Years of Prophecy 00:11:17
Do you see something big coming in the church after Trump gets in?
Oh, there's a lot of big things coming.
You know, I've been asked so many times ever since Donald Trump came to prominence.
I've had so many people say to me, do you believe Donald Trump is in Bible prophecy?
And I said, sure.
Haven't you heard about the last Trump?
Yeah.
That's right.
So now that was a flippant answer.
That wasn't the real answer.
But I do believe the election of Donald Trump is directly related to the prophecies of the Bible.
And I think that's probably something we should talk about today because I think everybody's wanting to know where are we headed here.
And that's what prophecy is for.
The Bible tells us that God will do nothing except he reveals it to his servants, the prophets.
So I do believe God wants us to understand what's going on right now because if we know what's going on, then we can align ourselves with it or else we may find ourselves working at cross purposes against it.
So I think we really do need right now to know what this election was all about, where we're headed, and what God's plan is for the United States of America.
Amen.
You call the 2016 political election a political earthquake.
And I want to know why you call it a political earthquake.
Well, Jim, let's take just a moment to look at the United States and the Bible.
If you don't understand the United States and the Bible, you can't understand where we are right now.
In Daniel chapter number seven, Daniel had a vision of four beasts.
And in the prophecy, it says these beasts symbolize kingdoms or nations.
That says it in verse 23, the fourth beast will be the fourth kingdom upon the earth.
So this prophecy is a prophecy of four nations.
The next question is, when will these nations be upon the earth?
Well, if you study the context, you can prove that all these nations have to be on the earth at the time of the second coming.
So I looked at the way I know that is because after the first eight verses where it tells about the four beasts, a lion with eagles' wings, a bear, a leopard, and a ten-horned beast.
Then it says in verse 9, and I beheld till the thrones were cast down and the ancient of days did sit.
So it sees all of those kingdoms being removed from power and Jesus Christ being crowned king of kings and lord of lords.
And then in verse 11, it's very specific.
It says in verse 11, I beheld till the beast, speaking of the Antichrist, was slain, his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame.
Well, we know that happens at the second coming of Jesus to the earth.
He's going to destroy the Antichrist and he's going to cast him into the lake of fire.
Well, the very next verse is the key verse, verse number 12.
It says, and as concerning the rest of the beast, now remember the beast are nations.
As concerning the rest of the nations, when the Antichrist is destroyed, they have their dominion taken away, but their lives are prolonged for a season of time.
So they're going to live into the millennium under the rulership of Jesus Christ and his church.
So, I mean, it's very clear from that passage.
So, if that is true, that means all these nations will be on the earth at the time of the second coming.
When I saw that, actually, I was 22 years of age when I saw that a few years ago.
But when I saw it, I said, if I can prove these nations exist right now, then I can prove that we're in the era of the second coming.
Well, in my simplicity, I thought, well, let me go to the dictionary.
So I looked up in the dictionary underline, Webster's Third International Dictionary, and it said there, the symbol of a country, Great Britain.
I thought, that's too easy.
Well, then I went to the next beast, a bear.
Well, I already knew that there was a major nation whose symbol is the bear.
Yes.
Russia.
And I thought, oh my goodness, in the days of Great Britain and Russia, Jesus is coming back.
Well, then I went back to the lion, and the lion had eagle's wings.
And there's a major nation whose symbol is the eagle.
Matter of fact, it's on the back of your dollar bill.
If you've ever taken the time to read the back of the dollar bill, some of us are spending them so fast at Walmart, we never read the back.
But anyway, I said, So the eagle is the United States.
And in the prophecy written 550 B.C., the eagle's wings are depicted as growing out of the lion.
Where did the United States come from?
Britain.
And I thought, oh, my goodness, look at this.
Well, then it says, and I watched till the wings were plucked, broken off from the lion.
Can you believe that Daniel saw the Declaration of Independence in 550 B.C., 2,300 years?
Before it happened?
Let me tell you, I went home.
I was over at the church praying when God was unrealing all this to my mind.
I was actually preaching in Louisiana, and I went over to the trailer.
Judy and I were traveling as an evangelist for eight years, and we had a little 29 by eight trailer.
So I went over to the trailer.
I said, babe, I think I found the United States in the Bible today.
And so I took the scriptures.
I remember it as though it were yesterday.
And I said, look at this, look at this.
And she said, well, it sure looks like it, doesn't it?
Of course, I hadn't been able to convince her of anything.
Anyway, I convinced her to marry me.
So I wasn't sure that was the best test as to my scholarship.
But anyway, so once you know that the lion is Great Britain, the bear is Russia, the eagle is the United States.
And once you know, well, I won't go through all the theology, but the leopard is Germany.
The most prominent tank in the world is the German tank, the leopard tank.
And the leopard had four heads.
All the rest of the beasts only had one head each.
A beast in Bible prophecy represents nations.
Multiple heads on a beast indicate the number of times that nation will rise and fall.
So you've got one head of the lion, one of the bear, but four of the leopard?
