Justin Barkley and Julie Kelly dissect the Sebastian Zapata subway arson, linking it to Biden's mass commutations and New York's sanctuary policies, while exposing alleged witness tampering in January 6 cases involving Liz Cheney. The discussion covers dismissed federal indictments against Trump, Rand Paul's exposé on government waste, and Pastor Lorenzo Sewell's claims of divine intervention in politics. Ultimately, the episode contrasts these national crises with the biblical narrative of Jesus' birth, concluding that God remains sovereign over both history and current events. Welcome to the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment.
This is the Glenn Beck program.
It's illegal ignition, the immigrant now, the alien charged with murder in the horrific death, the killing of the woman on the subway in New York City.
Same day, Kathy Hope, well, Governor, there says, no, no, no, it's everything's fine.
The subway is safe.
Bystanders looking on, some recording with cell phones and police walking past as if it's just any other day on the subway.
And it's all caught on tape.
We'll talk about this story in the latest development.
Yeah.
The one the media wants to hide from you the most, his status and his history.
All coming up, Justin Barkley in for Glenn today.

In fact, I can prove it.
How can I, we have the reports or the lack thereof from yesterday.
This story.
It's not exactly a Christmas miracle, though, but I do have good news today.
I promise you, we're not going to only talk about the horrific state, the way things are.
And by the way, we should be helpful on Christmas Eve of all days.
As dark as the world is, the promise of light, the promise of love, the promise hope.
Help is on the way.
It's never been more necessary and more obvious, maybe than today, in so many different ways.
So we're going to do all of this today.
We've got lots to discuss, some very special moments and guests that I think you're going to enjoy hearing from too.
As I mentioned, a lot of good things to talk about today, but we have to talk about this story.
And it may be one of the most important because it's being ignored.
So welcome in.
Justin Barkley filling in for Glenn today.
It's always an honor, always a privilege being able to be here with you and Glenn's audience, especially this time of year.
I absolutely look forward to it.
One of the things that I've remarked on recently is that when I get to fill in for Glenn, you know, these are normally times that most folks have taken off traditionally in the swamp in D.C.
And of course, even in the media, you'll get lots of different stories that are, you know, what's the word of the year next week.
We'll hear the word of the year and all the great things.
Looking back, you know, all of that stuff on what happened this year and, you know, Times Got to Person of the Year, all of that.
All of that stuff that's in the year sort of filler.
It's really what they put out so that they have content and things to run near the end of the year.
So we usually, in years gone by, had lighter years.
Not so.
The stream at which we are drinking from these days does not stop.
It is like drinking from a fire hose.
And we continue to give you the updates because the news won't stop.
We won't either.
And that's part of what we witnessed just yesterday, a horrific story.
Probably the first to tell you about.
The murder of this innocent woman, and there's still not a lot of details about who it was that was killed, burned to death on the subway train in New York City.
The tragic murder.
We now know more about who is accused of committing the crime.
The illegal immigrant.
The alien tossed a match or a lighter or something on this woman, at least the reports were saying early.
Tossed something onto this woman who appeared to be sleeping at the time on the subway train.
And from everything I've gathered, this train was stopped, and I don't know if they were working on something, if there was an issue or what, but there was someone sleeping on the train.
Lots of people there apparently on this train, waiting around, waiting for it to get going, whatever they were doing, technical issues or whatever it might be.
That's when this migrant, the alien, illegally here in the country we now know from Guatemala, just decided to ignite this individual.
For what reason, we still don't know.
There are videos floating around purporting to be this individual at some point, ranting on some sort of cell phone video that went up on social media somewhere that shows this individual very drunk, talking about being drunk.
Could have been a blacked out moment.
Crime, I don't have to tell you in New York City and on the subway is through the roof.
And I don't think it's any mistake that this story comes out the same day that Biden comes out pardoning killers, child killers.
Some of the most heinous acts and crimes he's let these folks, well, he commuted their sentences.
He didn't pardon them.
Let me correct that.
He commuted their sentences.
Might as well, for some of these families, the sake might as well have pardoned.
But he commuted the sentences so they will not get the death penalty.
What kind of signal does that send?
And a dying regime that is on its way out the door flailing, he said, it's, I can't, in good conscience, allow, as I've halted these executions, the next administration to come through and pick up where I left off.
Essentially, he said, I can't allow the next administration to actually come in and get any work done.
So these people have been spared.
What kind of signal does it send to all the people as we've got the border wide open?
The barn door's wide open.
You could come on in.
Matter of fact, we're going to put you up in the nicest hotels in New York City.
And when you do something absolutely heinous, something absolutely horrific, we'll look the other way.
That's essentially the signal he sent.
And that's what's happened here.
Sebastian Zapeda, 33, has been charged with first and second degree murder here, according to the reports, as well as first degree arson.
Now, here's the history.
He was arrested by Border Patrol June 1st, 2018, after illegally crossing into Arizona.
He was deported.
Listen to this very carefully.
He was deported by the Trump administration.
This is why this story is never going to see the light of day.
Tom Holman has promised, along with President Trump, mass deportations on day one.
They will not give this story the light of day because it will give Trump again the mandate that he is required.
In fact, he's already been given to go through with those mass deportations, Holman and the rest of the folks, saying they're going to start with people just like this before they do something like this.
What do you do to somebody like this?
Is it enough to say we're going to lock them up and throw away the key?
Or do you have to take one or two of these folks and do you have to have a public execution to show people that we mean business?
The murder of Lake and Riley.
The two animals who were accused of killing Jocelyn Raping, Jocelyn Dungery.
These horrific stories.
There's one after the others.
One of my very own backyard, where I'm at in Michigan, Ruby Garcia was killed in cold blood.
She was shot in her car.
Thrown her body, thrown out on a highway, left for dead.
What do you do with these people?
Right now, they just let anybody and everybody get away with anything and everything.
It's absolute chaos.
And in fact, we talked about this yesterday.
It's so bad you have to ask yourself, is this incompetence or is it intentional?
And I would say, I don't know which one's worse, first of all.
Second of all, I would say at this point, I think the answer's becoming obvious.
But this man was, he was deported under the Trump administration and somehow, some way, finally found his way back into the country, ultimately ending up in the death of this individual who we still don't know much about.
And I don't know when we'll get that information because the body is.
Well, I won't say any more about that.
I have seen the video, and I will tell you, if you have not, please don't go looking for it.
There is so much happening in the video.
It's so horrific that it actually jars the conscience that people would look at it and say, how can someone stand around and just watch this?
I'll briefly describe some of the things that are happening.
