Glenn Beck addresses Linda's concerns on the Iran war and critiques the Southern Poverty Law Center following its $3 million fraud indictment. He contrasts $2 trillion in economic fraud with states like Texas stockpiling gold against $40 trillion in debt, while highlighting Matthew David Kierans' 12-year sentence for stealing William Donald Woods' identity. The episode warns against FISA extensions without warrants and AI deception, urging listeners to "feed hope" through timeless wisdom rather than succumbing to despair. American Financing Review00:02:06
I had an amazing talk with Linda from Florida.
She was a listener, disagreed with the war in Iran.
And she said, it's all going to end up with our soldiers coming home in a box, and Trump is wrong.
This is not America first.
I spent about 45 minutes with her today.
I'd love for you to hear all of it, but some of the clips of it are in this best of podcast.
But it is a way to model the conversation, and you won't believe the conversation that we had.
It was really, really good.
It kind of beads hope, which is another topic.
That I talked about feeding your hope.
And who's winning?
An SPLC update and an update of all of the stories of the week.
What were the important ones?
And what do all of them, looking at them as a whole, what does it tell us?
Who's winning?
All of that and more on today's Best of Podcast.
First, let me tell you about American financing.
You know, a lot of Americans dealing with right now, you're making decent money, maybe you're working hard, you're paying the bills on time, and you're not getting ahead.
And it feels like the world is stacked up against you.
Sometimes it's not your income that's causing all the pressure.
It's the way debt is stacked against you.
High interest credit cards, payment going in 10 different directions, money leaking out every month with nothing to show for it.
It is enough to drive a responsible person out of their mind.
So I want to talk to you about American Financing.
They help homeowners use the equity built in their homes to take control of that debt and create some breathing room.
I know you don't want to get rid of your low interest rate that you have maybe on your mortgage.
So don't leave that alone.
They have another way.
To attack this and get you out of the 25% interest rate on your credit card and maybe get you into something 5, 6, 7%.
If you own a home, find out what is possible with American financing.
No upfront fees.
To find out if you qualify, call American Financing now at 800 906 2440, 800 906 2440, or go to Americanfinancing.net.

This isn't a podcast.
This is a movement.
And you're part of it, a big part of it.
So if you believe in what we're doing, you want more people to wake up, help us push this podcast to the top.
review share together we'll make a difference and thanks for standing with us now let's get to work I looked at all the stories that are coming out today.
In case you didn't get our newsletter, you need to.
You sign up.
It's a free email newsletter at glenbeck.com.
It gives you all the stories of the day that I look at.
We get to a fraction of them, but they're all the stories that my staff and I are following every day and we think are important for you to see to understand the world in which we live.
So, what are the stories that came out today that I think we need to pay attention to?
And some of these happen during the week, they've been unfolding during the week.
So, let's look at the week here.
For years, the Southern Poverty Law Center acted as America's self appointed moral referee.
They have been a bane of our existence for years and years and years.
One label from them they label you a hate group, and lives were ruined.
Bank accounts were closed.
Companies canceled contracts.
Reputations destroyed.
No trial, no evidence, no appeal.
Just their voice.
That's the verdict.
That's the truth.
Well, finally, this week, the DOJ announced that they are under federal indictment.
And I want to be really careful here because I got a million axes to grind with these guys.
But I want to stay focused on what the government said they did a $3 million fraud scheme.
What they did was they routed money under fake names, opening fake bank accounts, hiding payments from donors, and cooking the books while they preached morality to everybody else.
Now, the media is trying to spin this as they were just paying off, you know, people.
You know, in the neo Nazi group to help them, you know, infiltrate.
Well, you can't do that as a 501.
If you're the FBI, you can do that.
But if you're a 501c3, you don't have the right to do it.
You can't open fake bank accounts, you can't fake wire transfers.
That's what the whole Patriot Act is all about.
Okay?
You can't do it.
But the media is spinning this into a nothing burger.
And if it goes nowhere, charges of banking fraud, if those are real and it goes nowhere, we're screwed.
But even if half of the stuff that the government is alleging is true, this was the group claiming to expose Nazis and extremism, and they may have played a big part in manufacturing some of it.
