	Nothing like this has ever happened before in American history, even during the presidency of Richard Milhouse Nixon.
	They didn't do this to him during Watergate.
	Despite the fact that in February the same agency that used this raid as a pretext to attack the President, the National Archives, went to Mar-a-Lago, to the Trump residence, and removed 15 boxes allegedly of classified documents, they needed to do it again.
	I'm going to talk to you about The technical aspects of what happened, so you will know when you are being lied to.
	I served in the Trump White House as Deputy Assistant to the President for Strategy.
	As a result of that political commission, yes, that is what we were called, politically commissioned officers of the President, I had to undergo a background investigation and acquire a top-secret SCI clearance.
	The clearance system in America, it's different in other countries, has a very specific genesis and purpose.
	The intelligence communities, the 17 big agencies, there are many many other small ones inside various departments and armed services, but the 17 American federal intelligence agencies serve one person in government.
	Their job is to provide intelligence, raw or finished intelligence, To help the President of the United States make national security and foreign policy decisions.
	That is the only reason they exist.
	In fact, the whole classification system for documents, for clearances, exists for the President.
	It doesn't serve the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs.
	It is not subordinate to the Speaker of the House or the Vice President.
	It serves the President.
	That is why, for example, The president can give a clearance to anyone he wishes to.
	Likewise, he can strip.
	Only he can strip a clearance from anybody he wants to.
	If he wants to give his best buddy from high school a top-secret SCI code word SAP program clearance, he can.
	He can just click his fingers and make it happen because the system works for him.
	It is predicated.
	It exists to serve him in protecting America as the Commander-in-Chief.
	Likewise, should he wish to strip someone in federal government in the Executive as the Chief Executive, he can strip them instantly.
	The idea that a president or former president is misusing classified information is impossible.
	He could wrap his fish and chips in classified information if he wanted to.
	He could declassify, in theory, every single classified document or piece of information in U.S.
	government.
	It would cause chaos, but he has the power to do so.
	Secondly, something you will not understand or hear from the mainstream media is the question of legacy clearances.
	I still have my clearance.
	Not because I was a former deputy assistant to the president, but because before my clearance expired after the five-year term, which is the standard expiration date for clearance, I got involved with various national security projects outside of government as a contractor.
	Which meant my clearance was re-upped.
	I was re-investigated, had the background investigations done again, and I had my top-secret SCI clearance renewed.
	And I will have to do that every five years and provide justification should I wish to maintain that clearance.
	That requirement does not apply to the President of the United States even after he leaves the White House.
	It's a peculiar artifact of our system, but cabinet members, secretaries, directors of agencies like the FBI and the CIA, and the president keep their security clearances until they go in the ground.
	Until they die, they have their clearances.
	So the idea that President Trump wasn't allowed access to documents, likewise, is utterly spurious, is a dodge, is a feint.
	The former president still even receives briefings from intelligence agencies.
	Former presidents have been invited to talk about issues of national import and national security by new presidents.
	That's how we do business in a normal administration.
	What happened at Mar-a-Lago was not normal.
	It is the arrival of dictatorial police tactics in America.
	The FBI is done.
	It is finished.
	I don't want to hear one other person, I've heard Hannity do it for six years now, say, oh, it's the rank and file are fine.
	No.
	Rubbish.
	It was the rank-and-file that executed that raid yesterday that broke into, broke into a private person's safe, a former president.
	There was no just cause for what happened last night, especially after they'd been there back in February.
	No just cause.
	It was a state-sanctioned burglary.
	It was thuggery.
	It was Gestapo tactics.
	It was Stasi tactics.
	It was meant to intimidate President Trump And then to try and prevent him from running for re-election.
	It was meant to intimidate you.
	As I said yesterday in the video I posted that went viral.
	With yesterday's act by those federal agents.
	This administration has declared war on 74 million Americans, you included.
	If you voted for President Trump, if you're considering voting for President Trump, if you like America, if you love America, if you disagree with what is happening in the last 18 months, this was a declaration of war against you.
	Because if they can do this to the most powerful man in the world, A man who had 93 million followers on Twitter before he was quote-unquote unpersoned, memory-holed, deleted by Palo Alto.
	They can do it to anyone.
	But the biggest conclusion of all, and they're already starting to worry, is the one that my producers shared with me late last night.
	Before I did my video I asked him, what's the one big issue?
	What's the one big conclusion?
	It's this.
	They've failed.
	And Jeff is right.
	Look at the last five years.
	First it was the Steele dossier.
	Then it was Russia collusion.
	Then it was quid pro quo.
	Then it was two failed impeachments.
	And most recently, the January 6 Soviet-style show trial.
	They're failing.
	The only reason they did what they did yesterday is because they're losing.
	And I predict right now, whenever he announces, he will announce that he's running.
	I guarantee you that.
	He will be stronger than he has ever been before.
	They have a saying from ancient times.
	If you go after the king, you better kill the king.
	Well, they failed.
	And it won't be 74 million.
	It will be 80 million.
	It will be 90 million.
	It will be 100 million.

