The Greatest Problem Is Deception

| Why is it, Pastor Langford, that the children of God, the people that say we believe this, why will we not accept warning sign after warning sign after warning sign? | |
| To me, the greatest problem is deception. | |
| If a man is deceived, he believes he's right, but he's utterly wrong. | |
| And when you're deceived, and Jesus told us in the last days, this would be one of Satan's greatest tools. | |
| Many shall come in my name saying, I am Christ, and shall deceive many. | |
| Paul, 2 Thessalonians 2, 3, let no man deceive you by any means, mode or method. | |
| You know, Hitler spent two years in prison. | |
| You know what he said? | |
| He learned the most valuable lesson in prison? | |
| Propaganda. | |
| Amen. | |
| And that's why they use propaganda to distract us, to get our mind off of what's important. | |
| We all have an element of attention deficit disorder. | |
| This is one of the reasons I don't like Fox News. | |
| It's all five-minute bites. | |
| It's distraction right one after another. | |
| God wants us to be focused. | |
| Amen. | |
| He wants us to be pointed. | |
| He wants us to be accurate. | |
| He wants us to be concise. | |
| He wants us to have the true knowledge. | |
| And as Steve said from Hosea 4, 6, my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. | |
| It's not because men like us are not preaching the truth. | |
| They're refusing to embrace the truth. | |
| See, the truth is the only thing that sets men free. | |
| Nothing else in this world will set a person free but the truth. | |
| Jesus said, ye shall know the truth. | |
| I talked about knowledge this morning. | |
| The knowledge of God. | |
| If you don't have the knowledge of God, then you will never know the truth. | |
| And this is why the word of God is so important. | |
| God's people are not to be caught unawares of anything that takes place. | |
| The Bible tells us there's coming a new world order. | |
| It's satanic. | |
| But the Bible also tells me after that, the king of kings and the Lord of lords is going to return and set up an everlasting kingdom, and of that kingdom there shall be no end. | |
| This is coming. | |
| It's coming. | |
| You've got to be prepared. | |
| If you're not preparing as you ought to be, you're going to make grave errors in your life. | |
| You're going to make grave error. | |
| Jesus said, ye do err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God. | |
| Let me say this. | |
| We're going to have to start doing more than just praying. | |
| We're going to have to fast some. | |
| I'm going to tell you why. | |
| Matthew 17 and 21 says, this kind goeth not but by prayer and fasting. | |

Power of Fasting

| They said, why could we not cast out these devils? | |
| This kind. | |
| That means some things in our personal spiritual lives will never take place, come to fruition, until you fast. | |
| Psalms 35, 13, I humbled my soul with fasting and my prayer returned into my bosom. | |
| Esther fasted. | |
| Jesus fasted. | |
| Moses fasted. | |
| Every great personage in the Bible fasted and prayed. | |
| You know why it's important to fast? | |
| Man failed because he was disobedient in eating something that God said, don't do it. | |
| That's why we struggle to fast. | |
| But let me tell you something. | |
| There is great power in fasting. | |
| There is. | |
| Holy Ghost dudamous power to cause you to triumph over the devil and hell and everything he brings against you. | |
| Amen? | |
| Amen. | |
| Let me give you one verse. | |
| Psalms 41, verse 11, By this I know that thou favorest me because mine enemy doth not triumph over me. | |
| Satan cannot triumph over you or me if we are in relationship with Jesus. | |
| Get bound in the Holy Ghost. | |
