Glenn Beck, Peter Schweizer, and Harmeet Dhillon dissect Trump's strategic dismantling of the Wilsonian order via tariffs and Greenland interests, while Schweizer details "weaponized immigration" tactics allegedly orchestrated by Castro and Sheinbaum with Soros funding. Dhillon joins to confirm federal investigations into Minnesota church protests under the FACE Act, criticizing local officials for inaction amidst threats to law enforcement. Collectively, these segments argue that American sovereignty faces a coordinated assault from global elites and domestic actors, necessitating a reevaluation of post-war alliances and legal enforcement. Great podcast tying a lot of things together so you can understand your world a little better.
What is Trump preparing for on the world stage?
What does it mean?
This Greenland stuff, what's going on with Canada and Germany and Europe?
Why is he doing this?
What is he actually saying?
And forget about, forget about what everybody says, even maybe you say about Donald Trump, good or bad.
Let's look at the actions.
What does it tell us?
Also, Peter Sweiser joins to discuss his new book and what is going on with Mexico.
This is mind-blowing.
You really want to understand how much trouble we are in this hemisphere.
Listen to this.
And Harmeet Dillon joins me to discuss invoking the FACE Act on the protesters in Minnesota this weekend, including what she said about Don Lemon.
You don't want to miss a second of this podcast.
Let me talk to you about Pre-Born.
When a woman faces an unplanned pregnancy, she's not just facing a decision.
She's facing fear, fear of judgment, fear of future responsibility, fear of being alone, because too often she's facing all of it alone.
Nobody in her life supports her.
That's where Pre-Born steps in.
They step into that moment with compassion.
They provide free ultrasounds to allow a mom to see her baby for the very first time, hear that beating heartbeat and moving life.
It's a moment that changes everything.
You know, eight out of 10 times, when a mom sees her child, everything shifts dramatically and lives are saved.
But pre-born doesn't just do that.
It's not a single moment or a single appointment.
They connect moms with counseling, resources, support, giving them real options and hope for up to two years after the birth of their baby.
So they stay with the women through the journey.
They're not alone.
This is saving two lives.
Would you like to help?
You can provide an ultrasound.
It's $28 for an ultrasound.
You could save a baby's life and a mom's life.
That baby might grow up to change the world.

And thanks for standing with us.
Now let's get to work.
You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck program.
So I'm watching all of this stuff unfold over the weekend.
Gosh, with Canada.
I can't wait to get into that with John, with Mark Carney and what Mark Carney is doing up in Canada, cozying up with China in a big way.
This is not going to go well.
You know, the Iran news, Iran, somebody hacked into all of the television stations yesterday and the crown prince spoke for the first time to the Persian and Iranian people.
And it was amazing.
We'll get into that.
Minnesota is absolutely on fire.
And then I'm seeing this stuff about Greenland and, you know, the German chancellor saying, we might hold back some athletes coming to World Cup.
And you're like, oh, really?
That's okay.
Because Trump is now putting a 10% tariff on everybody in NATO.
And people are saying, and this is logical.
Wait a minute.
Those are our allies.
Listen.
Listen.
Listen, I think I understand what he's doing, and it is exactly what we have been begging someone to do.
It's just happening at such a rapid pace, you can't get your arms around it.
So let me go through what I think is happening.
Because I heard people say, Donald Trump, is he trying to get us into a war?
Is he crazy?
Is he just arrogant?
The question is not whether his language offends our allies or unsettles markets or whether he's just arrogant or whatever.
The question is, whether you like him or not, the question is this.
What does a man do when he believes the world order is already collapsing and no one else is willing to admit it and no one is standing up for his country?
Because if you strip away all of the insults, all of the bluster, all of the tweets, you're not left with chaos.
You're left with a pattern.
And that's what I do best.
I see patterns and I follow patterns.
So hear me out on this.
What if tariffs are not really about taxes or trade?
What happens if peace deals aren't actually about peace?
Pressure on Iran, Venezuela, the Middle East, and even Greenland.
What happens if that's not what you think it is?
Because they're not disconnected.
They are moves on a board most leaders refuse to acknowledge even still exists because the board was taken away by Woodrow Wilson.
Oh, God, I can't believe I get to talk about Woodrow Wilson again.
