We have developed speed, but we have shut ourselves in.
Machinery that gives abundance has left us in want.
We think too much and feel too little.
More than machinery, we need humanity.
We know the air is unfit to breathe and our food is unfit to eat, as if that's the way it's supposed to be.
We know things are bad, worse than bad.
They're crazy.
Silence! The great and powerful Oz knows why you have come.
You've got to say, "I'm a human being!" Goddammit!
My life has value!
You have meddled with the primal forces of nature!
Don't give yourselves to brutes, men who despise you, enslave you, who regiment your lives, tell you what to do, what to think, or what to feel, who drill you, diet you, treat you like cattle, use you as cannon fodder.
Don't give yourselves to these unnatural men, machine men with machine minds and machine hearts.
Yeah, thank you.
You're beautiful.
I love you.
Yes. You're beautiful.
Thank you.
Ha-ha. It's showtime.
And now, Reality Reads with Jason Bermas.
And who loves you and who do you love?
Hey everybody, Jason Burmus here and I'm just asking questions and today we're going to ask the question of how much do Irish Limp Bizkit fans rock?
And I'm going to give you a spoiler alert, they rock so much.
So we're going to talk a little bit.
About Limp Bizkit themselves, cultural perception, etc.
And then we're going to talk about Conor McGregor, who I will still not back down to the fact that he should be in prison for what he has done.
And yet, there still are a multitude of fanboys, especially in this country.
And we're going to kind of speak to that.
In a moment, that are willing to blindly defend this guy and this monster to the point where he's not only pierced the culture, but as I've stated before, he grotesquely was at the presidential inauguration.
Okay?
That's no bueno.
That's not cool.
Alright?
I want to make that extremely clear.
Before I dive too deep into that, I want to go back to the biscuit.
Okay?
And, you know, I got me some red hats.
And they're not of the MAGA variety, by the way.
I know, again, those with, like, TDS have now associated that color with Donald Trump.
But there was a time, a great time, if you will, in the 90s, the mid to late 90s that seeped into the early 2000s, that people like myself...
And many others finally thought that the cultures of rock, rap, white, black, hip-hop, blues,
funk, had finally merged so much, so much, and the culture had gone so far that racism, for the most part, was donezo with our generation.
In no way, shape, or form could I have foreseen in the late 90s, early 2000s what would take place via the end of the Obama administration.
They started really pushing the racial division right around the time Obama ran because one of the talking points would be, oh, you just don't want a black man in the White House if you weren't behind Obama.
But people like myself, it's not like we were out there going, boy, oh boy, give me some of that McCain.
Give me some of that Romney.
I mean, come on.
Gross.
But, again, to Trump's credit, that's one of the things he's done with that party.
The Republicans, in large part, have at least moved away from a lot of that.
A lot of that.
Not all of it, but a lot of it.
Okay?
So Limp Bizkit themselves.
I just want to say this really quickly.
I was an early adopter.
Korn was probably my favorite band growing up as a kid.
As a teenager, I had a lot going on in my life.
I was gravitating towards punk and metal music anyway.
And then Korn came on the scene.
They had this sound.
Like nobody else.
Nobody else.
They had the bagpipes in there.
Just badass to this day.
Love Korn.
So Korn, it took a while to gain traction.
It's the pre-internet era.
So you still had to succumb to TV, magazines, and album sales.
They would come up with their third album after gaining traction on the first and second.
Follow the leader.
Had a cover by Todd McFarlane, which is a cultural icon in his own right, creator of Spawn, founder of Image Comics.
His Spider-Man is largely regarded, his modern version of what Spider-Man is, creator of Venom.
I mean, I keep going.
So that comes out, and that's it.
The Internet's now started, right?
Like, we're now, I think that was like 98, okay?
Now everything's going.
And through Interscope, Limp Bizkit kind of comes up with them.
Deftones get popular.
The music is now getting played.
And then Korn decides to do the Family Values tour.
So the very first Limp Bizkit album with the Faith cover that brought it in, they had a couple singles, didn't hit.
Loved that album.
Loved it.
Loved it.
I was at the very first Family Values show.
By then I'd done a bunch of concerts.
I was in college.
I mean, again, talk about merging cultures.
Ice Cube performed at that.
And then with Korn.
Did Children of the Korn.
And then later they let Fieldy do the Cheech and Chong cover that was on that album.
I mean, we're getting into memories here.
By the way, thumbs it up, subscribe, and share if you like the rant we're going on here down memory lane.
But I specifically, I was already into Biscuit.
Their performance was killer at that time.
It was killer, man.
They were rocking.
And I just knew they were going to come up.
