War Through Words
00:15:31
|
|
| Welcome to Revelation in the News, an amazing news day. | |
| You know, I've been telling you for a long time that this is the hour of the white horse. | |
| This is one of the, you know, the four horses the apocalypse are riding. | |
| The second one is going to be war and all kinds of other things happening, and then there's going to be famine and all these things. | |
| But right now, we're in the horse riding today, the horse of conversation, the horse of a war through words. | |
| And this week we had a war in D.C. | |
| And the story is here about Comey says Trump was not under investigation, but it was a long time. | |
| In fact, it had the number one rating of any event going on in this particular time. | |
| The networks literally took their programming off the air and put this on. | |
| More people were watching probably than a baseball game or a football game. | |
| Matter of fact, they were even saying yesterday that they opened up the bars at 9 o'clock in the morning so that people could come in and get seats. | |
| They were calling it the Super Bowl of politics. | |
| Yeah, and one of the trending hashtags yesterday was actually hashtag Comey Day. | |
| There were that many people talking about this subject yesterday. | |
| And it really was treated like a major sporting event. | |
| But you know, for the first time in history right here, Comey had released his statements before he actually was in the hearing. | |
| So they were able to know exactly, the whole United States was able to know exactly what it was that he was going to talk about. | |
| And he even states that at no point was there ever an investigation personally on Donald Trump. | |
| Let me ask you about your terminal termination letter to Mr. Comey. | |
| You write, I greatly appreciate you informing me on three separate occasions that I am not under investigation. | |
| We had a very nice dinner, and at that time he told me you are not under investigation, which I knew anyway. | |
| That was one meeting. | |
| What was it? | |
| First of all, when you're under investigation, you're giving all sorts of documents and everything. | |
| I knew I wasn't under. | |
| And I heard it was stated at the committee at some committee level that I wasn't. | |
| So that didn't come to me. | |
| During the phone call, he said it, and then during another phone call, he said it. | |
| So he said it once at dinner, and then he said it twice during phone call. | |
| Wow. | |
| But the big news, I think, that broke yesterday was that he admitted that he himself was the leaker. | |
| What do you think of that? | |
| You know, where I grew up at, it's called snitching. | |
| Oh, my God. | |
| And if you snitch, you die, and snitches get stitched. | |
| I was in prison. | |
| Do you know that? | |
| You were. | |
| I never knew that. | |
| I never knew that. | |
| But I'll tell you what. | |
| You know what I was told my first week in prison? | |
| Snitchers die. | |
| Yes. | |
| I mean, this is troubling some because if you're building your whole career, if you're trying to build a case on leaking and snitching, I think we're in trouble in the United States. | |
| A movie producer in Hollywood has just opened a new snitching organization. | |
| It says Michael Moore launches Trippy Links, Trumpy Links whistleblowing snitches. | |
| It's kind of Trump's Trump's name? | |
| Yeah. | |
| Trumpy Leaks. | |
| Well, there's so much leaks about Trump anyway, so he named it at least. | |
| Yeah, I mean, you're building a whole website on whistleblowing, on snitching, and anyone that has any dirt on the administration right now, you can go to the website and leak the information out in order to keep order in America. | |
| John, what about that story that's breaking this week about another girl who leaked information? | |
| She was a, what'd I say, a government contract worker with top secret security. | |
| Her name is Reality Lee Winner. | |
| Yes. | |
| Yes. | |
| That's an unusual name. | |
| 25 years old. | |
| A matter of fact, this has got to be like one of the first times in history. | |
| This is the first person who had been charged with espionage under Donald Trump's administration. | |
| And what she did is she went in, she took a thumb drive, downloaded information, and then leaked it out to the media. | |
| Now, they're saying today there's going to be a hearing and that she's going to face up to, if she's convicted, to face up to 10 years in prison. | |
| They're not even giving her bail today. | |
| No. | |
| So they're finally, I think, you know, she's the first one, so they're going to throw the book at her probably. | |
| Most likely she'll get off because this is kind of what the Democrats are doing. | |
| Here you've got a man encouraging people to leak secrets. | |
| Absolutely. | |
| State secrets. | |
| I think we're living in an era where the truth is no longer valuable. | |
| Monda, did you hear what else she's wanting to do? | |
| She wants to burn the White House down. | |
| Yes. | |
| Unbelievable. | |
| You know, when I was a kid, anybody who did stuff like that, Cora, they would go to prison. | |
| That's right. | |
| That's right. | |
| It's illegal. | |
| And I think that we need a reminder that leaking classified information is illegal. | |
| I think we're becoming desensitized to leaking. | |
| I mean, we're hearing about new leaks happening in the news every week, and then we just kind of brush it off. | |
