God's Promise of Jerusalem 00:03:04
And I'm really concerned that America doesn't turn its back again on Israel or we don't try to use the land to make bid on, you know, trying to bring peace through giving up the land.
Because I think the land belongs there.
Well, that in political terms has never worked.
You go back to the Camp David meetings that took place between Bill Clinton, Echud Barak, and Yasser Arafat.
Barak, at his own sacrificial efforts, conceded to all of Arafat's desires.
And in those meetings, President Clinton looked at the Palestinians and their leader and said, he's giving you everything you want.
He's giving you two states.
He's giving you part of Jerusalem.
What else do you need?
And the Palestinians turned the deal down.
Why?
Because if they're at peace with Israel, then what else do they have to stand for?
What else do they have to fight for?
What else do they have to continue to create an issue about?
If the problem goes away, then they have no reason to continue to have this forefront.
And that's a political problem that we see not just in that one dynamic.
I mean, why are we getting so much pushback from individuals who are in opposition to the current administration here in the United States?
It's because if we don't continue to have a liberal agenda, what reason do they have to exist?
If we outlaw the things that we don't like, it's one of these problems that we see happening in just human nature over and over and over again.
But the thing that causes Israel to be constantly persecuted and pushed and pressured, again, ascends to the supernatural level where God has said, I've written my name there.
Literally, he's done that.
And he said, this is my city.
He said, march around the walls and tell the next generation God lives here.
When you see the things that happen in the Great Tribulation, the Bible talks about the abomination of desolation.
Well, the Antichrist goes to Jerusalem and he sets up his image on the Temple Mount and He requires that the world worships him in God's city.
I mean, the whole battle of epic proportions throughout history of the world comes down to that geographic location.
The place where Abraham went to sacrifice his son and God went later with his son and did indeed sacrifice him.
This is the place that in the book of Revelation, the final battle lines are going to be drawn, and God at the end of it in Revelation 19 says, hey, I said it and I meant it.
This is my city.
This is my town.
Don't touch it.
And it's something that God emphasizes over and over and over again.
