We drove up all the way to Ottawa to support the truckers and the Freedom Convoy because like them, we are patriots, we love our nation and we want our country back.
As we're here for the children, your children, our future children, anyone's children to grow up in a society where they protect and uphold Our rights and freedoms.
Our Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, which they're trying to systematically trample on.
And that's why we're here till the end.
What do you guys think about Justin Trudeau saying that they're flying swastikas here, racist?
They thought he was flying here.
That's the sovereign flag of the Khalsa.
That's flying alongside the Canadian flag.
And that's the only two flags that have been flowing here that we've seen.
Majority Canadian flags.
And this flag, the Khalsa flag, stands for sovereignty to fight against tyranny and oppression.
We are from a warrior lineage.
We are known as the Khalsa.
We are part of the Sikh faith, the fifth largest religion in the world.
And we were taught from our warrior lineage and our ancestors who stood in war and fought multiple battles to free other nations.
And we are here using that spirit to fuel us to stand alongside shoulder to shoulder with the truckers and free our nation.
And all Canadians stand for all Canadian rights.
It doesn't matter about your vaccination status.
It doesn't matter you took the vaccine or not.
This is about fundamental freedom.
I love Sikhs.
I grew up in West London where, you know, there was a large Indian population, Jamaican, Pakistani, and there were Sikhs.
There were Sikhs around where I lived that went to my school with their turbans, their iconic turbans, the men who never cut their hair with that bracelet, that steel bracelet or that iron bracelet that they wore, the Kara And of course, it's a warrior religion.
It's a 600 year old monotheistic religion from the Punjab.
Just like the Scots with their ducks, they get to carry a dagger because they're proud of their warrior lineage.
And those Sikhs...
Clearly, with an Indian heritage, with the, if you didn't see the video, they're standing there in the snow with their turbans and their beards, caked in snow, saying, we are here to stand up for freedom, for Canadians and for all who believe that we are born as free men.
Well, not in Canada anymore.
Because there are no free men in Canada, or women.
The organizer of the Freedom Convoy, the female, was arrested yesterday on the streets of Canada.
They have cracked down.
Trudeau, I don't know whether he's the illegitimate son of Castro or not, although The resemblance is rather shocking.

Go to my Twitter and see the resemblance between Trudeau and the former dictator of Cuba.
But I'll tell you one thing, whether or not he is the illegitimate son of Castro or Fidel, he's trying to turn Canada into Cuba right now.
How blessed are we that we have a written Constitution, the oldest Republican Constitution in the world, which enshrines our God-given unalienable rights.
They don't have that in Canada.
And even if they did, would it be respected by the, quote, Liberal Party Prime Minister?
For all the police, look, you know me, guys.
I've worked for the military, I've served in the British military, I've worked with law enforcement across this country at every level, municipal, state, federal, you name it.
And we back the police, especially the police right now in places like New York where they have zero support, in fact where they are hated by their political masters.
But here's a message for the police of Ontario, for the police of Toronto and all the other Provincial authorities in Canada, even the RCMP.
There's one big lesson, one massive lesson, from the Nuremberg Trials, from World War II.
When those key members of the Nazi regime were in the dock, from Hess and all the others,
The one principle that these individuals were not allowed to use to defend themselves against the charges of genocide, which is what Hitler and the Third Reich were guilty of, genocide against Jews, genocide against anybody who they disagreed with, whether it was the gypsy Roma, Catholic priests in Poland, homosexuals, the disabled, What did they try to do?
What did they try to use as their defense?
We were just following orders.
Die Befehler!
We were just obeying orders!
Doesn't matter.
Here's a little lesson from Nuremberg for the police of Canada.
And for the military.
Who knows if the military will be engaged as well by this petty little tyrant.
An order may be legal, but that does not make it moral.
Those are two different things.

It wasn't a covert, illegal, rogue action.
It was the state's determination, starting with the Jewish blood purity laws of the 30s.
Then to the meeting in Wannsee, where they planned the actual final solution.

That was the policy of the state, which technically made it legal.
But that doesn't make it moral.
And as such, as a representative of the state that carries the capacity to use force in the Westphalian modern system, The state has a monopoly on the use of force.
There are no private armies or warlords.
There is a state army.
There is a sanctioned state police that has the right to represent the state and use force if necessary.
As the uniformed officers, of the Canadian state.
And this message goes to all my fellow Americans who don that Sam Brown every day, put on that body armor and patrol the streets of America.
It is your duty, not just to serve and protect.
It is your duty to refuse an amoral order.
It doesn't matter if the state gives it to you in writing, in triplicate, in an email, over the radio.
If it's immoral, if it's amoral, lacking in any moral content, it is your duty as a human being not to obey that immoral order, just as the Germans who had a conscience Should have dissipate those orders.
Don't talk to me about your pension.
I had one person on Twitter DM me about, well, he's a government lawyer and he can't reveal what he believes in public with his name.
Well, then you're just a facilitator of the dictators.
It's worse than cowardice.
It means you don't actually believe the values you say you believe.
So don't talk to me about the safety of your job and your pension.
There are things more important than that.
And it starts with your freedom.
And the freedom of your family.

