Why We're Asking Questions 00:08:45
If we ever forget that we're one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under.
Where we are no longer a Christian nation.
I believe God is trying to say to this nation, I'm giving you one last merciful call.
Hello, everybody, and welcome to today's episode of Revelation in the News.
I'm Zach Drew.
I'm John Woodolph.
And Sasha's not here today.
Pray for her.
She is feeling a little under the weather.
She'll be right here on set next week.
So keep her in your praise right now.
We're going to jump right into it.
A lot's happened this week in the news.
Some things are changing.
And once again, let's pray that Trump can reverse the curse that has been over America.
You know, somebody in the comments last week, I said reverse the curse.
And they're like, Jesus reversed the curse.
Yes, the curse of sin.
That's right.
Absolutely.
He is our salvation.
That is how we are redeemed.
That is not the curse I am talking about, okay?
We can place ourselves under a curse, and America has been under a curse through bad leadership and poor decisions.
And Donald Trump is trying to reverse that.
And about half of the country isn't currently letting him reverse it.
Now, one of the big things he's trying to reverse is, here's the first article.
Will Trump cancel Obama's bathroom bill order?
This is what it says within the article.
The Trump administration says it plans on revoking Obama's controversial, to say the least, bathroom bill executive order that forced schools to let students use bathrooms of their choice instead of according to their biological sex.
The decision not yet announced would reverse an Obama-era directive requiring public schools to let students use whichever bathrooms they choose regardless of their biological sex.
Schools that did not obey the order would lose federal funding.
Gay and transgender rights advocates say it was necessary to protect students from discrimination, but many say the administration was strong-arming the school system to push an LGBT agenda.
Obviously, hey, well, here's the thing.
It was.
And it was forcing the LGBT six or seven other letters now agenda.
And they were using the public school systems.
Let me tell you why, because it came down to the dollar bill.
President Barack Obama was blackmailing the public schools.
Listen, guys, listen, you don't necessarily listen.
If a boy wants to use the girls' restroom or a girl wants to use the guy's restroom, I am suggesting you do this.
Now, you don't have to do what I say, okay?
I'm not strong-arming you here, but you're going to lose all federal funding.
Okay, so that is blackmail at its finest.
Because let me tell you right now, public schools cannot operate without federal funding.
I mean, let's just use one example.
How would the kids get to school?
There would be no buses.
I mean, so he was blackmailing the public school system.
Here's a question I have.
You know, how far does this reach go?
Once we go over this edge, if we go over this edge, where does it stop?
They're even talking, it's not just bathrooms, but it's going to go into locker rooms.
And if you don't mind, Carl Tuckerson on Fox News last night had a very intriguing interview with Zach to go and look it up.
I'm telling you that right now.
Yes, it was good.
Matter of fact, if you want to go look it up, look at Carl or Tucker Carlson destroys the liberal on transgender bathrooms and basically pick your own gender issue, Fox News.
So look that up.
But in their interview, they brought up many really good questions, but they really posed those questions as not being serious and almost like it's a joke, like we're not enlightened people.
We're not very intelligent for even asking those questions.
And those questions, one, so as you were discussing, yesterday the Trump administration retracted the ruling saying these are state issues and should be should not be decreed by 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
Which is constitutional, once again, by President Brock saying, listen, according to the Constitution, I don't have the right on telling every state what to do.
So you don't have to do what I'm telling you to do.
But once again, you're going to receive zero money from the government.
That was blackmailing, and that is communism.
That's what it was.
He was basically just completely forgetting something called state sovereignty, state sovereignty, that Washington doesn't ultimately rule over the state's decisions.
Well, let me just say this, too.
You're right.
You're absolutely right.
But the guy that his interviewee went on social media basically saying he's a monster and that he's attacking the LGBT community.
How is he attacking the LGBT community by just saying, okay, the state is the one who's going to make the decision on that?
He's not necessarily going for or against.
He's saying this is not a decision for the federal government to make.
It's a state decision.
So I don't see where they're coming out with that.
And one of the questions that they ask is, you know, basing this on science, because this is going into a direction that I can choose what I am, and based on what I declare verbally, that should, that's going to basically overwrite science and biology.
And I know that Tucker Carlson, he requested of the fellow that he was interviewing, please, I'm not trying to be, you know, sarcastic here.
I'm actually asking a legitimate question.
Will you show me one accredited scientist from a good American school that there is any science whatsoever out there that has been proven that you can choose your sex?
It's not there.
It's just frankly not there.