	There's an array of felonies there, and they're guarding him $50,000 a month at our expense, with his apartment, hunters, and theirs.
	So, yeah, there's a narrative, but the directors are the narrative, and it can't go on like this.
	It's really an existential threat.
	This is something like the East German Stasi in the Cold War.
	It really is.
	It's an ideological investigative group that is hired out by the left for particular retrieval services, whether it's a diary or a laptop or investigative services.
	Tomorrow is the day when you're going to want to buy the physical copy of the newspaper.
	You're going to want to buy it and fold it carefully, maybe put it in a little archival paper or parchment if you don't have that.
	Put it away someday.

	They want to disqualify him.

	The facts may turn out to be different, but because this FBI is so tainted from its earlier actions, that concern is going to linger until every last fact has come out.

	I have some clips I'd like to share with you from your colleague, from your podcast, Victor Davis Hanson, then some of the mainstream media's response, gleeful, just gleeful responses, but I'm going to allow you free reign right now.
	So, you know what happened last night under the cover of classified documents, the National Security Archive, the FBI raided the private residence of My former boss, President Trump, as the man who's written books on President Trump, on Nixon, on FDR, your reaction to the events so far?
	A stupefying outrage.
	An absolutely unconscionable, unmitigated outrage.
	At every level.
	I mean, it's apparently a dispute about records.
	Well, that's a matter that's resolved, as it has been with many presidents, By civil litigation, sometimes prolonged litigation.
	In the case of President Nixon, it went on well after he died, and his literary executors were ultimately successful.
	Meaning there's a legal argument to be made between the individual who's left the White House and the U.S.
	government on what documents he can keep.
	That's what you're talking about.
	Exactly.
	I mean, the President, while the President is in office, He is the supreme authority in what is classified and what is not classified.
	And therefore, right up until the moment that he ceases to be president, he can classify or declassify what he wants.
	He removed them to Florida while he was still president.
	And then when there is a dispute, which these things happen, you know, the presidents, when they've retired, want to take as much as they can for the benefit of their memoirs and things like that.
	And there's a point where you have to demarcate what the government owns and what the president or former president owns.
	Nothing wrong with that.
	It happens.
	But it's always resolved by civil litigation.
	So there's absolutely no justification whatsoever for going beyond the subpoena in a case like this unless you only get a warrant to force entry and seize property or ostensible property.
	Uh, when you have an absolute open shot case, you can put before a judge saying that if a warrant is not issued at once, there is a very serious danger.
	of essential, exigible material being destroyed.
	This is nonsense.
	No one's alleging that.
	It didn't happen.
	There was no threat of that.
	Trump wasn't destroying anything.
	He wasn't in Florida.
	This stuff was safely locked up in his house there.
	He had been cooperating with these people.
	The FBI were in some weeks before, gone through all this stuff before.
	This is just a bit of theater.
	And, you know, I, as you know, normally hesitate to speculate on the motives of people.
	You know, I'm not a psychiatrist, and I wouldn't trust the, you know, the imputations of a psychiatrist necessarily, but this is so outrageous, so unprecedented.
	And in the circumstances coming up to midterm elections that look extremely unpromising for the regime, it is impossible for me to imagine that they had a respectable or acceptable motive for ordering what they did.
	This is the straight politicization of a Justice Department.
	It's a political smear job and it's a disgrace.
	But what does it say?
	Of those who executed it, meaning the Attorney General.
	I don't believe for a nanosecond the White House didn't know as they tell us they didn't know about it.
	But what does it say about those who ordered this that they are so comfortable with the idea of using the FBI, the most powerful federal law enforcement agency in the world, to raid the home of a private citizen who had been the president less than two and a half years, two years ago.
	Because they're completely Absolutely lawless.
	They have no fear of the law, nor any sense of a duty to adhere to it.
	Because, you know, while they're there, they make the law and they are the law.
	That's what they think.
	I mean, the FBI itself pretty much does what it's told.
	So, I mean, obviously there are rogues occasionally, but these guys, you know, these palookas on the beach in Palm Beach wouldn't have gone rushing into the former president's house.
	Uh, without orders from very high up.
	It was obvious that the Attorney General, and I agree with you, that despite all the predictable, inevitable, nauseatingly unbelievable denials, Garland would not have done that.
	No Attorney General in history has ever done it.
	None would have considered doing it without the approval of the President.
	And, uh, and, uh, you know, their view is, They played this card for six years, and it's pretty well worked for them, saying Trump is so odious, so unquestionably morally and ethically unsuited and temperamentally and philosophically unsuited to be president or to hold any public office that they can get away with anything.
	They're now in cold terror that he's clearly cleaning up the Republican nomination and leading the polls and very likely to be re-elected.
	And so they go back to the one trick they know, and that is Trump hate, whip it up, corrupt the ostensibly non-political federal police, and if necessary, the senior intelligence agencies, as they did in that Trump-Russia collusion farce.
	And, you know, the hell with all of that.
	Everyone knows Trump is evil, and they'll just play that song one more time.
	Look, I hope I'm not just being an optimist here, but I think this is too much for the average American.
	The average American, whether he likes Trump or not, whether he's a Republican or a Democrat or whatever he is or she, Let's stay on the question of the FBI.