I mean, look, hate exists, Nazis exist, racists exist, all of that exists.
But they helped keep it going.
They made it into a bigger racket and they advertised, you know, the referee was rigging the game.
So that credibility should be gone from everybody, but it's not.
It's not.
But notice this week that everything is beginning to wobble a bit.
Perhaps, perhaps some now on the left are seeing why the left, or some on the right, are seeing why the left reacted the way they did to Elon Musk and TARP.
Okay.
They couldn't get them out of Washington fast enough.
They were burning down his businesses.
Okay.
Why?
We now know if you follow the money, the entire house of cards comes down.
Officials are now estimating that.
Now, listen to this.
Between 2018 and 2022, $2 trillion were lost to fraud and corruption.
We have a budget debt of $40 trillion.
But in those four years, and that was before things really got going, in those four years alone, they added $2 trillion to that debt.
Are you kidding me?
If we could just do TARP and get rid of all of this corruption, we would be able to pay down that debt pretty quickly instead of adding.
Take the $2 trillion and pay down.
This is always what happens when the ends justify the means.
Truth, integrity, theft, even murder don't matter as long as it serves the higher purpose of what?
The destruction of America and the Western world.
You saw that last week with Swalwell.
Didn't matter.
As long as he was helping them, he could get away with anything.
The minute he started hurting them, he was out.
Ends justify the means.
And this same twisted thinking is everywhere.
Listen to this story.
In Houston, and we'll have more on this because this is a new story and we don't have all the details yet.
But in Houston, two teenage girls, two teenage girls, were charged with plotting to ram a synagogue and kill as many Jews as possible.
That's a quote from them.
Now, thank God they were stopped.
And let's see what the court's going to do to these two girls.
But let me just point this out.
A society, a culture is lost.
When the nurturing class becomes the killer class.
Understand that.
Guys, they are violent by nature.
They are the protectors.
Women are the nurturers.
When women become a killer class, your culture is over.
But again, why?
Why are they becoming a killer culture?
Because the ends justify the means.
At UC Berkeley this week, students erupted in applause.
For a failed Palestine suicide bomber who spoke at Political Prisoners Day.
He was trying to kill himself.
He failed, and they brought him on to speak, and they held him up as a hero.
And at the same time, the New York Times this week gave airtime to voices claiming shoplifting is a valid form of political protest.
I just said, ends justify the means.
That leads to theft, to lies, to murder.
You just seen it this week.
And this isn't disconnected madness.
This is what happens when a society lets grievance culture rewrite morality.
Because you've been wronged, you can do this.
That's all of the seven deadly sins, all wrapped up into that.
Okay?
Harm becomes negotiable when you can base it on who's doing it.
Good and evil get flipped.
And who pays the price?
Your children's future.
Civilization collapses.
And look how it's collapsing.
Let's look this week at the cities that have been swallowed by this whole, whole, swallowed whole.
New York, Zoran Mandani.
He stood outside of Ken Griffin's building grinning about, I'm taxing the rich.
I'm going to make them pay.
So, what did Citadel do?
What was the richest response?
That's okay.
We're just not going to invest the $6 billion redevelopment project.
That would have created 6,000 construction jobs and 15,000 permanent ones.
That's not a threat.
That's capital walking through the door.
That's capital saying, okay, we don't have to do that.
So who gets hurt?
6,000 construction jobs.
Mamdani doesn't care about those people.
He cares about the elites.
He cares about the Columbia educated.
He didn't care about the construction workers, the 15,000 permanent jobs.
I don't even know what those jobs are.
Do they need a college degree?
Does he care about those guys?
Think of that 20,000 jobs, one fell swoop.
Now, meanwhile, let me white pill you here.
On the flip side, red states like Texas and Florida are doing something that would have sounded crazy.
In fact, I said it two decades ago.
I said it, what, 17 years ago.
You're going to see people, and when you see states start to stockpile their gold, We're going to be in real trouble.
Well, Florida and Texas are now protecting themselves because of the $40 trillion in debt, the reckless spending, the out of control ideas that are coming.
If we lose the next two elections, it's coming.