Tell us what we can expect.
A little bird told me that not long after I take the stage on Saturday, Somebody I used to work with in the Casablanca with the initials DJT may be addressing the convocation.
So tell us how big it's going to be and what people can expect from this year's CPAC.
Well, it is true that we got the biggest convention hotel in Florida because the president said, hey, I think you can do you can even go bigger.
And of course, this is the largest annual political convention on the globe.
And we said, OK.
And we got the largest convention hotel.
And I don't know if you can sell this place out, but we're giving it a run for its money.
We sold out at almost every kind of ticket there is.
We have a great Reagan dinner with Glenn Beck and a very, very special speaker who will be a surprise announcement over the next Couple days.
And you know, I think more than anything else, Sebastian, than just the numbers, it's the fact that people come from all over the globe now.
We'll have representatives from Japan, from Korea, from we'll be announcing CPAC Mexico, from your Beloved country of Hungary, we're going to be having CPAC Hungary, we're going to be having CPAC Israel.
Yes, the virus is still getting in the way for those who are still panicking over this virus, but the fact is you can't stop this freedom movement.
I'll tell you one thing, I think we're going to have to have one in Canada.

I want people to understand the significance of CPAC and especially what happened under your stewardship.
So I've been going to CPAC for years and, you know, Ten years ago, it was a little bit different.
It was a little bit starchy, a little bit establishment.
If there was anybody under the age of 25, they looked like a young Tucker Carlson with a bow tie.
The last few years, under your stewardship, it is the most eclectic, Colorful, vibrant, variegated, gathering of happy people.
It's like a Trump rally.
It's every shade of American.
So give us your philosophy for CPAC and the American Conservative Union under your chairmanship.
Well, let me just bring up the Trump rally thing because I've been to a couple, not a ton of Trump rallies.
They are singular in the American political experience and these people at these Trump rallies It's an all-day thing.
By the time you park, get on buses, get to the venue, stand in a very long line for security, stand in another long line.
I mean, these are dedicated people.
And I would just say the differences with CPAC is that, you know, there's a little bit less of that inconvenience piece of it.
But nothing is quite like that Trump rally.
It's its own unique thing.
And one of the things that's unique about it is anybody's allowed to come.
You just go online and buy a ticket.
So that's why we sometimes get infiltrated by Borat or, you know, some other, you know, obnoxious people.
It's freedom.
You're free to come.
Just email my producer that they just want to understand why America is so divided.
And they want to interview me at CPAC.
And I said to them, Weiss, you're scum.
You are the cause of why we are divided.
You can all go to hell.
So that was my response.
You're very open minded.
They're going to be there.
But I'm not giving any interviews to Weiss.
But talk to us about how CPAC fits into what has happened to the conservative movement in just the last five years, because it's truly been revolutionized, Matt.
At least I think.
Yeah, I agree with that.
So, like, one of the things that's unique at a CPAC is it's a lot of young people.
The media would have you believe that all the young people have turned against us.
They'd also have you believe that being a conservative is a very niche-y minority thing, and all polls show that conservatives are the biggest part of Of American segmentation, but here's the thing, Sebastian, I'm not using this word conservative as much as I used to.
I'm an American who loves America's founding.
I thank God that America is on the face of the globe.
I think our founding documents are some of the most important documents ever written, and I think anybody who loves cops, loves the military, believes that sports should be left outside of politics, believes that you're born Boy or girl, all these basic truths, I think they're all part of our coalition.
Yes, they might not agree with everything William F. Buckley or somebody else wrote or stood for, but they want to push back on this idea that America is a rotten place or that if you're a person of faith, Yeah, because they don't have anything!
What is their platform?
More illegal immigrants?
More wars in Europe?
That's the Democrat Party.
It has become a radicalized party.

I think evil is unleashed on the globe.
I think that America is in its sights.
I think evil forces know that if they take down America, Freedom will die and wither around the globe.
America is that one most important element of securing religious rights and individual freedoms.
And we are really on the precipice of losing our country.
I stress this.
They cheated because there's fewer of them than there are of us.
They burned down our cities because they wanted to further frighten us and intimidate us and keep us from speaking up.
And it's working.
And so one of the biggest things we say in this book is stop whispering.
Stop cowering.
You might get fired.
Your kid might not get into Harvard.
Whatever.
But if you don't stand up now in the numbers we have, as we have those numbers, we will lose everything.

However, it just might be a bad decision by Remington, which by the way, as far as I know, has gone out of business.

We were, just a few days ago, together on a video conference with some of our colleagues because I think we both feel, at this point, that we have to do more to mobilize coordinated collective action to really finally get ahead of COVID and to get where we need to be at the end of the year, which is 70% of the world vaccinated.

This is... At the biggest transatlantic security conference.
In, in, at, on the verge of possibly the biggest war we've had.
Since World War II.
Since Nazis invaded Poland.