	IQ in single figures can see that if these people can do that to a former president, a billionaire, as well as being a former president, then anyone is vulnerable.

	So, yeah, there's a narrative, but the directors are the narrative, and it can't go on like this.

	It's a morally corrupt political police force.

	I mean, J. Edgar Hoover is much maligned.
	He was the head of the FBI for, I believe, 47 years.
	He never intervened in an election, presidential or otherwise, ever.

	But he never crossed swords with the president whom he served, and he never got involved in this kind of political operation.

	They don't know what to make of it.
	As far as I've seen, they're playing it straight.
	They don't like Trump particularly, but on the other hand, in this country we have a Much more heavily entrenched notion of the presumption of innocence and the idea of, I mean, we have the famous, and they are pretty famous, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
	People see them in the red tunics and so on, like in the movie Rosemary, but they're the federal police out there.
	And they had a controversy about 40 years ago because one of the leading figures in the RCMP wrote a letter that he might have known would get into the public domain alleging that a former prime minister had taken a bribe, which was completely false.
	But that's the only thing in my lifetime they've done remotely like that.
	But the idea of the mounted police of this country, so-called, I mean, obviously they don't ride around in horses anymore except on parades, but the idea of them going into a former prime minister's house like this I mean, in Canada, the whole country would need therapy if such a thing happened.
	I mean, they'd be shocked.
	And they're shocked to see it here.
	Tell me, Sebastian, today, is there any... I mean, there's a battle here now going on for the hearts and minds of America between those who think, like we do, that this is an outrage.
	And the Democratic apologists who were saying, well, finally, the chicken's coming home to roost.
	We knew this guy was a crook, and we're getting closer to putting him in prison where he belongs.
	Who appears to be winning that battle today?

	So, Politico has this morning newsletter they send out, which is the Bible for the left and for the left media.
	And they're quoting several legal experts and law enforcement experts in the morning Politico newsletter saying that this, unless there is evidence of some serious crime having been committed in Mar-a-Lago.
	They've basically won him the election.

	Not only that, I think they shunk They're January 6 allegations and they lost the battle to suppress and dismiss as conspiracism any reservations about the 2020 election.

