saying we're still using antiquated systems in our government, and we need to upgrade them, but no one has taken the necessary steps to upgrade them.
So I'm hoping that this administration begins to do that.
Over the past year, we've seen even the NSA, one of our highest intelligent communities in the United States, can't even keep secrets on how to hacking.
We saw it happen with, remember when that hospital got hacked?
Their whole electric system got hacked?
And then there's people that died because it was the cyber attack on that hospital.
And we saw it happen.
Like, people need electricity.
Like, what are we going to do when all of the machines that are keeping people alive just shut down?
Absolutely.
And generators can only run so long.
While we're on the subject of North Korea, they've recently discovered or they've recently had a big blow to something that's very valuable to them, haven't they?
Wait a second.
Check this out.
So Israel has struck a Syrian weapons facility.
This facility was a center for research and development for weapons.
What does a Syrian place have anything to do with North Korea?
Well, it has a lot to do with a lot of things going on over in the Middle East because North Korea and Iran are partners with Syria.
Yeah, because when you see one develop something, it also pops up in the other country.
And a matter of fact, who's also backing Syria?
Russia.
Wow.
So there is a possibility.
And I mean, the United States is backing Israel.
And this has a potential powder keg of blowing up, becoming.
Yeah, I think we know you're going.
I'm feeling like it's like a World War III situation, like prep the World War III situation.
You have a certain amount of powers on this side, and you have a certain amount of powers building up on this side.
And it seems like it's getting closer.
Because we do have a president right now that will, if Israel, if someone were to attack Israel, we would step in and defend them, which is amazing that we have a president who defends Israel.
So the interesting thing here is they're saying this is an indirect attack on North Korea.
But here, a top Israeli security expert has said that Hassan was planning on taking over the facility.
He's a major leader over in Iran.
And what they're saying is if he got control of those weapons, that could mean a lot of people over in the Middle East could be dying.
You know, we saw earlier this year the Syrian gas.
You know, something like that potentially could happen again.
That's crazy that they have this potential in that.
Why would someone partner with such an unstable man like Kim Jong-un?
What do they benefit out of that?
Is it money?
Is it power?
Well, ultimately what North Korea wants out of this is they want world respect.
So they believe, Kim Jong-un believes that to get world respect, you have to have a military and you have to have nuclear power.
So we're seeing Iran, they've been developing weapons systems.
So is North Korea.
So these are two people that we really do not want to have nuclear capability.
I don't think Kim Jong-un understands that.
Would gain world respect if he would start feeding his people, taking care of his country, being diplomatic about things and not being insane.
I mean, honestly, he's the little guy, you know, and the men are so mad.
Like, why won't you respect me?
I'm going to shoot you with my mom.
That's the problem.
It's like the thing is, it's like, get over it.
You have people that are real life people that are hurting and hungry.
Take care of your own people.
Then worry about other situations later.
I've read multiple articles that actually said that the United States could take care of North Korea within a 15-minute time period, which is crazy because I don't think Kim Jong-un understands that if he strikes, we're going to be forced to retaliate because America is not just going to sit down and take what he's going to give us, especially if it's a direct attack on the United States like he's threatening.
I mean, we have so many things from our outside perspective that seem like they're attacking the United States, but we have natural disasters on our west coast, our east coast, our Gulf of Mexico, everywhere that seems to be attacking our country also.
Is this a wake-up time for the church to realize that there's something bigger coming?
Yeah.
Is there something bigger coming?
We have Hurricane Harvey that just struck the Houston area, the Gulf of Mexico.
We also have Hurricane Irma, which is about to strike Florida, they're saying.
Yeah.
Matter of fact, if you're still in the Florida area, you need to prepare for the worst.
Hurricane Irma, this could easily be the most dangerous storm in the U.S. history.
Now, they actually say that Hurricane Irma is stronger than what Katrina was.
And Katrina was our most devastating hurricane to this day.
Yeah.
So, I mean, imagine that just wiping out the peninsula of Florida.
Right now, there's little tiny islands that have already been devastated by this hurricane, and it's about to make contact with Florida.
So, if you're in Florida, please prepare.
But if you have time, please, please, please heed this warning and evacuate.
Go as far inland as you can.
Georgia, I mean, Alabama, Tennessee, anywhere that you can get to, please evacuate as soon as you possibly can.
They were saying even creating a whole, they were creating a whole new category for the storm.
Yeah, that is category six, right?
You know, I was just having a conversation, and William Koenig, I guess, has been talking about it.