And because This is their shtick.
They ran from the basement that they were going to solve COVID.
COVID is a flu.
It is not a global threat.
Countries left and right all over the world, even ones with zero vaccination, are standing down because the new strain is a flu.
Even Democrat governors are standing down.
It's like after you got divorced, you're calling up your ex-wife and go, I loved our honeymoon.
And the other one is climate change.
They just came out with what's called the Indo-Pacific Strategy, which Blink had released in Asia.
And it's our strategy for dealing with Asia.
It says, we must challenge and confront climate change.
Doesn't say anything about challenging and confronting China.
Actually barely mentions China.
It says nothing about confronting China.
Which is of course the biggest polluter in the world.
And the country that created the Covid pandemic.
And the biggest global threat in the world today.
Look, I don't make this stuff up.
I talk to people all the time in these countries.
The dialogue is so constant.
I feel like they're family.
Here's what they all say to a person.
Sending Kamala, the vice president... This is going to be my next question.
The woman who was supposed to secure the southern border is going to help secure the Ukrainian border.
Sending the vice president who is... It's not... I don't mean to be pejorative.
I'm not... My mom doesn't want me to speak ill of people.
But who is perceived and seen as the least credible, the least experienced, the least respected person in the administration.
To have her on the point...
It would be like Chamberlain sending Laurel and Hardy to work out the Munich Agreement.
Hey, I like Laurel and Hardy.
Well, it was probably actually a step up from Chamberlain.
So that's a weakness.
And then for Blinken to come and give a speech, totally divorced from the geostrategic reality.
You know, the reality is if you care about climate, if you care about global pandemics, then what you want is a strong, resilient collection of free nations that stand together.
And that's the most important thing.
The greatest threat to that is not the temperature in 50 years.
It's not, you know, son of COVID.
It is evil people who are out to destroy us.
Ukraine was never About the Ukraine.
I have to ask you the question, because even on the conservative side there's conflict.
Of course, because we believe in that.
Some people are saying there was never going to be an invasion, that the 130,000 troops was just a bluff to get some kind of concession from NATO to say no, Ukraine can never enter.
I don't think you deploy 130 guys just for diplomatic pressure.
What is Jim Carafano's take on the strategic intent of that actor?
Well, the answer is we don't know because Russians intentionally do disinformation, misinformation, misdirection, deception.
It's part of what they always do.
And that allows them to have you guessing until they do what they're going to do.
They have everything in place to evade.
If I were a betting man today, right this second, I would bet that they're going to pull a trigger.
He doesn't have to!
And he could change his mind, right?
If he actually was going to invade on Wednesday, as soon as Biden came out and said he was going to invade on Wednesday, Putin would go, well, let's not invade on Wednesday.
Let's invade on Thursday.
Make Biden look like an idiot.
Right.
So I know it sounds like Larry, the guy from that does the Bernie Sanders imitation, but I don't know if I meant that.
It's not your best Putin impression.
It wasn't my best Putin.
But the point is, you know, he is, but it's never about the Ukraine.
Think about it.
Putin is... Ukraine never joined NATO.
We never gave them offensive weapons.
But they gave up their nuclear weapons in the Budapest Accords.
But I'm saying we never shut down Nord Stream 2.
And Putin's going to invade them anyway, right?
If he does, as somebody who served in uniform, who follows these things, it's just going to be a partial annexation of Eastern Territory, correct?
I don't know.
First of all, I think the Ukrainians are going to fight.
And I think they'll fight hard.
The ones who aren't ethnic Russians?
No, I think Russians will fight hard.
You think?
I do.
You know, the one thing that Putin's actually managed to do is Ukrainian nationalism has gone through the roof.
It has.
You know, the one thing is Putin threatening Ukraine is exactly why everybody wants to join NATO.
Correct!
Right!
Bingo!
But they will fight, and here's what we know, a lot of people will die.
And a lot of people will be displaced.
No.
And it's not because anybody threatened Vladimir Putin.
It's because Putin decided to do it.
All the blood will be on his hands and all the horror will be on his hands.
But the point is, regardless of what happens, it doesn't matter because that's not the end game.
He wants to reabsorb the post-Soviet states.
He wants to have dictatorial control over Central Europe.
He wants NATO to collapse.
He wants America to leave.
And the biggest cheerleader is the Chinese because they want exactly the same thing.
They want to weaken Europe that they can divide and conquer.
They want to isolate America and leave us alone and stranded.
And Putin is doing Xi's work for them.
So people say we should really write about the China.
Dude, Putin is their stooge.
But it's more than that.
China wants the same thing in their region.
They want a region where nothing happens without their say-so.
So even if he doesn't invade, he wants to control the future of those countries, just like China wants to control the future of the nations in the Pacific Rim.

