Sebastian Gorka LIVE: The Tenet Media plot thickens
| Copy link to current segment

Time Text
So, you're not going to tell me what to do?
No, I'm not going to tell you what to do.
I'm going to tell you what to do.
Because so many more Democrats were voting by absentee ballot in that 2020 cycle, and many of us tried to educate people.
Don't go looking at the initial returns as they come in that Tuesday night and think that's the victor because this thing is going to have to play itself out.
Oh, are they prepping the battlefield?
Happy Friday!
Welcome to America First with me, your host, Sebastian Gorka.
Three hours of fun, especially on Fridays.
We make movies great again in the third hour.
There's so much to discuss.
The news cycle is insane, from the latest, latest permutations of the Tenet media scandal to what happened to the sweetheart deal for Hunter Biden and the breaking news President Trump's sentencing, Judge Juan Marchand has delayed it to
November 26th, after the election!
Oops, somebody blinked!
Or as, who was it?
Was it Jeff said that to me?
Maybe his daughter has already made enough millions off the court case, so that's why they delayed it.
Jeff, we had a lively discussion.
Oh, first things first, who was that cut from that we opened with?
The funny name Schmirkonisch, who is that chap?
He's a former radio host from Philadelphia that pretended to be conservative for a while.
But hang on, was he like a Salem host, or who did he work for?
No, he was on the CBS affiliate there, which was mostly right-wing, and then he took over the morning show.
And I never trust him, because he's a lawyer, and he talked about his F-150 pickup truck way too much to try to act like he was conservative.
A lawyer who talks about his F-150?
Yeah, and then in 2008, when Obama ran, he wrote this big op-ed the week before the election, how he couldn't support McCain, and Obama had a big plan to be able to fix the economy, and then he's been a lib ever since.
So this fake conservative raging lib who says, oh, whoever quote-unquote wins on November the 5th, maybe they didn't win.
Maybe we have to, you know, just wait for the real results to come in when the pristine ballots have been counted.
Jeff, who made his coffee when he was at that radio station?
Oh, that was the internet guy, Pozo.
The guy that broke the Pizzagate story?
Oh, the Pizzagate guy?
Yeah, the investigative journalist.
So, Jack Posobiak worked for Schmerconisch?
Yeah, I'm pretty sure it was an intern.
It may have been an assist, but I'm pretty sure it was an intern.
Did he put that on his resume, on his bio?
No, not exactly.
When he went on Twitter, it was a CBS affiliate, which there's like 500 affiliates.
He put on there, former CBS reporter.
Posobiak?
Yes.
I mean, that's not like him to stretch the truth, but... Hang on, is that how he went to the Pizzagate place to comic pizza?
Did he say, I'm a CBS reporter?
Um, I think he did.
He might have.
I'm not sure if he did.
Oh my gosh.
Oh, let's talk about, let's go back.
We've got disagreement, lack of harmony inside the Team Gawker here.
We have disagreement on Judge Juanma Chan's decision to delay the sentencing.
I think this is a big deal.
Eric, you're not too happy today.
It's Friday.
You have to be happy on a Friday.
I've, I've had disagreeing opinions with, I've had some friends who agree with this statement and others who disagree.
I think the delay of Trump's sentencing hurts him because I absolutely think, you look at everything else that happened to him, the FBI raid of Mar-a-Lago, the mugshot, the conviction, and yes, the assassination attempt.
His enthusiasm and poll numbers and approval ratings and fundraising soared after every single one.
We literally, we sold a t-shirt here at the Seb Gorka store, Outlaw President, him on the Wanda poster.
Americans love the idea of an outlaw president.
It would make him even more of a martyr.
It would be a massive shot in the arm for enthusiasm for his base.
and we get a lot of independents and moderates thinking this poor guy, they just tried to kill him a few months ago,
now they want to throw him in prison?
So delaying to after the election, I think, is a bad thing for us.
Mr. G?
Um, I think Trump has hit his ceiling, but his ceiling is going to be enough to win.
I will say that part.
Because I was a little surprised that he didn't get a bump after he was shot in the head.
I mean, if you're ever going to get a bump on yourself.
This is incredible.
He's shot in the head and there's no bump, and so we think people are going to be sympathetic to him when he goes to prison?
Yeah, but I think what this says more is the left knows that they're on rocky waters.
Yes.
And if we put this guy in jail for nothing, It's going to make us look bad, and if we go to sentence them and we let them off, the left is really going to get upset, so they don't know what to do.
Yeah.
Catch 22.
Catch 22.
I think it's great news for the president, because, you know, what they would have done, my expectation, they're not going to put him on Rikers Island, but they would have put him under house arrest, which means what?
He can't campaign.
What, he's going to Skype in on a Jumbotron to the rallies?
That would have dampened things severely.
So, I think the left blinked today, and that's a big deal.
Okay, where do we begin?
Where should we start?
Should we start with the latest on the tenant media?
I think we should.
So, I sent a couple of tweets to Eric.
The woman who has clearly been running a disinformation campaign for the Russians is called Lauren Chen.
There's a great account on Twitter called Amuse, A-M-U-S-E, and he or she, I don't even know the gender, gave us a couple of Lauren Chen's former tweets.
So, people who say, oh my gosh, how dare you criticize Tenet Media, and this is just another disinformation op from the Biden administration, the DOJ, to attack MAGA.
Okay, so how MAGA is she?
Really?
Here's a couple of tweets from Lauren Chen just to set the record straight.
I supported Trump when he said he wanted to leave abortion as a state's issue.
That's fine.
But saying you would go out of your way to veto an abortion ban?
That you'd potentially use your executive power to overturn congressional legislation and the will of the people?
No, I'm done!
Eric, that doesn't sound like very pro-Trump.
If you put in a tweet, no, I'm done, is that like MAGA?
No, that's basically explicitly saying you're not going to vote for Trump, which implies to your followers that they shouldn't vote for him either.
Bingo.
Let's continue.
This is Lauren Chen's account.
She's been very quiet for the last couple of days.
I wonder why.
Quote, so you support Kamala?
No, she's also not conservative.
If you don't support Trump, the left wins!
Trans men are campaigning on Trump being pro-abortion, while Trump himself talks about all the immigrants he wants to let in.
The left have already won.
I don't even get that one.
Eric, you follow politics even more closely than I do.
Who are the trans men campaigning on Trump being pro-abortion?
Who's that?
I literally don't know.
That sounds like something she might have just made up out of thin air.
Yeah, I think she probably did just to get clicks.
And the last one, Lauren Chen.
Nope!
I'm not a one, uh, uh, um, um, issue person.
Do you mean one issue person?
I think that's the typing.
Oh, I'm not a one issue person.
Trump is going weak on crime.
He's going weak on immigration, abortion, plus still pandering to the Zionists.
Whoa.
Wow.
Are you fishing for an interview on Tucker?
There's plans to bring in Democrats to his cabinet!
You mean the Democrats that they tried to remove from the ballots?
Those Democrats who have been disowned by the Democrat Party like Bobby Kennedy?
There are many issues people are complaining about.
Hey, again, Eric, you follow things so closely.
Trump is going weak on crime and immigration.
I know I traveled one day this week.
When did that weak on crime and immigration?
Because he's talking about deporting all illegals.
So when did he go weak?
I think he went weak when he literally promised, multiple times on the campaign trail, he will enact the largest deportation operation in history since President Eisenhower.
That's pretty weak.
Yeah, right.
Exactly.
Thank you for setting the record straight.
Lauren Chen was funded to attack President Trump.
Wake up guys.
Of course the DOJ is using this to attack real conservatives.
But the base story is real.
And I know, because they tried to hire me.
And I said no, because this thing stinks.

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Oh, I will say, that image that I sent you, Chris Platt, I sent it to Chris Platt, and he said, well, she does have two assets.
She's connected, you can put the mics off, Alex.
Okay, I can't introduce you unless I know how to pronounce your name.
Okay.
Bye.
you you
America First.
Can you believe it?
They are saying that they don't agree with America First.
How do you say that?
Magnificent.
Well, you don't say, not on this show.
And did you notice that five and a half years ago when we launched, I didn't call this the Sebastian Gorka Show.
I can't stand it when people say, oh, the Sean Hannity Show.
No, this is the America First Show, OK?
It's not about me.
It's about saving the republic.
And how about an opportunity?
You heard the man's voice, my former boss.
And God willing, if we do our part, the 47th as well as the 45th President of the United States, would you like to have dinner with him at a little place called Mar-a-Lago?
He's got a little message for you then.
Hello everyone, this is your favorite president, Donald J. Trump, with some very exciting news.

