Words That Change Atmospheres

| What I said a moment ago, the war is for words. | |
| It always has been for words. | |
| Words not only change your present atmosphere, they establish the pattern for your future. | |
| Words, when you open your mouth and bless, changes the atmosphere and brings the anointing of God. | |
| Yes. | |
| But we have to understand God is a God who thinks in the generation. | |
| One of the greatest problems in the teaching of giving is that if I give $100 today, God is going to give me $1,000 on Friday. | |
| Now, if I need that, I've seen God do that. | |
| But God thinks in generations. | |
| When you talk about Pastor Tommy Barnett, the other day he called me, we were talking about what's happening in Phoenix and the blessing and the new properties and all that's coming. | |
| And on the phone, I said to Pastor Tommy, I said, Pastor Tommy, do you know this is because of your dad? | |
| Right. | |
| And Pastor Tommy said, what does that mean? | |
| I said, your dad was in Kansas City and did what at that time was almost rejected by the church. | |
| It was. | |
| He loved children's church. | |
| Yes. | |
| Now, we can't even comprehend what I'm getting ready to say. | |
| But a few generations ago, churches did not like children's church. | |
| That's right. | |
| They thought it was immature. | |
| And Pastor Tommy's dad went out and got kids and put them on buses. | |
| Bought a bus. | |
| And literally filled the place. | |
| And almost got kicked out of his church because he bought a bus to pick up what they said were dirty kids. | |
| Dirty kids. | |
| You know, if you're going to have, listen, a stall, the Bible talks about a stall. | |
| If you have a clean stall, you have a sick farm. | |
| Do you get that? | |
| If you have a lot of livestock, you're going to have a lot of mess. | |
| Poop. | |
| Can I put it that way? | |
| You guys aren't even getting it. | |
| If you have people, you have problems. | |
| Yes. | |
| Go ahead. | |
| Well, when you understand with Pastor Tommy, the anointing of what his father had, as his father blessed him, as his mother blessed him, increased in him. | |
| And now you see, here's Luke and Matthew and Christy. | |
| Yes, amazing. | |
| And here's Pastor Tommy at the height, one of the 10 most respected leaders in the entire world. | |
| Absolutely. | |
| Turning it over to Luke. | |
| And a man who never turned his back on Jim Baker. | |

| I stepped into his pulpit. | |
| It was the first time out of prison. | |
| I was hiding back in the dark, afraid to go out because I was afraid church people would spit on me. | |
| Church people can be the meanest people on earth. | |
| And it's time to get right with God. | |
| It's time to love these people. | |
| And Tommy Barnett introduced me out of prison at pastor school in front of 10,000 preachers. | |
| They were outside as well as inside. | |
| They were out watching on big screens outside. | |
| And I'll tell you, it was revival happened that night. | |
| Lori was there, and I didn't meet her for four years after that. | |
| That's right. | |
| I saw her, though, and I fell in love with her on the stage a minute I saw her. | |
| And God gave her to me four years later. | |
| Can you believe that? | |
| Absolutely. | |
| But now what has happened in the next generation is, and what you just said is proof of what I'm talking about. | |

| He blessed you. | |
| Yes, he did. | |
| Tommy Barnett spoke the word over a broken, wounded human being. | |
| You never thought I would preach again that day. | |
| I was over. | |

| He changed the atmosphere. | |
| And spoke not only in that moment, but to the future generations of what was still inside of Jim Baker. | |
| That's right. | |

| And what we do not understand today is we talk about free speech. | |

| I want you to have your free speech, as long as your free speech doesn't contradict my speech. | |
| Yeah yeah, the press wants its free speech, but they don't want the president to have his free speech, right? | |

| We live in a world today where we are in such conflict that only my opinion and what I've learned is my opinion doesn't really count that much. | |
| But when I open up and understand the purpose for my life and the purpose was every time God spoke it changed the atmosphere. | |
| Yes, and in Genesis, when you watch as he blesses on the fifth day, the blessing is for the power of reproduction Reproduction. | |
| Everything he had created, but when he on the fifth day began to bless, he was saying, Hold it. | |