Yeah.
So this is, you know, something we actually started coming out of COVID was, you know, it's tough for a young conservative in Washington, D.C.
I imagine that's actually true in a lot of places around the country.
But so they would they would just like to they don't mind hanging out with liberals or whatever, but they'd like to sit down and have dinner or drink or something and not get yelled at for their politics or be told, I can't date you because you're a conservative.
So we just wanted to create a space for young people just to get together in like a no-stress way.
And so it actually started just as kind of something getting out of COVID.
I actually did it for my staff.
I grabbed like six young people on my staff and I said, look, you guys have been great.
Each of you go out and find five friends and bring them in.
I'll front the happy hour, right?
And now you came to the one yesterday.
It was about 70 people, 70 young, brilliant, We stood there for an hour!
Look, he doesn't pay me, so I don't have to say.
So I invited Seb, because I like to bring somebody in to kind of say, you people are here because you believe in service to nation, and it's good for you to hear about people that have gone on your journey, on that journey, and hear their experience, and hear how you might benefit from that.
So Chad Wolf came, former Secretary of Homeland Security, Bob Wilkie, right?
And so I invited Seb because Seb and I are old friends and I thought, well, a lot of them know Seb from his radio.
They don't know anything about his experience and his father and Hungary and his background.
And most of them don't even know what happened in the White House and everything else, but they know he's a radio guy.
And they were – his story is so compelling and it is – it was so riveting to them.
Literally, they stood there for I think like an hour and they were happy.
They could have stayed there another hour and it was inspiring.
Everybody came up to me afterwards and they said, you know, here's a guy that wasn't born in America – His parents weren't born in America.
He was an immigrant to America late in life.
And, you know, we work for people who have been born here, had all the privileges here, and they don't appreciate this.
And to see somebody that really gets it, that gets the importance of having a nation that's free, safe, and prosperous, and is willing to take the shots and the arrows and the punches, because Freedom is that important?
A lesson he learned from his parents?
That meant everything to them.
I can't thank you enough.
And every listener on your show, they listen to you and they're proud of you, but they should be appreciative of you.
Because what you do It touches their lives, and it touches these young people's lives.
I think that's the greatest gift.
And I know I pray for your success, and I know all the viewers do too, and there's a reason why they come back.
And I just want to say to them, You're right to be here.
You're right to listen to this guy.
And if he uplifts you, and he moves you, and it's prayerful for you, and it makes you angry sometimes, but it gives you... You should feel comforted that people look at him in his eyes, and they see what you see.

When you take the Border Patrol and you turn them into border crossers and guards and you take the Department of Security, Ombuds Security... Well, when you're using counter-terrorism legislation in Canada to freeze the bank accounts of people supporting truck drivers, where is Western civilization?
Where is North America?

Don't worry, I used to come here once I married an American every summer and I used to pick up and have things shipped to my in-laws, so I made up for it at least once a year.
Do you still, you still do publish that massive Bible catalogue?
I know we're in the 21st century, but you still have hard copies of that catalogue, correct?
Yeah, we sure do.
We still do the Big Book.
We call it the Big Book Catalog.
The industry sometimes calls it the Bible.
We've refined it a bit to serve our more gunsmith customer crowd.
So, and the big reason for that was there's just no way to put and print all the products that we actually carry.
Do you have a number?

You know, if I ran some sophisticated reports, I could probably tell you, but it's over 100,000.

For those items that are so hard to find, original armor lights, for example, the original AR-10.

Can you tell us how that decision occurred, and whether you'll be doing so in the future as well?
Yeah, I'd be happy to chat about the retro line.
So that was kind of a decision made on the trend in the air market at the time was certainly that everybody was getting into all sorts of accessories and the guns were getting heavier and heavier and more advanced.
And that's certainly cool.
That's, that's great.
We were just sort of saying, Hey, there, there seems to be a hole in the market to go sort of the other way and bring back some of the classics.
And so that's what we did with, you know, the, the old, the, the BRN 16, a one and And a number of others like the XM-177 carbine clone that we have out there.
So those have been super popular.
And those have led to other things like the AR-18 and the AR-180, which is now the BRN-180.
So those have been popular.
We will still continue to come out with things, although I will say that the RetroLine is available in parts now.
Because you know what, people wanted to do the hodgepodge and sort of embrace the builder culture that is Brownells.
Yeah, and I'm very excited to check out the BRN-180, your updated version of the original AR-180.