You don't want to miss it.
All right.
I just love this lady's posts.
I didn't know who she was or how she was connected to that lovely Emily Saves America channel as well.
And why do I like her?
Because she does things like this.
We need to stop using the language of the left.
Take the word trans, for example.
I will not say trans.
I substitute it with the word fake.
So if someone's talking about a trans woman, I will say, oh, oh, you mean a fake woman?
Or common sense gun control.
That's actually a constitutional infringement, also known as tyranny.
And I will not say gender-affirming care.
That's general mutilation.
Oh, and it's not a migrant crisis.
It's an illegal alien invasion.
And instead of calling people progressive, let's call them what they really are, retarded.
Even faster than Ben Shapiro and much more pleasant to look at.
And we're delighted to have her on the show today.
Erin Wexler of the non-lib-take Instagram account.
Welcome.
Hi, Sebastian.
It's great to be here.
Thanks for having me.
And I like the Ben Shapiro comparison.
I do think I speak faster and I think my eyebrows are just as good.
So I think it's a very appropriate way to introduce me to the audience.
Oh my gosh, you were born for stand-up.
You are quick on your feet.
That whole thing, again, machine gunned out, there's some amazing things that we must not say, mustn't cede reality or the language.
I'm diverting onto that thing for a second before we get to all the other things I want to talk about.
I've got really good friends who are diehard patriots, conservatives, who have very successful platforms.
Maybe one of them has a radio show.
And then he'll talk about a woman's wife.
And I text him and I say, hey buddy, women don't have wives.
You're seeding the language.
It's like trans women.
No, it's a dude, dude!
It's like Austin Powers.
How important is it to not give an inch, Aaron?
Well, that's exactly the point.
It's so incredibly important because what the left is so good at, what they're so successful at, is making us actually shift our language, right?
So you say gender-affirming care.
I mentioned that in that video.
That is insane to me, that we actually cede to this.
And as conservatives, I feel like now maybe a lot of people have woken up, especially the last couple of years, but we've always played nice.
We've always played by the rules.
We thought, you do you, I'll do me.
But what we've actually allowed the left to do is is to implement the slow boil of the frog.
And so they just take small inch and a small inch, and all of a sudden you realize you're at this boiling point, which is really where we are as a country.
So I'm very specific.
I'm very loud about not using the word trans.
I refuse to use that word because when you change your language, ultimately the goal of what the left is doing is to change the way we think about things.
And if you're not allowed to express yourself, you're not allowed to ask questions, then That's really how democracy falls, right?
We see it all the time right now on social media, what you're allowed to say, getting fact checked on things, just the control of language is truly, it's truly Orwellian.
And so that is why I post videos like that.
And somehow that video was not taken down from Instagram.
But you never know, they could always take it down.
And it happens all the time with other things that I post.
But you know, that's what I'm here to do.
I'm here to show people it's okay To be defiant and loud, it is necessary.
So I encourage everyone to just use, you know, refuse the language that they're trying to impose on us.
Where do you stand on the whole woke phenomena?
When you see the backpedaling recently of Harley Davidson, you hear the, what is it, the two billion that was lost by Bud Light.
Are these little pinpricks on a gargantuan battlefield?
Or are they losing steam?
Because people forget, woke was a word of adulation.
So, I'm woke, which means I'm good.
I'm awake to social injustice.
Are we starting to win, maybe?
I think we are.
And Robbie Starbuck has done a really excellent job on that front and scaring all these.
I think someone needs to make some sort of bounty hunter meme about this, how he keeps going out and gets these companies to kind of bend the knee and reverse.
But that's exactly what we should be seeing.
We should be speaking up.
I think, again, conservatives have taken I've taken beatings on this for too long.
We've stayed quiet for too long.
And when you're quiet, that's what allows them to implement changes.
That's how you get chest binders for tots in Target, right?
And we can't have that and we need to speak up.
And so I just think, you know, we're showing that we're finally starting to win, but we still cannot be complacent.
And I know we're going to get to this in a little bit in the segment, but There's still a lot that we need to be fighting for and so these should just be positive indicators to you that you are not alone and other people feel the way you do and companies will actually reverse course if you apply enough pressure the way the pressure has been applied to us.
So I think we need to stop being the nice conservatives of the last few decades.
It's time for us to punch back and that's exactly what you're referring to.
But also, we have to have people who are powerful, have leverage, have followings, have a bit of common sense.
Your reaction to the tenant media scandal with people getting wicked large offers to propagate material and then not asking where the money's coming from, Erin?
Yeah, this is a really unfortunate situation, to say the least.
There are a few things here on the tenant situation.
First, I think everyone should just use common sense in general, whether it's, you know, I come from the tech world from before being in the influencer space and politics and whether it was tech and people talking about we works a real estate tech company and you scratch your head and say, I'm not so sure about that.
It seems like they're kind of renting space and saying it's worth a lot more just by, you know, being there.
So whether it's in tech, whether it's in, you know, making money in politics, whatever it is, if it's too good to be true.
It's probably too good to be true, and honey traps come in all types of different forms, not just beautiful women, and this is clearly one of those situations.
Now, within the case itself, and, you know, I'm not a lawyer, I'm not an expert on this, I did listen to a few lawyers who were on Megyn Kelly's show yesterday, and they did a very good job of breaking this down.
I think, depending on the commentator, you could see varying degrees of the questions that they asked and what they were willing to do, because, you know, some of the shows they were kind of just reacting to And if you're being offered $5 million for an hour's work every week, you might want to ask questions as to who's offering you that $5 million.
The Instagram account is a non-lib take.
And there were other commentators who, it seems, maybe took kind of direct orders from
Lauren Chen and actually pushed certain narratives.
And that's where it gets really sticky.
And if you're being offered $5 million for an hour's work every week, you might want
to ask questions as to who's offering you that $5 million.
The Instagram account is non-lib take.
It is definitely not a lib take.

The... Actually, you know what? I'm gonna go to bed.
I'm gonna walk through two, three, and four together and then... Two, three, and four.
And then get Aaron to respond.
Yep.
So what happened to the painting behind you?
Did somebody steal it?
No, it's intentionally.
I'm in a friend's office right now, but they intentionally leave this open so you could swap things out.
But I think it's kind of a cool look.
I'm in the middle of a move, so right now my office looks like a prison.
But I have a very, very cool photo that's going up, so if you get me in another two weeks, the photo should hopefully be up.
Don't tease me!
What's the photograph?
What's the photograph?
Oh, it's just it's um, I saw it in a restaurant and I found it online and like blew it up.
But it's a it's a chick on a bike with a motorcycle kind of on salt flats with an American flag flying.
So it's just simple, but nice Americana.
Very cool.
Play nine again and ten and...
10 and 11.
9, 10, 11.
And it's really unfortunate that the former president, Donald Trump, told Republicans in the Senate that they weren't allowed to vote for this.
And the reason is, he realizes that he needed this for the election.
So he doesn't actually want to solve this problem, he just wants to talk about the problem.
Or take a picture at the border, which is what we've seen from him, and we've seen this from J.D.
Vance.
Interesting because if they wanted to maximize the chances that his father would reverse his decision, this would do it.
The scheduling date for the hearing was put in the sweet spot if you're looking for a pardon because this would come after the election with weeks before his father left office.
And if the sentence turns out to be a harsh one, that will add pressure to his father that maybe I will give myself this liberty of working for the interest of my own family.
I mean, what's really striking about today, Jesse, is that this is the party that often talks about privilege, but this may be the single most privileged individual you could find.
I mean, at least since Marie Antoinette.
I mean, if you look at what happened in that hearing, You know, he wanted to plead guilty without admitting guilt.
It was such a vintage Hunter Biden moment.
This is how he was raised.
He's had this army of enablers around him that have allowed him to evade that type of responsibility.
70 seconds.
Okay.
Answer the title for the movie.
Oh, for the movie.
Something like why Marco Zorro is still relevant today.
He talked about the many lessons.
The hero we need for today.
So where in Florida are you?
I'm between Miami and Tampa.
I go between the two cities.
And where are you?
I'm just outside DC in Roslyn and then I live in McLean, Northern Virginia.
Oh, very nice.
Standby.
You set the T up 2, 3, 4?
Yeah, I'll walk through them.
Okay.
And then we're gonna do... Pillow at the top.
Pillow at the top.
Let's see.
coming with 7.
I'm going to be doing a video on the news.

I was there.
In some ways, I wasn't there because I was really trying to focus on, okay, man, there's a lot of people here.
There's so much energy, the signs, and I have to get up there somehow.
And so when I saw her come out, I was like, what?
But my new best friend, Tim Walls, is right next to me, and he's just losing his mind.
You're supposed to think that's impressive.
Sexy.
Manly.
What do they call him, Eric?
The Second Gentleman?
Could you imagine if your title was The Second Gentleman?
He was born to be a beta male, I guess, and he sure acts like it in interviews like that.
But at least Doug Emhoff can count Tim Tampon Walls as his best buddy now.
If you enjoy our show, support those who make it possible.

That doesn't help either.

Follow her right now on Instagram, the website erinwexler.com.
Let's talk about, I have to walk through these three cuts with you because it's just, you don't want to believe conspiracy theories, and I like to destroy them usually, but There is clearly a central fax machine or an email, you know, distribution network where the left-wing media gets their talking points every day.
The latest talking points are about how President Trump, you can't understand what he's saying.
This is first Morning Joe Cutthroat.
It's easy to devolve into joking, but Willie, what the hell is he saying?
No, no, but I'm saying he sounded... Is he okay?
Willie, he sounded just like he was doing a book report in middle school and had not read the book.
He has no idea what he's talking about.
He's rambling incoherently.
Then Stephanie Ruhle cut to.
He didn't utter a single coherent sentence.
Many of the things he said, there weren't even verbs in his sentences.
It was, Marco Rubio, my daughter Ivanka, childcare is childcare.
Right.
And the fact that we're not covering that, like let's be clear, day in and day out we're saying, I need to see every single one of Kamala Harris' policies, and I want to see every punctuation, and I want to see it listed in 15 points.
Right.
There's an absolute double standard in the way these two individuals are being covered.
In the utter alternate universe, of course, Willie Geist cut for.
Remember, one of the core arguments about Kamala Harris that you hear in certain cable news channels and websites is that she's always in the middle of a word salad.
Do you ever watch Donald Trump?
You may want to give up on that argument.
Do you ever watch his rallies?
Did you watch him yesterday?
Had absolutely no clue what he was talking about.
So the word of the week is incoherent for President Trump.
And Kamala, she doesn't talk in word salads, Aaron.
It's so insane for two reasons.
There's something happening with the left that has been happening for years, where I feel like we need to crack the code the way Alan Turing did with the Enigma code, right, in World War II, where they finally figured out how I don't know what I'm allowed to say on this, but how some
people were communicating, how obviously the evil allies were communicating.
And we need to do the same, like how Germany was communicating.
We need to understand how the left suddenly just always sends out an email that we've
never been able to get on the distribution list for, because they are clearly taking
their marching orders from somewhere.
That's one.
The second point is, this projection is so rich to me.
It's so ironic.
They can't even see it themselves.
You're saying that Donald Trump, who is just, I don't know, I think he gets better every month, every single year that we see him.
He's just funnier and sharper and he remembers every person's name and every story.
But did they notice when Joe Biden didn't know where he was and was talking about how his uncle was eaten by cannibals?
I don't think they were pointing this out.
The fact that Kamala Harris seems like she's either on something or just like, I don't know if she's on something or just so incompetent
that the word salad is there every single time she speaks.
But I always say I get my daily dose of vegetables from Kamala Harris because I could just eat
her word salad every day by watching any single one of her clips.
So all of this is just, listen, I give them props for consolidating and mobilizing because
clearly they are just in lockstep with each other.
So this week, Trump doesn't make sense.
What's it going to be next week?
It's going to be something about J.D.
Vance being a really good dad and being really good with his dog because, oh, that's right, Joe Biden's dog bit Secret Service members dozens of times, and they wouldn't cover that.
So that's pretty much what I have to say on left-wing media trying to stick to a very false message.
All right, you need to follow this lady on Instagram at nonlibtake.
I didn't even ask her the question I promised I'd discuss, which is about how we deal with the abortion question.

