We were recently reminded by Pastor Jim Baker of a prophecy he made in 2007.
And now we are seeing that prophecy fulfilled.
Pastor Jim said the election of Donald Trump caused a great wounding on the left.
And now they're acting as if they were a wounded animal, irrational and dangerous.
The left has waged a war of words on not only the president of the United States, but against Christian conservative values.
And these words and ideas are shaping our culture right before our eyes.
All this and more on Revelation in the News.

And sitting in for Pastor Jim today is the prophet from the desert, John Shorey.
Welcome back, John.
It's great to be here and looking forward to all the things we're going to be covering.
And these are exciting times that we're in right now.
Absolutely.
There's so much going on in the news today, and we want to get your opinion, your perspective, and what God is saying today to you regarding what's happening in the news today.
Now, before we get going, I want to ask you something.
What do you think of the president going to the Middle East?
I think it's a great gesture, you know, because it's telling Israel that we're in your camp.
You know what I mean?
We're in his corner.
And President Trump campaigned.
Part of his ticket was that we will fully support Israel.
And this is following through with what he said when he campaigned.
Absolutely.
And I think it's, you know, a few weeks ago, the president signed, if you guys remember, the president signed a religious liberty executive order.
And I don't think it's a coincidence that after he signed that order, John, a lot of trouble came behind it.
I think there's something to say.
And especially right now that he's heading to the Middle East, I don't think a lot of people are too happy about what's about to happen right there.

I mean, we're going to get your perspective in a few minutes, but guys, this week has been full of news.
It seems like the left has been wounded.
Right.
Let me get you guys to comment on what do you think the left is planning to do with the actions that President Trump has been doing this week.
Well, right now, they are not happy.
They are not happy campers.
And they're putting out so much information right now that I was just reading over and looking at.
And John, I just had read this article that elected officials, Maxine Waters and Congressional Dems, are calling for the impeachment of Donald Trump.
And they even have just posted another article from the Huffington Post that is calling for more violence against Republicans.
Well, you know, to go and call for the impeachment of President Trump is putting the cart before the horse because to determine that we need to have a special prosecutor and an investigation, that's to determine if there's laws that have been broken.
And in our country, you are innocent until proving guilty.
You're innocent until proven guilty.
Yes, yes.
So it's like they're jumping ahead and literally saying, he's guilty.
Let's impeach him.
Let's get rid of him.
But have they come up with anything to say he's guilty of?
No, everything is frivolous.
You know what I mean?
There's no evidence for any of the charges they're bringing against him.
And to be honest, it's like a double standard because past leaders on the other side, on the left, have done gross infractions, almost treasonous infractions that everybody has just kind of swept under the rug, and we're not talking about that.
You know, the left has been wounded.
And the last week, Pastor Jim Baker reminded us that in 2007, he gave this prophetic word with Rick Joyner.
I want you to watch this, John, and I want you to comment about what Pastor Jim said in 2007 with Rick Joyner and Bobby Connors.

The Lord gave me a prophetic word.
I'm going to throw it in and let the prophets try it.
But the Lord showed me there was going to be on the left a great wounding.
And as I'm sitting here, I'm afraid there's going to be a death.
I really am.
I'm very shaky.
You're saying on the left like liberal problems.
The liberal in the liberal world, whether it be Democratic, I don't know.
The Lord didn't say Democrat.
He just said on the left.
There will be a great wounding.
And I don't know for sure what it means, but as I'm sitting here, you're talking, that word came back to me again with weeping inside of me, a great anxiety and pain.
So I'm convinced there's going to be probably a death.
I don't know, but there's going to be a great wounding on the left.
Wow.
John, what do you think that means?
Well, the very fact that Donald Trump, President Donald Trump, was inaugurated as the president, it was like they thought there was just absolutely no way this man could make it to the White House.
And their reaction is just venomous.
You know, it's almost like a wounded bear, as Jim described yesterday.