Great to be with you.
You know, and Teddy Roosevelt, I think, is now more important than ever the idea of Americanism.
I mean, as you know, we are a divided country, but certainly we can rise as Americans And determine what's important.
Limited government.
Self-determination.
Protection of constitutional freedom.
That is what Teddy Roosevelt was all about.
And that's what's going to get us to where we want to be in the future.
Well, you have served this nation with honour.
Recipient of numerous honours, including two Bronze Stars.
You have been a commander for SEAL teams as well.
You've risen up to Secretary of the Interior.
We want to talk about your latest decision, how to serve the nation again.
But first, if you'll indulge me, I want to share with our millions of listeners across the nation a story that really speaks to the Ryan Zinke that most people don't know.
You invited me to your office, which by the way, Eric, let's show the office, just the picture of the Secretary of the Interior's office, which, look, I served in the White House, and the Oval Office is cool, but the coolest office in DC is this wood-paneled office for the Secretary of the Interior, which you personalized with the Some interesting mementos.
Let's show the photograph of me with the secretary and a certain bear behind us.
That was your office as the secretary, but you didn't sit there giving out orders or shuffling papers.
I came to your office.
And after a few minutes of chatting about your vision for the department, which was mind-blowing in terms of the complexity and the dysfunction that you inherited, you said, come with me.
And we jumped in a vehicle and we went down to the Lincoln Memorial.
And you stood there just accosting tourists from wherever they arrived to say, hey, can I show you something?
I'm the Secretary of the Interior.
And a couple of them, quite rightly, didn't believe who you were and that you were actually prepared to take them.
Under the memorial to Abraham Lincoln, which you took us on a guided tour that you led yourself, which was stunning.
Secretary Zinke, will you explain to those who have no idea what's under the Lincoln Memorial?
Well, the memorial is the only memorial in the mall that is actually dug down to bedrock.
And I think the placement of the Lincoln Memorial is divine.
Because it sits across the river is Arlington National Cemetery.
And the fight for freedom and the ability for our country to reach out and have an opportunity for everyone.
The Civil War was a tough period in our history, but to get to where we are today, we had to go through and fight for our freedom and fight for those that needed freedom.
And you cross the Potomac, across the Memorial Bridge, and it leads you to the Lincoln Memorial.
And going underneath it, you understand the majesty and complexity of that building.
But also, it should be recognized that Lincoln is facing into the Mall.
And there are some that would say, well, you know, General Lee.
General Lee in old America was across the river, which is true.
But Lincoln is now Yeah.
ahead of Lee, and Lincoln is facing also Martin Luther King.
And they're all facing in one common direction, and that is our capital.
Our capital in order to form a more perfect union.
But the experience that, you know, I used to, if I had 45 minutes free time, I used to go across the mall and grab America and say, "Hi, I'm Ryan Zinke, and I'd like to show you a tour of the Lincoln Memorial." And as you know, going through it, it really is.
I think reflective of a great nation that we are.
And it's a huge cavern, people don't realize, underneath the memorial and along the reflecting pool is this huge cavern with stalactites, stalagmites.
You're giving us, you know, the guided tour and you even showed us the original construction workers' graffiti that they drew on the wall.
It's fascinating.
How did you know all of this stuff?
Or did you learn it on the job?
You know, I was on a run one day at Lakeland Memorial because I used to run from my house and go across the mall and up the stairs, and I saw this U.S.
Park Police individual come out of a door.
And I went up and said, Hey, I'm Ryan Zinke.
Where's the door go?
He goes, Well, it goes down in the basement.
I said, What's in the basement?
He says, Oh, it's really cool.
So, well, let's see it.
So we went down and I thought it was appropriate to share with as many people as I could.
You know there's also in the mall so you know right by the Washington monument there is a little manhole about 20 yards away that is an exact replica.
It's almost like a missile sitting in a silo and that replica was is judging whether or not the soil would be conducive to making that monument lean.
So they measure it each year but there is a A monument in a scaled size that's sitting in a silo.
You would never know.
People pass over it and walk over it every day.
A man who took his job very, very seriously.
Now he is running again.

Will you just very briefly give a summation?
Because you gave me this amazing briefing with charts of all the different land authorities across America.
When you came in there, As the man who stepped into the arena like Theodore Roosevelt.
You inherited a mess, didn't you, Secretary Zinke?
Well, it had been a mess in a long, long period.
And mostly it has to do from consolidation of power and control in D.C.
As you know, if you're a threat to disrupting that power, they go after you.
They went after us on day one.
Yeah.
But a lot of it now, how can you manage the Yellowstone River if you don't know where it is?
But DC is intent on managing our rivers, our species across the board in territory and land, which they don't understand.
They don't live out there.
And so for me, the reorganization was getting the power and decision making out of DC, out of the bureaucracy, back into the field.
And there was a lot of resistance along the way, but we were successful.
The other part about energy or interior was actually energy.
It is interior that has the public lands offshore that produces energy in this country.
And we went from 8.3 million barrels a day in declining when we came in.
In two short years, we were 12.5 million barrels a day.
The world's largest exporter across the board, not just fossil fuels, across the board.
And that goes to show you When America can run, when you get the regulatory environment out of the way, America can do wonderful things.
And oh, by the way, record-breaking safety record.
Yeah, absolutely.
What was your vision?
Tell us what the role should be for the federal government when it comes to these lands.
Smaller government is best.
What is your watchword when you were Secretary?
Well, I'm not an advocate for selling or transferring public land, but I am an advocate for managing it.
And Teddy Roosevelt was about managing land public use.
So we opened up millions of acres to hunting and fishing.
And there is a, you know, the far left wants to lock the doors to our public lands, shut the roads down.
And really what it does is it prevents access.
And with public lands, especially those of us out in the West, you know, we revere and use the outdoors a lot as part of our lifestyle.
But when gates are shut down and access is limited, then the next generation can't experience it.
And one of my favorite experiences growing up was, you know, going out and hunting with my father, my grandfather.
But when you shut down gates and access, you know, a lot of Americans won't be able to access it either because they're disabled, perhaps a veteran or elderly.
So we got to open up our public lands, use them wisely, multiple use, but also be good stewards.
And, you know, out West, these forest fires each year that burn down hundreds of thousands of acres cost billions of dollars.
A lot of it can be prevented by better forest management techniques.