And at least two states know this has got to stop.
So they're bringing their gold back.
I'm going to get into that next week.
That's way important.
If your state's not doing it, it should.
Meanwhile, Virginia is.
Staring down a Democrat drawn congressional map that could lock in one party progressive rule and turn it into California 2.0.
It's almost already there.
Higher taxes, more homelessness, open border spending.
We've seen this movie before.
I don't know what's wrong with people, but okay, whatever.
And now they're saying, well, Florida should do it.
Well, nobody wins on this, gang.
Once you open this, no one wins.
The rule of law goes out the window.
Now, the same pressure is hitting America's adversaries abroad.
I showed you yesterday what's happening in Canada.
They're no longer a free nation, as we've always understood Canada to be free.
It's not.
And it doesn't look like there's anything that's going to slow them down.
Pray for the people of Alberta, quite frankly.
That might do the trick.
Maybe.
Maybe.
In the Middle East, we're told today by some podcasters that Trump's ceasefire doesn't make any sense.
Wait, he's expanded it by two weeks.
Wait, first you said no troops and stop the killing.
So when he does stop the killing, what?
You want him to start killing again?
I'm confused.
I can't follow your logic here.
I can't.
Which is it?
You want him to do war or not do war?
You want him to negotiate with teeth or not negotiate with teeth?
I don't get it.
But so you know, everything we said we were probably doing, it looks like we are doing now.
We're negotiating and we're bleeding them dry of their oil.
President Trump also expanded the Israel Lebanon ceasefire another three weeks.
He has carriers in the region.
He has ordered the Navy to shoot and kill any Iranian boats that are laying mines in the Strait of Hormuz.
It's not like those old mines with the spikes on them and stuff, these are down underneath the water.
But he sunk most of their submarines, if not all of them.
But he's made it clear nuclear weapons are not going to be allowed.
And the first time in years, bad actors are facing real consequences instead of, you know, pallets full of cash on their airport, tarmac.
Their economy is collapsing.
Some people say it has days before they have to shut down the oil wells.
And if that happens, no income, no income.
They're over, no income.
Already their GDP is down over 40% because of the last couple of weeks.
This is bad.
The supreme leader, burned, disfigured, losing control now, I guess to people even more hardline than he is, but I don't know what a mullah who's gay is.
I mean, how hardline they are.
I hate to use that phrase.
But now, some bad news.
The parliament speaker just quit the negotiating team.
The regime is cracking, still talking tough, but the hardliners seem to be gaining power.
But we don't know for sure.
The news today that came out right before I came on the show is they are sending their team to Pakistan to actually engage in talks this week.
So we could see.
Again, another Friday where I say to you, let's see.
Maybe it's peace by Monday.
Maybe not.
China is also feeling the news.
It's tightening on their energy supply lines from Venezuela to Iran, Caribbean, all of that.
The administration is accusing now Beijing of industrial scale campaigns to steal AI from America.
This is huge, huge.
And we're not just talking tough to protect ourselves, we're actually finally taking real action against China, carrying a big stick, but not using the full force of it yet, because we don't want to do that.
Back home, also this week, you should know real enforcement is returning.
Governor Abbott has cut a deal with Houston to honor ICE warrants after threatening to withhold $114 million in state grants.
Good.
Borders are Tom Homan has invited Pope Leo, come along with ICE, come with us on some of these raids so you can see the border and what we're doing with your own eyes.
And please, Pope Leo, I have no problem with the Catholics or you.
I don't want to fight with any of them, but please don't tell us that the Muslims are not a problem and we.
And we shouldn't worry about that.
Your Vatican walls were built to keep the Muslim invaders out of Vatican City.
So please learn your own history and don't lecture us about politics.
Yours is God, not politics.
Federal agents just dismantled major pieces of the Mexican mafia in Southern California.
Dozens arrested, prison leadership hit, drugs, guns, extortion, all these networks taken down.
That's good news.
And all of this connects to what?
We're making progress.
The institutions that lied to us are losing their grip.
The moral confusion they spread is being exposed in real time.
Don't get me wrong, we are not killing them.
We are wounding them.
