Fruits of the Spirit 00:03:07
He said, here it is, Jim.
Give them the test.
You will know them by their fruits.
I'll know.
I don't have to judge of apple.
It's an apple.
Right.
Right?
Is this clear at all?
Yes, yes.
Perfectly clear.
Okay, I said, all right.
Well, what are these fruit?
God, what are these fruits?
He said, the fruit of the Spirit.
You will know them by their fruit.
What is the fruit of the Bible?
The fruit of the Spirit.
Right.
In Galatians.
And so I'm starting looking down the line of the fruit.
Find the fruit for them.
Somebody find the fruit.
Long-suffering.
Gentleness.
Joy, peace, love.
Long-suffering.
Faithfulness.
Wait a minute.
Wait a minute.
So I don't have to judge.
Yeah.
Do you want to read them?
Well, here in the New Century version of the Lord.
You're bound to get in my sermon.
Just go ahead.
The Spirit produces.
But the Spirit produces the fruit of my love, joy, peace, patience, kindness.
Peace, patience?
That's still there.
Love.
Joy, peace, patience.
What else?
Patience, kindness, goodness.
Gentleness, self-control.
Somebody have them in the King James Version?
If you have the new King James, check it out there.
But faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.
And when you really look at those, I mean, that's what we all aspire and want to be.
I think that's something we should maybe read every day or get that scripture memorized and pray every day, not just only to have our, you know, our spiritual armor on, but to have the fruits of the Spirit that we're living and walking those out daily too.
Because people are going to, we're going to be so set apart in so many ways.
And that's how they're going to know us, by the way.
The enemy of our soul is going to know us by that.
And they're going to say, that's a real Christian.
The Bible says, go down a little bit further in Matthew 7.
And what is it going to say?
Oh, look at God.
We cast out devils in your name.
Is that right?
That's right.
We did all these wonderful things, and the word is due to us.
In other words, God, we were dynamite.
We were dynamite Christians.
And what does Jesus say?
This is Jesus talking, by the way.
I never knew you.
And the word know there is not with the sight.
It's intimate relationship.
The same word Mary used when she said, I've never known a man.
So Jesus said, I never had an intimate relationship.
Number One Fruit: Love 00:00:44
And there's a lot of people in the pulpits, a lot of people acting like they're Christians.
They're not Christians because they're mean as snakes.
That's a good word.
It's heavy.
You will know them by their fruit.
You know you pass from death into life.
Why?
Because you love the brethren.
What is the number one fruit?
Love.
Say it.
Love.
Say it louder.
Love.
That's the fruit that is above all.
Above all.
Number one.
That's what it says.