Commander Zinke, Secretary Zinke, you made an observation right at the opening that as long as you're effective against the swamp, as long as you represent America first, they come after you on day one.
They came after me when I became the face of the president's travel moratorium for national security reasons.
They came after you as a very effective member of the cabinet.
Now you're running again.
Now you want to represent Montana again.
Why are you doing this and talk to us about your philosophy.
We've just found out Friday last from the Durham report that there was a private company given a classified internet contract for the White House so they could spy on President Trump.
Not just Trump Tower, not just his apartment, but on the new President of the United States.
Can the swamp be drained given those kind of tactics?
Well it can and if you look at the scale of what happened in the Russian collusion.
It was a Russian campaign operation that was inserted at the highest levels of government, misleading the FISA court to bring national collection assets to target the president and those around him.
Those transcripts then were unmasked by those that are sitting in the White House today.
You know, Watergate looked like a picnic.
Yeah.
And all of us that served and drained the swamp.
What a lot of a lot of people I think need to understand is that is the media, especially the social media, the Facebook's all emanating from San Francisco, the Democratic Party and the deep state, which is most of Washington, D.C.
You know, 94 percent of Washington, D.C.
voted for Biden, 94 percent.
So the media, the deep state, the Democratic Party, they're all one.
And so when you go into a cabinet position, it's like jumping behind enemy lines if you're a Republican.
And the more effective you are of changing the system, taking the money away, making sure taxpayer dollars are spent right, reorganizing, getting the power out of D.C., in Interior's case, establishing corridors, more recreation.
Energy independence, energy dominance, fixing our park systems, all those type of things and doing it by taking the power out of DC, they're going to go after you.
But I can tell you what, the reason why I'm running is we're not going to let the swamp win.
I love my country and we're in trouble.
There is no doubt.
I mean, if you're awake, you know that America's in trouble.
And a lot of it is because of the policies of energy, I mean, you look overseas.
If we were where we were during the Trump administration on energy, we wouldn't be in trouble in Eastern Europe because we could supply energy to our allies.
Same thing in the Pacific.
But when we're weak, when we're divided as a nation, our enemy and adversaries view that as an opportunity.
I think what we're going to see in Russia is moving to establish a corridor down the Crimean Peninsula.
And in concert, I fully expect China to continue to put pressure, perhaps military pressure, on Taiwan.
I want to talk to you as a former SEAL commander about the state of the US military, but let's just stay on the issue of the swamp for a second, and of course these things are all interconnected.
Are you surprised?
Talk to our listeners about, given that there were people at your level in the cabinet who were not on Team MAGA, who were not America First, isn't it stunning just how much President Trump's administration actually achieved despite that?
It was an incredible amount of just looking at the regulatory framework, just on regulation alone, it was an A+.
Going from 8.3 million barrels a day to 12.5, the world's largest exporter of energy and becoming energy dominant, A+.
Policies of taxes and understanding that more money in people's pocket drives the economy and then the border.
The wall where it was necessary and look you know interior actually owned 40% of the border and it's interesting about the border because most people kind of consider it desert but the border really is Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, but also Teneas, Saipan, American Samoa, Guam and US Virgin Islands and there's some places you're going to be able to put a wall there's some places you're not but you have to empower
The Border Patrol to do their job, no more catch and release, and you have to empower ICE to go after sanctuary cities, drug trafficking, human trafficking, sex trafficking.
And if you put a wall where you can, and you're not going to put a wall in the middle of the Rio Grande, for instance.
You're not going to put a wall over 2,000 foot cliffs at Big Bend National Park in Texas.
But there's a lot of places you can, you should, but a lot of it is empowering the Border Patrol and ICE to do their job.
As a former tier one commander and as a secretary of a department, can you explain to us what it takes when the city, and you said it right, 93% voted for Hillary, 94% voted for Biden.
What comes when you, what happens when you take over something like the Department of Interior?
How do you make sure that ship is actually, you know, stoking the engines for your navigational chart and not, you know, not pouring sugar into the engine?
Well, I always came to the philosophy, it is better to charge up a hill under fire than cower in a foxhole.
And never yield to pressure, only higher principle.
And finally, do right and fear no man.
If you keep that in perspective, and look, we were charged with President Trump to make a difference, to change that town, drain the swamp.
My method of operation, I would ask the president for a detailed executive order, because a lot of those decisions not only involve Department of Interior, but Department of Ag or Commerce.
So I want to make sure we're all on the same piece of paper, same plan.
The president signed it, and then we would aggressively execute his orders.
And I think that was one of the secrets to success.
Because, you know, when you have an executive order, you're measured on your performance by how much you got done.
And then dealing with fifth columnist elements, how bad was it as an interior?
Or did you just, you know, have to kick some backsides?
You know, we moved more people than I think any other department, all other departments probably combined.
But, you know, from a military perspective, yes, there's a debate about policy and everyone agrees on a plan, then everyone goes off.
A little different with federal employees.
You know, it's interesting.
A federal employee can write a complaint.
By law, that complaint has to be investigated, whether the complaint has merit or not.
And what they try to do, especially the cancel culture activists, is they try to slow you down anywhere they can by dumping investigations, false allegations, all these type of things, and just to slow you down.
But again, it is better to charge up a hill.
And you look at the cabinet members that probably received most of the incoming.
They were the most aggressive and got the most done.
Yeah, it really takes that leadership from the front.