Well, they even go to project it like even posing that question is some pseudo-science in that you should it's like somehow it's small-minded to ask where's the science backing this up.
Now, you brought, and I'm going to let you tackle this one because this was shocking.
You brought to my attention actually this morning something that one of the anchors from CNN said.
Can you talk about that story?
This morning we found CNN's Chris Kumo.
Thank you, James Amons.
Chris Kumo said on Twitter, girls not wanting to see the male body part in locker room.
His response is, parents should teach tolerance.
Now, he goes in on Twitter saying, I wonder if she's the problem or her overprotective parents or intolerant dad.
Please teach tolerance.
Now, one.
Can you just, we're going to just stop that?
You're going to understand what that just said.
I mean, I'm not even entirely comfortable saying this article, but it's what it said.
From the Washington Free Beacon, not wanting, from CNN, okay, not wanting to see male genitalia in a locker room.
And the response to that is you need to teach your girls in a locker room tolerance.
You need to be taught.
Can you imagine having a young girl come freaking out because what just took place in locker room?
And then the dad's saying, well, you need to learn tolerance.
I mean, where does it stop?
And that's the question.
Because it doesn't stop.
That's the thing.
And in times, light is going to get lighter and the darkness is going to get darker.
It doesn't, it's going to continue on that realm, in that sphere.
It's going to get darker.
And they proved in the interview that there is no response for these questions.
They don't even have an answer for it yet.
Wow.
Incredible.
John McCain's Unauthorized Presidency 00:05:37
All right.
Let's move on to some other interesting news that took place this week.
John McCain makes a secret trip to Syria in miss of the U.S. assessment of it.
Says Senator John McCain secretly traveled to northern Syria last weekend to speak with American military officials and Kurdish fighters at the forefront of the push to drive Islamic State out of their de facto capital of Raqqa, according to U.S. officials.
Now, okay, this is weird.
He is not the president, but yet he is acting like he is the president of the United States.
While you have Trump and his cabinet and his administration figuring out how to handle the Syrian issue and also how to figure out ISIS and the whole region, you have John McCain going rogue and having secret meetings with the leaders over there.
I mean, this guy is literally acting like he is the president of the United States.
Now, this further confirms, I actually listened to a broadcast recently that hinted at this, and I completely agree.
This further confirms conspiracy theories that Obama has a shadow government and he's working a shadow cabinet from Washington, D.C.
I mean, why didn't the guy just get out?
Why did he move a few blocks from the White House?
I have a thought on that.
If trust is so crucial in the Oval Office, which I think trust is of utmost importance in the Oval Office, then why did Flynn resign?
Why am I bringing this back to Flynn?
Well, the only thing he did was he gave incomplete information to Vice President Mike Pence on a conversation that he had with the Russian ambassador.
I don't know.
I guess swearing on the Bible doesn't mean a whole lot anymore.
Yeah, I know, right?
And so let's go back to that.
You know, I don't think we've heard the last from Obama.
You know, you see these villains, these Marvel movies.
I enjoy a good superhero movie.
And at the very end of the scene, you think that the villain is gone, what usually happens to set you up for the next movie?
I don't know where there's the extra scenes at the very end after the credits, and you realize, uh-oh, the villain is still breathing.
Uh-oh, we thought we had heard the last.
I think that's the type of situation we're dealing with with Barack Obama.
Us as conservative Christians, we thought, praise the Lord, the villain is gone.
But then the credits are rolling, the new administration is coming up, and then all the sidelines, he's still active and active in the same city, working a shadow government, a shadow cabinet, using people like John McCain.
But John McCain, he's a good Republican.
You know what's interesting, too?
To go along with this, there's another, you just brought up something that really intrigued me because they just found out Barack Obama, before his last day, invested $14 million into what?
Weapons aid to the Middle East.
All of a sudden, they're now investigating a deal for $14 million that just sent airplanes overseas, weaponized, like basically weaponized dust crop.
Well, and also hours before he ended his presidency on January 20th, before Donald Trump was officially sworn in, he gave $221 million to the Palestinians.
How many more times do you think we're going to keep hearing on his last day?
Yeah, I know, right?
Something says that.
I don't think we've heard the last.
And like I said, you think, well, John McCain, why John McCain?
Like, you know, I don't necessarily think you're right there, Zach, because he's a good Republican boy.
First of all, I heard Rick Wiles recently say, conservative is not the same as righteous.
I can't say, oh, I'm a conservative.
That means I'm righteous.
He might be a conservative Republican, but that does not mean by any means he's a righteous individual.
