Trump's Impact on Republicans

|
|
| Okay, yesterday I ended on question number 12 and it was supposed to go to 20 and I didn't finish them all. | |
| How has Trump changed Republican strategies in confronting the Democrats? | |
| Well, he's done what, again, no Republican would do. | |
| Look with these executive orders. | |
| I mean, he's undoing the Obama damage. | |
| You know, look what he's done for the church community. | |
| He's stood up for religious freedom. | |
| He's encouraged religious groups. | |
| And I think he's affected, there are Republicans he's affected. | |
| I mean, Nikki Haley is chair. | |
| I mean, she's an establishment. | |
| Not only is she an establishment Republican, but she opposed Trump when he was running. | |
| And she's a tremendous voice at the UN for the United States, for human rights. | |
| She sure is. | |
| But until Trump, there was nobody. | |
| These people like Bannon, Miller, Spicer, they know that Trump is at their back. | |
| He has their back. | |
| You name me another Republican who would be president-elect and then have his chief strategist be called a white nationalist, a racist, an anti-Semite, and not throw him under the bus. | |
| And Trump, so Trump has shown that you can take the lightning and survive it. | |