| Oh, a leak. | |
| This is a big deal. | |
| We talked about it a few weeks ago. | |
| This is part of cyber warfare. | |
| This is the new war, leaking classified information that compromises the security of the United States. | |
| It's wrong. | |
| Yeah, treason. | |
| That's the word. | |
| It's absolute treason. | |
| When you're trying to overthrow the government, when you're trying to overthrow the current presidency, that's treason. | |
| This Comey story. | |
| The wind came out of it pretty fast. | |
| It's like a big hot air balloon and the winds come out of this thing. | |
| But these stories, there'll be another one tomorrow. | |
| There'll be another one the next day. | |
| Isn't that right, Ricky? | |
| You see it all the time. | |
| And you're young, but you have really got into the news like your dad. | |
| Cora is absolutely right when she says that we are becoming desensitized. | |
| And I think that is not by accident. | |
| I think that is very much so on purpose by the left to desensitize two things like this. | |
| That way when big events happen, we'll just brush it off. | |
| Well, here's a breaking news story right now coming across the wires. | |
| Trump impeachment process set to begin as Democrat Al Green files articles today. | |
| What are they impeaching over? | |
| I think we just announced that they don't have anything on him. | |
| Exactly. | |
| Have you guys heard the Alan Dershowitz news today? | |
| If I was an advisor to Mr. Trump, I would say get Alan Dershowitz in the White House as one of your advisors because this is solid information from this man. | |
| When we come back from that B-roll, I have something that I really want to add in on a perspective of what we're seeing in the media. | |
| Oh, you have a B-roll? | |
| Yes. | |
| Yes, we do. | |
| We should roll. | |
| With my friend Alan Dershowitz? | |
| We do. | |
| Oh, any day. | |
| Let's go to Alan. | |
| So, Professor Dershowitz, you said this is not obstruction of justice by the president and that it actually strengthens his position against Dretcher Comey. | |
| How so? | |
| Well, first of all, let's look at the big constitutional picture. | |
| The president could have told Comey, you are commanded, directed to drop the prosecution against Flynn. | |
| The president has the right to do that. | |
| Comey acknowledges that. | |
| He says in the statement that historically, historically, presidents have done that to the Justice Department. | |
| But in the last few years, we've had a tradition of separation. | |
| But that tradition doesn't create crime. | |
| Remember also what the president could have done. | |
| He could have said to Comey, stop this investigation. | |
| I am now pardoning Flint. | |
| That's what President Bush did. | |
| You cannot have destruction of justice when the president exercises his constitutional authority to pardon, his constitutional authority to fire the director of the FBI or his constitutional authority to tell the director of the FBI who to prosecute, who not to prosecute. | |
| You know, we need to get some common sense and some, you know, I'm wondering, and I know a lot of people out there are wondering, where is this presidency anymore? | |
| Where is the honor to the president? | |
| Where is the protection of our president? | |
| And we should be able to have, you know, we elect a president, and now it seems like his power is being taken away by even lower courts. | |
| And I'll even tell you what's going on right here. | |
| What it is is selective memory in the media. | |
| So what they're doing is they're focusing on something that does not exist, but keeps Trump from being productive, from moving forward. | |
| It slows everything down because they keep bringing up this myth of Russian investigation. | |
| Does anybody remember Donna Brazil? | |
| Yes. | |
| You know, they talk about Russian interfering in the election. | |
| Donna Brazil actually went and got the questions that they were going to ask in the presidential debate and then gave it to Hillary Clinton. | |
| Does anybody remember? | |
| Actually, we talked about this on the show back in November that in Colorado, actually, Chris Adams told Fox News that there had been over 4 million dead people that voted in the election. | |
| Wow. | |
| Matter of fact, one happened in Texas. | |
| In that case, he died in 1944. | |
| Wow. | |
| Oh, my land. | |
| Because you want to talk about this Russian investigation and collusion. | |
| No, there's facts right there. | |
| We know that. | |
| But it's all turning out to be lies, just like you're talking about now. | |
| But these lies about the president. | |
| And this is what Alan Dusher said. | |
| He hasn't done anything. | |
| No. | |
| He hasn't done anything to be impeached. | |
| Yes. | |
| Well, Pastor, you ask where the respect has gone. | |
| And it's something I keep saying, and I will keep saying it. | |
| You know, I'm a young journalist, and so I'm noticing these trends in the news. | |
| Perception is becoming reality. | |
| And what I mean by that is you see a headline about Trump being impeached. | |
| Well, the average person that's not versed in the news is going to say, oh, he must be doing something really bad. | |
| He must be a terrible president. | |
| Well, that's not the case. | |
| But that is the power of a headline. | |