And I actually believe that this wounded bear analogy, you know, when you have a wounded animal, it lashes out against those who wounded it.
And you see, it's almost like those who put Trump in office.
I'll tell you, I actually believe that we're going to be seeing a great backlash against Christians, against the conservatives who put Trump in office, because you see, if the other side would have made it to the White House, it would be like, it would be kind of a slow burn where they would be coming against shutting down our rights.
But they're so venomously mad at what happened.
I think that when the left comes back, and I believe they're coming back, that when they come back, they're going to venomously look at striking and bringing persecution like American Christians and the right has never seen in this country.
John, where are the leaders?
No leader standing up for the president when it comes to the Conservative Party.
Where is the Republican Party at?
It seems like they're hiding.
They don't want to fight with him or even protect him.
What does that mean when his own party is not wanting to surround him?
Well, I think it means two things.
Number one, I believe that the conservative party, a lot of them, I think, have joined the ones in the swamp.
You know what I mean?
That they're really no different.
They might have a different color jacket, but they're really no different.
Look at how many Republicans didn't show up for their own president's inauguration.
To me, that's a who's who of who's been bought off by the left.
You know, so that's a pretty sad situation.
Yeah, I have two articles right here.
One from Politico saying that conservatives begin to whisper President Pence.
And right now, this still seems like a little bit of a far-fetched by removing Trump because there's not a whole lot on him.
Matter of fact, they're using this scandal or they're calling it a scandal that President Trump had used information and that he had given that to the Russians.
But what's funny is that information basically saying that President Trump is trying to protect Americans getting on airplanes and warning people and even the Russians that the Middle East, they're having issues finding that computers have been loaded with bombs.
And so that's what they're going after him.
But Israel had made that already clear back in March, March 21st.
They had already put that out.
So one, it was already out as public information.
And Donald Trump has the right as the President of the United States to declassify what he deems is what people need to know.
Yes, well, as we've seen from the beginning of this presidency, first of all, the left has been calling for the impeachment ever since the beginning.
And now we're seeing the right calling for the impeachment.
And in fact, this week, they actually took it to the next level.

There was a Democratic representative in Texas, Al Green, who actually took the impeachment order to the House floor.
It has been taken to the next level, everyone.
Can we play that B-roll?
I rise today, Mr. Speaker, to call for the impeachment of the President of the United States of America for obstruction of justice.
I do not do this for political purposes, Mr. Speaker.
I do this because I believe in the great ideals that this country stands for.
Liberty and justice for all.
The notion that we should have government of the people, by the people, for the people.
I do it because, Mr. Speaker, there is a belief in this country that no one is above the law.
And that includes the president of the United States of America.
Everyone is trying to get rid of the president.
It seems like the left, the right, and anything in between is coming against the president of the United States.
Why?
Why is this happening?
Well, you know, I think a good analogy is a spirit that was evident at the time of Solomon.
There was this group of people that were kind of like sleeping in a common hostel, maybe.
And one lady rolled over in her sleep and suffocated her baby.
So while everyone's sleeping, she takes that dead baby and trades it in with another living baby and tucks her dead child under this other mother.
And in the morning, when this mother wakes up and finds out that her child is dead, but then realizes this is not my child, and she spots this baby over here that was stolen from her.
And she said, that's my child.
And a big argument ensues.
And Solomon steps in and says, okay, if you guys can't work it out, then I'll cut this baby in half.
And the one that stole, that was so, you know, that stole this child that didn't belong to her, she said, it was like she said, if I can't have that child, then cut it in two.
And it's almost like the left is saying that if we can't run America, let's destroy it.
And that's pretty sad.
But, you know, I hate to say it, but I believe that there's been a movement on the left to bring America down.
I think the world has been looking towards a globalist agenda, and I think the left's on board with that.
And that would require the destruction of America.
You know, a little later, I think we're going to be talking about, you know, is America in Bible prophecy?
Is America in the way of Bible prophecy?