	If we're talking about it being vital national security documents, I don't think that we can forget that those, you know, even if it's top secret, that means it could pose a grave national security risk if it's in the wrong hands or made out into the public.
	This, I'm hoping, goes beyond simply not complying with some archiving laws or DOJ just handed Donald Trump the Republican nominee and potentially the presidency.
	If it's seen as some sort of massive overreach and not something incredibly serious, this is a very good day for Donald Trump.
	So on the one hand, this strange schizophrenia, on the one hand they're saying, buy your copy of the Washington Post and archive it because it's a great day for us.
	On the other hand, they're saying on CNN, we potentially just handed him the election.
	How significant is that dichotomy in the mainstream media, Conrad?
	Well, I think it's significant and that's where we are now.
	Rachel Maddow was the poster lady for, you know, for the whole Trump-Russian collusion hoax.
	She went all the way down the line and And put her feet in cement until it hardened and was pushed into the water, deep water, on that one.
	So, you know, we're scraping the barrel if we're looking for an independent commentator when we get to her on a Trump matter.
	I mean, she's a lively personality on television, but she's a mental case politically.
	And I don't know who those people were responding on CNN.
	The first man, I thought, imputed to Trump a bit more of a calculation of this whole thing that is probably justified, but I agree with both of them.
	I think it's a godsend for him.
	I think this thing is an outrage.
	I don't think there is any believable chance.
	But they were justified in using a warrant, breaking into a room in his house, and that woman waffling on about the danger of the top-secret classified material getting into the hands of the public.
	It was locked up in Mar-a-Lago, for heaven's sakes.
	I mean, you know, the safe room of a former president in one of the greatest houses in America is not exactly distributing it to the public.
	And in any case, as we discussed earlier, One, it was his decision as president what was classified and what wasn't.
	Two, he was cooperating completely with the National Archives.
	And three, there is a long history of these abrasions when they occur with ex-presidents and other holders of high offices, and leave offices with certain papers about whether those papers are other materials.
	belong to the former officeholder of the government of the country, these matters being resolved in civil litigation in a calm atmosphere in a court of law, not dealt with like this, like a putsch to put in a third world country.
	We only have a couple of minutes left, but I have to ask you, given your experiences with overzealous prosecutors in the U.S., judicial system, what would your advice be to President Trump right now, given the events of the last 24 hours?
	I think he should make, I mean, I'm hesitant to presume to advise him, nothing like this, Since you asked me, and I want to answer another question if I may, too, in a second, but it'll be very quick.
	I would advise him to call for, even if he has to pay for it himself, five minutes on all the networks and make a nonpartisan statement and say, this is objectively a very dangerous thing for these reasons.
	And I ask all Americans, regardless of party, regardless of whether they approve of me or not, having nothing to do with the upcoming midterm elections or whatever may happen in 2024, to make their views known that this is simply not acceptable.
	We can't have the political distortion of our law enforcement agencies and the Justice Department in this way against anyone of any views or party.
	And the second thing I wanted to say, though, you didn't particularly asked me was on the general point of Trump's tactics here.
	I think he's played it very well up to now.
	And I think he was relatively restrained in what he said.
	I think the average person who endured a thing like that would be a good deal more outspoken about it even than he was.

	Well, Seb, you know just as well as I do that what we saw yesterday really started in the Obama White House and from Hillary Clinton's campaign and also Mark Elias and Perkins and Coey with the Christopher Steele dossier.
	They tapped Trump's power.
	The Department of Justice and the FBI has been going after President Trump since day one.
	And seeing the FBI raid Mar-a-Lago yesterday was the most infuriating thing for our entire country.
	It's historic.
	It has never happened before.
	President Trump has documents there that the President of the United States is the one that declassifies information.
	He doesn't have anything there that needs to be hidden that the FBI needs to raid Mar-a-Lago to go and get and try to reveal.
	What they're doing is weaponizing the executive branch and weaponizing the Department of Justice and the FBI to go after and persecute the one political enemy they fear the most, and that is Donald J. Trump, because they are terrified of a second Trump term because they know he's going to finish the job, Seb.
	He's actually going to drain the swamp this time because he now knows who his enemies in Washington are.
	That's why they did it, because they're afraid of him and because this administration has driven America into a ditch in less than two years.

	You take on the intelligence community, they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you.

	What do you think the intelligence community would do if they were motivated to?
	I don't know, but from what I am told, they are very upset with how he has treated them and talked about them.
	And they are taking their revenge.

	Attorney for the District of Columbia Joe DiGenova and his muse, his partner in law-abiding behavior, not partner in crime.