| And it's sad because that perception is becoming the truth for the masses of the American people. | |
| And there's a real issue with that. | |
| The Bible says, you know, one of the great commandments that we've outlawed is the Ten Commandments. | |
| One of them is, thou shalt not lie. | |
| And yet, lying, you know, there's an old saying, Winston Churchill. | |
| I was just thinking about it earlier in the day. | |
| But Winston Churchill said, you know, a lie will go around the world while truth is still getting its pants on. | |
| I believe that. | |
| I love Winston Churchill. | |
| Yes. | |
| But this is why. | |
| Here's what the Bible says, Matthew 12, 34. | |
| For out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. | |
| All these lies, you know, they're being exposed, people. | |
| Church people, listen to me. | |
| It's time to wake up. | |
| It's time to see what God's doing. | |
| God puts up leaders and he puts them down. | |
| And so God is putting leaders up and God is exposing those who are undermining our president. | |
| Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. | |
| In this warfare, we're talking about the good person out of the good treasure, what does he do? | |
| He brings forth good, helping people, blessing people. | |
| But the evil person out of his evil treasure brings forth evil. | |
| I tell you, son, the day of judgment, people will give account for every careless word they speak. | |
| For by your words, you will be justified. | |
| And by your words, you will be condemned. | |
| Very, very important. | |
| Life and death is in the power of the tongue. | |
| Absolutely. | |
| I think we're living in a moment and time that perception is far greater than the truth. | |
| And people are justified by the perception of what the media, I mean, if you look at the video that we just saw, even the lighting can portray you as being evil. | |
| They try to enhance every part of the perception to become truth to discredit what the meaning behind the headlines are. | |
| Listen, people, if the church doesn't wake up, if we don't start getting involved in politics and in the social community of what's happening in our towns, they are going to silence us in every single way possible because the perception that is being given out there through these headlines about the church, about the administration, can defeat the truth. | |
| And it's the church. | |
| We had on our show yesterday, the Jim Baker show tapings, David Horowitz, the author of The Big Agenda. | |
| This man used to be a left wing. | |
| Absolutely. | |
| Even in the Communist Party, because his mother and father were communists. | |
| Yes. | |
| And here he was liberal, total liberal, big member, the founder of the new left movement, actually. | |
| Black Panthers. | |
| So here you have this man on our show, the most unbelievable, brilliant man, but opening up our eyes, and he had a word for the church. | |
| Absolutely. | |
| And I'll tell you what, it's time for the church. | |
| David Horowitz, let's just roll this, and then I want to just mention one more thing about it. | |
| Do you have that ready? | |
| David Horowitz. | |
| What's wrong with the conservative people? | |
| We're so quiet and so polite. | |
| Well, there's two issues. | |
| One is conservatives are civilized people and well brought up. | |
| So they're polite. | |
| For example, we'll get to this later, but I have a chapter of my book that's called The Achilles Heel of the Democratic Party. | |
| The Democratic Party pretends to support minorities and particularly black people. | |
| The Democratic Party controls every inner city of any size in America, 100%, and has for 50 to 100 years everything that's wrong with the inner cities in America that policy can affect. | |
| Every oppression, every injustice, Democrats and progressives are 100% responsible for. | |
| And Republicans are too polite to ever mention it. | |
| I don't get it as a former leftist. | |
| The second issue is that, and I'm not obviously an expert in this, but the Christian world, particularly the evangelicals, have turned their backs on the world or had, and were not involved in the fight. | |
| One of the big differences in this election, which I believe is an election to save America, was the role that evangelicals played in supporting Donald Trump. | |
| That's right. | |
| That's the truth. | |
|
Indicting The President
00:08:57
|
|
| I want to tell you, you need to read this book, Big Agenda. | |
| I don't recommend a lot of books. | |
| Lately, I've been recommending more than I usually do. | |
| But this book is the agenda. | |
| What is going on? | |
| What is happening? | |
| And this book, I think right now it's the most important book to read. | |
| You guys have all, everybody on this sentence read this. | |
| And I didn't come here to promote a book today on this news story, but it's very, very important. | |
| And he believes, let me read the first paragraph of the book, okay? | |
| Donald Trump's victory in 2016 election was a political earthquake. | |
| It put an end to the eight years of left-wing presidency that divided the American people, eroded America's sovereignty, diminished Americans' power, and undermined a constitutional foundation that had made America prosperous and great. | |
| Before the election, conservatives were justifiably worried that America's decline was reaching a point of no return. | |
| That says, that's what I was feeling, Mondi. | |