Does America need to be diminished as a nation so that the globalists can rise to power?
This is some pretty scary stuff.
John, I think that our freedom is at stake here.
Our religious freedoms is at stake here.
Ronner Reagan said freedom is never more than one generation away from extension.
I mean, it's unbelievable that everything that we believe in today, you guys, it seems like it's being questioned.
It seems to be challenged.
Everything that the conservative party stands for is evil.
I mean, who would ever thunk that saving babies is considered to be evil?
I mean, you had something to say yesterday on the show about the babies that we're murdering every year.
I mean, God doesn't wink at stuff like that, does he?
No, not at all.
Could that be part of the judgment that is coming to America?
Well, you know, I was mentioning yesterday is that the church has been silent for decades, all the way back to when I was a kid, and allowed prayer to be taken out of the school.
They let one vocal person take away our right to be able to keep God in our schools and be able to keep morals in our school.
Look what's happened to the kids since you've taken the Bible and taken prayer out of the school.
We've got generations and generations of more and more ungodly kids.
We've lost our moral compass in the schools and in America.
There's a division in this country.
I mean, the Bible says that our house divided will not stand.
We're in trouble.
Everything that we're doing seems to be divided.
The news are divided.
One is pro-life.
Another one is against life.
One's against conservative.
Another one's against conservative.
I mean, everything that we're doing, you watch it on the news.
Listen, if you're a Republican Party and you're a senator or you're a congressman, stop being a chicken.
Stand up for what we voted for.
Stand up for what we're representing.
I mean, there's a man of God right now, and I'm going to let Pastor Jim bring this on the next show, but he said that he's just got an office next to Bernie Sanders in Washington, D.C., and he is seeing right before his eyes the destruction that they're planning for America.
People that, matter of fact, one of the people that represent your state is one of them that is wanting to take down the president of the United States.
So you see how divided this country is, John.
Yeah, before, I wanted to ask you a quick question, John.
But what we're seeing right now is a full-out effort to try and divide America.
You're seeing they don't want America to be united.
It's like the more conservative and the more you dig deep into your foundations and beliefs, the more frustrated, the more angry, the more violent the other side becomes.
It's like they call themselves tolerant, but that's only if you agree with them.
They're tolerant.
They love you if you believe with them.
They champion for you if you believe in them.
And I really wonder what happened to Ann Coulter.
Ann Coulter just said in an interview with the Daily Caller, let it be known, she still has hope in the Trump presidency, but she's preparing to jump ship.
So I think there is a full effort right now.
I don't know if she got scared off after being on the view, that maybe they just intimidated her, and now she feels like throwing in the towel.
Well, you know, a number of the Republicans haven't supported Donald Trump since even before the election, during the inauguration, and to this day.
And Fox News the other day tried to get a Republican, any Republican, to come on in defense of President Trump, and no one showed up.
And you know what this is telling me?
This is telling me that the Republican Party is almost convinced that Trump is going to go down and they don't want to go down with him.
I think they're afraid that if they jump on board and support him, that when they take him down, they'll go down with him, which means they're spineless.
They will not stand up for the very things that their very platform and their very party represents.
Come on.
You know, John, you're preaching in the last days.
You're preaching 2 Timothy chapter 3.
The perilous times will come in the last days.
The word peril is, you know, in the Greek is dangerous, harmful, unpredictable, uncontrollable times, vicious times.
I mean, these are the times that people are being murdered not physically, but by the power of words.
What does the Bible say, Ricky, about the power of the tongue?
There's life and death in the power of the tongue.
And we have to recognize that in this country, that if we don't start watching our words against the other party, even against our own president, that the power of life and death is in what we say.

And that's what's happening, John.
They're trying to kill America with the power of their thumbs and their tongues, because everything that comes out of your mind, you're, you know, typing it in social media.
And these are vicious times that we're in.
But this raises up the next question.
Why do you believe that America is in the way of Bible prophecy?
Could we be cursing ourselves?