I'll try not to go into too much detail, but in the video, you see the doors of a subway car open, and there's a glow of a fire coming out from those doors of the subway car.
Someone filming this on their cell phone.
You see the suspect sitting on a bench in front of the subway, gazing at the fire and the blaze he's just created like it's a Yule log.
If there was ever any doubt what we are up against, let there be none now.
There is evil.
Evil in this world.
And we wrestle not against flesh and blood.
What we're facing is a spiritual.
I don't care who you are.
I don't care what you believe in.
At this point, how is there any denying when a human being can do this to another human being?
That's one thing.
Well, he's a little off.
You know, the guy, something wrong.
You know, that's bound to happen.
You know, every now and then you got people that are broken.
And that's just, well, what about the people that are standing by watching it, who refuse to help, who refuse to step in, who refuse to stand in?
What about the person filming it?
And in this video, it's hard to even comprehend this.
It's hard to imagine, but there is a New York police officer that walks past the subway train.
Seen in the video like it's another day in the Big Apple.
How do you wrap your head around any of this?
And I don't want to go into any more detail, and I'm going to tell you, please don't go because I believe when you see things like this, I think it takes a piece of your soul.
You do need to know about it.
It's a tough line, we walk, because it's a story.
I don't think you should stick your head in the sand.
You do need to know about it.
You need to know what's happening so you can be aware.
You need to know what's happening so that you can be able to speak up, to stand out, and of course, defend yourself and your family in any situation, a situation like this, and know what to maybe expect of what could be coming.
But listen, more than anything else, you need to know so that when President Trump, by the way, here is the good news.
The Calvary is coming.
Calvary Is Coming00:15:30
You made this possible.
When President Trump lays his hand on the Bible, January 20th, all of this, all of it comes to a screeching halt.
And that's the hope that's on the way.
More on that in a second.
Plus, I want to give you the details about why the news isn't touching it and the evidence of that.
In fact, the key details that are leaving.
You can imagine what those might be.
Plus, Tom Holman, president's new border star, speaking out.
You can imagine what he's got to say about all of this and more.
We'll be back.
Quick break.
Justin Barkley in for Glenn Back today.
This is the Glenback program.
If you're scrambling to think of a good present for your loved ones, give them what I gave my family last year, the peace of mind with a Burna less lethal launcher.
Or tree yourself with the Burna Launcher.
You can be confident that you and your family are prepared to defend against any potential threats.
Plus, it's easy to use and legal to use for anybody over 18.
The Burna Launcher, safe, effective defense solution equipped with powerful non-lethal deterrence, including tear gas and kinetic rounds, with a 60-foot range capable of stopping an attacker in their tracks.
And even if you have a firearm at home, start with less lethal because you don't want to deal with the legal or mental burden of using a firearm.
So why choose Burna?
Because protecting your loved ones should never be a compromise.
It's legal in all 50 states, requires no background checks or permits, and can be shipped directly to your door.
That's why Burna is trusted by over 500 government agencies, police departments, and private security firms.
This is your last chance to buy before the holiday.
Visit Amazon to make sure it's delivered on time.
That's B-Y-R-N-A.
Burn up.
Well, it's been essentially ignored by legacy media, mainstream media.
What do you call it?
The dinosaur folks, whatever you want to call it.
Essentially been ignored in large part by all of them.
In fact, from what we could tell, now, again, maybe somebody will be able to turn up a blip or something and say, no, no, I caught it here.
But from what we could tell, the only one that covered this was CBS, this horrific story of the woman burned alive on the subway in New York City by the illegal.
The man who was here deported under the Trump administration found his way back in.
The one that Biden and Majorkis and all the rest of them said, well, this is compassion.
Tell that to the woman's family.
This is the compassion of the Democrats.
This is the progressive leftist backwards compassion, where the actual perpetrator, the suspect, is the victim, you know, because of the systemic whatever you want to fill in the blank with capitalism, racism, whatever the ism might be.
That's what it is.
Essentially, it's, you know, obviously drivenness, this, this, poor, poor soul into the actions.
The actions aren't their own fault or response.
Billy, it's a system again.
So CBS News covers it.
They leave out one detail.
Now to a disturbing and deadly attack here in New York City.
Tonight, police say they have a suspect under arrest after a woman sleeping in a subway car was set on fire.
She later died.
CBS says Tammy Mutasa is in New York with details on what exactly happened.
Tammy.
Jerica, you know, this was a brutal attack on a woman who just appeared to be sleeping on a public train.
And police found that victim when they saw smoke during a routine patrol.
Horrifying moments inside an F train on the New York City subway.
Just before 7.30 this morning, NYPD investigators say a woman was set on fire and burned to death.
This detail, I just, I missed it previously, but I'm hearing it now thinking about this.
You mean this was, they found all of this because of a routine patrol?
Do you mean nobody called it in?
That's even wilder to me.
Police say as the train approached the last stop in Brooklyn, the suspect walked up to her, lit her on fire, and stayed on the scene watching her burn from the train platform.
After the NYPD released images of a person of interest, three young men called 911 when they saw the suspect on a different subway.
Police stopped the train and arrested the man.
There must be strong, swift consequences on this person, and I use that term lightly, who committed this brutal, brutal homicide.
I absolutely agree.
You've got to disincentivize evil.
You've got to disincentivize this horrific behavior.
Because if you don't, if you don't take a stand, this is just the tip of the iceberg.
This is just a preview of how bad it's going to be.
Now, the hope here is that we know that day one, Because you voted for it in massive numbers of Americans in ways we haven't seen in a long time came out and voted for this.
For President Trump, the mandate to take care of this clean house, and he's going to do that along with Tom Holman.
By the way, there's more, a little bit more of this report, about 30 seconds left, but you're not going to hear the most important piece.
And Jerry got the NYPD said cameras have been installed in every subway car.
Oh, they got cameras.
That ought to do it.
Get a camera.
There was somebody with a camera on their phone filming it all.
Standing by, not helping somebody who was in desperate dire need.
Who knows what could have been done?
It says somebody would have stepped in, but you know, they came after Daniel Penny, didn't they?
Came after him for doing the same thing.
You notice they did what they did not mention there.
They did not mention the status of this illegal alien.
They did not mention how he got back in after he was deported by Trump.
By the way, Trump, the new sheriff in town, back in charge.
And Tom Holman is speaking out against it.
This of Borders are.
You're going to hear what he has to say.
Day one is just days away, folks.
Hope is coming.

And of course, the Christmas Eve edition.
We got some special.
We got some really special stuff coming for you later on today.
So get ready for that.