What's the right way?
I mean, I think that Donald Trump has been very honest with everybody, and he's been very consistent in what he believes.
And it's that he put Supreme Court justices in who overturned Roe.
We got Dobbs, right?
And it went back to the states.
And Donald Trump fervently believes that this is a state's issue, as do I, by the way.
And I think that the point of Supreme Court rulings is generally to Uh, to dissipate the tension in the country and to change the narrative.
So like the desegregation of schools is a great example where once the Supreme Court ruled on that, there was no more debate in our country about whether school should be segregated, but that's not what Roe did.
The debate actually intensified in the decades following Roe.
And so the, I, you know, and obviously also Roe is very bad law.
So those two factors together meant that it was time for it to return to the States.
And what Kamala Harris is doing now is she's, this is the one thing I'll give her, which is very smart,
and it's probably her advisors, not her.
But the smart thing the left is doing is lying about Donald Trump and saying
that he's going to institute a national abortion ban, that he's gonna take away your rights.
And what I actually don't understand is why the campaign is not really actively
going after this narrative, because I don't believe that most conservatives
will sit at home and not vote for Donald Trump if he comes out and says, it is up to the states,
and my view is my view, my view is my view, but it is up to the states.
And let's make sure that the women in these swing states understand this,
because I truly believe and personally believe this is the number one issue that motivates people
to show up to the polls.
In these swing states.
So I don't think we need to pander to the bass.
I love it.
I think, you know, that's it.
Perfect.
Perfect.
All right.
That was super fun.
You've got my number, I think.
If there's anything you need from me, then ping me and keep doing what you do, Erin.
Thank you, Sebastian.
I really appreciate it.
Hopefully we get to meet sometime.
Maybe at Mar-a-Lago.
That would be wonderful.

So with our last guest, we continue the discussion.
She was great on the question of abortion and how it mobilizes the loonies of the left.
How do we deal with it, and especially those of faith?
I'm a cradle Catholic.
Well, there's one man who can teach us the way.
He is the individual who has fought relentlessly for the unborn.
We count him as a personal friend.
Father Frank Pavone, welcome back to America First, director for Priests for Life.
Great to be with you, Seb.
Thanks so much.
So, you've been a man in motion, doing a lot of work traveling the country, but you took time to post a video, I think it was last week, at least when I saw it, and I immediately said, okay, this 42nd is why we need you back on the show.
It has to do with November the 5th, abortion, what was achieved In the Supreme Court by President Trump's nominees, an event that I thought as a cradle Catholic would never happen in our lifetime.
So what is the practical response to the question of abortion as we stand 59 days away from an election?
Well, the practical thing is this, you know, we don't need President Trump to do our job as pro-life activists and leaders, our job.
We articulate the principles.
We tell people, you know, there's no such thing as an abortion that's okay, etc.
We need him to do his job, and he's going to do his job.
He's going to appoint the right kind of judges.
You know, there's nothing he did in his first term, all the great things he did for pro-life, There's none of those things that he has repented of, that he said were a mistake or that he wasn't going to repeat.
So when people ask me about his stance on abortion, I say, look, he's being asked these theoretical questions.
Congress is not going to put a national abortion ban on his desk.
So the question of whether or not he would sign something like that, this is an academic, you know, disconnected from reality type of question.
Let's look at the actual things that he did do, not only the judges, but all the money, really billions of dollars that he steered away from the baby killing industry.
And things like, Seb, you know, the Division for Conscience and Religious Rights, the office
he set up under HHS, that received hundreds and hundreds of complaints from citizens,
like medical professionals being forced to do abortions, although they had said they
didn't want to.
He's going to protect citizens that way.
Biden's not—Biden didn't do any of that.
Biden undid all of that.
And so these are the practical things that we have to look at, and not the least of which
which is also that he's preserving for us the tools we need to end abortion.
Freedom of speech, of religion, getting those pro-life, peaceful pro-life people out of the, what he calls the Biden gulag, right?
They're sitting in prison for no reason whatsoever, except that the Democrats hate pro-life people.
And so it's, these are the kind of things I've been urging people to focus on.
So let me run two things past you for your response.
My wife is now the chair of the Fairfax County GOP, the biggest county in Virginia, and she gets asked a lot, what do we say about abortion?
Do we avoid the topic?
And I say, Of course you don't avoid the topic.
Number one, President Trump, following the Catholic and foundational American principle, look at the founding fathers, of subsidiarity, has pushed the issue back to where it should be.
The states decide.
Let the people of the states decide.
This never should have been regulated by federal government.
And then, don't hide from the issue, flip the coin and talk about the other side.
When you are dealing with politicians and a party that thinks third trimester abortions, or like Governor Northam, you can birth a child and then decide to kill it if you want to after it's been born, we shed light on the evil that is the radicalism of the other side.
Are there any other tools we need?
What do you think of my approach?
That's exactly what I've been saying also, and President Trump is great at doing this, pointing out that it's the Democrats who are the extremists.
One thing, Seb, that we have to focus on, there are 10 states that have ballot measures.
They want to actually put this unlimited abortion, extreme, unregulated abortion Into the state constitutions.
And people need to know about this.
We're talking about Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Maryland, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, and South Dakota, and also New York.
They want to put these things into the state constitution.
This is so extreme.
It would mean that people can't even put the most reasonable regulations on abortion, like parental involvement, for example, or even clinic safety regulations.
It's absurd.
So we have to point out this absurdity and this extremism.
And here, Seb, is the other thing.
We lead with compassion.
I just got back from a three-day conference with 1,700 pregnancy center directors and staff from across the nation, the Care Net Conference.
And these people every day are putting themselves out there to help these moms, dads, and families Who have a pregnancy that they don't know how they can handle, and they're giving them practical, loving alternatives to abortion.
The Republican bills that the Democrats criticize, you know, these bans on abortion, what they don't point out is that these laws also contain millions and tens of millions of dollars to fund these kinds of efforts to find compassionate alternatives to abortion.
So if we combine Our concrete, practical compassion, with a shining a bright light on the extremism of the Democrats, we win.
Preach for Life did a McLaughlin poll recently, and it showed that voters far prefer a pro-life candidate who, even if they admit of some exceptions, as President Trump does, is working for policies that help moms have their babies.
They far prefer that, like by 60%.
68 to 23, something like that was the numbers, to someone who says, oh, I'm in favor of abortion without restrictions.
So we've got to keep on that track.
It's a very simple message.
President Trump has won us the strategic victory in the Supreme Court.
Now it's up to us, state by state by state.
Find out how.

2A, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Can you get Chris, Billboard Chris, on for a one-on-one?
And do you have the Seth Dillon's contact information at Babylon Bee?
Reach out to him.
We've been texting.
They've got a book coming out.
A book or a movie?
Hang on, let me see what it was.
Uh...
Uh, a new movie coming out. Uh...
Ask him, book him for, book him for like three segments.
Must be removed from the ballot.
I saw that.
So Wisconsin's the last one.
swing state.
Do you guys use apps to communicate with people?
I mean, yeah, I use a few.
I don't because people do it for safety.
If they want to get in, they'll get into anything.
It's pointless.
And the fact that there are like six different apps, it's like, seriously guys, can you just text?
And none of them are secure.
No.
I mean, what's really striking is that there's a lot of people who are coming out of the
party.
What's really striking about today, Jesse, is that this is the party that often talks
about privilege, but this may be the single most privileged individual you could find.
Gotta love Jonathan Turley.
Is there a greater example of entitlement than Hunter Biden?
Getting away with maybe not murder, but close to it in terms of, oh, foreign influence peddling, corruption, tax evasion, you name it.
And of course, The flip-flop in the last minute on whether he's guilty or not.
We'll see whether that's time for a pardon from his daddy.
A daddy who had this to say about the last four years in America.
This is Joe Biden.
You might have to pot this up because it's a bit of a rant.
Cut five.
Look, just think about how far we've come.
We have more to go.
We have more to go.
Too many people are still in trouble.
For nearly four years, Chef, does he believe that?
I'm with the reporter that asked him the other day, do you even know where you are?
That's what I'm with.
Did we ever get to the bottom of that?
Uh, I'm pretty sure.
What else would he have said?
I don't know, but who it was, I'd love to know.
No, I tried to find out.
I didn't see who it was.
If Jeff can't find it out, I think it is impossible to find out.
We will never know.
The reporter outside the White House who asked Joe Biden last week, hey, do you even know where you are?
And then he just kind of does the maniac grin.
Turley, back on Hunter, talking about the timing.
It's a little bit convenient.
Cut ten.
How convenient.
How did we get here with one party basically anti-American?