And as soon as Jared Kushner went over to Israel, because he went over, and apparently, they were deciding and they were making up plans of how to divide Israel.
They wanted a two-state solution.
Now, when they did that, when he landed, the hurricane before he went over went from a five to a four.
When he got there, it went back up to a five.
Well, it's just like his, it's just like his book, Eye to Eye, where he talks about if we try to divide the nation of Israel, we will have to pay a price for it.
And it's almost always been hurricanes.
I mean, if we keep ignoring the signs of the times, if we keep ignoring these signs from God, what's going to end up happening to our country right now?
Yeah, I mean, also, another hurricanes that are popping up, we have Irma, which is about to strike, and we also have Jose, a category three right behind it.
What is this?
We see hurricane after hurricane, after hurricane.
There's also another one in the Gulf of Mexico.
That's about to hit Mexico.
It's like these people don't even have time to find their umbrella after the first storm.
Oh, don't even have time to even think.
You know, by the time they're trying to, like, maybe, well, let me see what my house looks like.
They already have to leave again because something else will hit the coast.
Well, Mexico actually got hit by an 8.1 earthquake today.
Wow.
Yeah, it was the largest earthquake in over a century.
So now you have this earthquake.
You have all of the devastation that comes with an 8.1.
Absolutely.
And now you have a hurricane following up.
Like, that's terrible.
Like, we need to pray for Mexico.
Why is the earth being so shaken?
Is the question.
You know, we have the hurricanes just really devastating our east coast, our Gulf of Mexico, that side of the country, but also on our west coast, what's happening right now?
We have fires that are legitimately engulfing cities.
They're calling it an inferno.
Yeah, we actually have the ministry has some friends there that had to leave their home because it was getting so close.
It's in the mountains.
It's in the valleys.
It is burning all that Carolina, all that California area.
You're from Carolina.
That's why they said that.
Hopefully they can.
We pray for Carolina too because Hurricane Irma might take away.
Yeah, I actually do have some family members that are on the coast of Carolina that I hope they prepare or either.
Yeah, well, we have a big house where I live, and we've asked some of them to come if they wanted to.
Good.
Now, we also have another developing threat in the United States.
It seems like so many natural events are happening.
Is there an issue happening right now with Yellowstone Super Volcano?
Yeah, matter of fact, the Yellowstone Super Volcano has had swarms that is now one of the biggest on record with over 2,300 tremors.
Wow.
Wow.
You know, the world's most powerful earthquake in a century has also hit Mexico, which is what we were just talking about, an 8.1.
Wow.
You know, the president has said that the president of Mexico, let me reiterate that, has said at least 62 aftershocks.
He's warning, and there could be a 7.2 tremor within the next 24 hours to hit Mexico.
So if Yellowstone is shaken enough by these earthquakes, do you think it will explode?
It possibly could.
We'll have to see a lot more happen though.
I said before when I was explaining, earlier in the season, just talking about this, it's a cauldron.
It's a cauldron volcano.
And what happens is it's a big, giant ball of fire right under the earth.
So what happens is that if enough quaking right there tears just a little thin layer of earth right pops, then it goes like that.
I mean, in a bad way, it's like popping a pimple.
That's what it is.
Too much pressure, it's going to just pop.
Now, there's a part in our Bible that says the sun and the moon will go dark.
And Yellowstone super volcano is an event that could actually make the sun and the moon go dark.
And that is one of the things that has to be fulfilled before the Lord comes back.
I mean, Rick Jordaner said it best.
He's an airplane pilot.
And he said, whenever the gauges on an airplane go from hot to cold, hot to cold, rapidly, that you know that the engines are about to fail.
And right now, you see our East Coast really being engulfed in water.
Yeah.
Our west coast on fire.
I mean, if that's not a perfect example of hot and cold on the most massive scales we've ever seen, I don't know what is, John.
Yeah, exactly.
And we're even seeing in San Francisco, you know, Sasha's out there, and they're seeing 115 temperatures.
Well, meanwhile, here in the Midwest, it's unusually cool.
Reiterate Love 00:00:58
Yeah, it is.
It is.
It's the middle of September now.
Yeah.
And we're having to wear jackets.
Yeah.
That's strange.
That's not like that.
I don't think I've ever put on a sweatshirt before October.
Yeah, I know.
That's strange.
You know, we're even thinking about having a bonfire.
And usually this time of year, it is way too hot to even think about saying fire.
Yeah.
Now, I just want to reiterate one more time.