Not too much.
Trump is not trying to manage the post-World War II order.
He's trying to kill it before it kills us.
Now, listen, hear me out.
Clear your mind of everything you think and just hear this and let it settle just in an empty room for a second before you start putting all the other thoughts that you have in it.
Just hear it out.
He believes, rightly or wrongly, that the American system built by Woodrow Wilson and then again after 1945 with Bretton Woods has been captured.
It was hollowed out and it was used and turned against the United States, the nation that created it.
So globalization, which was supposed to spread prosperity, concentrates power.
The institutions it created no longer stabilize.
All they do is delay collapse because they're not looking forward anymore.
And that if you wait politely while the debt explodes, while supply chains fracture, while rivals prepare, that's the important one, while rivals prepare, that's not wisdom, that's suicide.
So when you think this is overwhelming, what is he doing?
Think of this.
If you, everything that you've learned since 2008 about the Tides Foundation and about Soros and about the DSA and all of the things you've learned about, that's taken us 25 years to learn about.
If we would have seen them do this in 12 months, how overwhelming would it feel?
Right?
It would seem like it was chaos.
Like, what the hell is happening?
Right?
Well, we've watched the global elites prepare while we've done nothing.
We have watched over the past, I mean, 25 years for sure, but it's been going on longer than this.
We have watched Davos, the World Economic Forum, the UN, China, Russia, even the Saudis four years ago, three years ago, were saying we're going towards China.
They have all made moves slowly over 20 years to put America in this box.
The left made their moves over the last 40 years as well with the schools, the Tides Foundation, the Muslim Brotherhood, CARE, DSA.
Do you know that the Democratic Socialists of America are training a thousand citizens for resistance in New York right now?
You know our treasuries have been drained through corruption for the NGOs.
We know that now.
Meanwhile, what have we been doing?
We've been saying somebody's got to do something to stop it.
That's why everybody's so focused on the DOJ.
And I'm going to get to the DOJ especially tomorrow, but I'm going to get to the DOJ in a minute.
Trump has done 20 years of work in one year.
I don't think any president has done more, like it or not, I don't think any president has done more in one month, or in 12 months, one year than Donald Trump.
And you may not like it, but you need to understand it.
Because you know and I know we are looking at the possible end of America and the Western civilization, right?
Isn't that what we're all fighting for?
I was fighting for my country, but I believe Western civilization is at stake.
And he is mobilizing all of the resources that he has to prepare for that.
So when that big battle comes, when that thing breaks, we don't go the way of the great reset.
Remember, that's what the great reset is.
The great reset was to overwhelm the system, to destroy our borders, to get people out on the streets and everything else and put all of this framework in so when it did collapse, it would fall into that framework of the WEF.
That's exactly what Donald Trump is doing.
But I also believe he sees war coming on the horizon.
So let me go back to tariffs.
Tariffs in his mind, I don't believe are economic policy.
They're stress tests.
Who folds when access to the American markets is threatened?
Look at who retaliates.
Look at what's happening with Canada.
Is Canada our friend?
He puts a stress test out and they fold and run to the Chinese.
They've exposed themselves.
They think that he's so authoritarian that they'll run to the Chinese.
So he has exposed the leadership of Canada as not being people who are really in for freedom because they will run to the Chinese.
The stress test of the tariffs, who cannot survive without us.
Look at peace deals in a totally different way.
Let's just say the peace deals are not necessarily about harmony.
They're about freeing bandwidth.
Hear me out on this.
It's about putting out small fires before the larger ones ignite.
Look at.
What was the first thing he did when he got in?
He made peace in the Middle East.
Can I ask you, what has been our biggest distraction over the last 40 years?
It's been the Middle East, right?
We're always being dragged into war into the Middle East.
Somehow or another, we're always over there.
He knows if we're going to be a strong country, we cannot be in the Middle East.
So he makes peace in the Middle East and he brokers it in such a deal where it's not, they're not coming to us.
They now all have a peace in that deal.
And so they're now responsible for it, not the United States.
We're not the big boy saying, hey, get back to the table.
They're at the table and they have to hold it together so we can focus on other things.
Iran, Venezuela, Greenland, these are not crazy obsessions with him.
They are nodes.
They're nodes of energy.
They're nodes of minerals.