Okay, so President Trump is about to speak.
In Charlotte, North Carolina, after the breaking news at the top of the show that his sentencing was delayed, the Democrats have blinked.
It will not happen until November 26 after the election.
As soon as we see the president take the stage, we'll pipe it in for you so we can hear his immediate reaction.
But is this connected to the latest story from Stephen Crowder?
It's... Jeff, when did these people inside the belly of the beast realize if you're not that attractive and a young pretty girl is going out for a drink with you, you're probably being filmed?
I don't get it that they've not figured it out yet.
I mean, this happens all the time.
Right.
They open up like they're in a deposition, too.
They tell them everything.
And they keep asking a question, and they keep answering it.
Oh, that's so weird.
You want to know more about how corrupt we are?
Let me tell you!
Yeah, the question sounds like it's an episode of Law & Order.
They're just pushing you and pushing you and pushing you.
All right, so this individual is the chief of public affairs for the Department of Justice USNY.
So this is the most left-wing element of the DOJ out of New York, and they're talking to a pretty girl at a bar that sounds better than average, and he's discussing, this chief of public affairs, is discussing President Trump's Treatment in New York by the judicial system.
Let's party it up and play it.
Sure did.
And the whole thing is disgusting.
You're just out to get them.
That's why, like, the surgeons, you know, it's a perversion of justice.
Who's backing charges and, like, rearranging things just to make it fit a case?
No.
Why?
To be honest with you, I think the case is nonsense.
State levels are f***ed.
Wild West.
They're like idiots, they don't care, they're all political.
So yeah, this guy's probably going to try to lock them up.
It's going to be ugly.
I don't know how to come up.
And there is gonna be, it's gonna be ugly.
They're so obsessed with getting here.
This thing works on you. Yeah.
Albuquerque.
Albuquerque, yeah.
Who I've known for 15 years.
He used to work at my office.
Before he decided to prosecute Trump, did you know who he was?
You do now.
I'm not sure what he wants to be, but I know he's not happy just being the DM of New York County.
So now he's very ambitious.
Every real estate person in New York does what he did.
He left us what he gave us.
Nobody's ever really charged us.
And it's all him.
Everyone in real estate does this in New York.
Nobody's ever been charged with this.
They're all idiots.
They're stacking charges.
It's disgusting.
There's a moral aspect to this, Eric.
I don't think that guy's a Democrat.
If he's saying what they did to President Trump is disgusting, they've just burnt this guy by name, haven't they?
Yeah, he basically had a moment of honesty and morality in a business and an environment where I imagine there is not a lot of that to go around.
And yeah, it's not going to end well for him, unfortunately.
So there's a question of whether that should have been done.
Here's the flip side of that moral quandary.
If you're the Chief of Public Affairs for the Department of Justice, NY Southern District, And you know this is happening.
Listen to what he said.
I've known Alvin Bragg for 15 years.
He worked in my office.
And he's literally trumping up charges for political purposes.
That one line, hey did you know who Alvin Bragg was before this?
No.
Well you do now!
Meaning what?
The case against President Trump is being used by Alvin Bragg to make himself politically famous.
Charging President Trump with multiple 34 felonies to make yourself famous?
So what?
You can run for Attorney General or Governor of New York.
Hey, Mr. Biase, if you knew that, And you did nothing about it.
And now you're caught on camera admitting it to a pretty young girl in the mud club of Steven Crowder.
President Trump actually mentioned it earlier today.
He mentioned he gave thanks to Steven Crowder and his team.
Shouldn't you be saying it publicly?
I mean, really?
Is your job about justice?
Or not?
And you say privately, it's a travesty, it's quote-unquote disgusting, but you won't say it publicly?
Then haven't you foresworn that which you said you uphold when you became an official and the most powerful judicial entity in the world?
It goes to the substance of these people's souls.
Jeff, I was thinking this earlier today, and I don't know if you can help me.
I feel like I'm a pretty cynical, hard-bitten guy, but I'm thinking about Lauren Chen and
this tenant media thing.
And it's clear that she knew she was working for the Russians.
And from the communications in the indictment, she was telling one of the commentators, either Benny Johnson or Tim Paul, hey, you know that terrorist attack in Russia?
We want to spin it so it's not jihadis.
We want to say Ukraine's behind it.
And either Benny or Tim says, yeah, I can do that.
When you think that woman knew what she was doing, how do people do that?
I know I sound naive, but you know you're working for our enemies, and she's not, you know, selling the nuclear secrets to Stalin.
It's like Penny Annie stuff, but it hurts conservatives, it hurts President Trump.
What kind of person does that?
I think they just justify it.
It's like what type of politician says if you put them in office, I'm going to do this and this and this, and they have no intention of ever doing it.
Then they come back two years, and they lie to your face again, which we see all the time.
It's politics.
It happens all the time.
But she's not a politician.
But it's the same thing, though.
She's getting rich off of it.
It's the money.
It's the greed, like you said.
It's the money?
I think so, yeah.
Because they were paid way more than they would have been paid for that.
Right.
What is the point you made yesterday?
Paid way over market prices to put content on a website nobody visits.
Yeah, to compete with yourself.
Which makes no sense because they already had online platforms.
Right.
Yeah.
Do you think anybody in this comes out?
Because now Tim Pool says he's assisting the authorities and the FBI and he is a victim.
Does anybody come out of this smelling of roses?
No, because it's the bottom line.
They were so overly paid.
They know the market because they work in online content.
Right.
And sometimes with a startup you're going to get paid a little more to bring it to people.
But they were paid so much more than the value they were bringing.
They knew something had to be shady was going on.
Eric, do they walk away from this?
Does anybody walk away from this scandal?
And don't get me wrong, the DOJ is going to exploit this for political purposes.
They're already attacking real conservatives.
Russia, Russia, Russia.
But do the original Tim Pool, Benny Johnson, Lauren Southern, do they walk away from this?
I think they can ultimately claim enough plausible deniability to say that, you know, yeah, we were all duped by Lauren and her husband slash co-founder.
So, yeah, I think those two are the only ones who are going to face any repercussions.
The rest, they already, again, they have their own brands, their own built-in audiences.
But doesn't Tim, when we're going to play the clip of Tim Pool saying, Ukraine is the greatest threat to America!
Does he ever get to wash that off himself when we find out he's being paid by the Russians?
Probably not, because I think his audience agrees, mostly agrees with him on that stuff.
And they'll buy along, because again, the whole Russia thing has been used as a conspiracy theory for the longest time, so he can run with, oh this is just another conspiracy, just like they did to Trump.
We shall see, we shall see.
There's somebody out there who says, he knows what it's really all about.

We got you now.
Look at him!
He cleans up so nicely!
Look at him!
I try.
Are you still in LA?
Yeah, I just gave my speech and, uh, you know, you know, it's funny as I had one guy who, um, who was like, after, you know, I have any questions, he's like, well, I don't think you talk about misinformation when you work for Newsbacks.
Talk about missiles, man.
All right.
So what did you, I have to know, what did you respond?
I said, I talk about missiles.
You know?
Missiles don't care what political party you're on.
They just friggin', you know, like, what I said, is what I said, like, I talk about, like, uh, weapon systems and missiles.
Like, and the number of missiles Iran has.
Like, I go on and say, yes, Iran has 2,500 missiles.
Uh, 25,499, 25,498, 25,497, so.
25499, 25498, 25497.
So, and I haven't gotten anything from them recently, but I guess they're busy with the election.
There's not a lot of war stuff going on, you know?
Not at the moment, but that's good to know.
I'll get you back on my show so we can have other people complain at you at events.
That sounds good to me.
And I had one person, he said, well, I'm from Hawaii, and because I talk about how the Russians spread misinformation about the wildfires.
And, uh, I talk about Hawaii and this one woman said, no, it didn't work like that.
It was actually a power line blew over from the wind.
It wasn't lightning.
Okay.
Oh, let's talk about it.
Let's talk about the wildfires.
That's a good point.
And then one day we're going to go shooting.
I will do that with you.
Absolutely.
I also got, there was a Navy guy there.
Cool.
That is a cool path.
I told the, I told the owners of the, you know, the people who invited, because I was a last minute guest.
Um, like the original person who was going to do the speech dropped out and the woman who was sponsoring it was like, I need someone.
And she asked me if I would do it.
And I'm like, for $10,000, I'm going to do whatever.
Right.
Um, you know, I won't do it for Russia, but you know, she's like a portable, portable medical oxygen company.
All right.
You know, But more people came because they knew I was going to be there.
Good!
And I talked to the others at the conference and I'm like, I need to be a keynote speaker in Miami when you do this.
Love it.
Love it.
All right.
60 seconds.
Let's talk about the latest video and your point that you can work for other governments, but you can't hide it.
I think that's the big take home.
So you want to use the Tim Pool cut?
Go ahead.
Sorry, go ahead.
Car 15?
Yep, car 15.
You want us to Tim Pool cut?
I'll tee out the Tim Pool.
And you also want to use the image of the tweet of his that you sent me?
Show me, show me the image.
The Ukraine's our greatest ally now?
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Definitely, definitely.
Alright, 30 seconds.

Cut six.
And then in 2020, we kind of forget about this because Trump didn't win, but Ukrainian officials who were tied to Russian intelligence, according to whom?
According to Trump's own Treasury Department, were putting out disinformation about Joe Biden and Hunter Biden.
It didn't work, but it made the election close.
The right wing was amplifying this stuff, Rudy Giuliani and others, Fox News, over and over again.
Oh, so the Hunter laptop story is Russia, Russia.
I guess that guy's been in a cave for four years and the fact that the current Biden DOJ used the laptop in their case against Hunter Biden in Delaware is irrelevant.
Is there no end to the disinformation spiral?
Probably not, but we have an antidote.