But if you go after the king, you better make sure you take the king out.
They are not out, not by a long shot.
But yesterday, the Tides Foundation finally found themselves in the scope of law enforcement.
But they're going to fight back.
And in the end, they're so old and exposed now, they might just morph instead of die.
But the economic consequences of bad ideas are starting to hit hard.
And the enemies who grew bold during the years of weakness are suddenly under real pressure.
Unfortunately, so are you.
I told you before, it's a race to the finish line.
I pray JD Vance and the new AG are going to be working hard and fast to stop the bleed.
Of half a trillion dollars a year in corruption.
Imagine if we weren't giving this money away to NGOs and Somalis and illegals who were funneling all this money through NGOs, 501c3s, and democratic platforms.
Imagine what you could do with that money.
But this is a stress test for the country.
Some things are cracking, some things are holding.
But I want you to know while we're making progress, nothing is set in concrete yet.
Everybody who is working to destroy us, everybody who hates Trump needs him, and anyone who thinks like him out.
If we can keep the House and the Senate and we can somehow win in 2028, we have a chance of killing this virus.
I mean, this is a virus that, I mean, this has the Republic on a COVID vent.
The Israel Problem00:13:57
We're not off the vent yet.
We have to stay vigilant, even with our own side.
The House GOP, the FISA extension without warrant requirement should worry every single American who values liberty.
Make no mistake.
Make no mistake, we have to stand against our own side at the same time.
But also, don't make the mistake of saying the world is in chaos.
It's not.
Part of the world is trying to create chaos.
Social media will think that everything Trump is doing is chaos.
It is not.
It's a reckoning, it's a sorting out what is true and what was built on lies.
What survives this moment is what we'll build on or rebuild on.
And the choice is still ours to make.
Let me tell you about Relief Factor.

Now back to the podcast.
This is the best of the Glenn Beck program, and we really want to thank you for listening.
Welcome to the Glenn Beck program.
Linda is calling from Florida.
Hi, Linda.
Welcome to the Glenn Beck program.
How can I help you?
Hi.
I'm calling from the Tampa Bay area, and I'm calling in regards to the Israel, United States, and Iran war.
Okay.
I was calling.
I know you're more for it or in support of it.
Yeah.
I'm not for it.
I mean, no, nobody's for it.
I didn't mean it like that.
But I am, I look at it and I feel like we're being bamboozled in regards to the United States being told, you know, Iran.
Iran's been two weeks from having, you know, the nuclear power.
I 100% agree with you.
Yeah.
Since the 90s.
I mean, Netanyahu has been saying that since 98.
Yeah.
Well, no, it wasn't just Israel, it was all of the world's intel.
And I said at the very beginning, Don't start with me on they were two weeks away from a nuclear weapon.
I've heard that since, you know, I've been on the year, I've done this now for 49 years.
So I remember when they first went in and I remember when we first started hearing about them going after nukes.
So they've been two weeks away forever.
So I'm 100% with you on that.
Doesn't carry a lot of water with me.
Right.
So, how are we, and you are, you know, very important in what's going on, the dialogue of the world and what people think.
What, What would make you think it's different today and in this moment?
Because, as far as you said, that the world's intel was claiming, you know, everything was bleeding, that they did have that ability to make nuclear.
But how come the NATO powers are totally against this?
Well, the NATO powers.
I'm not going to let's not bring NATO in as a credible organization.
But let me go through this with you because thank you for approaching it this way, Linda.
I love having this debate.
And maybe you will bring some points out that will change my mind.
But let me just explain how I look at things.
This is, in some ways, and I'm going to be very careful on making sure you understand this this is Israel's war.
For them, they believe that Iran is an imminent threat.
If Mexico was saying what Iran is saying to us all the time, you know, we're going to wipe you out.
You're going to burn.
Americans are going to burn in the Islamic fury of the fire, everything else.
And they backed it up and they were lobbing missiles and having terror strikes all the time in the United States of America.
We would view Mexico exactly the way they're viewing Iran.
That doesn't make it America's war.
That makes it.
Israel's war.
So they have to fight the way they want to fight.