They're nodes of currency dominance.
They are nodes of missile warning, Arctic control.
You know, when you look at Greenland, try this out for size.
Everybody's, imagine just changing this way of thinking.
Global warming, global warming, global warming.
The poles are melting.
If the poles are melting, you have a couple of ways to go.
We got to stop the poles from melting.
Quick, everybody ship air conditioners up to the polar bears.
Okay.
We got to stop making things because we got to stay.
We've got to save the polar bears.
Okay.
That's one way of thinking it.
Another way is saying, wait a minute, if the poles do melt, the whole world is going to reshape.
And that makes the Arctic shipping lanes.
Shipping lanes.
That's the Middle East only colder.
He sees the future.
And unlike the polite architects of multilateral management, thank you, Woodrow Wilson, he doesn't trust committees to secure the choke points in a world of scarcity.
That's what we're headed for, a world of scarcity.
When you are a world that is collapsed on its own weight, because I've told you everyone is collapsing.
This has never happened in world history.
Everyone has abused their currency.
So everyone is collapsing at once.
So what does that mean?
That means even if there's no war, the shipping breaks down, the supply systems break down, and you have to be self-contained.
So what did he do over in Europe?
The first thing he said was, you guys have to take care of yourself.
And you have to stand up in your own country for your country.
Don't depend on this globalism.
It's not real.
It's not going to happen.
Now, his worldview, I started looking at this up.
It's not new.
In fact, I mean, you can find it all the way back to the Greeks.
But in America, if you look, this is more Hamilton, not Jefferson, more Hamilton and George Washington.
Let me explain a couple of things.
Washington and Hamilton, both of them believed, I mean, Washington used to say in his farewell address, and it was ignored for the last century, he said, alliances, don't get yourself in complicated long-term alliances.
Washington, Hamilton, and Real Alliances00:02:20
Alliances are temporary.
We have all of these long-term alliances like NATO, and we're like, what the hell are we even in NATO for?
What do they do for us now?
It was important back then, but is it important today?
That's Washington.
Washington saying they are temporary.
Use them, but be friends to everyone.
But things are going to change.
So that's what he's testing.
He's testing now who is really an ally and who's not.
Also, trade has to serve national strength.
That's Washington and Hamilton.
Debt is dangerous, especially if it's external.
And industry has to be protected.
Lincoln, McKinley, the American system of production before protection became a dirty word, before Woodrow Wilson.
This is the belief that sovereignty precedes morality, that nations survive by strength, not speeches, that systems decay whether we acknowledge it or not.

The best of the Glenn Beck program.
Peter Schweiser, welcome to the program.
I have heard, read many of your books.
We've had you on for all of them.
I think, Peter, this is the most important book you have written yet.
Well, thank you, Glenn.
Weaponized Immigration Agenda00:15:37
We have worked together for a long time.
That means a lot to me.
Thank you.
It's one of those issues that we've talked a lot about in general, which is immigration.
But the book is really about weaponized immigration.
And, you know, it's important.
We've had the conversations about how immigration affects the economy, how it affects our culture.
But when we realize this is actually something that's being wielded against us by countries like China, but also Mexico with a real agenda behind it, an agenda, by the way, that I quote them as explaining in the book.
I think it puts the immigration debate in a whole different level.
I have to tell you, I learned more in the first two chapters about Mexico that horrified me.
Because I've always felt good about Mexico.
You know, they have problems with the drugs, and I felt bad for, uh-uh.
They are not, they're not doing us any favors at all.
And we'll get into that here in a second.
Can we start with chapter one?
And if you don't mind, Peter, I may have to ask you to come over and join me tomorrow as well, because I don't know if we're going to get past the first two chapters.
There's so much meat in here.
Sure.
In chapter one is proof of concept.
And it starts with Jimmy Carter and Fidel Castro.
And I don't recall any of this.
Can you take us through that?
Yeah, this is back in 1980, the Mario boat lift.
And a lot of people that were around will remember that the United States was flooded with Cuban refugees.
And Jimmy Carter, when this first started developing, said, you know, we're a compassionate country, which is true.
We're going to welcome them with open arms.
And Fidel Castro told his top aides, well, we're going to fill their arms with excrement.
He used a different word.