| You guys have all been here with me. | |
| I fought for a year now to have a presidency that change of the guard here in America because I felt that our freedom of religion was in jeopardy. | |
| And it was. | |
| And it was. | |
| And I think that's what the whole point of why the progressives, first and foremost, you have to understand that the hatred that they have in their hearts is very serious towards the conservative movement. | |
| They are very upset. | |
| Beyond that, they have so much hate, David explains in his book here, that a tremendous hatred in their hearts for those who oppose them. | |
| To understand the progressive side, you have to understand that their agenda has been pretty much interrupted by President Trump's agenda. | |
| And this book honestly does more to expose what is going on. | |
| What is happening? | |
| Why was our president on trial this week? | |
| Why? | |
| He was on trial. | |
| No one can understand. | |
| He wasn't at his own trial, but he was on trial. | |
| And Comey was there, and they wanted, they tried to do everything possible. | |
| Indict the president of the United States. | |
| One of the things that can explain why the president was on trial is, can I read you page 28 on the big agenda? | |
| It says, the progressives dreams of a world of political correctness and politically enforced equality where everybody is taken care of by taxing the rich until there's no more rich. | |
| Universities and schools admit no ideas that are hurtful or offending. | |
| Environments have no pollution. | |
| Countries have no borders and nations have no armies. | |
| This agenda is one of the reasons why they're trying to impeach the president of the United States because again, if you come against their agenda, they're going to try to, you know, what they did to you. | |
| They're going to try to what they call infamous. | |
| Yeah, stop your voice. | |
| Absolutely. | |
| So one of the reasons that our president was on trial yesterday is because their agenda failed to meet the standards that they spend so much money about. | |
| And today, we live in a movement that is against, if you're against their agenda, what are they calling us? | |
| They're calling us racist. | |
| They're calling us what? | |
| Deplorables. | |
| They're calling us every name on the book. | |
| Exactly. | |
| And they're trying to demonize everything that we believe. | |
| As Christians, we fall into this category. | |
| Therefore, what are they trying to do? | |
| Just like you talked about, they're trying to take away the rights of the church. | |
| And I never offered much on this show. | |
| I don't usually raise money or anything, but this book, we have rights to this book right now to send it out. | |
| It retails for $26.99. | |
| And anyone you'd like to support this broadcast, you know, our ministry, it'd be great. | |
| But we just send this book. | |
| This is cheaper. | |
| He told me, he said, nowhere is it this inexpensive. | |
| It's $15 for this book, Hardback, number one on the bestseller list right now. | |
| New York bestseller. | |
| You can go online right now and order this book. | |
| Get a copy right now. | |
| Fill yourself with knowledge and find out what this book is about and what can you do to get involved. | |
| He's saying, church, wake up. | |
| He's telling the church to wake up. | |
| Yes, sir. | |
| And he is being very, very strong. | |
| And this man, if you'll read his story and hear about him, and he'll be on my show this coming week, probably. | |
| By the way, this is 30 years of his work, all come together in one book. | |
| He said that when Trump was elected, it was the greatest moment of his life. | |
| And here he was a liberals liberal. | |
| And now he is an ultimate conservative. | |
| Absolutely. | |
| Great. | |
| You know, I found it amazing. | |
| He was even telling us that he was asked to write this book, and he wrote this book in only three weeks. | |
| He started towards the middle of October and had it out by November 9th. | |
| But what he was doing is pouring out his life, his heart. | |
| He'd already lived these decades and decades and decades of living this life. | |
| And when he saw what liberals were doing, and he saw them murdering people even, and shutting their mouths. | |
| Yes. | |
| And he said he saw really the underside of the belly of politics. | |
| He was asked to write this book also, John, to keep it in mind that Hillary Clinton was going to win. | |
| So again, I think this is a book that you must read. | |
| You must have. | |
| Go online right now for only $15. | |
| You can have this book in your home. | |
| So so much is happening, so much in the news. | |
| Even lawmakers don't know what John McCain was talking about at the hearings. | |
| And I'm not going to go into that story, but here's what's happening. | |
| You watch. | |
| If God's people stand up and pray, there will be a confusion of our enemies. | |
| Absolutely. | |
| And only God can save America. | |
| You have a story. | |
| You have to, what you've been saying for decades is pray for the leadership of America. | |
| Romans 13, 1, 2 says, everyone must submit to governing authorities for all authorities come from God. | |
| We have to pray, even for Senator McCain, we have to pray for the congressman, pray for your mayors, pray for the president of the United States. | |