	What a day.
	What a day, what a day indeed.
	So, I don't know where to start.
	Let's start with, given your decades and decades worth of experiences, anything ever like this happened to a former chief executive?
	No, never.
	This was an outrageous atrocity of law enforcement.
	I've never seen anything like it.
	I've never been more embarrassed for the Justice Department and the FBI.
	This was clearly not a law enforcement act.
	It was a political act.
	It was designed to hurt the former president, to stop his run for the presidency in 2024.
	Under no circumstances should there ever have been a search warrant executed at Mar-a-Lago.
	They had ways to get that voluntarily and they chose to do this to embarrass the president and to intimidate him.
	This was what we used to call in terrorum tactics during the grand jury process.
	It's really a crude and disgusting method.
	You're not supposed to use the most intrusive method of getting something right away, and that's what a search warrant is.
	Explain that.
	Explain the different options.
	For a federal law enforcement agency, has an investigation or has reasonable cause, has a warrant, what are the options they have for acquiring evidence?
	Well, you're supposed to subpoena the person, and particularly... To send them a formal document saying, we want your documents.
	Yes, and say, give me all your X, Y, Z. Everything X, Y, Z. And this is particularly horrible in light of the fact that a couple of months ago, The government personnel had gone to Mar-a-Lago and Trump's people had showed them.
	Let's stop here for a second.
	So the National Security Archives and the law enforcement went in February to Mar-a-Lago with this accusation that they were classified documents the president needs to surrender.
	Fifteen boxes were taken of what we know we know not.
	And then the argument now from the left that they had to raid him last night lest he destroy evidence.
	Well hang on a second.
	They were there in February.
	Yes, and the only thing they said to change when they left, everything looks pretty good, but put a better lock on it.
	So Trump's people did put a better lock on it and they broke the lock getting into the room yesterday.
	So here's the second thing that I say as somebody.
	I still have my clearance.
	I had to justify that because I've left government service, but I work on certain defense-related projects, therefore I maintain a top-secret clearance that has been re-upped, has been extended since my time in the White House.
	That's because I've left government service.
	With a president or a former cabinet member, they have legacy clearances till they die.
	So, you know, George Bush has a clearance today.
	Clinton has a clearance today.
	The idea that a former president is somehow accessing classified documents illegally, that makes...
	That's absurd, is it not, Joe?
	It's absolutely absurd, because he has a continuing clearance for accessing... At the highest level!
	And he gets regular briefings from the intelligence community on the state of world affairs.
	And he can declassify any of those documents, so that's his authority.
	Again, this is the point I made earlier today, and please, if I'm missing anything or getting it wrong, please correct me.
	The classification system in America.
	The clearance system in America is predicated on one person's need, the commander-in-chief.
	Correct.
	It is the president who can actually give you a top-secret clearance like this, or who can strip you of a top-secret clearance by fiat, because the intelligence system exists, all 17 agencies exist, to support the decision-making of the president.
	Therefore, the idea that a president can abuse classified material is abovo absurd!
	But, Sab, see here, this is the legal standard for getting a search warrant instead of using a subpoena, and that is that documents are going to be destroyed, that the person who has them is going to destroy them.
	When they issued a search warrant against me a year and a half ago... Tell this story.
	What happened with you?
	What was the accusation?
	How were you treated?
	That I had evidence of somebody violating FERA.
	The Foreign Agent Registration Act.
	And that I had evidence of it.
	Well, they should have just subpoenaed me, and I would have come up with nothing.
	But they had a search warrant for my house, and took my phone, and that, then you're not supposed to do that, government, to a lawyer, because they took all my clients' privileged information.
	And that was because they were trying to get to Rudy Giuliani through you.
	Right.
	They were, because Rudy and I, that year, the year the search warrant describes as 2019, that was the time that we were talking to Ukrainian whistleblowers who wanted representation to give Biden corruption information to the U.S.
	Justice Department, and Yovanovitch, the corrupt ambassador, was preventing them from doing it.
	Joe, let's look at patterns here.
	We have Peter Navarro, who is former assistant to the president for trade, for China policy.
	He doesn't recognize the writ of the January 6th committee because it's not constituted constitutionally with minority members nominated by the Republican Party, so he ignores their subpoena.
	If he is to be arrested or if there is action to be taken for that misdemeanor, What is the normal way of doing that in DC?
	You call the lawyer of the person or the person if they don't have a lawyer and you ask them to surrender.
	You say, can your client come to the FBI headquarters or the local field office?
	The courthouse.
	Tuesday at 10 o'clock.
	So we can fingerprint him and then we can book him and then he can go.
	As opposed to what happened?
	Which is they arrested him at the airport at Reagan, put him in handcuffs and leg irons, and embarrassed him in front of everyone at the airport.
	There is absolutely no reason in the world.
	I never did that when I was a United States attorney.
	And again, this is in terrorim tactics designed to embarrass and intimidate for a misdemeanor.
	But have you seen an editorial in any of the mainstream media criticizing it?
	Did the judge, when he arraigned the case, criticize the government?
	No.
	What about the fact that the judge who allegedly signed off on this warrant to raid the president's home was a former U.S.
	government, involved in the Epstein case on the U.S.
	government side, left government service and then became lawyers to Jeffrey Epstein.
	What does that mean?
	But what this all means is that as facts continue to come out in these cases, they continue to undermine the confidence of the American people in the judicial process, in the Justice Department, and in the FBI.
	And the American people are not stupid.
	These things happen for a reason.
	We do not know what is in the affidavit in support of the search warrant for Mar-a-Lago, but we do know this.
	We know the FBI has a history recently of lying to courts like the FISA courts and others in order to get a warrant.
	People are now beginning to believe, and this is very dangerous, that the FBI is lying in search warrant applications.
	But it's not just the FBI.
	The federal prosecutors.
	Do you think, I have this theory that it's aggressive, it's tyrannical, but they're all so cowardly at the same time because they put it under this fig leaf of the National Archives.
	It was the National Archives that did this.
	It wasn't the FBI.
	Is that because they're too afraid to actually say, to portray for what it is?
	It's because they're too slick.
	They think they're smarter than everybody else.
	else.
	And of course, they have the complicity of the mainstream media, which covers for them.
	But here's the thing.
	This is really interesting.
	There's part of that law, the National Archives Act, which says if you destroy documents which are in your possession as part of the Presidential Records Act, you can be found to not to be disqualified from holding office in the future.
	Now, they think that applies to the President of the United States, but it doesn't.
	This is the Mark Elias ploy that he tweeted out.
	The only qualifications for president are in the Constitution.
	We'll talk about that.
	We'll talk about how they gave the game away.

