Deliverance in Ephesus

| So when you were talking about how they're saying, if you interview the people that are in Washington, some are saying one thing they're about, this is about immigration, or it's about taking my rights away, or it's about abortion, or it's about Trump's misogynistic handling of women. | |
| Oh, yeah. | |
| They all had different opinions. | |
| Now, listen to this. | |
| When Paul was in Ephesus, see, what I believe is happening is there was a deliverance of the nation from the spirit of witchcraft in the Oval Office. | |
| The spirit of witchcraft was in the Oval Office. | |
| It was about to intensify to a higher level demon principality. | |
| And God came along with a wrecking ball, shocked everyone. | |
| The church cried out for mercy. | |
| Bam. | |
| God knocked that spirit out. | |
| And what you're looking at is the manifestation of an enraged demon through the populace. | |
| So this is what happened in Ephesus when there was a move of God in Ephesus. | |
| The whole city was filled with confusion. | |
| And they rushed with one accord. | |
| Some crying one thing and some another, for the assembly was confused. | |
| And most of them didn't even know what they were coming together to protest. | |
| Wow. | |
| This is biblical. | |
| So if it's biblical there, it tells me that many of the disruptions we're going to see are going to be the evidence that we're seeing the awakening already begin. | |
| Sounds nice. | |
| That's what it means. | |
| So if you have a nice, peaceful synagogue and nothing ever happens, it could be that maybe there's no anointing there. | |
| The moment Jesus shows up, people are screaming and yelling. | |
| You got them crying out. | |
| He's saying, shut up, come out. | |
| And a rabbi who thinks that things should be normal would say, this guy's a problem. | |
| No, he's not a problem. | |
| He's a stimulus package. | |
| He's creating an environment where the devil manifests because he's being dealt with. | |
| Right. | |
| So the church is going to have to start to look for great joy in the city. | |
| That also happens when deliverance comes. | |
| We're going to need a new era of Whitfields and Wesley's and Evangelists. | |
| We're going to need to get deliverance ministry again. | |
| You go into these worst cities like Detroit, I promise you, if we can see God raise up. | |
| Here's the secret. | |
| Since the devil loves to divide, he wants black people against white people, Hispanic people against other people. | |
| He wants Democrats against Republicans, same-sex against heterosexual. | |
| So what we've got to do is we have to have our Joseph Coat, Jim. | |
| We have to have the Darrell Scotts. | |
| We have to have the black and white, Hispanic and Asian, male and female, all with their arms around one another proclaiming the same truth. | |
| That's it. | |
| It's right on. | |
| The one thing that Donald Trump said during his inauguration that had the highest reviews in terms of the high point was he said, all of the people on this platform, the generals and presidents agree that I don't care whether you are black or Hispanic or white, when you bleed, we all bleed the same red color of patriots. | |
| It's time to remember that old wisdom our soldiers will never forget, that whether we are black or brown or white, we all bleed the same red blood of patriots. | |
| Well, when we put the white and the black and the Hispanic and Asian, the male and female together, and we talk about the color of the blood of Jesus is what will unite America. | |
| That's right. | |
| That's got to be our message. | |
| Because what heals the racial divide isn't patriotism. | |
| It's God doing a work in your heart and in your mind where you're reconciled with him so you could walk in reconciliation with other people. | |
| And we need to raise up. | |
| This is where Sammy Rodriguez and Harry Jackson, when we were having that conversation, you showed up. | |
| It was so prophetic. | |
| We were discussing this very thing. | |
| We were saying how we've got to come together as a diversity coalition because the truth is the church has already dealt with the issues that the nation is now battling. | |
| We get along. | |
| Black and white, I come from the most integrated church in the South. | |
| We're Hispanic and black and white, and they love to hear me, and I love to hear them, because we don't see each other's ethnicity. | |
| We don't see that as a barrier. | |
| We see it as a cause of uniqueness to celebrate the image of God. | |

Where the Gates of Influence Lie

| Now, if we've already solved that problem, I don't want to give the devil any more opportunity to exploit a problem that's already been solved. | |

| We need to show up where the gates of influence are. | |
| The thing is, we do this in church. | |
| The world isn't in our church. | |
| And even though we've got good broadcasting, They're not watching us. | |
| They're watching Saturday Night Live. | |
| They're not watching us. | |
| That's right. | |
| That's right. | |
| So we got to go where the gates of influence are. | |
| We're going to have to go where the lion's den, and we've got to go into the arena like Maximus gladiators have to go where the devil's located. | |
| We've got to go to the talk shows. | |
| We've got to go head-to-head with the pundits. | |
| We're going to have to show up in Washington. | |
| We're going to have to go onto the campuses. | |
| We've got to see a move of God of millennials for a revival on America's college campuses. | |
| We've got to train them in apologetics. | |