over the tenant media scandal in which I am I am affected because they tried to recruit me and I thought hang on a second you can't tell me who your backers are and when you do it's non-existent people who have zero internet footprint that's very weird so tell us about your take about the indictment tenant media and these so-called conservative content providers and How they should have known better at the very least, Ryan?
It is a fascinating story and it involves, it's almost like a spy novel.
We're talking about, we have secret agents, we have money flowing in from different countries and secret bank accounts, we have Russian spies and Russian disinformation.
Essentially, this all goes back to the fact that RT, or Russia Today, is a Russian-backed News organization that tends to spin a lot of Russian propaganda.
And when the war in Ukraine started, a lot of American cable companies dropped RT from their lineup.
And some countries in Europe, which they can do this because they don't really have freedom of speech, just dropped, they just banned RT from being shown at all.
And so what RT decided to do was find some useful idiots in America.
And essentially, these were the founders of Tenet, Tenet Media, which was a company that was based in Tennessee that agreed to accept some money from this kind of shadowy power broker, this guy named Edward Gregarion.
And this person was supposedly going to fund this new media company to show new ideas to America.
And essentially, they were just going to repeat whatever RT wanted them to repeat.
So this Tenet media company went and grabbed about six influencers who had a already existing internet following and got these people to work for Tenet and make videos.
And the result was a lot of Russian propaganda being masqueraded as conservative ideals.
Go ahead, go ahead.
That wasn't entirely true.
Well, not entirely true, or just absolutely hyperbolic and garbage.
You made the comment about Tim Pool, who said the following, and you played the clip in the video, concerning the nation of the Ukraine.
Know it.
But I don't know that it matters anymore.
This is psychotic.
Ukraine is the enemy of this country.
Ukraine is our enemy, being funded by the Democrats.
I will stress again, one of the greatest enemies of our nation right now is Ukraine.
They are expanding this war.
Now don't get me wrong, I know.
You've got criminal elements of the U.S.
government pushing them and guiding them and telling them what to do.
Ukraine is now accused, a German warrant issued, for blowing up the Nord Stream pipeline.
Triggering this conflict!
Ukraine is the greatest threat to this nation and to the world.
We should rescind all funding and financing, pull out all military support, and we should apologize to Russia.
With a rising China, a nuclear threshold adjacent Iran, jihadis still doing their thing.
The statement that Ukraine is the greatest threat to America as you're getting, according to the indictment, five million dollars for one hour of podcasting a week.
Do you think there's some kind of connection there?
Or he's just, he posted today that he is being interviewed by the FBI as a victim Ryan.
Does that add up?
It is certainly somewhat suspicious.
I can tell you that, you know, one of the smartest things President Trump ever did was send javelins to Ukraine.
When President Obama was sending blankets and night vision goggles, President Trump had the foresight to make sure Ukraine got lethal aid to defend its borders.
So there is certainly some inconsistent messaging going on here.
And I could certainly see how if, look, if Five million dollars is a lot of money.
It's more money than I think I would ever see doing YouTube or traveling around giving speeches.
So, in some ways, I can understand why someone might not look too hard at where that money was coming from.
But, you know, in a case like that, I look at my country and I still believe in America and the ideals of America.
And, you know, every once in a while, United24, which is a Ukrainian news organization, they come to me and they say, hey, Ryan, let's collaborate.
And I say, no.
Because then I'll have to register as a foreign agent and no foreign country will be my mouthpiece.
Yeah, and this is such a crucial point that you can work for other governments but you've got to declare it if you want to and you've got to register.
The fact that he posted this on Twitter, I think it was today, let's put it up on the screen.
Tim Poole, upon reflection I now understand that Ukraine is our greatest ally.
So he's actually making jokes.
He says, I'm the victim and the FBI is going to investigate me!
And now he's saying, oh Ukraine is great now.
My comment to that, I retweeted that.
I say, I guess you've got a new sponsor, Tim.
The thing that these podcasters didn't do when I was And I thought, huh, you can't tell me who your backers are.
Oh, and then you give me a name that doesn't exist on the internet.
Thanks, but no thanks.

And my latest article went up late last night on my Substack.
SebastianGawker.substack.com This is a video of a man who has been in a wheelchair for a
long time.
He has been in a wheelchair for a long time, but he has never been in a wheelchair.
He has never been in a wheelchair.
Never surrender... The language to the left.
Yes, good.
And for Pavone... How we should talk about abortion.
So who was in the audience?
Was it mostly first responders or authorities?
Who was it?
Yeah, mostly first responders.
A couple of military first responders and the oxygen company was there because they have these portable oxygen tanks that you can carry in a backpack or whatever.
It's something.
It's not like a big oxygen tank, but it's something that you can use to revive someone.
It was mainly first responders or other people at the trade show who have some of these companies that deal in disaster response.
Have conservatives come after you now because of the Tenet post?
You know, I get it from both ends.
I have people saying, you know, Ryan McBeth is a flaming liberal and he's in the pocket of the Biden administration.
And I get stuff from the right saying, or from the left saying, Ryan McBeth is a, you know, a neocon shill.
You must be doing something right.
If you're pissing off everyone, you must be doing something right.
I must be, I must be.
What's funny, I was thinking, you know, it struck me, I should have called Jennifer and been like, oh, I should come on the show.
I was wondering, like, why is drive time, why is conservative drive time radio still a thing in California when you don't really hear about it anyplace else?
And it struck me because they're all going to work!
Right, because they've got jobs!
That's what I was thinking.
I will tell you, Walking outside in Los Angeles, you see people doing the fentanyl freaking fold all over the place here.
I don't go to Los Angeles.
I went to my buddy's house to pick him up like a year ago.
Come in with nine, please.
Yep.
And then I'll do... Car again.
Car again.
And he's in a really nice, he left, but he was in a really nice part of LA.
And I stuck my phone out the window because I swear I thought I was in Somalia.
It was just junkies and tents everywhere.
It's insane.
Yeah, I went to 7-Eleven to get coffee, because the hotel didn't have coffee until 6, and I was up at 4.30 in the morning, and, you know, time difference, right?
And I went to, like, these two homeless dudes came in and started robbing the 7-Eleven while I was checking out.
And, like, these two Indian guys, like, ran over, and they were trying to fight him, and I'm just checking out.
Were they strong-arming, or were they just pocketing stuff?
They just came in with bags and just started putting stuff in.
And they're like, you can't do that.
And what's funny is there's a security guard who's there's this big, you know, big Indian dude.
At a 7-Eleven?
Yeah, it was right across the street on Flower Street, right across from my hotel.
The area here, it's, it's, there's a lot of addicts here.
And I'm thinking like, how is this better than treatment?
Like, I don't know why this is okay.
You know, I don't want to write these people off.
It doesn't make any sense.
Stand by.
And it's really unfortunate that the former president of the United States, who was the
former president, Donald Trump, told Republicans in the Senate that they weren't allowed to
vote for this.
And the reason is, he realizes that he needed this for the election.
So he doesn't actually want to solve this problem, he just wants to talk about the problem.
Or take a picture at the border, which is what we've seen from him, and we've seen this from J.D.
Vance.
Right.
I was in the Trump administration.
The only thing we did, Eric, is take photographs of the border, right?
When we were in the White House.
Yeah, photographs in front of 500 miles of a wall that the president built.
And where do we know these reports that President Trump killed that amazing border bill?
Where do those reports come from?
Where's the evidence of that?
The single greatest source of information in modern media, anonymous sources.
Love those anonymous sources.
They're always so busy.
Disinformation is everywhere.
We have to fight it.
But first, you have to look after yourself.
It's not just information.
It's real security.
Carl Firearms is there for you.
Their CEO, Justin Moon, who revolutionized the concealed carry weapon.
There's a reason I carry a 9mm car everywhere.
He understands the Second Amendment is the first civil right that makes all the others possible, and they stand with us here at America First.
So grateful to Car Firearms.
Check out their amazing line of weapons at KAHR.com, including the iconic Desert Eagles, the Deagle.
They're really fun.
Not good for concealed carry, but if you're a big dude like me, maybe.
And then the historic inter-ordinance, the M1 Carbine, the Tommy Gun and the venerable 1911.
Go to KAHR.com today, that's KAHR.com.
We're back with, I'm sorry, he's just in the open source world.
He's the best expert out there on disinformation right now.
That's the reason that they hired him at Newsmax and he is always welcome here in our studio.
Ryan Macbeth, go to Ryan Macbeth Programming right now on YouTube, follow him.
on Twitter at Ryan Macbeth. You're at a fascinating event, Ryan, that, you know, I'm a former MI guy
and, you know, studied Soviet desinformatsia, written about it, but you opened up this whole
can of worms and I think that's why you're there to discuss this topic of disinformation,
not in wartime, not with espionage, but in natural disasters. Tell us more.
Absolutely. So one of the big problems that we're going to see in the future is foreign actors,
Russia, China, Iran, and to a lesser extent North Korea, using disinformation during a natural disaster.
And specifically, I came to California to speak about disinformation during wildfires.
During the Hawaii wildfires, one of the things that Russian agents did was they tried to tie the wildfire aid in with Ukraine by saying that People were only getting $700 payments for losing their house, but meanwhile we're sending $60 billion worth of aid to Ukraine.
And the truth was that, yes, FEMA was handing out $700 gift cards, but those were temporary payments for someone to go get a hotel, get their clothes changed, get some medication, and then they come back the next day.
It's a stopgap measure, right?
Exactly.
Here's a gift card.
You lost everything.
Here's a gift card.
Get some clothes.
And then they come back the next day.
And Russia said, hey, the reason people aren't getting more money is because it's all going to Ukraine.
And people like Tulsi Gabbard started repeating this.
Tulsi Gabbard is from Hawaii.
She could have picked up the phone and called someone and asked.
So one of our big fears is that foreign disinformation agents, they're not just going to do that.
But they're going to actively try to get people killed by doing things like putting out tweets saying, go down this route.
This is a safe route to leave the forest fire.
And actually they're leading them into the forest fire.
So what do we do about that?
We've got to follow you on YouTube, but there's not enough of you out there.
So is there some institutional defense against this?
I mean, there's really no institutional defense, because remember that we still have free speech in the U.S., and even lying is considered protected speech.
However, one of the things that I suggested in this presentation was CAL FIRE needs to come up with an app That can give people the correct information or a chat bot on that app where they can say what is the correct route out of here or where is the fire going and get actual information from CAL FIRE instead of relying on the internet where people may be trying to mislead you so that you die and the government gets blamed.
Well, I know you're a cyber guy, you know this stuff.
That shouldn't be too much of a heavy lift, right?
Creating apps for real-time information should be doable.
We're in California.
I think every sixth person here has a company that builds an app.
This is within our wheelhouse to do, right?
I mean, ideally, there's that.
We can collaborate with some of these social media companies.
Take Mark Zuckerberg.
Say, hey, Mark, come to an earthquake rescue session.
You know, see how we operate as first responders.
And then maybe Facebook might be more amenable to finding disinformation during a national disaster and stopping it before people start acting on bad advice.
Be aware of those who are peddling disinformation.
Follow this man, especially for the latest analysis on the tenant media scandal.