And I give them the right because we would demand that right if it was happening to us this close to us.
Would you agree with that?
Yes and no.
They've been saying that for, they've been, Iran has been saying that for decades.
Right.
No, no, wait, Don't just talk about, wait, wait.
Don't just talk about nukes.
That's why I brought in the terror strikes.
I mean, they are constantly bombing.
Israel.
They are constantly doing terror strikes.
Just look at this not as Israel, look at this as us.
If Canada or Mexico were sending terrorists in and they were blowing people up and schools and school buses and they were killing our people and they did an October 7th on us, would you stand for that as an American?
Or would you say, we're going to stop this right now?
I would not stand for it, but I think there's no but there.
There's no but there.
There's no but.
You wouldn't stand for it.
And anything else from any American is a lie.
If this were, forget about Israel, forget about the Jews and everything else.
If the same thing were happening to us, all of us would say, get them.
So that's Israel's war, and that's their business.
Where the problem becomes is, were they convincing us that that war we should help fight?
And if they were, your problem is not with Israel.
Your problem should be with Donald Trump because that's exactly what Marco Rubio's job is.
Marco Rubio's job is to go in and convince other nations it's in your best interest to go in with war with us.
And it's the right and the responsibility of every other nation to go yes or no.
If we convince you of something that you shouldn't be involved in because it's really in our best interest, that's the fault of their prime minister or their king or their president, not the foreign leaders who are convincing.
So this is where I kind of separate with people.
Your problem is not with the foreign minister or the prime minister of Israel.
Your problem should be with the people who are making the decisions to go along with it, if that were true.
So you.
Brought up very good points.
So, two things with that.
Apparently, and again, I'm nobody.
Like, I get my news by reading and scouring the radio and, you know, trying to figure out what the truth is.
Right.
Our Pentagon said that we would never be able to win this war.
This isn't going to be a Venezuela where, you know, we take out the main person.
So, your problem is not with Israel.
Your problem should be with the commander in chief that made the decision.
Separate those two.
I think Israel was.
Israel was giving intel to our.
Then our.
Your problem here, you have to listen to me.
Listen to me here.
If somebody gives you, fool me once, shame on you.
Fool me since 1979, shame on me.
So your problem is not with Israel.
If Israel, you've just made the case that Israel has been saying the same thing forever.
So the problem is why are the people, why is our side falling for it yet again?
You said the Pentagon didn't fall for it.
I don't know if that's absolutely true.
I know that there was a split there, but I don't think it's true.
The president has to decide who he believes.
But if you say he believed the wrong side, the problem is not with Israel, it's with the president of the United States, is it not?
Yes, and the people that he surrounds himself with.
Which is his decision.
He picks those people, right?
So I don't understand if you're against the war, stop with the Israel part.
Stop with it.
You can disagree with Israel.
You can say all the things you said about, you know, they look at it wrong, they're wrong for whatever.
But when it comes to us getting involved, stop blaming it on Israel.
If that's your point of view, the.
The responsibility only falls on Donald Trump's shoulders, right?
Ask you one more question.
Okay.
Could you give me a right on that or you disagree?
Yes.
Oh, absolutely.
He chose to be president.
He won, and yeah, it does fall on his shoulders.
And it's his decision.
The buck stops with him.
Correct.
Great.
Okay, good.
So, what's your next question?
How do you feel about the Greater Israel Project?
What is the Greater Israel Project?
It is a project where Israel wants to expand its borders into parts of Lebanon.
I guess it was like the old borders.
They were essentially like playing a tug of war with South Lebanon and wanting to go into.
So is this a bigger problem than Iran saying that they want to have a global caliphate?
Or do you put them in the same boat?
Well, I think it's a different topic.
All together.
Why?
What's the difference between the two?
I think Israel, I'm sorry, I think Iran, it's not empty words because words do have meaning, but Iran has been saying what they've been saying for decades.
Okay.
Yeah, but they've been backing that up with power.
They've been backing that up with terror all over the Middle East.
I mean, Hamas, for the very first time, Hezbollah, I'm sorry, for the very first time, Hezbollah does not control Lebanon.