And basically, by their next album, they were the number one band out there.
I saw them at Woodstock 99, along with Korn, Rage, all these other bands.
And by that time, it was like, into the next album, they were the big sellouts.
And they were a big joke, right?
And continually.
And I'm not going to get into all of it, but some people hate to hate.
I absolutely love those three albums.
And they recently did one called Still Sucks.
Loved it.
Even in modern culture, they've tried to take a real large steaming dump on Limp Bizkit, but all of that didn't matter.
On the end of the pandemic, when they came back with Lollapalooza as almost a parody, they did this thing, Dad Vibes, Fred's dressed up as a dad.
They put documentary films out talking about how toxic...
Woodstock was, and it's Limp Bizkit's Fall, and yada, yada, yada.
All bull snap.
All bull snap.
Well, I've seen them a few times since that, and they've gained a whole bunch of momentum.
They're about to do another record.
If you get the chance, I can't recommend you go see them enough.
In fact, the last time I went and saw them, I saw them on the Loserville Tour, which we're going to get to in a moment.
This is out in Ireland.
They've taken it international.
And me and my buddy are there, and there's a woman about my age with her 15-year-old daughter who wanted to go, and the mom brought her.
And they had a great time together.
Limp Bizkit brings families together.
Now, Conor McGregor, on the other hand, it was five years of me screaming and shouting that there was a multitude of evidence that this guy was a brutal, violent, serial rapist.
Alright?
That had physically assaulted numerous women, sexually assaulted numerous women, but the one in particular was extra grotesque.
Doesn't end up going to a criminal trial, despite the victim and many others.
Like, they refused money, so it would go there.
They didn't want money, but nope.
There's still this spin, it was a gold there.
And honestly...
Some of the talking heads out there that have defended him and lied, like Candace Owens, it's grotesque, Candace.
And it calls into question a lot of your other stuff.
I'm just pointing that out.
And the same thing with you defending Andrew Tate.
Stop.
No, no, no.
They're not good people.
Now, Ireland, because of how big he was and how they know his connections to the mafia and actually how corrupt the police there, they get it.
They're done with Conor McGregor.
But because there's a media perception here, and the UFC and Disney, that's a parent company, and WME, and all these other things rely on this image.
Hollyweird still wants to promote this guy.
Conor's now basically trying to make a social media comeback.
And now we're going to get into the posts.
We're going to get into the Limp Bizkit concert.
We're going to get into the Irish fans knowing what's up and booing his ass.
Booing his ass.
I need you to thumbs it up.
Subscribe.
Share if you can.
We got the links down below.

5, 10, 15 bucks.
It does mean the world to me.
Vincent.
Charles.
Toon4.
Casey.
Freedom Warrior Woman.
Big Hair Tsunami.
Big ups to you guys.
Thank you so much.
Could not do it without you.
So, this is what Conor McGregor posted.
Alright?
This guy posts, who's going to Limp Bizkit in Ireland tomorrow?
I'll be banging the center of the mosh pit if anyone's looking for their jaw broke and their teeth sent.
Now, first of all, I've been in the mosh pit since I was 15 years old.
45 years old.
30 years.
The last decade or so, certainly not.
I'm not in shape.
I've got to tell you.
Maybe a little less than a decade.
When I was 36, 37, maybe I was still getting in there.
Still a limited amount of shows throughout the years after that.
Limp Bizkit is not about people getting their teeth kicked in.
They like the jumping around.
They'll stop the show if they think someone's getting hurt, and rightfully so.
I love them for that.
When I saw them...
A couple years back here at the Mississippi Valley Fair.
At the very end, you can go look it up.
He brought a bunch of just kids on stage and did break stuff with them.
Right?
There's a kinder, gentler Fred and the gang.
There was like one point over at Big Day Out many, many, many, many, many years ago.
Might even be over 20 years ago at this point.
But maybe not that long.
There was somebody killed at their show.
Now, I can tell you right now, Like, with Woodstock.
Go look at that wave of people.
I was in that mix.
It's a blessing.
There weren't more people hurt, and thank God nobody was killed.
Now, when we get to the night of the show, we're going to show you this video.
Conor McGregor was booed last night at Limp Bizkit's show.
First of all, one of the things I really respect is McGregor put that out, and nobody from Biscuit or their team reached out to him, gave him extra passes, wanted to hang out with him.
I'm pretty sure they're aware of McGregor.
Like Borland, at least on that level, is a pretty smart guy.
Very women's rights kind of guy.
But here we go.
We're going to play this video, thumbs it up, subscribe, and share.
Here's Limp Bizkit, I think two nights ago.
It sounds like you're in love with Conor McGregor here.