Well, you know, if you take a look at the superpowers that are in the world today, all of them but one existed 2,000 years ago when the Bible was 3,000, 4,000 years ago when the Bible was being written.
And in the end times, it talks about the revived Roman Empire rising up to be in power during those last days.
Well, that's the globalist agenda to revive that global world power that we refer to as the revived Roman Empire.
Well, then there's another superpower for goes back thousands of years, and that's in the east, the army from the east.
And the Bible says that an army of 200 million boots on the ground will wage a war against people on the planet that in the course of a year, one-third of mankind will die.
Well, they've been around for thousands of years.
And then, you know, the Middle East, you know what I mean?
Those countries have been around.
Russia, I believe that the army of Gog in Magog, it says an enemy to the far north of Israel.
Well, if you look on your globe and you look at Jerusalem and you go far north in a straight line, you hit Moscow.
And I believe that, well, number one, I believe that Russia, the Russian army, that's a superpower that has a major part to play in the last days.
And they've been there for thousands of years.
Then it talks about a superpower called Mystery Babylon.
And I believe America is Mystery Babylon because it was a mystery when it was put in the Bible because America didn't exist.
And when you read Revelations chapter 17, 18, and 19, where it talks about the destruction of Mystery Babylon, when it talks about the beast government hates this mystery, this woman, prostitute nation that it's referring to as, I believe it's America.
And if you think about it, it's like these three superpowers, the armies of what would be the Antichrist, the revived Roman Empire, the armies from the east, China, and possibly other Asian countries with them.
And the Gog Magog, the Russian army that would come down against Israel.
America stands in the way of these nations wanting to do what they want to do.
So I see the only way around, I've believed this for years, that America would have to be diminished as a world superpower.
And I have thought for years it could happen two ways.
It could happen by economic collapse that we would be diminished.
Or it would happen by invasion or a military action against America.
I believe that we're going to get a bloody nose that's going to take us out.
So like I say, these are scary times.
And you see, the thing about it is, we know that Israel is going to sign a peace with the Antichrist, a peace for seven years that will probably mean that they have to give up lands and maybe give up part of Jerusalem.
And as long as America is watching their back, I don't see Israel giving up anything.
I think the day is going to come and this thing that's happening in the world right now could literally be what would trigger these events that would diminish America so that when Israel is given a peace proposal, they'll have no choice.
America's not going to be there to back them up.
Wow.
Wow.
Well, do you think that there is any alternative?
Do you think there's any hope that if we humble ourselves as a nation, then maybe we wouldn't have to be taken out of the way with a collapse or war?
Well, you know, when God wrote the Bible, he already knew how much praying every nation would do.
And when he talks about Mystery Babylon being destroyed, and if you read in Revelation 17, 18, and 19, part of that destruction comes from man from invasion.
Part of that destruction is coming from the judgment of God.
Yes.
Okay.
So it's like God's not going to change his mind.
He already knew if we would repent.
And you see, America for decades has been backsliding and backsliding and backsliding.
And, you know, we used to be a moral majority of Christians in this nation.
And even the Christians in this nation have compromised our faith in God to where we are no longer truly a Christian nation.
Wow.
I believe what you're saying about as far as if my people, you know, who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I believe at this point that's not going to apply to our nation, but it'll apply to me.
It'll apply to you.
It'll apply to any Christian who is willing to humble themselves before God and God will protect them.
Now, I have a really quick question.
I was just reading in the news.
Two Chinese fighter jets have intercepted a U.S. plane over the East Chinese Sea.
Now, the relationship between the United States and China are very tense.
And Nikki Haley says they're trying to pressure.
The United States is trying to pressure Russia and China into more sanction and doing more with the North Korean situation.
Now, how do you feel that North Korea could take a part in America's future?
Well, personally, I think that both Russia and China are ultimately going to turn against America.
And I wonder, you know, this is no thus saith the Lord, but I almost wonder if they're trying to put the brakes on North Korea and sounding like they're kind of backing up America and saying, come on, North Korea, get in line, fall in line.