It's Justin Barklay in for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck program.
By the way, you want to find me online and follow some of the stories I'm talking about.
I've shared them all over social media.
You can find me at Mr.Justin Barklay and at justinbarklay.com.
I put all these stories up in something called The Stack so you can see it every day after we've talked about things like this.
The New York Sibway murderer, completely ignored by all legacy media, CBS News, the only outlet to cover it, but guess what they left out?
And it's because of images from those cameras that led to this arrest.
This week, Governor Kathy Cochal announced an additional 250 National Guard members will be deployed in subway cars to make sure everyone is safe.
You might as well give them some fire extinguishers because they know they won't be armed, but you ought to give them some blankets, maybe?
Fire blankets?
Terry Mutasa reporting in New York City tonight thinks.
You know what?
CBS failed to report.
They failed to report the status of this individual.
They failed to tell you that he's here illegally, not supposed to be here.
He was deported under the Trump administration.
Was it Biden?
Is there the policies of Biden, Mayorkas, and the rest of them, who, by the way, bear responsibility for this mess?
I won't hold my breath for accountability.
But I will tell you, I know that the streets of New York City, the streets of Chicago, the streets of cities all across the country.
Matter of fact, the mayor of New York City, Eric Adams, is asking for help from the Trump administration.
Not so the mayor in Chicago.
Mayor in Chicago and one of the mayors there, and I believe the governor in Colorado, there's some real standoffs happening.
I think it's going to be a rude awakening for some of them.
As Holman says, that's Tom Holman, the borders are.
Chance to meet him.
I went to the State of the Union this year.
That was an experience.
I'll tell you that much.
Maybe I'll tell you a little bit more about that later on.
But the state of the Union, you get to meet all these great people in Holman.
One of the most interesting people that I got a chance to meet, this guy means business.
And do not mistake his sort of rough, gruff exterior.
Do not mistake his silent, the strength, really, the way that he comes off.
Don't mistake that for someone who's just mean or no.
What you're seeing there is true compassion.
When he breaks down to tell you why he cares so much about keeping these kids safe, about keeping folks in the country safe, you see where his heart is.
You see where he's really coming from.
So when you hear him respond to this latest situation, you know he means business.
There's a reason for it.
Well, look, this is not an example of an illegal alien killing an American citizen.
It's almost a daily occurrence now.
You know, because historic number of criminal aliens walk in the streets because of this administration's policy in sanctuary jurisdictions and lax immigration enforcement.
ICE has their hands tied.
Secretary Martorkis have given them priorities that they can't even go arrest an illegal alien anymore unless he's convicted, convicted of a serious crime.
Then maybe they can arrest him.
So this is on this administration.
As far as Governor Hoko, shame on her.
She supports sanctuary status in that state.
She welcomed thousands of illegal aliens to her state.
She sent him to Buffalo and Syracuse.
Murders were occurred by illegal aliens in Buffalo and Syracuse.
She has a green light law.
ICE and CBP can't even work with local law enforcement.
Local law enforcement can't even share DMV data with these people.
So Governor Hoko, shame on you.
There's nothing you can say that's going to make this right in New York.
Tom Hallman's right about that.
Not only that, but doesn't this come, don't you think it comes really at an interesting time?
You know, the same day, Biden has said he's going to commute all of these different sentences that people have the death sentence.
By the way, they were waiting on death row for horrendous crimes, very similar, a lot of them, to what we're seeing here.
Listen to some of the commuters because we heard the news about this yesterday.
We told you yesterday about this.
But now we're learning more and more about who he actually commuted the sentences for.
This is Biden's list.
Child killers, a rapist, a drug kingpin, and a partridge in a pear tree all commuted their sentences, all spared from execution.
Biden justified his decision based on his moral opposition to the death penalty.
Well, listen, I got a hard time really taking that seriously.
I am someone who is very much pro-life.
I am somebody that would actually like to see people spend their lives in jail because I believe even the sickest, even the most twisted, even the worst amongst us still has an opportunity for redemption.
Now, that's a process.
In fact, that's something that I've seen play out in my own life, but I've seen play out in lives of countless others as well.
It's a faith thing that I believe that is only possible supernaturally.
It's only possible, really, this time of year.
More than ever, it ought to be more obvious and more clear that real gift were given on Christmas.
I believe it's more clear than ever before that those things are possible.
But I have a hard time believing that Biden is so adamant about this, given his stance on the murder of innocent children in the womb.
I just don't believe he's honest.
In fact, you want to know the truth?
I don't think Biden had anything to do with these commutations.
I think these are rogue folks probably in the administration somewhere in the Justice Department somewhere, or excuse me, the injustice department somewhere that had some sort of grandiose idea about what they would do and how they would get some real, you know, justice for the perpetrators, you know, the real victims and all this, the victims of the system.
That's how they view things, by the way, through every Marxist, weird lens, that's how all of this works.
So justice for the child killers, the rapists, the drug kingpins, all of the justice for all of those death row inmates.
That's what they were looking at.
Here's the list.
Biden Pardons 37 Death Row Inmates00:04:36
The White House announcing two days before Christmas yesterday that they would give commutations to 37 of 40 of federal inmates currently on death row.
They spared the Joe Carsonai of the Boston suicide bomb.
There were a couple others.
Dylan Ruth, I think there's a couple others involved in terrorism and they said also hate crimes.
But that's what they decided that they were going to do.
37 out of the 40.
The White House said the decision stemmed from Biden's opposition to the death penalty and aligned with his Justice Department's moratorium on federal executions beginning in July of 2021.
Make no mistake, I condemn these murders, he said.
I grieve for the victims of their despicable acts and ache for all the families who have suffered unimaginable and irreparable loss.
But I'm going to hit them hardest at a time of year when they probably miss their loved ones the most.
Just can't imagine this.
He goes on to say, guided by my conscience, my experience as a public defender, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, vice president, and now president, I'm more convinced than ever we must stop the use of the death penalty at the federal level.
In good conscience, I cannot stand back and let a new administration resume executions that I halted.
I will tell you this.
On one hand, I believe life is sacred and these people have the opportunity for redemption.
also believe, because I know you set an example and you take these things serious, when people do step out and they commit horrific acts of evil, you make an example of them, you're going to have fewer of those evil acts being perpetrated.
Just not going to happen.
So who's on the list?
Critics say the victims, especially children, are the real losers of the new clemency spree.
The public outcry over the pardon has also drawn considerable attention from lawmakers.
There's a child murderer in here, one man pardoned by Biden, convicted of kidnapping and murdering a 12-year-old girl during a cross-country road trip in 2010.