And this was really the first modern example of weaponized immigration, because what Fidel Castro recognized was we can actually attack the United States by sending them criminals, people that are mentally ill, but also people that are going to set up criminal networks, drug networks inside the United States.
And so what we thought was a sort of random humanitarian event was actually a targeted attack.
And I quote from a government panel that later looked at the Mario Boatlift and concluded that it was probably the third most lethal foreign attack on the United States.
Besides Pearl Harbor and 9-11, the Mario Boatlift was probably the third most lethal attack.
And the thing that's so genius about what Castro did is, you know, Pearl Harbor in 9-11, you attack us, what happens?
We strike you back harder than you hit us.
That's the American way.
If it's a humanitarian attack through immigration, who do you attack?
Who do you launch the military against?
So it's genius.
And this became a template for a lot of modern Latin American leaders.
In the summer of 1980, when this was unfolding, Fidel Castro goes to Nicaragua to meet with Sandinista leaders.
And there's a young revolutionary there named Lula, who later today is the president of Brazil.
And he sets up an entity called the Sao Paulo Forum with Fidel Castro, which includes progressive leaders from across Latin America and in the United States, the Democratic Socialists of America, which is Bernie Sanders and AOC's group.
And the Sao Paulo Forum has weaponized immigration against us today.
And that includes the Morena Party of Mexico and Petro, the leader of Colombia, and a whole host of other countries who have adopted this as their strategy to defeat the United States.
Okay, so lay that out more carefully so people understand you're not just making that statement.
This is a very well-organized, well-financed and well-executed plan that is out in the open.
Just none of us have ever seen it or heard of it.
Yeah, yeah.
And look, again, this is not Peter Schweitzer asserting this.
I mean, there are quotes throughout the book from leaders explaining what's going on.
You mentioned Mexico, and I always thought of Mexico in the context of, okay, you've got kind of this hapless government and it's corrupt and they're kind of glad for mass migration because now they don't have to feed their own people.
The reality is, in their own words, they view immigration very differently.
Go ahead, this is from a government report.
This is a report written by one of President Schebaum's top aides in December of 2024.
It says, Scheinbaum, in case you don't know, is the president of Mexico.
This is 2024, president of Mexico.
Go ahead.
Yeah, we already know that the Mexican population in the United States reaches 39.9 million.
We Mexicans are reclaiming our territory.
That's from December of 2024.
Here's a powerful senator who's also a member of the Marina Party, who sits on the National Defense Committee, which is the most powerful committee in the Mexican Senate.
Quote, we Mexicans are in our territories, California, Nevada, Texas, Utah, New Mexico, Arizona, Kansas, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Wyoming.
We're going to take back the territory that was stolen from us.
And, you know, Go ahead, you hear these quotes and you think, okay, well, maybe this is just bravado.
But as I point out in the book, they have actually created a network and infrastructure inside the United States.
And this infrastructure, this includes Mexican government officials inside the United States who are organizing violent protests, like those that hit Los Angeles, those that are in Minneapolis, and they are actively participating in our politics.
They are working to elect Democrats who are sympathetic, a foreign government to elect Democrats who are sympathetic to them on immigration and working to defeat President Trump through Mexican consulates that are across the United States.
Peter, I have to ask you a question.
When I first started talking about George Soros, I just thought I had discovered something new, and I hadn't.
There were very few people that were dumb enough to take him on.
I didn't know the rules.
You don't take on George Soros.
You know what I mean?
So I exposed all this stuff because I thought it was new.
This is so, it is so clear.
Your sources are so clear.
The names of everyone who says it, who's on the committees, who's using the money, who's here in America, who's overseas, all of it is so clear and clearly laid out.
Why don't we know about any of this until now?
Why did it take you to come out and put this all together?
Well, a great, great question, Glenn.
And you're right.
I mean, you were really one of the first people to publicly take on Soros.
And God bless you for doing that.
I think it's a couple of things.
I think, first of all, Mexico has a reputation for being kind of a sleepy, corrupt government, and people don't take them seriously.
I think we should.
Mexico, think about this for a second, Glenn.
Mexico has 53 consulates in the United States.
53.
In contrast, the two other countries with the most are China and the United Kingdom with six and seven.
So they have this vast network in the United States.
And I think that they have masked what they're doing quite effectively.