| Even if you disagree on who's in office, our job is to pray for the leadership of this country so they can guide us. | |
| Listen, you don't have to always be 100% in agreement, but God didn't call us to raise hell. | |
| I'm sorry to say that. | |
| God called us to be a peace, to be part of that group that will bring peace into this world. | |
| I came to give peace, not like the world gives it, the Bible says. | |
| So again, I think that the role of the church is bigger than what we think. | |
| One of those roles is to respect the authority of the United States. | |
| Let me read from Acts 42, 29. | |
| Now, Lord, look on their threats. | |
| And, you know, one of the things I felt I should say on this broadcast today, God wants you to rest in all of this. | |
| A lot of people are so upset by what's going on in America. | |
| But it's time to turn this over to God. | |
| It's time to seek God. | |
| He said, now, Lord, look on their threats and grant that your servants may speak your word with great boldness. | |
| That's exactly what God wants us to do. | |
| Too many Christians are silent. | |
| Pastors need to step out and speak up. | |
| It's time now for us to be what God wants us to be because life and death is in the power of the tongue. | |
|
Five Greatest Problems
00:02:47
|
|
| Proverbs 25, 28, he who has no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down and without walls. | |
| Can you imagine? | |
| That's what it looks like right now. | |
| Every time you turn the news on, when you see another protest, you know, whether it's in Chicago, New York, Baltimore, Portland, Oregon, all these things that happen to be going on right now look like just people who've lost control of themselves. | |
| John, what is the you told me there was five greatest problems with Comey? | |
| Matter of fact, I think this is huge. | |
| America is wanting to know right now why was Comey fired? | |
| Let me give this to you really quick. | |
| One, he was in embarrassment. | |
| Why was he in embarrassment? | |
| Because Boston Marathon bomber, the FBI interviewed the Russian bomber, and the Russians gave a warning, a second warning to the Obama administration, but the FBI opted not to do anything. | |
| The FBI in 2013, the NSA scandal exploded on what? | |
| The data mining of American citizens. | |
| It was unbelievable. | |
| Number three, Fort Hood shooting. | |
| The FBI had possession of emails sent by the shooter that he wanted to kill his fellow soldiers, and he ended up killing 31 Americans at Fort Hood. | |
| Number four, Times Square bombing. | |
| The father of the bomber notified the FBI beforehand and they interviewed him and they did nothing about it. | |
| Number five, the Pulse Nightclub shooting. | |
| You know, they knew that particular guy had been investigated and he was even one of his jobs was moving other than Mexicans around the country. | |
| And he ended up killing 49 people, wounding 53. | |
| And then the biggest thing about that was, is when the police showed up to his house to investigate, they didn't lock the door. | |
| So what happened was the media went in, reporters went in, and all everything that they had there that they were going to use as evidence ended up becoming, they couldn't use it. | |
| It painted. | |
| And then the same thing happened in San Bernardino. | |
| And all of these things happened under his watch. | |
| There was reason to fire James Comey. | |
| Ricky, there's a story that was in charisma this week that an evil mega trend will proceed the Antichrist. | |
|
The Great Falling Away
00:01:58
|
|
| I believe the Antichrist is alive. | |
| And so I want to know what's going to be. | |
| I don't even know. | |
| I have not read this story yet. | |
| Would you share it? | |
| It's just that it is pointing out that there will be a great falling away. | |
| And it's almost like a trend nowadays. | |
| It's almost like the new hip thing to do is to fall away, is to turn away. | |
| And the Greek word for falling away is apostasia, which comes from our English word apostasy. | |
| And I love this, what they said in here. | |
| It says, the most sobering thought is that you can't fall away from something unless you once possessed it. | |
| Well, that's something I've been talking about for many months now. | |
| We are living in that great hour of the falling away and the love of many, waxing cold, growing cold. | |
| And that's where we are. | |
| And it's when I had David Horowitz on the show, I was shocked by what he was saying that the church people had stopped talking and they've got to stand up if we're going to defend the gospel of Jesus Christ. | |
| We have to speak up because life and death is in the power of the tongue and we need to speak out. | |
| Our time's almost gone. | |
| Can I give you this last scripture? | |
| I think this is the time and the hour with Joshua chapter 1, verse 9. | |
| It says this, have I not commanded you to be strong and courageous? | |
| Do not be afraid. | |
| Do not be discouraged. | |
| For the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. | |
| This is the time and the hour that the church must be strong, must continue to pray, must continue to fast, and trust the leadership that is before us. | |
| And rest in the Lord. | |
| You're still active, but you're resting. | |
| The Bible says 275 times to rest in the Lord. | |
| That's my word for today. | |
| God loves you. | |
| He really does. | |