How do you, how do you excuse, I just, I just can't wrap my head around this.
The man, Thomas Sanders, met the girl's mother in the summer of 2010 in Las Vegas, but they began dating.
Two months later, she agreed to bring her daughter on a road trip to a wildlife park near Grand Canyon with this man, Sanders, according to the Justice Department press release.
On the return trip, Sanders pulled over a remote area, fatally shot the mother in the head, and took the 12-year-old captive.
He proceeded to drive for several days across the country until arriving in Louisiana, where he shot and killed her, shot her four times, cut her throat, and abandoned her body in the woods.
A local hunter discovered the 12-year-old's body.
A Philadelphia drug kingpin, also on the list, Philadelphia Cabani Savage is his name, on death row for ordering a hit on the home of a federal witness, a serial killer, Jorge Alvera Torres, rather, convicted in 2011, the murder of Navy petty officer Amanda Jean Snell as she slept in her barracks, already in prison for several abductions and a rape,
for which he was also later convicted, according to the Justice Department.
He was a corporal in the Marine Corps living on the same floor of the barracks as his victim.
This whole list of people, by the way, you know what's going to make it even crazier?
Deportation is possible.
Pardons and commutations are not reversible by President-elect Trump.
A commutation of sentence has no effect on a person's immigration status will not prevent removal or deportation from the United States to be eligible to apply for commutation of sentence.
A person must have reported to prison to begin serving his sentence.
It may not challenge this.
They have the background of it.

Did you see the latest here?
Biden backing out of that student loan debt forgiveness.
I don't know who's going to be more upset about those took or this family.
One of the families who they just granted some clemency for the killer of a family member.
On Sunday afternoon, I was actually gathered with my in-laws for our family Christmas.
My sister was gathered with her in-laws, and we got the call, and I was angry.
I'm still angry.
I am upset that this is even happening, that one man can make this decision without even talking to the victims, without any regard for what we've been through, what we're going through.
I'm completely hurt, frustrated, and angry.
So, Heather, nobody gave you a heads up that this was coming from the White House.
So, in May, we heard that this was a possibility.
And at that point, we began writing letters to the pardoned attorney.
I reached out requesting an in-person meeting in DC.
And they didn't get it.
By the way, Donna Major was killed in a bank during a robbery gone awry.
And the man shot and killed her cold blood, I believe, shot her in the head.
So you imagine the family having to spend Christmas now thinking about this.
This is part for the course.
And of course, a very, you know, just unthinkable way to spend your Christmas season.
And we were refused.
They denied our right to have our voices heard.
We're victims.
My mother was murdered at the hands of Brandon Cancel.
They should have heard our story.
And all we got was a 10-minute virtual conference.
And clearly, that fell on deaf ears.
They did not want to hear our story.
Somebody at the Justice Department, somebody inside the Biden regime, wasn't Biden himself, somebody inside there said, we're just going to do this.
We're just going to do whatever we want to do because that's what they do.
By the way, forget what the American people said, I can't, I can't, my conscience won't allow it.
I've got to make sure that I end this.
We've halted this, the execution.
Let me make sure the next administration can't do this.
Forget the will of the people, the people who spoke.
And I'll tell you, the people who spoke and that loud and clear, the mandate is there.
And Donald J. Trump puts his hand on the Bible, becomes the 47th president of the United States just days from now.
Things are going to change.
Some more hope on the way.
We'll talk about some of those changes coming up in our two.
Justin Barkley at Mr. Justin Barkley online, as well as Justin Barkley back.
Interest moments in for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck program.
Merry Christmas.
This is the Glenn Beck Program.
This is the Glenn Beck Program.
It is a new day and Merry Christmas to you as we enter into a new day and a new year, maybe a new era, not just in the country, but maybe for the rest of the world.
President Trump in just days will put his hand on the Bible and be sworn in as the 47th president of the United States.
Looking back, there are quite a few things that have to be dealt with as we move forward.
A lot of rights that have to get restored, and some of those are for some folks that have been rotting in jail, in prison, for the last several years.
You talk about real injustices.
We just talked about Biden commuting sentences of these murders.
What about folks that are rotting in dungeons right now?
Julie Kelly joins us coming up after this and talk about the pardons that are on the way for folks that may deserve it the most.
Back after this, Justin Barkley and for Glenn Today on the Glenn Beck program.
What is the best gift this holiday season?
How about years or even decades off your appearance?
Because every day, people look at your face and your jawline.
And hopefully it's not as negative an experience as it is when people look at my face.
But I will say, if you use Genucelle jawline treatment with Jewel Peptide and MDL technology, they're going to like what they see.
GenuCell's most advanced technology ever can tighten saggy jawline and plump the layers of your skin to contour and define the jawline and neck area within minutes.
People go overseas.
They spend thousands of dollars to get rid of a sagging jawline or double chin.
Why do that when you can try Genucell first?
And with Genucell's immediate effects, you will see tightening in minutes and the results get better every day.
Just in time for the Christmas and holiday season, save over 70% off Genucell's complete skincare package featuring the jawline treatment and GenuCell immediate effects.
You'll even get Genucelle XV wrinkle treatment included for Christmas.
And as a special holiday gift, every package order includes a bonus beauty box with two skincare bestsellers and free priority shipping.
How many are rotting in jails right now that were filling in their political persecution, prosecution, January 6th, and others?
Julie Kelly's been covering this like no other, and she joins us now.
Julie, welcome in.
Appreciate you being here with us today.
Merry Christmas, Justin.
Thanks so much for having me on today.
Merry Christmas.
I can't help but think about this.
I actually know a man who spent, and you'll know him too, last Christmas in jail away from his family because of the persecution surrounding the January 6th.
And I know there's still folks that are locked up.
People don't think about this.
But, you know, I guess I'm reminded, and we'll start with that out of the gate.
What do you think is coming?
Trump talking about pardons and maybe more for these folks as we see it.
Some of them tried to put their lives back together, the pieces of which, and now we're starting to learn more.
We'll talk about some of the latest updates in a moment.
But what about is there some hope for those folks on the horizon?
I believe that there is.
I think there's hope on the horizon for many of them.
We have a J-6 criminal caseload approaching 1,600 total defendants.
The Biden DOJ under DCUS Attorney Matthew Graves, the Biden appointee, continues to arrest and charge people almost on a daily basis, despite the fact that President Trump has pledged for over a year that he will pardon most, if not all, J-6ers.
And Justin, not only are there J-Sixers still rotting in federal prison after being convicted by all Democrat juries in Washington, D.C. on bogus charges, B.C. prosecutor Matthew Graves and federal judges are sending people to prison now.