People that are aware of it that are, you know, some of these NGOs, you mentioned Soros, their NGOs funded by Bill Gates and others, who talk about the fact that for them, and again, these are their words, for them, immigration is about transforming the United States.
This is a quote from 2023 that I think lays out the fact that they want this to be silenced.
Again, this is from 2023.
The head of the Mexican news agency, which is like their sort of associated press, he says, quote, we are quietly carrying out the reconquest of our territories in the U.S. taken from us in 1848.
The reconquest of the Aztec territory is silent.
And the day that the gringos realize this, their diabolical fundamentalism will become macabre.
In other words, we need to keep this quiet.
We don't want to talk about it publicly because when the gringos, as he says, find out, they're going to be really, really angry about it.
So we need to recognize what's going on, have an honest conversation about it.
There are dozens of these quotes in the book from Mexican officials, and we go through and name the Mexican government officials who were at the center of the LA riots last year, who are manipulating our politics.
Okay, so I want you to go through.
I mean, I cannot urge you.
This is, and you know me, I will talk highly about books that I really like and I think are important.
This book is probably the most important book you can read.
I think in the last five or six years, there is so much information here.
I think this, I mean, this is a nation's work, honestly.
This, I hope, is with the president and his people and at the DOJ, if they were useful at all.
But this is the most important book you can read.
It's called The Invisible Coup by Peter Schweiser.
Peter has been on, if you know, if you've been listening to me for a long time, he is a friend.
He has been on the program over and over again.
He's done a lot of great stuff.
This is the most important book.
You want to understand what we're really up against and who our enemies really are.
Enough of this Mamby Pambi.
Oh, well, we just have to be nice to the rest of the world.
No, we will be nice to the rest of the world if they're not trying to destroy us.
And I want Peter to come back and take us through a lot of these statements from, you know, like he just did with Shinebum, from the government of Mexico, high-ranking officials that are in charge, the media as well, and also all the NGOs.
Who is funding it?
What are they doing?
You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck podcast.

Before we put our next guest on, I leave her off for a second because I don't want to put her in a situation where she has to comment on anything.
But you know how I feel about the Justice Department.
I feel like it hasn't been doing its job, but there is one person there who is really kicking ass, and it is Harmeet Dillon.
She is the Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights, and her division is moving rapidly.
And yesterday we saw in Minnesota these protesters come into a church.
This is a clear violation of the FACE Act.
This is what the FACE Act was made for.
And so I wanted to talk to Harmeet because she was on the phone yesterday.
She was working on this all day yesterday, and I just want to hear where we are on it.
Harmeet, welcome to the program.
How are you?
I'm great.
Thanks for having me, Glenn.
You bet.
Listen, let's start with the FACE Act.
What happened yesterday, they say this is because I guess the pastor is also somebody that works with ICE or something.
Is that true?
I don't know if that's true or not, but the pastor you saw on television calmly dealing with Don Lemon and his face is not.
I mean, he's the lead pastor, and allegedly there's another pastor there who wasn't there on the scene yesterday.
I don't know anything about that.
We're investigating all of that.
But let me say I was actually, you know, it's kind of a holiday weekend.
I was on a plane back from giving a speech in Florida when the attorney general reached out to me and alerted me to this situation.
So she's actually been engaged with this from the beginning.
And I immediately activated prosecutors and FBI agents to go to the scene and start investigating both the FACE Act as well as related criminal offenses that could include conspiracy charges, material support, and many others.
So we don't want to prejudge, but I think it is fair to say that I saw multiple federal criminal incidents yesterday, and there will be charges.
It's only a question of when can we get a judge to sign off on arrest warrants and exactly what the charges will be.
And those judges have to be in Minnesota, don't they?
They have to be federal judges in Minnesota, and I have to go in front of them, so I'm not going to say what is on my mind sometimes.
But let's just say that this isn't Texas, and we aren't getting exactly rapid fire support for charges there on the pace we would love.
And people need to understand that, that there could have been arrests yesterday if Keith Ellison, the Attorney General of Minnesota, enforced his own laws and Mary Moriarty, the district attorney of Hennepin County, enforced her own laws.
Instead, we see Keith Ellison being interviewed by Don Lemon yesterday, expressing his support for the victims of ICE.