	He tweeted a highlighted segment of U.S.
	Code 18 U.S.
	2071 concealment removal or mutilation generally.
	And the highlighted section is anyone who has Removed, mutilated, or obliterated classified information shall be imprisoned for not more than three years or forfeit his office and be disqualified from holding any office in the United States.
	That's the quote, and above it, Mark Elias, again the architect of the Russia-Russia hoax and the theft of the 2020 election, said this.
	This is when you realize that their egos are several times by factors larger than their IQs.
	The media is missing the really, really big reason why the raid on Mar-a-Lago is a potential blockbuster in American politics.
	And he has the little emoji of the finger.
	Look at this.
	So they've given it all away.
	Mark Elias says, oh, if he destroyed one little thing, you know, the classified phone directory for the NSC, that's it.
	He's barred from running for county dog catcher, let alone president.
	What say you, Joe, to that statement?
	That piece of legislation does not apply to the President of the United States.
	Because?
	Former President.
	Because the qualifications for President are in the Constitution and they can neither be diminished nor increased.
	And they're very clear.
	Natural born citizen of a certain age.
	That's it.
	Doesn't say anything else.
	That's it.
	So you cannot make the application of that statute a disqualifying factor.
	Mark Elias who was fined by the 5th Circuit for certain filings that he made and he appealed it and lost the appeal.
	So he's a lousy lawyer but he's really, really evil and he did the whole 2020 election thing.
	He went around from state to state and got laws changed and stupid Republicans went along with it.
	He was talking about his money.
	That's right.
	So when were you, just by chance, who was president when you were Special Prosecutor George Genua?
	George H.W.
	Bush.
	Okay, so you've done this before.
	You know how this system works.
	Let's do a little trip through history when it comes to classified documents.
	There was an individual called Hillary Rodham Clinton who had her staff move 33,000 classified emails onto an unsecure system.
	I know how they did it because I've worked in a SCIF.
	You cannot go into a secure compartmented information Secure Facility and send a classified email to an unclassified email address.
	The system doesn't let you do that.
	You have to cut and paste the document.
	You have to save it onto some kind of drive, which is illegal in and of itself, and move it out of the SCIF and take it to Hillary.
	You have to print it.
	You have to save it.
	You have to break federal law.
	That was done 33,000 times.
	The then director of the FBI said it.
	And then we have, slightly earlier than that, we have a former National Security Advisor, Sandy Berger, who went to said National Archives.
	And removed very classified information.
	That was embarrassing to Bill Clinton when it came to Al-Qaeda and how the U.S.
	government hid them in his underwear and his socks and removed them from those facilities.
	Can either of you remember how Hillary Clinton and Sandy Berger were punished?
	Sandy Berger got fined and he didn't have a clearance for three years.
	What happened to Hillary?
	Nothing.
	She got the Comey Pass from America's most important dirty cop, James Comey.
	July 5th, 2016.
	But here's the theme, Seb, and it's related to what you just pointed out about the different treatment.
	What this administration is doing, what the Merrick Garland Justice Department is doing, is making conduct criminal that had never been criminal before.
	And I use the alternative electors.
	That's been done throughout our history.
	Explain that, this is really important.
	So the criminalization of this concept of alternative electors in the Electoral College, what are they trying to do now and why is that completely novel?
	Joe and I didn't participate in it, but I'm aware of the issue after the 2020 election.
	You had to have your slate of electors by a certain date in December.
	Well, litigation was still going on, so if you didn't have the electors set, if you won in litigation, you were out of luck.
	Because you didn't have any electors.
	So you had to choose a slate of electors as alternates in order to have a remedy if you won your litigation.
	So they're saying that by doing that, you were conspiring to defraud the people of the United States by what they call fake electors.
	Well, they weren't any more fake electors than the ones that John Kennedy used in Hawaii in 1960 against Richard Nixon.
	They did the same thing.
	And it worked out for him because it happened on the recount that Kennedy won and he got the... So his electors were ready to go and they were selected.
	But, I mean, this was never... Farrah, let me tell you, Farrah was under me when I was Deputy Assistant Attorney General.
	This is the Foreign Agents Registration Act.
	We would go, if we found somebody doing lobbying on behalf of a foreign government, Knock on the door and say, hey, you should register.
	We didn't indict people for that.
	And you know who made it, started doing it?
	Mueller.
	With, with, what's his name?
	Andy, Andrew, the really bad prosecutor.
	Wiseman.
	Wiseman, yes.
	They turned it into a criminal offense of really prosecuting.
	So, I mean, it's very frightening how conduct that people have been doing for years in this town have now become criminal.