So they are still putting these people behind bars almost four years later.
And this includes on nonviolent low-level misdemeanors.
So it's not, of course, it's a travesty, people who are still in jail for excessive sentences.
But it's even more egregious after the election with the new incoming Attorney General, a new incoming DCUS attorney, and obviously the president planning to pardon hundreds of J-6ers on day one, that they are still accelerating this abusive, vengeful prosecution against Trump supporters.
You know, I think it's one thing if there's violence involved and things like that.
But even though we have seen some real eyes opened onto what was happening, the amount of federal agents who were present that day and story after story that really makes you take a closer look at this.
But you got to wonder, how do we stop some of this from going as far as it has gone?
Because in the future, you still have a lot of these players who were responsible for this insanity sitting on benches.
And I know you've been in their courtrooms and watched this stuff play out.
It's incredible.
It's absolutely infuriating.
I was in the DC courthouse last week.
They put on trial, and this is the chief judge of the Washington Federal Court District Court, James Bosberg, an Obama appointee.
He was presiding over the misdemeanor trial of a woman who was inside the Capitol for nine minutes.
She faces four federal misdemeanors.
He promised that he would take his time with jury selection in a city that just voted 93% for Kamala Harris.
Once again, denying motions for venue changes, which every DC judge, including Republicans, including Trump supporters, have denied change of venue motions.
Think about this, Justin.
Putting this woman on trial, it took 90 minutes for jury selection.
Absolutely outrageous.
It was a two-day trial, and within a few hours, this D.C. jury once again came back with all guilty verdicts for a woman.
You showed the video.
She was inside for nine minutes.
She was lost.
She was trying to get out.
She was chatting with police officers.
D.C. Metro and Capitol police officers were right there.
It was the Senate wing door.
She entered an hour after the building had been evacuated.
There were no proceedings going on at the time, but nonetheless convicted in, again, record time by all Democrats on this DC jury, and now waiting for Biden's DOJ to come back and ask for her to be in jail for up to a year on those convictions.
I just can't, I can't imagine nine minutes for a year.
And you know, you know what?
I'm struck with the most is the videos that we saw that day of the people orderly walking through the velvet ropes there in the rotunda.
I mean, this is who you're talking about.
Somebody that did not know where they were, was caught up, maybe lost in the situation.
This is incredible.
Justin?
Can you hear me?
I'm sorry.
Yeah, I don't know what happened there.
Wait, we just broke off for a second.
I'll fix it here.
But to me, this reminds me of the videos we saw where the people were walking through the velvet ropes in the rotunda.
I mean, this is the same type of, she didn't know where she was.
She was lost.
This isn't somebody who needs to be locked up for a year.
Absolutely not.
But this is representative of so many J6 cases, which is why President Trump on day one should immediately pardon, as I said, most, if not all.
Now, you bring up the issue of violent offenders.
I've seen other people, including the president, bring this up.
But even those accused of violence, they did not receive a fair trial in Washington.
The evidence was rigged, so only what was favorable to the government was presented to jurors.
I've seen this over and over.
Furthermore, it escapes culpability for the police officers who engaged in such egregious misconduct, resulting in the deaths of three Trump supporters, including fatal shooting, killing of Ashley Babbitt.
But Justin, as the J-6 narrative is disintegrating in the public and political sphere, the judges and prosecutors in this DC courthouse are completely, well, they act like they are insulated or ignorant to all the new evidence that we've seen over the past year or so, not just federal agents, misconduct by police officers, and other lies that the public has been told now being exposed, but this is of no interest to federal judges and these prosecutors.
Okay, so you kind of bring us, Julie, now to the point that I wanted to get into.
Just recently, we're starting to learn more about some of these people.
Well, you know, what was going on behind the scenes last week where we heard more about what was going on behind the scenes with Liz Cheney and the testimony of Cassidy Hutchinson and how it looks like, boy, I tell you what, it looks like witness tampering to me.
It sure does.
But we're learning more about what was happening behind the scenes on that story of the Secret Service, the driver of the beast, and that crazy wacky.
We knew from the beginning this is just insane.
It was just so absurd that President Trump would lunge towards the driver of the beast.
And there's more details coming out about this.
It's been hidden this whole time.
Well, what Chairman Barry Lautermilk, who is the chair of this subcommittee for the House Administration Committee, Barry Lautermilk is investigating the events of January 6th and also the J-6 Select Committee.
What he has produced are text messages that were exchanged on an encrypted app between Cassidy Hutchinson, the committee's star witness, and Liz Cheney directly, the vice chairman of the J6 committee at the time.
What it appears is that Liz Cheney convinced Cassidy Hutchinson to fire her existing attorney at the time, who was being paid by Donald Trump's PAC as Donald Trump was paying for a lot of White House officials who were being, you know, dragged before the J6 Select Committee numerous times to give depositions.
So it appears Liz Cheney convinced Cassidy Hutchinson to dump that attorney.
She found two attorneys to work pro bono for Cassidy Hutchinson.
And then Justin, all of a sudden, Cassidy Hutchinson's story changed.
She had already given two interviews to the J6 Select Committee.
She never brought up any sort of confrontation that happened in the presidential vehicle that afternoon, never said that Donald Trump was aware of weapons at the ellipse, never said that he threw a plate with ketchup on it.
All of this suddenly materialized in June of 2022 in her explosive public performance.
And this appears to be the result of Liz Cheney collaborating behind the scenes with Cassidy Hutchinson and her new attorneys to concoct these outlandish stories that nonetheless, the media picked up as fact.
Well, the driver of the vehicle, Justin, and I was posting this yesterday, begged the committee.
His attorney begged the committee for months to testify to contradict what Cassidy Hutchinson has said, had said.
Justin's Begging Testimony00:07:38
Only before.
Election day on 2022, when everyone knew Republicans were going to win, did the committee sit down with the driver of that vehicle, who on numerous occasions said that incident never happened.
They concealed that transcript until a few months ago, buried it at the Biden White House.
Laudermilk finally got it.
And that's what I've been posting as well.
No one has corroborated Cassidy Hutchinson's story.
It appears that not only did Liz Cheney suborn perjury, but was involved with the destruction of evidence produced by the committee, one terabyte of records, and every single video recording made of these transcribed interviews that over a thousand witnesses participated in during the 18-month JSICS committee investigation.
Julie, can you hold for a second?
I want to ask you about what stood out the most in that testimony to you, but also just a quick recap.
Just a few minutes left on the other side of the break here.