So we know exactly nothing is going to happen over there.
So you have to understand the federal government has to jump through some additional hurdles.
It isn't our job to enforce state law.
And we're stepping in to do this here when the state refuses to enforce its own laws.
So I don't know if you have an opinion on this, but looking back at the Shays Rebellion, at the beginning of our country, the laws in, where was it, New Hampshire?
I can't remember where it was.
But the courts were not working.
And they were being obstructed by people on the streets.
But you couldn't get anything through the courts and the system just broke down.
And while it's not just the people on the streets, the court has been hijacked.
They are not following through on the law.
The same with the district attorney, the attorney general, the governor.
So is this a case for the Insurrection Act?
Well, I think I agree with the premise that law enforcement and law and order have broken down in Minnesota.
I mean, I'm personally suing the state over their breakdown of their voting rights laws.
I'm also investigating Mary Moriarty for systematic violations of racial discrimination and her reagreements.
I'm probably now, given the inaction by local law enforcement on some other fronts, going to open up another investigation into the failures of the local police there to do their job or do it only selectively on the basis of race or politics.
And so it is a breakdown.
But I mean, in terms of the Insurrection Act, I'm not an expert on that.
I just think that you are seeing multiple incidents of violence.
And I do think that the attack on the church yesterday, thank God for the pastor who was so calm and the godly people inside that building.
Federal Law Enforcement Under Fire00:09:51
It could very well have tipped into violence very quickly.
And that would have been regrettable.
But what are people supposed to do when the last place you should, the place of sanctuary, the house of God, was invaded by these thugs.
And so I think that certainly some more law enforcement, whoever's doing it, would be most welcome in Minnesota.
It was disturbing to see them come into the church and very frightening, quite honestly.
And I just think Don Lemon is just one of the most irrelevant human beings on the planet.
And, you know, I would like to say, you know, I think of him as an irrelevant guy, but I actually don't ever think of him.
So it's even more irrelevant than that.
But I'm not sure if he was in violation unless he was part of it.
I mean, you wouldn't, do you go after the journalist that's reporting it or do you view him as something that was not just reporting it?
Okay, well, I'm going to reserve comment on that specific fact pattern, but let's just take a hypothetical, okay?
A hypothetical where a podcaster, once a news anchor, is deciding that he's learning of a crime in progress.
It's a bank robbery, okay?
And he's friends with the bank robbers and he sympathizes with them because he agrees with what they're going to spend the money on.
So the bank robbers call him because they'd like some PR because they think what they're doing is great, whatever.
And you decide to go along and you know that the group of people you're with are breaking into a building and they're going to commit a crime inside and then you're going to stream it inside.
That fact pattern is much more dubious than how you put it.
And so I think, you know, we're investigating our facts.
Mr. Lemon has put several hours of video on the internet yesterday saying a variety of things.
And I would, you know, if I were his lawyer, I would probably say, you know, that, you know, maybe you should lawyer up before you do things like this.
But yeah, I think.
I have to tell you, I just have to make it aside here.
For anybody who doesn't know who Harmeet Dylan really is, that would have put the fear of God in me.
If I were Don Lemon and I heard Harmeet Dylan say that, I'd be like, holy cow, I'm going to prison because she does not mess around.
But it's good.
You know, he did see some of my tweets and he responded to them yesterday in a video, mispronouncing my name and laughing and saying this is the First Amendment people.
Look, the face, I have actually litigated this.
I've represented, as you know, Glenn, a number of conservative journalists over the years, including pro-life journalists.
I will say as an aside, Kamala Harris had no problem prosecuting a pro-life journalist, David DeLeiden, for exposing Planned Parenthood's fetal part trafficking.
The United States Department of Justice under Merritt Garland had no problem prosecuting multiple January 6th protesters who had their cameras out and were filming and claimed journalistic privileges.
Exactly.
I don't want to become them, but I do think he doesn't understand the First Amendment.
Yeah.
He doesn't understand the First Amendment.
He has videos out there literally saying, you know, F ICE and F all the way off.
So there is no pretense of objectivity or what have you.
But look, facts matter, and we're going to take a look at the exact facts there.
But gosh, he keeps talking and adding to the record.