What is the church's responsibility in events like this?
I think it's just to love on the people.
It's just to embrace whoever comes.
It's come as you are kind of thing.
It's not whether you're illegal or you're legal or any other stiflications.
You just need to love them and help them and provide for them.
Encouragement in Chaos 00:10:09
And especially as pastors and preachers, you need to be warning people and preparing people.
Absolutely.
Not doing these ear-tickling messages that everything's going to be fine.
You need to take up responsibility and warn your congregation, warn the people in your church.
Let me tell you something.
Everything is not going to be fine in the chaotic world that we live in.
But you can have that peace and that security with Jesus Christ whenever you accept him into your heart.
And I just want to encourage you right now.
If you don't know Jesus, please take this time.
Get in a good Bible-believing church.
Ask the questions.
Get in a place where you can be secure in your faith because you don't want these things to catch you unaware.
And they'll only catch you unaware if you don't have that security that is Jesus Christ.
Now, me and James got a wonderful opportunity last weekend to go down actually to Houston and serve the people of Hurricane Harvey.
And we just want to show you a little clip of that.
Right now, we're currently watching the plane be loaded by what is called Operation Barbecue Relief.
They're a disaster response team.
They're loading up one of Gary Haven's planes on their way to Victoria, Texas, to help the people that are in need.
So we just want to go ahead and say thank you to Gary Haven for being so willing to let us use his equipment, like his plane, to be able to do these types of things.
We just got done unloading food with a relief program that has partnered with Gary Haven.
And this is a beautiful plane he's allowing us to fly back and forth with.
And we're just so grateful for that.
We're also so grateful for the partners that are helping us make these people's lives just a little bit easier.
That way they're not wondering where their next meal is going to be.
We're able to provide and support for them.
And we hope that we can do even more in the future with them.
So thank you for supporting and thank you for helping us help people down here in Houston, Texas.
We had the wonderful opportunity to serve these people, to give them food.
And in that video, we were sending food from Houston, Texas, to Victoria, Texas, where we were delivering with Operation Barbecue Relief, which actually started here in Joplin, Missouri, with the tornado, which was the worst tornado on American recorded history.
I want to read a scripture to you guys right now that really stuck out to me.
And it's hard to look at situations like these and think this, but it is the truth because it is the word of God.
It's Romans 8:28.
It says, We all know all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
And also, Psalms 57, verse 1, which says, Be gracious to me, oh God, be gracious to me.
For my soul seeks refuge in you, and in the shadows of your wings I will make my refuge until the ruinous storms pass by.
Wow, perfect.
We have all these storms happening right now, but we have one place where we can seek this refuge.
And not only do we seek the refuge, but we will get the refuge and it will protect us because God is good.
And even Psalms 91, where it says, We who dwell on the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
And it talks about a thousand may fall at our side and ten thousand at our right hand, but it shall not come near us.
Because if you just seek your refuge in God, then you will be fine.
You'll be able to withstand every situation.
And even talking about scripture, actually, coinciding with the disasters of the storms that we've had, social media has actually noticed something that was kind of weird.
It's being good, it's going viral on social media right now.
Luke 21:25 to 26 says, There will be signs in the sun, moon, and stars.
On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea.
Verse 26 says, People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what's coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken.
No, let me ask you a question: why 21, 25, and 26?
What does that have to do with?
I know the scripture pertains, but tell me directly what it has to do with.
Because the eclipse was on the 21st.
Hurricane Harvey started on the 25th.
The flood started in Mexico on the 26th.
I mean, the flood started on the 26th.
And then it talks about the heavenly bodies being shaken.
And we've just seen one of the largest earthquakes in Mexico in a century.
So, what you're saying is that the word of God could actually line up with the times that we're in.
Yeah, it's crazy to see how many parallels we have with the word of God to the times we live in right now.
It was just seeing even small things like that, which is, you know, to a lot of people, not a small thing.
Yeah.
Well, and, you know, as you were just saying, it's like even in verse 25, the sea's roaring.
Yeah.
Like, yeah.
I mean, you can't plan this.
No.
No, and then the earth's shaking.
You know, things like that, the perplexity, just the fact that the earth right now is in its groaning right now.
It's in its birthing pains.
I mean, it's crying out for something.
Yeah, you know, it's being rent.
And, you know, I'm big on social media, like she told me on social media.
It is being, it is being like, they're not saying straight biblical stuff, but they're saying they, the right and the left, everyone is saying that something's going on that they don't understand with all these earthquakes and all these hurricanes.