Secretary Zinke, you've served in the Navy.
You've served as a SEAL commander.
You've witnessed what has happened in the last year alone.
I saw it beginning when I served in the Defence Department teaching counter-terrorism.
What is your response to and what is your prescription for how we deal with the levels of politicization of the officer corps, especially the flag officer corps, when we have the most senior military officer in the world, Mark Milley, say, I don't know what critical race theory is, but I think it's good and I'm happy it's being taught at West Point.
Give us, you know, as somebody who's been there killing bad guys for America, what do we do about this?
Well, let's look at one of the biggest catastrophes, certainly in my lifetime, and evaluate that first.
And that's Afghanistan.
So we not only abandoned our citizens, but we welded the gates shut in Kabul and willingly and knowingly left U.S.
citizens outside the perimeter to fend for themselves against the Taliban.
And mind you, at the same time, the Taliban were stoning to death Female pilots that we trained and hanging out of Blackhawks journalists.
And no one should forget 9-11.
So that was an abandonment.
And you have two four-star generals, former four-star general in the case of Secretary Austin.
They knew better.
They knew not to consolidate a Kabul.
But they got rolled, State Department.
And I think they should have resigned or stood up and said, no, Mr. President, this militarily, and it could have been much worse.
You know, Kabul is surrounded by about two and a half million people.
It's a little bowl.
The runway is a single runway.
You know, a mortar round or a disabled aircraft could have shut that whole thing down.
And not only do you have 2,500 troops at risk, plus thousands of civilians, U.S.
civilians, we didn't know, plus you have thousands of foreign nationals, our allies, it could have been You know, tantamount to the British losing the regiment in the 1800s.
I mean, it could have been a catastrophe, but you know, it took a, the credibility of our military was deeply hurt.
And I think that's what we're seeing now with Russia looking at our credibility, our loss of face with our allies.
NATO is not aligned.
You have, you have, France wanted to negotiate independently in the EU.
Germany is waffling.
Italy is sending their business guys to talk.
In our response, we immediately took military operations off the table, which if you're dealing with the Russians, as you know, you have to deal from a position of strength.
They smell weakness four miles.
And so I think Russia looks at it and goes, America's weak.
China sees the same in the Pacific.
And I think they will move in concert.
Which is another, you know, serious blow on national security.
I can't remember a flag officer who's resigned on principle in the last decade.
Is there honor left in the senior ranks of the military?
There is.
But I think, you know, military too is, a lot of it is red, white and blue.
The more senior you get tends to be a little more political.
But I remember, you know, walking across the tarmac at Dover with President Trump.
Receiving a body of a teammate who fell in battle and it was President Trump's first casualty.
And I never remember anyone saying, was he a Republican or was he a Democrat?
The flag was American.
And I think that's an important part of the military is you don't wear a jersey, you wear red, white, and blue, and you fight for Americans and you fight with Americans.
And, of course, we have the footage now incontrovertible of the man who sadly bears the title of commander in chief right now, looking at his watch not once, not twice, but four times, four times when the mangled bodies of the 13 four times when the mangled bodies of the 13 murdered by ISIS in Kabul were handed over at that Air Force base in America.
And that man is Joe Biden.
We're talking to former SEAL commander, former member of Congress for Montana and former Secretary of State Ryan Zinke.