We'll be able to kind of give everybody a heads up on what remains of any cases President Trump might face and where things are going from here as we're just days away for him putting his hand on the Bible, getting sworn in, and beginning his presidency as the 47th here of the United States.
Back with more after this on the Glenn Beck program.

And I wanted to just find out that testimony, some of it's come out here, the driver of the beast in this absurd story, finally getting the update and the light shine on it that it should have all along.
Julie, what stood out to you the most out of the testimony that came out, the drive of that Secret Service member?
I mean, really, just on, well, here's what really stood out.
It was clear that no one on the committee, either the staff investigators or the members who were involved in this questioning, was going to ask the driver about this alleged confrontation.
They avoided it.
And it was only after the attorney representing the driver, who's still unnamed, but is still with the Secret Service.
It was only after the attorney and the witness, the driver, raised it voluntarily that they addressed this confrontation at all.
And then Liz Cheney, she, of course, tried to avoid this.
And then at the end, said, well, I just want to make sure we never said that there was a physical assault in the vehicle.
Well, she described it herself as a physical altercation during Kathy Hutchinson's televised testimony.
So this just underscores the sneakiness, the corruption, the dirtiness of Liz Cheney, which is exactly why Donald Trump and others are correct to say she should face investigation and criminal charges, not just for her conduct on the committee, but potentially deceiving the American people in her longtime effort to take down Donald Trump and the MAGA movement.
Julie Kelly, with us, last but not least, what may stand still of any of the cases or charges of President Trump out there?
What we've seen one after the other fall or really crumble like a house of cards?
Well, I think the greatest thing to happen in the last few weeks is the Georgia appellate court, who reversed the lower court judge Scott McAfee, who did his best to salvage Fannie Willis from her disqualification proceedings because of her conflicts, obviously.
So she is permanently removed her office, removed from that case, Jack Smith dismissing the two federal.
Well, one had already been dismissed by Judge Cannon earlier this year in Florida, the documents case, Jack Smith then moving to dismiss the indictment in Washington on the January 6th case against Donald Trump.
So, but of course, Juan Marshan will be the last man standing trying to keep that case, the 34 bogus felony convictions, alive in New York until after Donald Trump leaves the White House in 2029.
Julie, what's the best way folks can stay up today with all the breaking news and things that you're covering?
You do such a great job of this.
I follow you on X, but what's the best way people can stay up today?
Thanks, Justin.
Thanks for having me on.
So I have my own substack declassified with Julie Kelly, also write for Real Clear Investigations.
And as you know, do a lot of posting on Axe, Twitter, Julie underscore Kelly2.
Fantastic.
Thanks for the update.
And Merry Christmas, Julie.
We appreciate you taking the time to be here with us today.
Merry Christmas to you and your family, Justin.
You too.
And, you know, because it is Christmas Eve, we still have a very special couple of things coming up in the show for you, but we also can't ignore that holiday that maybe you too have grown to know and love, right?
Festivus.
Well, it was yesterday in the airing of the grievings as well.
It's all of the all of the things that you're upset about.
All the Festivus poll and all that, you know, the made-up holiday from Seinfeld.
Fantastic.
Rand Paul has taken it and just run with it.
And, you know, every year now he comes out with Rand that list of waste, fraud, and abuse.
And it's this year probably more important than ever before because something he's been doing for years is really going to get a front row seat at the table.
And Doge, the Department of Government Efficiency with Elon Musk and, of course, Vivekriam Aswami, really going to be taking these things and bringing them to light more than ever before.
A trillion dollars on just absolute waste.
Drag shows, Arabic Sesame Street.
That's a thing.
And the two judged opposed.
I just can't imagine.
Lonely rats.
Just a few.
Just a few of the things.
$10,000 spent on a bearded lady ice skating show.
A bearded lady ice skating show.
Just one of the numerous examples, they say, the frivolous federal spending highlighted by Senator Rampaul.
And the latest on this is he's released a list.
You'll hear from Rand coming up.
And of course, join us if you like at any point in time in the program, 888727BEC.
Simply Safe Black Friday Deal00:03:34
That's 888-727-BECK as we get the Festivus report in just moments.
I think you're going to dig that.
You're really going to love it.
In the meantime, I just, I want to tell you this before we run into the break.
I don't know what you're doing today.
I don't know how you're celebrating, but I just got this message from my precious angels, my little girls.
And something that was recorded, just, I guess, candid random singing in the kitchen this morning.
King fat.
King goes on now.
Jesus Christ is born.
Go tell it on a mountain.
Jesus Christ is born.
Go tell me on a mountain.
Go tell it on a mountain.
Now listen.
They're not quite as polished as Cheyenne Grace.
But I'm telling you, those two are my pride and joy.
And man, I am thrilled to hear them singing the songs of the season.
And I had to share.
I'm a dad.
That's what I do.
Back with more after this.

But yeah, we'll take it.
And God bless.
And just a beautiful, I think that was from the Believe album a few years ago.
I know Glenn's getting into the record business.
Maybe I get some worked out for my God.
I love you, girls.
It's a beautiful thing.
Killing Waste, Fraud, and Abuse00:14:36
And man, this year, Christmas is back.
Have you noticed this?
Christmas is actually back.
Tried, they've been trying for years, but they tried to cancel Christmas.
And I don't know about you.
We're just not going to let that happen.
Kamala tried to cancel Christmas.
How dare we speak Merry Christmas?
How dare we?
Well, guess what?
We're saying Merry Christmas again.
It's right.
We're saying Merry Christmas again.
And we're also, can't ignore, can't forget the holiday tradition of Festivus.
The tradition of Festivus begins with the airing of grievances.
Rand Paul has quite a few.
In fact, he comes out with this list every year.
It's become like a massive tradition.
And really what it's known for more than anything else, it's just giving you the waste, fraud, and abuse that our government is, the federal government anyway, so used to perpetrating on us.
And here is just a few in the report.
Matter of fact, a big year because why?
Because he's been doing this for years.
Finally, you have a mandate to cut, to get rid of some of this stuff.
The president, obviously, you've got the Doge caucus, Department of Government Efficiency.
You've got folks like Elon Musk that want to overlook and oversee some of this, get a report done along with Vivek, and they're going to be handing it over to the president.
Now, they don't have a power to actually do any cutting themselves, but they're going to hand this report over to the president, and that's where the rubber is going to start to meet the road.
Now, you know, Congress controls the purse strings.
But there's some things, there's some executive actions and whatnot the president's going to be able to do.
We'll have to wait and see what he actually ends up doing.
But this, to me, I just, I find to be perfectly timed.