Tenet Media, colon.
Hello?
Alright, Mr. Pollock.
Want the mics off?
Yeah, off.
Okay, Mike's You
You You
We should thank the good Lord that for the time being we remain the freest nation on God's green earth.
And why is that?
Because of the Second Amendment.
It guarantees that you are the last line of defense against dictatorship.
Carl Firearms and Justin Moon, their amazing CEO, get that.
And that's why they stand with us here at America First.
Check out their amazing line of weapons.
I carry a 9mm car every single day, but they also own the iconic Hollywood legend that is the Desert Eagle line of weapons and the historic auto audience including the M1 carbine, the venerable Tommy
Gunn, and the iconic 1911.
Thank you, Car Firearms. Go today. KAHR.com. That's KAHR.com.
President Trump has just started talking to a group of the Fraternal Order of Police
in Charlotte, North Carolina.
We might be able to take a bit of that in the next segment, but it is the Second Amendment
Friday segment, and we have to talk about the latest news.
We have this post from CNN, such a devious bunch of scumbags.
This is the image of the Georgia school shooter.
Turns out, of course, he was known by the FBI, reported to the FBI, apparently did nothing, and on the account associated with the killer, listen to this.
The account referenced Adam Lanza, the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooter, and in separate posts shared a desire to target an elementary school.
So said, I'm going to target an elementary school.
Now listen to this.
This is The reason you don't hate the media enough.
CNN writes, the account of the shooter expressed frustration with the acceptance of transgender people.
What does that sound like?
Frustration with the acceptance, meaning he doesn't like transgender people being accepted in society?
Well no, CNN is lying.
If you read the actual posts, The killer said that transgender Americans aren't being adequately accepted.
So another case of a trans killer, transgender terrorist.
What can we do to protect our children from another event like that or such as occurred at the Parkland school shooting?
Let's ask a good friend of the show who Well, this is what he does every single day, protecting our children.
Andrew Pollack, welcome back to America First.
Everybody needs to read your book, Why Meadow Died, the people and policies that created the Parkland shooter and endanger America's students.
Mr. Pollack, so your first reaction, of course, I presume you're not surprised that the authorities knew about this killer and even the FBI had been informed more than a year ago.
Correct.
And you said what parents could do, and the first thing parents should do is get involved and know who's in their child's school board and who's running their district.
That's so important.
But it was no surprise.
You know, a lot of these shooters, the kids know who they're going to be.
The FBI was warned about it.
The sheriff's department was warned about it.
And it brought back a lot of memories of what happened to me and my beautiful daughter, Meadow, when she was murdered.
You know, back then the FBI had been called twice and been warned about the shooter and they didn't follow up on it.
And the same thing with the sheriff's office.
They've been out, they were out to the shooter's house 45 times and never arrested.
So, it brings back memories to me and the FBI Went to this person's house, spoke with the father.
The father didn't lock up the weapons, which is tragic.
You know, we all believe in responsible gun ownership.
We all love our guns.
But this father, knowing the FBI came to his house, the sheriff came to his house, telling him that their son is posting about shooting up schools, gave his son access Do his firearms, which is horrible.
And I'd like to know what the school district knew about this young man.
So where do you stand?
He's now been charged with four counts of, I think, manslaughter, or some kind of very serious charge related to his son's murders.
What do you think?
I mean, in the past, the left tried to come after the gun manufacturers.
Now they're going after this parent.
In this case, they knew it was a problem, and he gives his son a 14-year-old rifle.
Your response, Mr. Pollack?
Throw the book at this guy.
You know, those parents, like I tell it a lot of times, my life will never be the same since my daughter was murdered.
And now you have, well, two children and two teachers that were killed in Georgia.
And it shouldn't have happened.
So their lives will never be the same.
This father should have been a responsible gun owner and had him locked up, especially knowing the posts that his son made.
And I'd like to see why, you know, in Florida, we've made so many changes and I wish states would follow what we did in Florida.
If a student makes a threat in Florida, They get arrested.
So I don't know what happened in Georgia and a lot of other things.
I know we both love President Trump.
President Trump, I worked with President Trump and we put together an office of school safety where President Trump put a commission together with over 100 recommendations that parents could read online.
This administration probably took it down, but he recommended Not having these liberal restorative justice programs in place, that school has it, he recommended that teachers should be able to go for training and be armed.
There hasn't been one school shooting in America where teachers are able to go through an extensive course and be able to carry a firearm in school.
Not one.
You are traveling the country right now.
I see one of your assistants in the back of your vehicle.
You also understand the wondrous thing that is a Belgian Shepherd.
I think we have the photograph of Sonny, your caniner.
There he is on the back seat!
Absolutely fabulous.
We salute that canine.
Tell us about what you do right now.
We've got a minute left.
Andrew Pollack, FL, is the account to follow on X. And how do you help schools, synagogues, and churches, Mr. Pollack?
Sure.
I work with the NRA.
It's a community shield program.
And what we do is we could go around to your church, temple or synagogue and help you to prevent shootings, to mitigate them before they happen.
And we do that free of charge at the NRA.
And I'd love to come out.
We go to schools.
Throughout the whole country that would want our help.
We train your staff what to look for in case of a shooting and to be proactive.
Whenever it comes to security you need to be proactive.
So I do that with the NRA and I also have a company that we can help with with software.
So just reach out to me at my ex at Andrew Pollack FL and I'd be happy to help any school, temple or church in the country.
Well, we have some photographs of your beautiful daughter, Meadow.
We will keep her in our prayers.
You need to read the book, Why Meadow Died, and reach out to Mr. Pollock, Andrew Pollock, FL, to secure your community.
God bless you, sir.

Because people are walking in just taking as much as they want.
I don't know if you know that in San Francisco, which this woman, our opponent, I would say our opponent.
I think we can.
Anybody in favor of her in this room, by the way?
Let me just.
OK, then I can safely say our opponent.
But she.
Now, she destroyed.
She destroyed San Francisco, but she came up with a great idea.
You can steal as much as you want, up to $950.
And nothing happens to you.
After that, nothing happens to you, also.
When you think of it, really nothing happens to you no matter what the hell you do.
Unless you happen to be running for office and you accuse the election of being fraudulent, then a lot of things happen.
Okay?
But other than that, nothing happens.
Think of that.
950.
So guys are walking in with calculators.
You have criminals walking in.
They're adding it up because they know if they stay below.
950, can you believe it?
950 is like a lot of money, isn't it?
Under the Harris regime, 99% of law-abiding citizens suffer while criminals run free, and our country is plagued into... President Trump talking now, Charlotte, North Carolina, the Fraternal Order of Police, after he has been endorsed by them.
Oh, I wonder why he's been endorsed, because they're not allowed to do their jobs.
Just the insanity.
Of Kamala San Francisco.
Steal anything up to $1,000 and it's not stealing.
And I don't even think George Orwell came up with that, did he?
He couldn't have imagined that.
Sheer insanity.
On the election, my good friend, who says he's not a conservative, but I think deep down he really is, the great Constantine Kissin just posted this, and it's all you need to know.
And I think people need to recognize now that the choice is between someone who they may disagree with politically, but who is capable of wielding the tremendous power that that office holds, and someone who's not.
And I try to really stay out of electoral politics and not give my particular take.
I have to say, I think a Trump presidency would be infinitely better than what we've had for the last four years.
Not because I agree with every policy position or the style or any of the rest of it, but I just think the leader of the free world should be capable of discharging those duties.
And so to the extent that it seems like President Biden or whoever it is that runs in his stead is likely to lose, then that's a moment of hope for me because I think there's some big problems in the world that need fixing.
Jeff, isn't that good for somebody who says they're not a conservative?
Yes, and it's very simple.
One person's capable, one person's not.
It's that easy.
One guy should be president and can be, the other can't.
Oh my gosh, how on earth did we get here?

