God's Presence: Boldness to Ask 00:03:50
John, you were talking to me about boldness.
And this is for the last days, too, because we're not going to have hospitals, perhaps.
We're not going to even be able to get doctors.
We're going to have to trust the great physician.
Yeah.
So give me that scripture from John, I think it was.
Was it John?
I just want to say just a little comment here.
I look at this as a prepper subject because we're not going to have doctors when everything comes down.
I mean, somebody might be lucky.
Especially if EMP goes off, everything stops.
Exactly.
But, you know, this scripture verse was given last Sunday at my church.
But I started looking deeper and taking it apart.
And, you know, the Bible is literally a contract that God has made with man.
And I've dealt with people that I've had contracts with, and they don't always want you to read the fine print.
They don't want you to see what your rights and the authority that you have.
And you see, Satan, the so-called God of this world, he doesn't want us to read the fine print.
And as I was reading this, I saw between the lines what God was telling us about the boldness that we can have to come into his presence.
And when I broke it down, it was like, wow, I never saw this before.
Well, read it.
What God gave you.
Read the scripture as God gave it to you.
Sure.
And this is the boldness we have in God's presence.
That if we ask God for anything that agrees with what he wants, that's his will.
He hears us.
If we know he hears us, every time we ask him, we know we have what we ask of him.
Well, you know, the key word here is boldness.
I look at it as a confidence that we can have.
And we have in God's presence.
Well, you know, this is a key word here.
You know, the Bible says, and I don't have my concordance, so I couldn't accurately look it up, but it says something about enter his gates with thanksgiving and enter his courts with praise.
Well, I look at the thanksgiving as prayer and praise as worship.
And when we enter God's presence through prayer and worship, we are literally entering into the presence of God.
And it's when we're in that presence of God, it's saying that we can have boldness to ask because when we're in his presence, he hears us.
You know, so it's almost like sometimes we are just not serious enough about our prayer to really understand that we need to enter into the presence of God because it says, it says, oh, and it also says that if we ask God for anything that agrees with what he wants, God wants us to be healthy.
How many of you believe that?
Yes, I do.
Down here, I wrote down part of the Lord's prayer.
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Nobody is sick in heaven.
That's right.
That's for sure.
And if it's God's will that everybody on earth is just the same as heaven, then we're not supposed to be sick down here.
Now, I know a lot of people, you know, don't like to hear this.
You put me on a guilt trip because I didn't get healed.
But, you know, we need to be taught what our rights are so that we can boldly go to the throne, knowing that we can have confidence and authority that God has given us to ask, knowing that he hears us.
And he says, if you know that I hear you, what does it say?
It says, if you know he hears us, every time we ask him, we know we have what we ask of him.