Now, well, John McCain, he's still a good Republican.
Hello.
Well, guess what?
He's been funded by George Soros.
We need a spit bucket right now.
He's a spit bucket right here, right?
I mean, every time we just mention the name of George Soros, there's just spit, right?
I mean, that is what we're dealing with right now.
This evil, socialistic man who seems to have a dog in every fight around here.
And there's the story.
Records show that Soros funded Paul Ryan, Marco Rubio.
That one kind of hurt me a little bit.
Jeb Bush, John McCain, John K. Seek, and also Lindsey Graham.
So basically, the real, true Christian conservatives in America, the men that were like, what is going on with Lindsey Graham?
Why is John McCain acting like that?
Why is Paul Ryan doing the things he was doing?
Basically, if we could write a list of the Republicans we really didn't trust, well, here it is.
Every single one of them has been funded by the evil George Soros.
Wow.
Is this not great?
I mean, we're just living in some shocking times.
Let's move on to more news.
All right, here we go.
Atheist group convinces Virginia Town to cancel field trip to Ken Ham's Ark Encounter.
Faith Requires Freedom 00:09:37
Did you see that article, John?
Did you see this happened just last week?
It says within the article.
A prominent professing atheist organization has convinced the Parks and Recreation Department of a Virginia town to cancel an upcoming field trip to Ken Ham's Ark Encounter and Creation Museum in Kentucky by asserting that the trip is an unconstitutional government endorsement of religion.
Okay, well, let's just kind of dissect this for a moment.
Well, first of all, what that means is any schools within that school district can no longer go and see Ken Ham's Ark Encounter, which is a real-life life-size portrayal of what the Ark, according to Genesis, looked like.
And it's an incredible thing.
I haven't been there yet, but I look forward to going there.
So now you have, well, now the kids can't even go and learn about this.
But here's the crazy flip side to this.
We have read you several stories over the past year to year and a half of dozens of schools that have been teaching their students the five pillars of Islam.
They've been teaching their middle school students the five pillars of Islam.
Where is the freedom from religious foundation then?
Once again, Muslims have more freedom than Americans do, unfortunately, in America.
Whenever you have a Muslim create a clock that looks like a bomb, he's invited to the White House.
And you have a Christian that eats a Pop-Tart into the shape of a firearm and he suspended it.
I read a story a few months ago about this fifth grade student that was banned from reading his Bible, an 11-year-old, 10 or 11, banned from reading his Bible in the school's free reading hour.
Free reading hour.
Free reading hour, and he couldn't read his Bible.
Can you just imagine the headlines if they told a fifth grade Muslim student, you can't read your Quran in free reading hour?
This is what we're going.
This is what's happening right now.
And it's time for Christians to take ground.
It'd be UC Berkeley would probably have a fit over it, and they'd start burning cars and property in Starbucks parking lots.
Yeah.
But, you know, I liked what Eric Mantaskis wrote.
I mean, I really encourage anybody out there to pick up this book by Eric Mantaskis, which both Zach and I have read.
It's called If You Can Keep It.
Now, he said something very interesting.
He said, faith requires freedom.
For many, the idea of faith and freedom working together brings about a cognitive dissonance.
That's because in America today, we have stepped back to a culture situation less like the early times in our country and more like the France of Tocqueville's day, in which religion and freedom were thought to be the bitterest enemies.
Absolutely.
You know, within that, he actually dedicates a lot of time to Alexis de Tocqueville, all right, which was a French aristocrat.
And he came here with a buddy to actually look at the jail systems because we were running them flawlessly.
And he ended up saving for an extended period of time, absolutely marveling at the democracy of America.
And for those historians, he actually went on to write The Democracy in America, Volume 1 and Volume 2.
An incredible man.
But he saw, he's like, what was the pillar?
What was the foundation of what made the democracy in America so great?
It was Christianity.
Christianity.
And he understood, wow, this is an interesting thing, given all this freedom to the people, right?
This was unheard of at that time, this democracy.
And here's the thing: is that he actually said, if the moment that they loosen the tie on morality is the moment that judgment basically is coming to America.
I'd even call it a God consciousness, you know, that thing in your heart that says whether you should or shouldn't do, which I think we're seeing right now in America, everybody is going to and fro trying to get rid of the rights and the wrongs.
How much can we roll things backwards to where everything is okay?
You know, there is nothing wrong.
You can use this bathroom.
You can use that bathroom.
It doesn't matter.
But that's just going to open the door to more issues.
That's right.