And I was like, wow, it's like they're actually, people are actually asking questions and wondering why this is all going on at the same time.
Yeah.
You know, there's a verse in the Bible.
It's 2 Corinthians 5.1.
This is the MEV version.
It says, We know that if our earthly house, this tent, which is what they would have housed in back then, were to be destroyed, we have an eternal building in God in the heavens, a house not made with hands.
It's hard to look at these situations and say, yes, I have security and be positive.
But we've seen so many people, even down in the hurricane, we spoke to this one lady who had legitimately lost everything that she loved.
Every picture, her piano, her entire house was gutted, and she had nothing but joy when she was talking to us.
She made a joke and she said, you know, her house was completely gutted.
And she said, you know, I've always loved the idea of an open concept field.
I mean, she's just, she was finding joy in every situation.
She was saying, oh, I would have cleaned up if I knew you're coming.
Yeah, so there's just things everywhere.
As you can see on the screen, there's everyone's, everything that they own is out in the streets.
And she was making a joke, I would have cleaned up if I knew you were coming.
She chose to find joy in the Lord.
It says that in the Bible that he gives us the oil of joy for mourning.
And people are mourning the devastation.
They're mourning that their houses are under.
But it also says the joy of the Lord is our strength.
Amen.
So he gives us that joy to withstand hard times.
Amen.
Please, please, please take this time to prepare.
I mean, it may seem foolish right now.
You said, why would I need food products?
Why would I need water products?
Why do I need these things that, you know, my friends would make fun of me?
My pastors would, you know, not want me in the church for talking about this message.
But as you can see, devastation is coming to America.
Judgment is coming to America.
We can't beat around the bush with that.
And now, let me tell you one thing about the judgment of God.
The judgment of God isn't because he's angry with you and he wants to go and make sure that there's devastation and people lose everything.
But the judgment of God is simply its mercy.
It's giving us another chance before the second coming of Jesus Christ to say, hey, I'm giving you a sign.
I'm giving you a sign.
Please turn back to me.
And it's beautiful to see how many people are turning towards the church in moments like these.
I mean, even events like 9-11, when that happened, the church, I mean, you could see statistically in the numbers, the church numbers just shot up because where do people run?
They may hate the church, but they run to God when they need a comforter because they know that God is the true security.
Yeah, and we have to be that light.
I mean, we were there and we saw the devastation.
We saw the pain and we saw all that.
And we just have to be that light, that lighthouse.
You know, on that note, I was just thinking, you know, Matthew 5, 16 says, Let your light shine before all men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
And I think that's exactly what the church needs to be right now.
They need to be that light for the world, for all these people that are hurting, you know, from these smaller islands.
Some of them have experienced 90% of damage.
You know, the islands are going to have to be reconstructed, these buildings.
You know, I was reading in Antigua, you know, the Caribbeans, you know, Irma just flew through there with winds at 185 miles an hour.
They said it's a high tide right now, that the oceans have been rising up and just outright flooding everything.
And these people have nowhere to go.
They can't even get in there to try and help them to get out of the way of harm.
So at this moment, prepare for yourself, but prepare for other people.
People, this is a moment where you can reach out.
You can help.
If you want, you can call the Jim Baker show right now, or you can go to the website.
You can order food.
You can have yourself prepare.
And you can also help prepare for other people that may be experiencing hard times.
Absolutely.
We call ourselves Christians, and I think that we have to understand what the word means.
It's Christ-eans.
It means little Christ-like ones.
So when we see devastation like this, we have to start walking exactly how Jesus would walk in the situation, embracing all, loving everybody, and just trying our best to be there for people.
Exactly.
When Jesus was here on the earth, he said that I only do and say what the Father tells me to do and say.
And that's exactly what we need to do.
If we're going to be Christians, we need to adopt our Father's ethics.
We need to adopt that compassionate heart, that giving spirit, those things, the traits of him, the fruits of the spirit.
We need to make sure to put on our full armor of God so that we are ready for any spiritual warfare that may come at us.
Because when you try to help the people of God, there is going to be spiritual warfare.
But don't worry, we already have obtained the victory through the cross with Jesus Christ sacrificing himself so willingly for us.
Until next time, we want to thank you for watching Revelation in the News.
Make sure to get prepared, please, today.
If you haven't made your heart right with Jesus, please do so.
Find a good Bible-believing church.
Ask the questions.
Don't be afraid to ask the questions.