And one of the organizers of this event, who he was outside kissing and bringing coffee to, is a lawyer, an NAACP lawyer, a Black Lives Matter nonprofit lawyer.
So, you know, the lawyer should have known better.
You just cannot, a privately owned house of worship, house of God, is not a public forum for protest in the United States.
It just isn't.
It's actually a violation of Minnesota law to do exactly what these thugs did.
And so, you know, we are just all over it.
There may be charges coming in different stages, but charges are coming.
Tell me about the investigation into Tim Walson, Jacob Fry, email sent out on Friday to all Minneapolis employees implying that they are working with protesters within the city to help them track ICE operations.
Tell me about this investigation.
I only know it secondhand because my office is not the folks in charge of that.
That's the criminal division.
I believe Todd Blanche has commented about that publicly.
But it is not legal to conspire to evade federal law, federal law enforcement, or obstruct it.
I will just leave it at that.
The governor saying he's going to put National Guard into yellow vests.
Does that not indicate that you know violence is coming to ICE and you want to make sure that people know that these guys are on your side, so don't hit the guys in yellow?
I mean, violence is there.
Violence is in the city.
I mean, ICE is being obstructed in the state from arresting sex offenders, child sex offenders.
These people are absolutely wink-wink-nudge-nudge, signaling to the resistance in Minnesota that there's an us versus them mentality, and it is okay to be against the police and against law enforcement, federal law enforcement, and get in their way and get up in their face.
And frankly, I think it is blood on their hands that people have already been injured and killed in Minnesota in this so-called struggle because people think this is a video game or something.
You know, it isn't a video game.
This is real.
And when you threaten a law enforcement official, the test is an objective one.
Did the law enforcement official reasonably fear for their lives given all the circumstances?
And all the circumstances right now are that state officials in Minnesota are effectively putting a target on the backs of federal law enforcement with their rhetoric, with their actions, and people are getting hurt.
Harmee, I did a monologue, I think, last week and just went over the positions of power that had to have known or turned a blind eye to all of the corruption.
And it is extensive.
This is not about putting Somalis in jail.
I mean, it is an extensive list to make that happen.
Are you familiar with anything, how that investigation is going?
Are we going to see anybody held responsible for that?
Because there's a lot that need to be held responsible.
No, I agree.
But listen, let's talk about the timeline here.
This DOJ has continued a number of investigations and secured 62 prosecutions so far, convictions, I should say.
There are other ongoing prosecutions going up.
And what you do typically in federal law enforcement, even state law enforcement, is you get the lower level criminals and then you go up the food chain.
So when there's plea agreements with these people, they have a requirement typically to cooperate with federal law enforcement.
And I can assure you that you're just seeing the tip of the iceberg.
So the rhetoric out there from my allies who are like, oh, nothing has happened.
There'll be no arrests, LOL.
That's not true or fair.
This DOJ has actually, first of all, sticking to the attacks on houses of worship.
We in the Civil Rights Division, under Pam Bonnie's leadership, have convicted numerous people for attacks on Christian houses of worship on beheading a statue of Mary and baby Jesus and thwarted several attacks.
And on the Minnesota fraud front, numerous convictions, numerous investigations.
Now we're dealing with this.
And it's a target-rich environment.
And we're dealing with, frankly, some judges on the bench who slow roll signing arrest warrants, who don't agree with the politics, and who don't, frankly, agree with federal law.
And so we have to then get wrong rulings and then go to the Court of Appeals and get those corrected.
It's just a process.
And I know people are impatient and they think, you know, they want to see arrests every day.
Keith Ellison and his team could have arrested people yesterday and they didn't.
And we all know they won't.
So we're stepping in to do it.
I literally flew two prosecutors from my office after talking with the Attorney General yesterday.
She's 100% behind this.
We spoke to the pastor yesterday.
We praised him for his calm.
We gave him some reassurances and his congregation asked them if they needed any support.
They're victims of a crime.
They're victims of several crimes.
And we will not let this happen to another church in the United States.
It is un-American, unacceptable, and there is a zero tolerance policy for it at this DOJ.
Harmee, as always, thank you very much.
Harmeet Dylan, she is the DOJ's Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights.
Her division is kicking ass and taking names.
Harmeet Dylan.
Don, you should probably learn who she is before you make fun of her because it could go dicey.