Thanks for watching.
Don't touch that dial.
you you
you of all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world
She walks in a mine.
you Impressive.
Most impressive.
See things you people wouldn't believe.
See things you people wouldn't believe.
When you talk to God, that's what you do.
Let's go see him together.
What's it like in California?
Are the Indians troublesome?
No.
Then who is there to fight?
No one.
Then what will you do with a spur of yours, my cockerel?
This.
Leave it there.
you And when you see it, think of me.
A land of gentle missions, happy peons, sleepy cavalieros, and everlasting boredom.
Wine!
That is the beginning in Madrid at the Academy with a man who would become, I don't know, the inspiration for so many other heroes, including someone called Bruce Wayne.
Is it possible?
He is the masked man Zorro, 1940 Tyrone Power.
A choice of a special guest.
First, let's introduce my co-host, the one and only Chris Coles of the Mr. Reagan channel.
Are you related to Tyrone Power, Chris Coles?
I don't believe so, but I have been told by a little old man one day, many years ago, he said, you look like Tyrone Power.
And I didn't know who that was, Tyrone Power.
So I went ahead and I looked him up and I thought, you know what?
Yeah, a little bit.
I could be related to this guy.
Absolutely.
That is quite the compliment.
How did we get to choose this movie?
Well, when he's usually in the studio as one of our most sagacious guests, we talk geopolitics, the state of the media, but he knows a thing or two about good movies.
He is the CEO, the president of Zenga News, Zenga.News.
Rich Mineta, welcome back for a very different kind of discussion.
Well, happy to be here.
All right, so let's start with your choice.
You gave me a list of classic movies that we have to discuss here.
Let's start with Why the Mark of Zorro.
Well, this 1940 movie, the black and white in the original, is actually a movie for our time.
Think about it.
The guy goes away to school and he comes back and his hometown of Los Angeles, California in the Spanish colonial period has changed.
His father and the founding fathers are no longer in charge.
There's no longer peace.
There's no longer justice.
And by and by, he discovers how much things have changed, and how peasants who want to speak out against the high taxes, the corruption, are whipped in public, and their money is confiscated, and they are destroyed.
They are cancelled, in a word.
And he decides, rather than to attack them directly, as the village priest and his own father wants to do, but to attack indirectly.
Very much like a Greek hero.
Like Odysseus returning from the Odyssey.
Yes!
Disguised as a beggar.
Disguised as a beggar, recognized only by his dog, Argos, according to the Odyssey, who then takes the measure of all the enemies and tricks them, and then pulls out his sword and gets into one of the epic battles in the Odyssey.
And this is something very similar here, where by day he appears to be an effete gentleman, not manly at all.
In fact, both women and men find him disgusting, how weak he is.
And this is another politically incorrect theme here, how manliness, strength, not abuse, not oppressiveness, but a quiet, calm confidence is what a true man is.
And he is confident enough to appear weak, to appear stupid, to appear tepid, to pick a word from the movie.
To trick the bad guys.
We'll talk about the duality of the hero, Don Diego, but let's talk about what he finds, like Odysseus coming back home to his island.
This is the arrival of the lost son, and he wants to get a ride to his father's estate, but there's a problem.
What's going on with this country?
Have you all gone mad?
Listen, you, find speech or I'll cut out your tongue.
You are too late, senor.
Your good father has already attended to that.
Father, what are you talking about?
I'm sorry, senor, but at a meeting of the peons, this man spoke against the heavy taxes.
The next day, the soldiers of his excellency cut out his tongue.
I swear it is true!
Chris, what about this take from Rich that this may be 1940, maybe potentially a B-movie, as Rich said to me, a B-movie with A-list themes, but a movie with lots of messages for us in 2024.
Yeah, I mean, there's so many so many parallels that I really love this film.
And I mean, I suppose it's partly because when I was like a little boy, these kinds of films would come on television.
And I do have a kind of a nostalgia for watching these these things.
But also, it's not just about the messaging within the film.
I mean, he touched upon a lot of, Rich touched upon a lot of very important themes, but also the narrative themes.
I believe that this is a kind of a copy of a character called the Scarlet Pimpernel, which came out just earlier, just a little bit earlier than this film.
And then you can really get a sense of Robin Hood.
I mean, you know, they're overtaxing the poor members of society.
You know, Robin Hood comes in and he takes that tax money back and redistributes it among the people.
You know, lesser taxes.
I've always thought Robin Hood was a conservative hero.
And here we have Zorro doing the same thing.
You know, it was an absolute joy to watch this.
I'd never seen this film And every bit of it, from the beginning to the end, was really truly enjoyable.
You know, you had a love story.
You had, you know, the swashbuckling adventure.
You had the sword fighting.
And you even had a relationship with the parents, which was interesting.
You don't often see that with these hero films.
And of course, you can see the parallels with a lot of the films today.
Like Batman, almost all superheroes now have a secret identity.
and it sort of started with Scarlett Pimpernel.
But this was really, I think, the film that solidified that kind of character.
And just for the real geeks out there, not just parallels to other stories,
it is the mark of Zorro that the Wayne family leaves from watching in the movie theater
before they are executed in front of the young Bruce Wayne.
So there's a very tangible connection.
Rich, talk to us about this idea, maybe the Joseph Campbell Hero of a Thousand Faces, that this is just another story we've seen so often.
Originally, it's a serial, The Curse of Capistrano, but it's Robin Hood, it's the Scarlet Pimpernel.
There seems to be these eternal themes that when they come back, they just satisfy us again and again.
Well, there's this American longing that a hero will emerge out of the public the way a righteous juror insists on a man's innocence against the convention and sets things right.
And then when he is done, he returns.
The last scene of the movie is important.
He doesn't say that he's going to rule in his father's place.
He puts his father in charge and his plan is to get married and have fat children and enjoy his vineyards in California.
And he specifically says fat children.
And the woman who plays his future wife is nodding in agreement.
That's her plan too.
So the idea that the hero returns to the public.
He serves.
He takes great risks.
He's daring.
He's clever.
But when he's done his duty, he has no desire to rule over people.
And this is also a fundamental American story.
Getting back to the parallels of Robin Hood, Astute's viewers may have noticed that the actor who plays the Catholic priest is the same one who plays Friar Tuck in the Errol Flynn Robin Hood three years earlier.
Also, Basil Rathbone is Guy of Gisborne, so we have that connection.
So we have the same actors from Robin Hood in this movie as well.
Yes, different director, I think different studio.
But why are the Hollywood studios making these movies with anti-corruption, anti-tax messages in the late 1930s and early 1940s before we enter World War II?
And the reason is... Now hold on, that's a great, great question.
I want us to dive deep on.
These topics, which are more than relevant than ever, especially today, and why they were doing this in 1940.
We're talking the Mark of Zorro, the original 1940 from Ruben Mamoulian, the Armenian-Georgian director.
Tyrone Power, Basil Rathbone, we haven't even mentioned Basil Rathbone, one of my favorite actors.

Your name, senor?
He claims to be the son of Alcalde!
I claim nothing!
I am Diego Vega, son of His Excellency Don Alejandro.
And this, although I find it greatly changed, is my home!
Your pardon, Don Diego!
I've not heard of your returning!
Welcome to California!
I'm Capitain Esteban Pascual,… …Military Aide to the Alcalde!
I'm honored, Capitan!
But bewildered!
Tell me, why has my father turned his home into a barracks?
Conditions have changed since you left, Don Diego!
Your father… …resigned!
The absolutely superlative Basil Rathbone, with a less-than-Spanish accent, who is the capitan of the man who really runs Los Angeles in the absence of the former alcalde, a man who I just adore in all of his Sherlock Holmes movies.
We shall unpack his role and that amazing fencing sequence in a moment.
But first, a very special offer from my former boss, President Trump.
Listen to your potential next dinner.

I don't know about you, Rich, but Basil Rathbone may as well have been one of my uncles in my child.
Just a fixture.
Black and white reruns on BBC, Sherlock Holmes, a central part of this movie, no?
Absolutely.
And a great villain.
And you have to, it's not a modern movie, you have to listen closely to the verbal fencing that occurs throughout the movie between these characters.
The pauses, the little twists of wordings, the way he insults him at the dinner table and then pretends that he's just being a wit.
On the whole, of course, the audience is waiting for the big fencing duel between the two of them.
And look at the difference between how this sword fight occurs and the one that occurs between Kenobi and Darth Vader in Star Wars.
In that, in this one, just like in the Errol Flynn Robin Hood, they're using the scenery as a kind of geography in which they're constantly trying to force the other into uncomfortable positions and forcing them to be acrobatic, the way like a Charlie Chan movie would be today.
And, sorry, Jimmy Chan.
Anyway, you know what I mean.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
That's something we do, that acrobatic nature we don't see.
And the whole time there's this witty repartee going on between the two of them.
It's two actors at their finest in a great B-movie scene.
We're playing the footage right now for our viewers.
Chris, I don't know about you, but there wasn't a lot of acting going on in this fencing scene.
These guys were going at it, in my opinion.
Yeah.
I mean, it looks like, uh, you know, they, these guys really know how to fence and they're going for it.
I mean, I assume it's choreographed, but it looks fantastic.
Uh, and there was so much, and he's absolutely right.
Rich is absolutely right about the, the verbal fencing that was going on.
Right.
Uh, there was this, it was actually an excellent, uh, script.
The dialogue was just so brilliant and beautiful and just well-written.
I particularly like the moment when he's playing the fop, when he's playing the dandy, and he's pretending to be a feat and a weak type character.
It's so funny to watch that.
There's so many genuinely funny scenes.
I was laughing out loud at this film, watching it, as he pretends to be weak.
And his father, of course, is very disappointed in him.
And even by the end of the film, the father is like, what are you talking about?
He can't be Zoro.
My son's a total pussy.
But the funny thing about it, and as I was watching that set up for he comes back to Los Angeles and he plays this effete wet person, there's no preparation.
He doesn't give us a hint.
He comes there and plays the effete person as he's Zorro in the background.
It's as if the writers expected us to just understand what was going on, Rich.
They did.
They actually had a higher opinion of their audience than modern filmmakers, right?
People can work things out.
And if you look at the beginning where he's first rowed ashore and he meets the initial people in his hometown in California, he goes to his old house expecting it still to be his family house.
He's quite bold.
He's quite confident.
And then he susses out the situation and he realizes that he must approach it in a totally different way.
But even fooling those closest to him... Even his parents, right?
His parents and his family priests are openly disgusted with him.
They despise his weakness.
They think that Madrid and the academy has ruined him the way a child coming home from a poor university suddenly seems like a different person.
And they're not happy about it.
But they don't bang the audience over the head with, oh, here's my plot.
I will pretend not to be a threat.
He just does it, and we are respected as viewers.
Yes.
And we're thrilled and delighted when he's able to finally tell the truth.
But he asks his mother, in so many words, to trust him, that he's up to something, but doesn't reveal what the plan is.
And she starts to understand that there's something a little bit more going on here.
The wonderful dinner scene where he's playing the fop, the dandy, the dilettante.
And the woman, Lolita, who's in love with Zorro, starts talking about what a real man is like.
He's like a lion.
Oh, speaking of that Zorro, Excellency, could you provide me with an escort home?
Certainly.
On the way here, I fancied that cutthroat lurking in every shadow.
I was positively unnerved.
How distressing.
Apparently, you don't approve of my request, Signorita.
But you called our hero a cutthroat.
Santa Maria!
Have you met the fellow?
I've never so much as seen his face.
I happen to admire courage.
Dashing about with a cutlass is quite out of fashion.
Hasn't been done since the Middle Ages.
It seems to be quite effective.
He is like a lion among a lot of frightened sheep.
Um, Rit, sorry, Chris.
That actress, Linda Donald, do you know how old she was when she made this movie?
She's supposed to be 17.
She does look young.
I don't have no idea.
She's 17.
I was blown away.
She's acting for one of the few times in movie history they're playing their age.
And not bad.
I mean, you're an actor.
You're a director.
You've written screenplays.
Not bad for a 17-year-old, right?
Oh, phenomenal.
I thought she was absolutely delightful from the beginning to the end of the film.
I thought, yeah, this is the girl that you, you know, you would want to be with in that town.
And, you know, it makes sense.
You believe that he would fall in love with her and you believe that she's falling in love with him.
And to me, that's actually very difficult for actors.
There's a lot of films that I've watched in my life when the protagonist is supposed to fall in love with a girl, the girl's supposed to fall in love with him, and you don't really buy it.
You kind of go along with it, but it doesn't affect you.
This, you really felt like these two people are falling in love as quickly as it was.
It felt very naturalistic, very realistic.
You know, it was a great story.
She was Maid Marian, right?
I mean, you can find analogues to all the Robin Hood characters in this, and she's Maid Marian.
She does a great job.
With another evil uncle, just as in Robin Hood.