I almost tend to think that Russia and China are really not ready to wage that war and that attack against America.

And I think they might be going saying, put the brakes on North Korea, but the day will come where they'll follow North Korea.
Maybe North Korea will pull the first, you know what I mean, button, push the first button.
And I believe that when that day happens, that Russia and China will follow right behind them to be able to have a part of taking down America.
You know, I think if an EMP did strike America, they wouldn't have to do a whole lot later on.
They wouldn't have to send in a whole lot of troops because I believe there's such a division right now, such an anger that, you know, if the power went off just for a week or two, you know, there could possibly be some major casualties here in America itself to where all they have to do is come and clean up the bodies.
Well, you know, the government did a study on the EMP effect a few years ago.
I've actually got a copy of that study.
And in that study, it says that within a year, if our grid went down, the total grid of America, and it is susceptible.
You know, we have a non-hardened grid.
And this study said that within a year, as many as 90% of Americans would die with a total collapse of infrastructure.
No transportation, no food movement.
The water wouldn't be running into your taps at home.
You wouldn't be able to get gasoline.
Cash registers wouldn't work.
Everything, all infrastructure would collapse, and there would be just a mass die-off within a year.
To me, this fits into a prophecy by David Wilkerson in his book, Set the Trumpet to Thy Mouth.
This was printed 25, 30 years ago, that God showed him coming warning signs to America.
And he predicted that we would see events happening in this sequence, that we would see an economic collapse in America, that when it came, there would be no stopping it.
Following this economic collapse would be a time of destruction.
I believe that destruction could be the grid going down, that it would literally destroy, it would weaken America.
Well, John, or energy, if the power to, you know, knock us out immediately.
I mean, just a few days ago, we saw an unbelievable cyber attack that almost collapsed countries all around the world.
150.
150 countries were affected.
John, this is a new kind of war that we're seeing.
This is not the typical war when you were a kid.
This is a new technological kind of war that can immediately shut down hospitals, can shut down stores like Starbucks or any major thing.
We depend so much on electronics that today our enemies are capable of shutting us down in a matter of seconds.
It's a new kind of war.
Well, you know, it used to be that your telephone was connected to land lines, telephone lines that crisscrossed everywhere in America.
Now we're connecting to satellites.
And an EMP that would take out the electronics on the earth would literally take out the satellites at the same time.
And these things would be paperweights.
You know, you won't be able to call mom or dad or anybody else.
And who knows, you know, where this cyber warfare can go.
What if they could start knocking out substations?
And it's already been shown that you could literally have just an accident in one substation and have a domino effect and take out the whole eastern seaboard.
This has already happened.
You know, so if our enemies figure out how to shut down part of the grid, the strain it puts on the rest of it could have a rippling effect.
We need to be repenting before God and asking God what he expects of us in this time.
And we need to be about our father's business winning the loss because that's what it's all about.
Come on, John.
Ricky, you had a scripture there that you mentioned earlier.
Can you read that?
Because this is the hope that we have.
Maybe not as a whole nation, but just like you mentioned, John, the hope we have is going to boil down to individual hope.
Now, what does the scripture say that we must do, Ricky?
Well, it's 2 Chronicles 7:14.
It says, if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, and I will hear them from heaven, and I will forgive their sins and heal their land.
And I truly believe that we do have a hope for a brighter tomorrow for America if we do those things.
We have to come before God.
We have to humble ourselves before God.
We have to pray and seek.
We have to turn towards him.
And the thing is, he will forgive our sins and he will heal our lands.
Too many times we humble ourselves and we submit ourselves to God, but we still want to do the fixing.
And if our hands are in this part of the end times, it's not going to work.
It has to be God who is going to heal this land and forgive our sins because he's the only one who can do it at this point, John.
John, the good thing is that we know who wins in the end.
And that's the hope that we rely on.
That's what we pray for.