Now, whether Israel wants to expand or not, that's a completely different story than the war.
Let's not borrow more trouble here.
That's a separate thing.
And we can talk about that and we can debate that.
I am for every nation being able to defend themselves in the way they think they need to defend themselves.
I may disagree with it and I may say, we're not on your side, but every country has a right to.
To do what they think is in their best national interest.
Again, we may be against it, we might even fight against it, but that's their business, not our business.
Would you agree with that?
Yes.
In my older age, I wish when I was younger I did read into history now because I think the problems that we see today, and without that, that's now going into less deal, but there is, I mean, if all of your audience like reads into the history of Iran, and you have even mentioned it, like Iran, you know, a number of years, decades ago, the women, Look like Western women.
Yes.
And then there was like a regime change, some sort of coup d'etat.
Some sort.
And everything changed.
Right.
It's the Islamic State that now rules Iran.
They overthrew it with Marxists and Islamists.
And that's what happened.
It wasn't some sort of coup d'etat, it was the Iranian Revolution of 1979.
There was, though, wasn't Iran's oil at one point controlled by the England?
The British, and they wanted sovereignty over their oil.
Yeah, you went, now you're going back to the Balfour Accords.
So you're going back between World War I and World War II.
But if you want to get into that, you can't say that Iranians, the Iranian borders were right or this was wrong, but the Israel borders are right or wrong, because it was done all at the same time by the same people.
So, you can't legitimize one government, and that means you can't legitimize Iran, I mean Israel, and demonize Iran.
The borders were all done at the same time by the same people.
So, you have to delegitimize all of it.
And quite honestly, I don't think you can do that.
That would be like us going back, you know, it's these people who say, you're living on stolen land.
Well, okay, you know, that was many, many years ago.
This is the way it is.
If you want to fight a war, That's how things are usually done.
This was done by the UN and sanctioned by the UN.
It was the New World Order, and this is how we're going to do it, and the Balfour deal, and all this stuff.
They tried to do it through negotiation.
Squaring Your Shoulders00:06:36
Was that a good idea?
I don't think it was, but this is what it is now.
And so, why are we going back and rehashing that?
Because if you want to, then you have to open up the entire Middle East.
And that doesn't sound like a good idea.
No.
I mean, I will, yeah.
I mean, Persia.
Former Iran, Persia.
Great.
Former Persia, Iran is over a millennia old.
But it is definitely, I feel like all of us should definitely do our homework.
Yes, we should.
You know, read more what happened leading up to basically everything that is happening today.
Can you, Linda, I so enjoyed our conversation.
Can you hold on a bit?
Because you were for Donald Trump and now you're not.
And is that right?
Is that correct?
I voted for him three times.
Yeah, I voted for him three times.
So, can I pursue that with you a little bit?
Because I've really enjoyed our conversation.
Sure.
Okay, good.
Hang on just a second.
You're streaming the best of Glenn Beck.

You know, I'm so grateful for listeners like Linda who came in and look at what a reasonable conversation can produce.
I don't know if we agree on everything, but we walked away willing to have a conversation with each other again.
And we were at Polar opposites when we first started, and I think we found a lot in common, and that's where.
That's where white pilling comes in.
Okay.
We are all black pilled on something, one way or another.
We're black pilled on so many things.
But I want you to start looking for things of hope.
Jason, you just played.
Who was it that was testifying in front of the Senate yesterday on COVID that you just played?
Oh, that was Senator Johnson.
It was an interview.
It wasn't a testimony.
Okay.
Interview.
And he was talking about what they're now finding with COVID and uncovering, et cetera, et cetera.
And we can sit here and go, yeah, but is anyone going to pay for that?
At least.
Is now coming out and being verified.
We are showing the facts now.
And that's where everything can change.
If you stay focused on facts and don't let people, you've got to compartmentalize.
You're never going to be able to think everything through if you keep dodging from one squirrel to the next.
You've got to follow one point all the way down and answer that.
Then take the next fact and follow that all the way down and make your decision on that.
When you put them all back together, if one of those disagrees with the other, then you got to start all over again.
But it's hard work.
It's hard work.