Senator Rand Paul's annual Festive Report, the Festivus Report, the Satirical Critique, as you know, inspired by the Seinfeld episode, The Strike, where Festivus is an alternative holiday created by the character Frank Costanza, George's dad, symbolizing a protest against the commercialization of Christmas.
The report highlighting the various instances of government waste with a focus on seemingly frivolous expenditures coinciding with the Government Accountability Office's recent report on $236 billion in federal improper payments.
Can you imagine?
And what do I got to do to get one of those improper payments?
Nothing's ever going to take it back.
I don't know how they went.
If I spend it, it's gone.
I'd like a little improper payment here or there.
Well, it's obvious.
The inefficiencies and the waste, the fraud, and the abuse in the government spending.
So here we have a couple of the things on the list this year.
And I gather around, children.
Gather around as I give you the list.
And well, we've made it.
Rand has anyway, and he's checking it twice to find out how naughty the government's been.
You know, one of those things was a secret service protection on Fauci.
I'll give you this.
I think it's kind of interesting to see.
I think they're going to do away with this.
This guy, I don't know why he's at, well, it's just another example.
Just another example of all the craziness and why we spend so much money.
And you talk about the programs that Fauci oversaw.
Oh, boy.
$3 million in this report.
They found Rand Paul in his festival report for girl-centered climate action in Brazil.
$3 million for girl-centered climate action in Brazil.
First of all, I don't even know what that could mean.
I don't understand possibly what are girls, ladies, women, are you responsible for more climate change issues than men?
Somehow women are partially, well, I think, what is that?
I don't know.
The privilege here is really tough to see through.
I'm not sure whether that's, you know, that's sexist.
I'm not sure how to, how do you, how do I wrap my head around that?
How dare you?
Thank you, Greta.
I needed, I needed to figure that.
I'm not sure if I had a way out of that, and I didn't want to step in it.
Blah, blah, blah.
Yeah, exactly.
$20 million for a new Sesame Street show.
It's Arabic.
Arabic Sesame Street, from what I understand.
$10,000 for the Bearded Ladies Cabaret.
Here we go again.
A climate change-focused ice skate show.
Where are they coming up with this?
Who's responsible?
And think about this.
Think about how bad it is.
When the government rips this money from your wallets, from your fists, when they rip it out, you know, essentially the way things are set up, the way things work in this guy, you give your time and you trade it for money.
You're trading not just your time, but a piece of your life.
You're trading a piece of your life, your soul, who you are for that money.
Every day you get up and go to work.
You do that because you want to make the world a better place and give your kids the opportunity that you never had in a lot of ways.
You want to give them the same, if not better, opportunity.
And you do that.
You give yourself a little bit away every day to make that possible.
And the government comes in.
What does the government say?
Oh, we'll take that.
You know, the Lord never asked for more than 10%.
And here's the government come away with more than half in a lot of cases.
And what's it for?
Well, $10,000 of it went to the Bearded Ladies Cabaret for a climate change-focused ice skate show.
$365,000 went for circuses in city parks.
Circuses in city parks.
What is that?
What is some of the, you won't believe this next one?
$32,500 breakdancing.
Now, Hood doesn't say who's breakdancing, why they're breakdancing, what got broken when they were dancing, none of that.
But we have $32,000, almost $33,000 for breakdancing.
$330,000 went for censoring conservative media.
I'm not making that up.
You know what that's looked like over the last several years.
If they were still in charge, if they were still in control, they'd be doing the same thing.
And it'd probably get worse.
In fact, I just saw the view.
They were out talking about this on the view the other day.
There was a whole thing about, well, if we would have been able to censor social media, then we'd still be in control.
And gosh, there's never been anything done about that.
We could just get social media censored.
Well, it would help if we could regulate social media because one of the biggest defenders is D.C. and Congress have not been able to do one thing in regard to the rogue corporations.
I got to get any better when I work with Elon Musk and the administration.
Look, they've been censoring social media.
Ma'am, it's been regulated behind the scenes for years now.
And one might argue that one of the only reasons why we're able to get out of this mess is Elon Musk.
So they're going to turn all their sights on him.
You know that's going.
Because if they can't, they can't continue to give away.
He's going to be at the forefront of telling you what some of this waste, fraud, and abuse is.
$720,000 for conservation of ducks in Mexico.
In fact, what we saw happen earlier last week may be a primer.
It may be a precursor to some of the things that we're going to see, the way we can fight back in the future.
And the good news is it's not just technology, but it's the people that use it and this social media that's made it possible.
X may have killed the way, not just this latest bill, but the way things are done in the swamp.
Elon may have had a big hand in that.
We'll tell you how, actually, coming up in just a bit.
I've got a clip from the folks, the billionaires that sit around on that pod.
It's a really interesting podcast.
Is it all in?
Is there any all-in podcast where they talk about this?
It's not just Elon.
It's not just what happened last week.
It's a deeper dive in the technology that makes these things possible.
We'll get into that.
Killing waste, fraud, and abuse this time of year.
Always a fun thing to do.
We're back with more of it.
After this, Justin Barkley in for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck program.

They may have just done it.
Uh.
Elon Musk and exempt along with you, President Trump and the mandate, just sort of transformed not just with this latest bill, the 1500 pager, but transformed the way all of this works in general.
fact that podcast I enjoy called the Old End Podcast, a bunch of billionaires sitting around actually having a great conversation.
These guys drove a lot of funding and a lot of support for President Trump in the election as well.
They're very pragmatic and realistic thinkers in a lot of ways, but they'll also give you sort of an idea of what's possible.
They talk about the technology.
In fact, what was used in this whole scenario, in fact, to get through the 1500-page bill, find out what was inside, et cetera.
What are your thoughts on what we saw this past 72 hours?
It was related to this bill.
It was the most incredible change in how politics will be done going forward.
I think that people are probably underestimating what happened here.
This was a multi-hundred billion dollar grift that was stopped on a dime over 12 hours of tweets.
You would have never thought that that was possible.
The point is to put a dagger in something that big that had so much broad support just a few hours earlier, I think it's so consequential in how the United States can run going forward.
It's not just about what happened the other day with that bill.
It's the technology and it's the model now, the ability to look inside these things.
Remember the old Nancy Pelosi thing?
Well, you got to pass it to be able to see what's inside of it.
They dumped these things on the desks of these staffers and nobody knew what was inside.
They run around on the media and tell her, like, we got to pass this or the sky is going to fall.
Hakeem Jeffries and the Democrats tried the same thing again this time and it did not work.