And another similar article here: Atheist Forces School to Drop the Ten Commandments.
And it was a monument by the school.
And it wasn't even a foundation.
It was one singular atheist.
You could find one atheist to fight.
Couldn't you find two Christians to fight and you win?
I mean, why have we lost our backbone in America?
Here's a couple more articles I think you need to know about.
We only have about nine minutes left of today's program.
Pope appears to back anti-Trump protests in letter condemning populism.
I mean, this guy is just so liberal.
He says the pontiff tells activists he supports their fight against gutting of democracies in a letter that appears to take aim at our U.S. president.
Pope Francis has offered his support to grassroots organizers and activists who are fighting for social justice, migrants, and environmentalism, saying he reaffirms their choice to fight against tyranny amid a gutting of democracies.
So where are these riots taking place right now in the world?
It's in America.
And these activists, activists, okay, these are not even protesters.
It's not protesting.
It is rioting, okay?
And once again, I think that the Pope is just trying to push his globalistic type of mentality.
And here's another article.
Talk about this article right now.
This is a crazy one.
Okay.
Pope Francis, Muslim terrorism does not exist.
On what planet?
I guess I didn't hear it.
I guess I should have read it through.
I don't know what planet he was talking about.
Yeah, earth.
Earth.
It's on planet Earth.
Okay, he's saying on earth.
Yes, so I don't know where this guy gets off, okay?
Muslim terrorism does not exist.
In an impassioned address, Pope Francis denied the existence of Islamic terrorism while simultaneously asserting that the ecological crisis is real.
Christian terrorism does not exist.
Jewish terrorism does not exist.
And Muslim terrorism does not exist.
They do not exist.
He goes on by saying again, Francis said in a speech to a world meeting of populist movements.
No, he went on to say no people is criminal or drug trafficking or violent, Francis said, while also suggesting, as he has on other occasions, that terrorism is primarily a result of economic inequalities rather than religious beliefs.
That's right, Pope.
So let's just put us all on the same playing field.
And we all have the same opportunities.
That's once again, he's promoting a socialism.
Now, here's the thing.
Okay, so terrorism is not reserved to Christianity, Judaism, or Christianity.
Are there bad Christians?
Are there bad Jewish people?
Yeah.
Are there bad Muslims?
Uh-huh.
Right.
Okay.
So let's just talk about Christians and the Islamic community really quickly.
If we, as Christians, if we emulate Jesus, we love.
We forgive.
We're strong individuals.
We live holy lives.
That is what we look like.
If true Christians are being true Christians, emulating Jesus, it's a wonderful world.
Okay, well, not all Muslims are bad.
Okay, fine.
I agree with you.
All Muslims are bad.
And there are a lot of Muslims that aren't extremists.
But the Muslims that aren't extremists aren't true Muslims.
In the same way, you have a lot of people that say they're Christians, but they're not real Christians, because why?
They're not emulating Jesus.
So the Muslims that aren't extremists, they're not emulating Muhammad.
They're bad Muslims.
Because the real Muslims that adhere to the Quran and the Hadiths and they emulate their prophet or whatever you call him, Muhammad, what do they do?
If they actually, well, they marry six-year-olds.
They rape women.
They cut people's heads off.
So to say that it's not reserved to a particular religion, pick up the book and read it.
I mean, this is just absolutely crazy.
Wow.
Any thoughts?
Are you just kind of dumbfounded right now?
I'm just like, you know what I mean?
Like, sometimes I want to believe that I just want to drop my mouth open.
It's hard to believe.
Incredible.
So it looks like.
It's from the Pope himself.
I know, right?
So it looks like we have just a couple of minutes left of today's show, five minutes.
Last Revelation 00:07:03
And as the producer just showed me, I want to give a special announcement.
Wonderful time.
This is a year of transition.
And it's a wonderful thing.
I am so excited right now.
I want to go ahead and let the audience know that this is going to be my last revelation in the news show.
And I want to let the audience know, I've been doing this now for over a year.
I was a starting host of Revelation of the News.
And I don't know if you noticed, but John is one of my best friends.
And John, along with Sasha, are bringing in an incredible co-host.
And you'll see this person in just a week or two.
And they're going to take the reins here.
I felt about six months ago what I really refer to as a holy movement, a holy transition.
And I did a lot of praying, a lot of fasting.
And I didn't want to go.
At the same time, I knew it was time for me because this place has been my home.
And I went and talked to my mentor, Pastor Jim Baker.
And it was the most incredible meeting you can ever imagine.
I walked in and I told him that I felt the Lord was transitioning me out.