But there is a lot of good stuff that is going on right now, and we are starving for hope.
I mean, right now, so many of us, I mean, look around, look around to all your friends.
Okay.
People wake up, they're tired.
They're already convinced, you know, it's not going to change.
Good life is out of reach.
We're, you know, like Linda said an hour ago, I want to get the exact quote from her.
We all know this is going to be an endless war.
Men and women, our boys are going to come back in a box.
We don't know that.
That's black pilled.
That's black pilled.
And we swallow these things whole.
And, you know, all the way from that to I'm never going to be able to own a house or have the family or the future I want.
And we're exhausted.
We're desperate.
And we scroll through media, social media, which is filled with lies.
Okay.
And you feel smaller and smaller and more confused and more despair with every swipe up.
Okay.
Hope is dying in us, one comparison at a time.
But if we would stop and start, decide to feed hope every single day, stop, stop waking up to dread, start waking up to possibilities.
Life changes.
Your chest isn't so heavy.
You start squaring your shoulders, beginning to look up a little bit, and you begin to believe again that maybe life can be good and meaningful right where we are, not someday when we make it.
You trade numbness for expectancy.
We trade fear for courage.
We become the kind of person who can face hard days without being crushed by them.
And if enough of us do this, our culture begins to heal.
And hope becomes a real powerful weapon.
Hopelessness, hopeless people are very dangerous.
They tear things down.
But hope filled people build things, they create, they love, they fight for what's good.
Families stay together, communities come alive.
You know, and the generation that says it's screwed now, they begin living boldly again and risking and building.
I want you to do a couple of things.
Write this down.
I want you to do a few things every single day if you can.
If you want to be white pilled, okay?
Start your day with eternal truth.
Read something that was built before, that was written long before any of this crap started, okay?
Read things that are true.
Spend five minutes reading scripture or some timeless wisdom that reminds you.
That hope is alive, truth is alive, truth is God.
Okay.
Two, write down one specific hope or prayer and keep it visible.
Keep it right in front of you, something that gives you hope every day.
Put it right in front of you all the time.
You start to doubt, look at that picture.
Take one faithful action, no matter how small.
Take one faithful action to serve somebody else.
Okay.
Move towards a meaningful goal that is about helping other people, whatever it is.
Four, limit your comparison and feed your mind with stories of real resistance and redemption instead of endless scrolling.
And then when you end the day, Ben Franklin used to do this.
He kept a charter.
He started, he kept a diary every morning.
He had a list of all the things, all of the attributes that he wanted to embody in his life.
William Woods Identity Theft00:08:01
And then he would check them off.
He'd read them and he'd check them off.
And then he'd come back to that same list at night and he would write where he failed and where he can do better and where he failed.
Where he excelled that day, so he could make it even better the next day.
Remember every day that God's faithful in your life or in our history.
If you do these things and you watch, you'll be stronger every day and you'll be much stronger than your circumstances soon.
It does work.
It does work.
We have to get out of this black pill, but we also have to look at the truth.
I'm going to tell you a story you want to talk about scary.
Let me tell you this story.
I read this in a court document.
Let me tell you the story in a story form.
It's Albuquerque, New Mexico.
It's in the late 1980s at a hot dog cart, and two guys meet each other at this hot dog court.
One is down on his luck, he's just scraping by.
The other sees an opportunity and steals that guy's entire life.
I don't know if you've read about this yet.
This is a story of Matthew David Kieran's, I think his name is, and the man whose name he took, William Donald Woods.
It has been going on since the 1980s, and it is, I mean, it's Kafka.
It's a nightmare, okay?
But it finally caught up.
So here's what happened.
By all appearances, the man named William Woods had turned his life around.
From the homeless hot dog vendor to a married father, successful hospital IT administrator, he was earning over $100,000 a year in Wisconsin.
He had bank accounts, credit lines, family.
Everything looked legitimate.
One problem he wasn't the hot dog vendor.
He's not William Woods.
His real name was Matthew David Kierins.
In the 1980s, Kierins met the real Woods at that hot dog stand.
And Woods was a co worker, he was vulnerable, he was transient.
Kieran's didn't just borrow the name, he became William Woods.