	After a years-long criminal investigation, the department simply said to them, just register as foreign agents.
	And that's what they were allowed to do.

	They're going to search and raid the president who just left less than two years ago, and they don't know Victoria!

	But this, this is actually, it's very typical that the Justice Department and the FBI do not comment on a case when something happens.
	When it's a former president?
	But this is an exception and I think they need to give an explanation to the American people.
	They are hiding because they don't want to give an explanation because it is so obvious that this was a pretextual search warrant based on non-existent evidence from all that we can tell.
	When there is no way that the home, residence or office of a former President of the United States should have ever been subject to a search warrant under these circumstances.
	I can think of no circumstances where this would be done.
	This is truly Truly Soviet-style law enforcement, which is to say, it is political law enforcement with no basis in law or in fact.
	This is a disgraceful moment for the Justice Department and the FBI, and the smarminess with which they have refused to comment is a symptom of just how ugly and crude this exercise was yesterday.
	Yeah, but the January 6th Committee is also Soviet-style.
	It really frightens me how many institutions we have, that we've relied on in the past, to be fair, have changed to a... there's no other word but Soviet-style, or no other description.
	And ho-hum the media, this is not a... I mean, I had reporters call me, what do I think of the evidence given today?
	How can you comment on evidence that's not subject to cross-examination?
	This is the continuation of the attempt to destroy Donald Trump.
	It started right after he came down the escalator.
	It has continued until today through various hoaxes, schemes, artifices.
	I made a short list of it yesterday.
	I mean, if you just look at what's happened in the last five years, you've got Uh, the Steele dossier, you've got the Russia collusion hoax, you've got two impeachments, you've got the New York attempted charges against him, and then January 6th.

	For me, if you add these all together, what they demonstrate is failure.

	I think it was you, Victoria, who said he's going to be stronger now.
	Even in just the last few hours, Politico, CNN, we played the clip earlier, a lot of people who are staunch, staunch in-the-tank lefties, very, very worried.
	One, to paraphrase, said if there isn't really anything, if this is some kind of, you know, they found a phone directory that was classified, This will just make him much, much stronger.

	I believe that this was designed to harm him.
	It served no other purpose.

	I don't see how you can find anything serious about documents that have been sitting in a room behind a closed, locked door.
	Why'd they wait this long if it was so serious?
	But this is the guy... I mean, can we just have a sanity check for a second?
	This is the man who had the nuclear launch codes.
	I mean, this is the person who, within 30 feet of his body, 24 hours later, he could have started World War III.
	So, what is the presumption of guilt here?
	You don't know?
	This is a false flag operation designed to smear him.
	Designed to create publicity, not to investigate a case.
	But this is the tactic they used.
	What was the crime for Project Veritas having the diary of Ashley's body?
	Well, they alleged it was stolen when it wasn't.
	But it wasn't stolen.