He just looked at me with a smile.
He goes, I know.
The Lord's already told me.
I said, what, Pastor?
I said, how long?
When did the Lord tell you?
He said, about six months ago.
I said, you knew before I knew, you know?
Well, that's how it actually happens because he has been my covering.
And him and Mama Lori have been so gracious.
And I'm just so thankful how understanding.
And he gave me his, I said, Pastor, can I have your blessing?
He said, oh, absolutely.
Because I believe the way you leave somewhere is the way you're going to enter somewhere else.
I'm going to say that again.
The way you leave somewhere is the way you enter somewhere.
And I'm so glad that it's been such an incredible transition.
And I just want to say that, you know, Pastor Jim, when I first got here, he said, Zach, don't worry how you're going to get.
He said, I believe the Lord's called you to the top of the mountain.
He goes, but don't ever worry about how to get there.
I said, what do you mean?
He goes, just do this.
This is what I did.
He said, just say yes, God.
Yes, God.
Yes, God.
And he just kept saying over and over again, yes, God.
Yes, God.
Yes, God.
And whenever the Lord asks you to do something, no matter how difficult or how easy, you always have got to say yes, God.
And as the course of your life goes on, you're going to look around and say, how did I get here?
Wow.
And it's simply from saying yes, God.
And the Lord started moving on my heart a couple of months ago.
And even though it was difficult, I said, God, you know, I have it good here.
You know, I have a wonderful relationship, great friends, and I have an awesome TV show.
But he said, now's the time.
And the words of Pastor were just in my head, my head.
Yes, God, yes, God.
I want to say one more thing.
I want to say that one of the things that Morningside has been for me, and Pastor Jim and Lori Baker, I got here when I was 18, green as spring.
What 18-year-old on fire for the Lord that wants to change the world is not going to fail.
He's learning how to walk.
How is he not going to fall on his face?
And I fell on my face several times when I was 18, 19, 20 years old.
And most ministries would say, what, you're a man of God?
No, you're not a man of God.
Get out of here.
You made a single mistake.
You're not called.
But not Pastor Jim and Mama Laurie.
Not them.
Every time I fail or made a mistake, they were right there to pick me back up again and say, I believe in you.
You can do this.
You were called and chosen.
And they created during this almost eight years, a safe environment for me to fail.
And I believe that, and now that I've learned how to walk, sure, I'm going to fail sooner or later in my life.
You know, we all, a righteous man falls seven times but gets back up again.
But it's the training I learned here.
And I'm telling you right now, whenever I'm 67 years old, I'm always going to be looking back at my time at Morningside and saying it's because of Pastor Jim Baker and Lori Baker that I am here doing what I'm doing today.
He has been the most gracious.
I don't care what you say.
about him.
I read the stories and we have a lot of people that love the ministry and we have some that don't believe in our ministry.
But Pastor Jim has truly been the most Jesus-like example of displaying grace in a hard, called, legalistic world that I have ever seen.
He has been an example of grace.
And Mama Laurie, she has always sought to protect me.
And she's been like a lioness over my life.
You know, just anybody, you know, she was always a protector because they saw something within me.
And now's my time.
I went through the school.
I was hired on here.
I've been working here for a few years now.
And now it's my time to spread my wings and fly.
And I love Morningside.
I'm Pastor Jim and Mama Laurie and you, John.
I'm going to miss you, man.
And it's funny that where we're ending is where we started.
You know, it's right.
In 2009, when I first got here, I did a young, my very first show I ever did, ever, was called Safe Lock.
And I was the host of a one-hour program every day, Monday through Friday.
What in the world?
I didn't know what I was doing.
It was called Safe Lock, an awesome young adult show.
And it was actually done in this room, this very room.
And since then, I've done five or six other TV shows.
And the last one I do, it's like a full circle.
I'm back in the room where Safe Lock all began, just on the other side of the room.
You know, took eight years to go from that side of the room to this side of the room.
But I'm just so excited.
And if you want to keep up on what I'm doing and what my next move is, I'll keep you updated on my Twitter.
So just follow me on Twitter and I'll be giving my followers their updates.
But I'm excited.
The year, it's a year of transition.
And you have been in a place where God has been molding and shaping you.
I know I have.
But one day it's time for God to say, okay, now it's your turn to fly.
This is the year for Christians to take hold, to take ground, to be victorious in the world.
Do this.
Do it with me.
It's an exciting time.
I really love you guys.
And listen, continue to make Revelation the news one of your homes for alternative news.