I wanted to return to the themes, especially the overtaxation themes that you mentioned at the beginning of our review, Rich, but you wanted to say something about Lolita?
Yes, the senorita, that is the love interest of Zorro.
There's something profoundly anti-modern that is casually used in this movie, and that is this idea that women, before they love, they must first admire.
And you see the scene, which you didn't share yet, of her praying for a husband in the chapel, and then Zorro appears dressed as a missionary priest and has an interesting conversation with her.
Desiring someone who is brave and kind and hopefully handsome.
And here, in this dinner scene, she's talking about someone who is a strong man in the face of a bunch of frightened sheep.
And she's utterly disgusted by the fop.
Uh, that Diego was playing.
The weak, effeminate, tepid man.
Because she longs for something stronger.
These are simply desires, which are natural to the human condition, especially among women, that don't appear in modern movies.
And this is a B-movie.
This was written and shot in a few weeks.
It was not designed to be a classic.
It wasn't designed to send an important message.
But it was something that they knew would resonate with their audience and it resonates with us today.
But it's interesting how modern filmmakers never seem to touch on this.
How strange.
Let's play that scene when Zorro is trying to escape.
He disguises himself as one of the missionary friars and gets into a conversation with Lolita in the convent in the little chapel.
I want to meet young people.
Girls of my own age.
No one ever comes here.
The Caballeros avoid this place like the pest house.
Why?
They... They hate my Uncle Luis.
You know, I... I feel that there's something wrong about him.
Decidedly wrong.
What do you think?
Well... People hate him, as you say.
You have your answer there.
Well, I was right.
Perhaps I should be glad my Auntie Mace is sending me to a convent.
Oh, no.
No, don't be glad about that.
I mean, uh...
Probably.
Your aunt feels that... that atmosphere is better for a young girl, but I'm convinced that... Oh, Ines!
Oh, no.
No, that's not why she's sending me.
No?
No.
Maria says she's jealous.
She says it's because I'm... good-looking.
Maria has excellent eyesight.
Don't go to a convent!
Don't do that!
I'm... Sorry, did I say that?
I'm a priest.
Talk to us about the themes of overtaxation that echo Robin Hood and his band of merry men as well.
Also noticed in this conversation the sub-theme of inter-female competition and women purposely giving each other bad advice.
This would not occur in a modern movie.
Right!
Movies of this period are time machines.
They're windows into an earlier time, an earlier way of thinking.
Some of it really benighted, but some of it truly insightful and interesting.
We've got a minute left.
Why in 1940 is there this message of against overtaxation?
So all of the movie studios, with the exception of Warner Brothers, was against FDR in 1932.
They, believe it or not, would back the Republican candidate.
Uh, and in 1936, all of the movie studios, including Warner Brothers, were opposed to the New Deal, and again in 1940.
They saw it as a source of high taxes, of corruption, so they were making these films, like Robin Hood, like Zorro, yes, to make money, yes, to entertain people, but they also had a corporate message against the New Deal very subtly woven in.
And let's just say, maybe, You know, Plato was right in that all movies are propaganda, all entertainment is propaganda.
But in this case, it's a more subtle form of propaganda than the modern version.
How Hollywood has changed.
An anti-overtaxation message from the studios in unison and not even very subtle in this case in the mark of zero 1940 Tyrone Powers.
Make sure you have seen it recently.
I'd forgotten it.
I'd seen it many, many times in my childhood, but it truly is a classic.
This is Making Movies Great Again, coming to you from just outside the insalubrious, fetid, rank, malodorous, noisome, ghastly swamp that is Washington, D.C., from the relieffactor.com studios.

But you must have had the equality at your mercy when you took the gold and the necklace from him.
I would have snuffed him out like a candle.
God forgive me.
If that were accomplished, nothing another just like him would take his place.
I see.
I see everything.
Diego, don't deceive your father any longer.
It's not fair to him.
I don't like doing it, Padre, believe me.
But I must.
My father's such a stickler for law and order that I'm afraid he might spoil all the fun.
That is the great Eugene Pallett, the voice instantly recognizable as Friar Tuck from the Robin Hood movie of the same era, this time playing Friar Felipe, telling the Don Diego character, stop deceiving your father.
Tell him who you are, that you're Zorro.
And he says, no, he's too much of a stickler for the rules.

Chris, Rich has noted that there are a lot of themes here that would not be found in a modern movie today.
One of the ones I found all the more fascinating, and you mentioned it early on, is the relationship between the returning son and the patriarch.
He doesn't let the patriarch in on the deal.
He risks his life without telling him.
The mom, he says, hey mom, don't worry, it's okay.
Talk to us about this unusual familial relationship at the center of the Mark of Zorro.
Yeah, you know, you can tell that his father raised him right.
But, and his father's very disappointed that he feels like his son has veered off the path of what he had originally taught him.
But you know, you know, so there's a little bit of comedy there.
It's a little bit of fun.
But you know, deep down at the core, there is that father-son relationship that's so important in the world.
And the reality is, back then, people would have understood that.
That's not something that we have to, like, convince people of, like we have to do today.
What I really love in this film is the theme of political corruption, because it resonates so strongly with me, you know?
Like, I sometimes feel like you and I are in a war, right?
And we are sort of champions for a particular side.
And I tend to view it as, you know, we're fighting against the evil corruption of, you know, the villainy in Washington, D.C.
And that's exactly what's going on here in this film.
And it's really, if you want to see what's going on in Washington, D.C.
today, watch this movie.
You know, it's a little bit of a throwback, but, you know, heck, it really resonated with me.
And just that simple theme of good fighting evil, that's always something that I think everybody can get behind.
And you get excited and you want to see the hero win.
And so it's a lot of fun, this movie.
Rich, you gave me a full exegesis by text of the multiple themes that make this movie so relevant today, even 64 years later.
Bad math.
84 years later.
That's incredible.
Including the role of the church as a kind of buffer against the corrupt state.
Talk to us about this one aspect of displacing or getting around a corrupt elite with indirect assaults.
I thought that was very perceptive.
Well, in failing societies, you get first direct resistance, and then you get a withdrawal.
People pull back and refuse to participate.
And that is a society that's always on its way to collapse.
But to rescue that is this idea of a hero who comes and is wise enough not to go directly against the Alcante and challenge him to a sword fight.
Does he be crushed?
Well, and he would be, the priest says it, he says it to the priest in the scene where he says, if we just killed him in the carriage, he would be replaced by another just like him.
Right.
We need him to resign.
So, unsaid, but clear from the movie, we need him to resign and to name the rightful leader as back in charge.
And that can only be done with a resignation letter, not with a murder.
And also left unsaid is that if you replace bad leaders by violent means, you create a society in which succession is always determined by violent overthrow.
And that is not a better society.
It is one in which the forms of law and order are still followed.
He will resign, not be killed.
And there is no love of massacre, of killing.
This is not a movie about vengeance.
It's about justice.
It's about justice, but also, to your point, it's about justice that is intelligently acquired.
Right.
There's nothing suicidal.
There's nothing vicious.
It's justice that is done in a clever way.
And as you said, the friar said, I could have strangled him.
Okay, well, then they just replace it with another corrupt official.
We're making movies great again.
It is the Mark of Zorro 1940.

Chapel?
About not hiding such beauty in a convent.
What did you say?
You're more lovely, more radiant than a morning in June.
No, Shirley, I must be dreaming.
You are Zorro.
Yes, Lolita.
In order to accomplish what I set out to do, I've had to deceive a great many people, including you.
You're Zorro?
Yes, indeed he is, Zorro, setting up a slew of sequels, remakes, Batman, you name it, and of course, echoing the themes of Robin Hood.
A movie that is so relevant to today when we have so much corruption and half of the nation insane or in a cult.
How did we get here?
Check out Katie's new book with Mike Gonzales, Next Gen Marxism, What It Is and How to Combat It.
That's Next Gen Marxism, Katie Gawker and Mike Gonzales.
All right, final thoughts?
From our co-hosts, Rich and Chris.
For me, I think we just have to mention, I'm sorry, can we talk about the horse jumping off the bridge like 60 foot up?
That was not CGI.
That was real.
That was stunning.
If you haven't seen the movie, watch it.
Just a lot of fun.
Final things we need to know about this movie or celebrate with regards to this movie, Rich?
Well, keep in mind when they were protesting taxes in America at that time, the top income tax rate had climbed to 91%.
Wow.
So it was almost complete confiscation.
And so this is a theme that resonated up and down the economy and the social ladder.
But notice also the intolerance for the lack of strong men, especially among women, in this movie.
This is something you just don't see in a modern movie.
Both men and women, even the priest, is disgusted, but most especially the 17-year-olds.
By weak men, by fops.
They're disgusted by the weak men.
Chris final thoughts cost a million bucks who is talking about the money made double that made two million So not bad.
What else do we need to recall and celebrate?
Look in a modern film you're going to usually get a fairly complex story sometimes a bit of a convoluted story There's multiple characters multiple themes in this film.
I You're looking at some simple themes and a relatively simple story, but it feels fleshed out.
It feels like a whole world.
They did a really great job with this.
And sometimes you just want to go back to those traditional values, simple ideas, good versus evil.
And, you know, to me, this is one of the best films I feel like we've reviewed.
I absolutely love this.
Wow.
All right.
Well, we've got 60 seconds left.
The unit of measure is rapiers.
Spanish rapiers made in Toledo.
Out of 10.
How many out of 10 do you give Mark of Zorro?
What's your score out of 10?
Well, I always score this 8 out of 10.
8 out of 10.
You're going to do it for a modern audience.
Chris, what do you give it?
Yeah, I think that people are going to love this.
I say everyone should watch it.
Ten out of ten.
All right, I do it for the canon of all movies.