And we are going to be talking about his latest decision to serve the nation.
This is America First one on one with me, Sebastian Gorka, former strategist to the 45th president of the United States, President Donald John Trump.
So, the big decision has been taken.
You're not going, you're not riding, I mean, you are a horseman, but you're not riding off to the, on the sunset on your loyal steed.
You haven't disappeared from public life, Commander Zinke.
So what's your latest decision?
Tell us about it.
Tell us about your vision and why you've decided to serve America once more.
Well, America's in trouble.
And if you're breathing, you recognize that, but it is fixable.
And how do we fix it?
The first step is you get a majority in Congress, but Congress has to do two things.
One is Republicans have to lead.
That means we have to articulate a message of what we stand for, what we'll fight for in a vision to where we're going as a country.
And also the Republicans have to open up the budget.
And why the House is most important this cycle is we don't have a presidential election.
The Senate needs to make sure they have the confirmations in check, but it's really the House that can open up the budget, stop the excessive spending.
You know, right now, I am now for a constitutional amendment for a balanced budget.
I think Congress needs that anvil over the top of them.
Well, look, we can't continue to spend and waste money at the magnitude we are.
And I think if Congress does their job, which will be difficult, but if Congress can lead, does their job, get the budget in good condition, that will lead us to a victory in 2024, and then we'll save the country.
I agree with you completely on the budgetary issues, but here's my challenge to you.
When you see what's happened to the Democrat party, this is a party that has been captured by radicals.
You don't have to like Bill Clinton, but at least he reigned in the crazies.
It's really the squad that seems to be running things.
There's no rational Democrat left.
There's two senators who, for specific reasons of not wanting to lose their seats in strongly Republican states, are kind of tamping down the nutters, the crazy people.
But how do you deal with, if you win your campaign, is there a normal Democrat that you can sit down and talk with, for example, on these budgetary issues?
You know, I think there is.
Away from the rhetoric, you know, I had friends on both sides of the aisle.
But as you point out, crazies.
You have on the left, you have crazies that are communist socialists.
On the right, we have our group as well.
But we're all Americans.
And this is why Teddy Roosevelt, I think that message is, look, we're going to have to fix this country.
Uh, honoring the constitution, the freedoms in Montana, you know, we're a pretty second, second amendment, uh, state.
I mean, the second amendment protects all the others, uh, on that.
But, uh, you know, it is leadership.
And I think Kevin McCarthy is going to be the starting quarterback.
I think that's a pretty good analogy.
The operational patience of the Republican party is pretty thin.
So he's going to have to put points on the board.
We're going to have a lot of new members that we're going to have to make sure we mentor and help.
To consolidate a message where the Republican party as a whole can gravitate to defend and operate and execute.
And, you know, there are a couple of Republicans that I don't think they're Republicans anymore.
They do more harm to the brand than they do help.
And, you know, in a Montana analogy, if you get things that are harming the brand, you just need to carve them out of the herd and to make sure that we unify the message.
A lot of it is convincing America that the Republican ideals of freedom, of limited government, of self-determination are executable and are available.
The opportunity for the American dream is there for everyone.
And your campaign to run for Congress in that endeavor, you have been wholeheartedly endorsed by President Trump, correct?
I have.
So I have President Trump's total and complete endorsement, Senator Daines' total and complete endorsement.
I have Greg Gianforte, who's the governor of Montana, his complete and total endorsement.
NRA, I have an A+, 100% right for life voting.
But I think an advantage I have is I have actually delivered a budget to Congress.
I am fairly influential.
What I find myself is coming back to Congress, I'll be a senior congressman.
So for Montana, we need the influence to protect our way of life.
And Montana, as you know, is a little different than the East Coast.
We like the outdoors.
We're a little libertarian, not liberal.
Libertarian in that we just don't like to be told what to do.
And there's a lot of independence streak in Montana.
And I think having someone of influence to protect our way of life is important.
And as a representative, that's your job.
And you represent the people that voted for you, the people that don't.
You represent the people that will never vote for you.
But as a representative, I think what you do is you represent the spirit, integrity of the great state of Montana.
Well, you've proven yourself in uniform.
You've proven yourself at a cabinet level.
What is your specific message for the people of Montana regarding your new campaign?
Well, I tend to be a little bit of a cheerleader because there's a lot of fear, uncertainty, and doubt.
There's a lot of false media.
There's a lot of negative press.
There's a lot of distractions.
And those distractions, a lot of times, are preventing us from getting things done.
And as you know, there's a lot of hate and anger out there.
So my message is, look, America is fixable, but it's up to all of us to participate.
When we let our school boards go, when we let our county commissioners go, when we don't participate in state legislatures, or we don't have people that will fight for our values and freedoms in D.C., then our country sways.
It's kind of like, you know, we all got on a bus.
You know, it was America's bus and we thought it was going to go to the destination.
We got on and we're all living our lives.
All of a sudden we look out the window and we're not anywhere near where we thought we were going, and there's no bus driver!
So we've got to put a foot on the brakes.
Someone's got to get a map out and direct us back to the freeway in order to make a more perfect union.
Yeah, or the bus driver is drooling and senile, which seems to be the case, and he's got a little earpiece and he's listening to somebody back home called Susan Rice.
I think that's the analogy for what's happening with that bus right now.
She's at the center of a lot of things.
Yeah, the only person who wasn't congressionally Senate-confirmed, of course, because she wouldn't be, but she is running the Domestic Policy Council and she's really running the White House.

You mentioned fear, and you're right.
You know, you'll say you want with your new campaign, you want to be a bit of a cheerleader.
You want to give people a positive vision of what we can do in America because there is so much fear and there's so much doubt.
If you just, you know, how much is gas going to be next month?

How much is going to be next month?
So as somebody who's, you know, SEAL Team 6, you've got SEAL Team 1, you've got that thing down.
You know what to do with fear.
You know where to file it away.
What is your advice?
What is your message to everyone listening, whether they're in Montana or across the country, when it comes to the future of America and why you remain literally a happy warrior?
Well, our enemies should fear us.
Yes.
But Americans should understand And I think retrench in the values that have made this country great.
We are a great country.
We have great values, but democracy is fragile.
It takes participation.
It takes dedication.
And I'm an optimist.
America is going to pull out of this, but we're going to have to pull out of it by, again, what is the narrative?
Where are we going to go as a country?
What's important to us?
I think the Constitution.
I think limited government.
I think self-determination.
The government should tell you what to do.
And lastly, you look at what's happened about shaming and the media.
Vaccinations is an example.
If you don't march in line like a little communist holding a red book, if you even raise your hand in some instances and say, well, what about the efficacy?
What about natural immunity?
What about ivermectin?
What about these things?
You're shamed.
In some cases, you lose your livelihood.
In some cases, you would lose your license to practice.
Even asking the question.
And similar with climate change.
If you don't believe in lock, stock, and barrel, everything about it, then you're anti-science.
And if you look at, well, I have natural immunity, or I sit in a demographic that risk is not there, oh, you're an anti-vaxxer.
So, you know, I think we're going to have to rein into the media and the effect it's having when so much of the media and social media itself is controlled by a relatively few Instagram and Facebook.
I mean, they're really the thought drivers of what's happening in the country.