Because Germany's had the first Reich, the Second Reich, Hitler's famous Third Reich, and the Fourth Reich, which is rising right now.
I actually have a book called The Fourth and Righteous Reich, How Germany Conquered the Post-War World.
Well, anyway, now I'm taking a long road to answer your question.
This question is great.
But those symbols are used one more time in the Bible, 650 years later in the New Testament.
Now, God has changed secretaries, but it's the same author.
God's the author.
Daniel's the secretary for the first vision.
John's the secretary for the second vision.
Revelation 13.
In Revelation 13, he sees one beast, not four.
And the one beast he sees has the body of the leopard, the feet of the bear, the mouth of a lion, the ten horns of the ten horn came.
Oh, by the way, the ten horns was the last beast in Daniel 7.
That will come out of Europe, and we may talk about how we know that later.
But anyway, you get over in Revelation 13, they've all merged into one beast.
Wow.
It's a one-world government.
And when I saw that, I thought, okay, but where's the eagle?
Yeah, wow.
The only thing not there from Daniel 7 is the eagle.
Well, I couldn't answer that for a long time.
I thought, well, we've either been annihilated or maybe we've just opted out and we're not a part of the one-world government anymore.
I didn't know the answer.
But then I went back to chapter 12, and there's a prophecy there of Israel, a woman with the 12 stars around her head.
That's the 12 tribes of Israel.
And she has a child, Jesus Christ, and Satan tries to destroy the child as soon as he's born.
He's caught up to God into his throne.
Then it skips 2,000 years, as God does sometimes in scripture.
He just zings, you're here and then you're here.
Well, then he skips and he goes to the last three and a half years, and it depicts there a war in heaven.
Satan and his angels fight against God and his angels.
Well, Satan's defeated, and his punishment is he's confined to the earth for the next three and a half years until he's put in the bottomless pit.
Well, the Bible tells us when he's confined to the earth, woe be to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea, for Satan comes down to you having great wrath, knowing that he hath but a short time.
And he went to make war against the woman Israel.
But the Bible says, But there was given to the woman, watch this, two wings of a great eagle that she might fly into her place where she's nourished from the face of the serpent for time, times, and half a time.
A time is one year, times is two years, a half a time is half a year.
Three and one half years, which is the length of the Great Tribulation.
Now, I know a lot.
Just say that again because I want people to say that.
You believe the tribulation period lasts three and a half years.
That's correct.
And now you're going to tell us why.
Well, you know, a lot of books say that it's seven years.
Do you realize there's not one scripture in the entire Bible that teaches a seven-year tribulation?
It's astounding.
There are not one tribes.
You all know that?
If you've been listening to him teach, but there are six specific scriptures that say it's three and a half years.
For example, Daniel 7:25, the little horn that uproots three and becomes the Antichrist and makes war against the saints for time, times, and half a time, for three and a half years.
Jump to Revelation 13:5, and it says, And power was given unto the beast to continue 42 months.
That's three and a half years.
And he makes war against the saints and overcomes them.
And then you go to Revelation 12, 5, and 6.
It says that the dragon persecuted the woman for 1,260 days, three and a half years.
And then Jesus said the great tribulation will begin at the abomination of desolation.
He said, When you see the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet, then let those which be in Judea flee, because then will be great tribulation.
The abomination of desolation is halfway through the seven-year period called Daniel's 70th week.
So I know people are disappointed because they only get three and a half years of Great Tribulation instead of seven.
But anyway, okay, but here's the big point: America is not going to be a part of the kingdom of the Antichrist.
America is going to defend Israel against the Antichrist.
Boy, is that good news?
And guess what?
America, when the United Nations in 1947 on November the 29th voted to create the state of Israel, they needed 31 votes for a two-thirds majority.
There were 51 members of the UN back in those days.
Guess who cast the 31st vote?
The eagle, the United States of America.
Wow.
Causing Israel to become a nation.
Be Baptized or Die 00:01:19
Well, then, that's not all.
Because then it was May the 14th of 1948.
David Ben-Gurion announced the birth of the nation of Israel in the Independence Hall in Tel Aviv.
Guess which nation was the first to recognize Israel as a nation?
11 minutes later, 11 minutes later, the United States of America recognized the legitimacy of Israel.
And that's not all.
Our president.
Right.
Yes, but that's not all.
1492, when America was discovered, something else happened that year.
The Spanish Inquisition.
Queen Isabel and King Ferdinand of Spain decided all of Spain had to become Catholic.
You had to be baptized Catholic or die.
There was actually a slogan, be baptized or die.
Well, there were 400,000 Jews in Spain at the time.
What were they going to do?
They were given four months to get out of the country.
Well, they were scrambling to get out.
Now, remember, this is the same year that Christopher Columbus discovered America.
And many people believe that he truly was looking for a place for the Jews to flee to.
As a matter of fact, many people believe Christopher Columbus himself was Jewish, and his voyages were financed by three wealthy Jews.
A lot of people don't know that.