He got a social security card, driver's license, insurance, loans, credit, all in Woods' name.
And when Kieran's stole cars, the warrants and arrests landed on Woods.
He married and had a child who carried the stolen surname.
His own wife never knew the truth.
Meanwhile, the real William Woods was drifting through life.
He was homeless, he was bewildered.
Debts, warrants, legal troubles, all piled up in his name.
And he was like, wait, but that's not me.
Now skip ahead.
It started in the 1980s.
It's now 2019.
The real hot dog stand guy, the real Woods, now is in California.
And he walks into a bank branch and he's trying to do the right thing.
And he's trying to clear all this up.
And he's like, no, that's not who I am.
Somebody stole my identity and they're racking up debt.
And he shows his real social security card.
But the banker notices the account address is in Wisconsin.
Woods fails the security questions.
Banker calls the listed number.
Kieran's answers, calm as can be.
And he's like, nobody in California should be able to touch my accounts.
He faxes over his forged documents, social security card, driver's license, birth certificate, all in the name of William Woods.
Then he goes further.
He calls the police and he says, I want you to get this guy and prosecute him for stealing my identity.
Remember, he's the guy who stole the identity from the hot dog guy already back in the 80s.
Now he's saying, I want you to throw him in jail.
So authorities arrest the real William Woods and they charge him with identity theft and false impersonation.
And Woods is like, No, my name is William Woods.
No one believes him because he's been a drifter his whole life.
Then the courts do something incredible because he's so.
I mean, could you imagine being this?
This is like an Alfred Hitchcock movie.
You're just like, wait a minute, wait, what?
This is North by Northwest.
No, that's not me.
He's so excited about this in court.
Court deems him mentally incompetent.
So now he's sent to a mental hospital and he's force fed drugs.
He is in jail for 428 days.
And 147 days institutionalized force fed drugs.
He's finally released, and the court orders him to use only his true name, which is Matthew Kieran's, which isn't his true name.
The real Woods doesn't give up.
Would you?
I mean, I don't know what I would do.
Now it's 2023.
He contacts the hospital where William Woods works.
He hires a detective.
A really good detective gets the case.
DNA evidence seals it.
So in July 2023, confronted with the proof, Kieran's, the real Kieran's, the fake Woods, admits.
For decades, I've been living as this guy.
I've been forging documents and lying to law enforcement.
Kieran pleads guilty to making false statements to a federally insured credit union, aggregated identity theft.
The judge looks past the guidelines and recommends around 12 to 18 months plus a mandatory 24.
Is that all you would get?
12 to 18 months plus.
Two more years?
Judge said this is unusual and egregious.
Kieran didn't just steal an identity.
He weaponized the justice system to imprison and medicate an innocent man.
He didn't show any remorse, no direct apology to the victim.
The judge varies and says, you know what?
I'm not going by the guidelines.
144 months.
That's 12 years in federal prison, plus fines, restitution, supervised release, mental health, and substance abuse evaluations.
Well, Kieran's, the fake Woods, he's like, that's crazy.
I mean, I've only destroyed this guy's life since 1980.
You're going to put me in jail for 12 years?
That's too harsh.
Well, apparently not.
April 23rd, 2026.
That was yesterday.
Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals shuts it down.
Unanimous opinion.
The judge and the court affirms every part of the sentence.
Judge, he said, had wide discretion.
Yep.
The harm was extraordinary.
Conditions were reasonable, given a lifetime of deceit and no remorse.
So he begins paying for the life that he stole.
The real William Woods finally has his name back.
The scars remain.
Can you imagine?
A hot dog encounter that took place in the 1980s.
One of the most audacious identity thefts in American history.
Some lies, they just don't ruin a life, they erase lives.
Here's my warning.
Imagine what can now be done with AI.
Real World Redemption00:00:35
We are entering a brave and frightening new world.
Warning.
Now go read some other truth that gets you white-pilled again.
I know, I know.
I'm not helping myself, but you got to put good stuff into your head as well because you got to hear the truth, live in the real world, but don't become that.
Don't go down the dark roads.
You have to know about it, but there is real hope as well.