	But, even then, Remember the Pentagon paper?

	Given your experience, what you've done, the clearances you've had, what is your advice now to President Trump and his team?
	What do you say, Joe, first?
	Just proceed full steam ahead, but remember, you're going to be indicted.
	They are going to indict him.
	They're going to try and ruin him that way.
	What should he be most cautious of right now?
	Some people have said today's the day he needs to announce his candidacy.
	What would you warn him of?
	What are the biggest pitfalls, given what they're going to do?
	I think that he should simply ignore the process.
	If he wants to talk about how outrageous the search warrant was, that's fine.
	I think he should go full steam ahead with a positive agenda, telling what he's going to do for America.
	And I think the American people understand what was done to him yesterday, and I think they're appalled.
	Oh, I don't think he should announce it at all until after the midterms.
	Because that was just gonna muddy the waters.
	It makes things very complicated.

	He's got people on his side right now.
	Be silent and just, you know, complain about it in your own way, which he will do.
	But don't... And legal advice?

	They should get a special master to go in and look at the documents.
	A special master is like the ombudsman, the external individual who gets to see the evidence.
	A third party between Trump and the government who looks at the papers to make sure there's no privileged information.
	Or that there's no hanky-pank.
	I mean, who knows how those documents were acquired.
	So let's cut to the chase.
	We've had a discussion for the years on this show.
	Let's say President Trump Declares, wins, and wins the election and is reinstalled.
	What happens to the FBI, Joe?
	What happens to the DOJ?
	I mean, because some people have said, just dismantle it.
	Well, he should fire Christopher Wray immediately.
	But that's one person.
	Yeah, but then you must install, you have to install a new director who cleans house on the upper floor.
	So are you saying the FBI is salvageable?
	I think the FBI is.
	I think the FBI is salvageable, but not the 7th floor.
	But don't you think, given that agents executed this, agents executed this illegal warrant.
	But there are also agents who are being whistleblowers.

	But there are people who are talking to agents who are very upset, they just don't know what to do.
	But if they're not outside the FBI right now, picketing the FBI, or resigning today, then I have no time for them.
	Tearing down an agency is a lot easier to talk about than to actually do.
	And you can't fire 60,000 employees.
	That's not going to happen.
	But what you can do is put in a strong person who has massive law enforcement experience and completely replace everybody on the 7th floor.
	But I think the bigger problem is DOJ.
	Because having worked there, I know, it's down, the liberalism is down deep, deep seated.
	As far as I'm concerned, in my time in the White House, of all the agencies that were corrupt, DOJ was the worst.
	So what do we do about DOJ, Victoria?
	You know, Bill Barr wasn't able to do it.
	I don't know.
	I'm very depressed about that.
	First, you've got to get a strong AG and a president working with him.
	It seems like Bill Barr and Donald Trump did not get along.
	Something happened.
	Bill Barr was swamped by the end of it.
	I mean, we had great hopes, but by the end of the time, I mean, I've seen him since I left the White House, since he left the administration.
	I'm sorry, the guy is a swamp creature.
	But what happens to an agency that in its gene code has become a political entity?
	It is a very difficult thing to change the size, caliber, and function of the federal government.
	This is a massive undertaking.
	It could consume a presidency.
	But what you have to do is you take control of the department by the throat.
	You have to have good managers in all the litigating divisions.
	They take control and they run it.
	And that's something the Republicans did not have enough time to do.
	First of all, two and a half years of the Attorney Generalship was Rod Rosenstein and Jeff Sessions.
	They were crippled.
	They couldn't do anything.
	Robert Mueller was the Attorney General of the United States, in essence.
	And so, what you have to do is you have to have a powerful, strong Attorney General who comes in with a leadership team, they take control of the department by the throat, and they run it.
	And then you need oversight.
	Real oversight.
	Real oversight.
	I was so embarrassed.
	Ted Cruz was great at the hearing, where Chris Wray was, but hardly anybody else was.
	Marsha Blackburn, would you call the Russia, Russia, Russia thing a hoax to Chris Wray?
	Well, I wouldn't use that term.

	Answer me.