And I'll be straight with you.
From what I heard, he's actually out there right now.
John Otto, let's talk about it.
All right, we're going to bring that one back.
We're going to bring it on back.
We're going to bring it on back.
Now, the guy who's filming it, he actually goes, yeah.
Now, they'd already booed him once.
Like, at the beginning, he goes, when he says, you know, you kind of hear the bottom end of it, and he says, sounds like you're in love with Conor McGregor here.
And then they boo him again.
And he kind of refers to that tweet.
Let's do it one more time for the kids.
It sounds like you're in love with Conor McGregor here.
Oh, beautiful he goes.
Oh, beautiful.
That's right.
And I'll be straight with you.
From what I heard, he's actually out there right now.
*Loud laugh*
I love me some Durst.
Now, you know, I was talking about the fanboying and the grotesque people and a lot of things when this stuff goes on.
So, you know, I post this and, you know, I got attacked or some people who follow me, well, the story's already out there.
Why do you even care, bro?
Because the guy's not in jail and he's going to presidential inaugurations.
That's why I care.
See, in Ireland, I don't know that they can even prop him up as a political figure.
You just heard an entire concert.
The Limp Bizkit fans aren't having it.
So I post it.
I give this little posty post.
And by the way, Grok says that's a no-no.
That's a reason to shadow ban my account for saying specifically that.
So here's a person hiding behind an avatar.
Okay, thinks he's great.
Blah, blah, blah.
Crazy how his tape, his rape victim, cozied up to Connor and drank with him two and a half hours inside of the giant club after the rape instead of leaving to report the rape.
None of that's real.
Everything he said there, none of that is real.
Zero.
That's not what happened.
That's not what came out in court.
But again, people run cover.
So I go, that's not real.
Quit running cover for a serial rapist who viciously beat his victim.
Beat the victim you speak of.
And hashtag disgusting.
So he went to Grok.
Right?
And again, nothing in this.
Nothing in this.
It says she pursued criminal charges.
Okay?
And that's it.
Like nothing he said.
But here's the response.
Stay stupid.
Incel.
I'm not even going to read the next one, okay?
Like, you're a pathetic rape apologist loser hiding behind an avatar.
I'm a person who is unafraid to show my face and speak the truth.
Good luck with all that.
And, of course, it's good luck with jerking off in your ma's house, you incel.
Let me assure you, if my mother were to live with me, which she doesn't, obviously, I would be the one taking care of her.
I know it's a baby face, and it's hard for people that can't engage in civil conversations and just attack others and make things up to understand that.
And who knows?
Maybe that's one of those UFC bots.
Here's something really interesting.
Let's see if it's still true.
You guys, if you've been along for the ride, you know that McGregor blocked me when...
Danny Jokes, a.k.a.
Danny Polish Chuck.
Right?
Let's see.
It looks like I've been unblocked by McGregor, but I don't know for sure.
Let's see.
Yeah.
Look at this.
We just did it live.
I'm no longer blocked by McGregor.
I obviously am not in contact.
I have no idea.
The only thing, the only thing I can think of is that since he blocked me, Somebody might have sent him one of my videos or tweets or blah, blah, blah, and he had to unblock me to go look at it.
It's all I can think of.
Or somebody else running his account.
I don't know.
I don't know.
But really, we've got to do better as an American culture.
And all you conservatives or libertarians or blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, you can't be on board with this and that guy.
And once again, I could not be prouder to be a Limp Bizkit.
Unapologetic Limp Bizkit fan today.
Folks, I'm going to be putting out probably one of my Making Sense of the Madness.
I think I'm sitting on three interview styles right now.
Putting one of those out later today.
A couple out over the weekend.
Hopefully we're also going to be doing some live streams.
Although I have a double.
Yes, a...
Double volleyball tournament this weekend.
Once again, I could not do it without you.
$5, $10, $15.
Big donors, thank you so much for, again, supporting this broadcast.
There's other links down below.
PayPal, crypto.
Folks, you know the drill.
This video in particular, maybe it was a little bit more fun.
Again, I get to reminisce, a little nostalgia style with the Burmese Brigade here.
It's not a left or right thing.
It's always about right and wrong.
Remain consistent.
In your views.
In your ideals.
And be an example.
Don't just sit back and act like everything's okay.
It's the same thing with Musk.
When I don't like what he's doing, I'm going to say it.
And all the good things, great.
I'll say that too.
Be unafraid to speak the truth.
And when you're not sure, it's okay to say I'm not sure.
But let me say this.
Don't just remain in ignorance.
If you're not sure and it is an arena of knowledge worth pursuing, pursue that arena.