In fact, it's failed miserably because people are onto them.
Building on what you said, Shamath, also very interesting here is the fact that Trump hasn't taken office yet and they're having this huge impact.
This is occurring a month before he's even in office.
If they can stop this, what will they do when they actually are in power?
I think right now you're seeing the first order reaction, which is about the bill itself.
And I think that misses the point.
The bigger issue is going forward, you will have the ability to, and part of it is because we have a set of tools now that allows us to do this.
He's talking about AI, ChatGPT, or Grok or whatever it might be, but there's a whole number of these and they're getting smarter.
First Order Reaction to Trump00:03:36
They're getting better every day.
To read 1,500 pages in a matter of minutes, to summarize it into the key essential elements, to really understand what's being asked and what's being offered.
Here's what he described it as.
Jamal said, new feature, Gronk auto-analyzes all new congressional bills, summarizes it into a few pages a fifth grader can understand and publishes it into everyone's feed.
You can mute these stories, but you can't say you weren't given a chance to know.
That's his proposal for a new idea.
I think that's fascinating.
And think about this.
It's going to give the power back to the American people.
There's a lot of ways that you're overwhelmed.
You don't have time to read through.
I mean, you wouldn't read through 100 pages.
The average person wouldn't read through one page.
But now you can know, and you could know in short form, short order too, exactly what it is.
And it makes it approachable for everyone.
And then to put it in a digestible format that normal people can consume.
Then all you'll have to do is just connect the dots and tell your congressman or congresswoman that you like or dislike this thing.
And what you're going to see is a much more active form of government.
And I think.
I love this idea.
This is transformative.
And I got to tell you, I think he's right.
He's on to something.
This is going to have massive impact because it puts the people back in control.
Now, before, and for so long now, you've been out of the loop.
And they've done that on purpose.
They've been able to hide these things.
Not anymore.
There's a new dawn, a new era.
More good news on the way.
In fact, it's about the good news.
You see, Bible sales are up this year.
They're booming.
We'll talk about what's behind it and more coming up on the Glenn Beck program.
The Glenn Beck Program.
This is the Glenn Beck Program.
Now, we've been through the news today, and, you know, there's still a lot of stories out there.
And in fact, maybe some that we'll have to, he'll yet dig into.
But there's a lot of good news happening, too.
Want to give you a little bit of hope, a little bit of encouragement for these trying times that we're in.
In fact, we got a couple of special things coming up for you this hour that may just do the trick.
Some big news.
In fact, the good news.
We'll get to it right after this.
It's Justin Barkley in this one of the Glenn Beck Program.

How about some hope?
Some good news?
Some encouragement?
Let's start with Pastor Lorenzo Sewell.
You can't deny the power of God on this man's life.
You can't deny that God protected him.
You cannot deny that it was a millimeter miracle that was able to save this man's life.
Could it be that Jesus Christ preserved him for such a time as this?
Detroit Pastor Lorenzo Sewell speaking at the RNC about President Trump.
Could it be that when we prayed for him when he came to the roundtable in Detroit, that Jesus asked and he received, that we sought him and then he found protection?
Could it be that the king of glory, the Lord God, strong and mighty, the God who is mighty in battle, protected Donald Trump because he wants to use him for such a time as this?
If you believe that, come on, put your hands together and give a break, God blabber!
I don't know if the RNC expected that they were going to have a little church in there, but they sure got it.
Pastor Lorenzo Sewell.
Gosh, I got to tell you.
Thank you for doing this.
Welcome on to the Glen Beck Program.
Thank you so much for having me.
I'm so Holy Ghost, happy to be here with you.
Yes, Pastor.
Well, the reason why I want to talk, it's dual fold here.
I mean, I want to give people, obviously, some hope.
I want to give people, especially in some dark times, the encouragement to know that good things are on the way in the natural, but also in the spiritual as well.
I want to give people a little bit of that, a dose of that.
And one of the stories I saw, I thought, got to talk about this.
You're probably one of the best people I can think of to talk about it, but it's an incredible story.
Bible sales are booming.
And this is data that has been collected by folks who do publishing and things like that.
22%.
Bible sales are up 22% in the last year.
And notably, it's a shift actually for first time.
Folks who have bought these Bibles, so the first time they've ever engaged, this is really something incredible.
What do you think is happening in this good news?
You know, it's interesting that you say that because King Solomon, David's son, the wisest and the richest man of all time, he said that God put eternity in the heart of all people, meaning that we all have a Holy Ghost hunger.
We all have a desire, longing, and a passion for Jesus to give us a real life encounter with him.
We all have a desire to understand that religion doesn't just do, the rules and regulations just don't do, but we need a personal, intimate encounter with Jesus Christ.
That's the only thing that will do.
And this is the reason why people are buying Bibles because they want to have an encounter with the same Jesus that I had an encounter with.
Yeah, that's a good, that's a good thing.
I think there is something.
There's a point that there's a hunger, I think, or a curiosity naturally in a lot of people.
I think even when you're looking at people who, especially nowadays in this day and age, they're looking and they're going in all kinds of different places for that connection, for that something.
There's craving something deeper.
You know, like there's got to be more to this life.
There's got to be more to it than what I see on the surface.
And maybe in the last few years with everything that's going on and as bad as things have gotten, you know, President Trump, I know you talked about the millimeter miracle.
Sure.
When you gave that speech at RNC, President Trump was brought to his knees in that moment.
And I think maybe the country has been as well.
Absolutely.
I mean, the Bible clearly shows us that God speaks through his word, his written word.
He speaks through his son.
But he also speaks through circumstances.
And I look at America, how we are essentially God's city, so to speak, that is set upon a hill.
I think about how Americans have sent out literally hundreds of millions of missionaries since his inception.
I think about being a black American and how white Christians taught black people how to read, right?
It was white Christians that started the Underground Railroad.
It was, and we have a history in this country of glorifying Jesus.
And then in these last four years, we saw that the history of our country was going on the trajectory, quite frankly, where men were calling good evil and evil good.
We were becoming a sodomic amora, so to speak, in our country.
I'm not saying that America is perfect, but what I am saying is that America was founded on the Gale Christian principles, whereby have allowed us to become the most prosperous and the most spiritual nation of all time.
That's causing literally millions of people to want to come to America because of how Jesus has blessed our country.
Are we seeing a revival happening right now?
Absolutely.
I was, listen, I have been all over this country.
I was literally at the AM Fest with my good friend Charlie Kirk.
I just got back from there.
I have been all over this country praying in Republican context.
And every single time, Justin, I was there, I lifted up the name of Jesus.
There was not one time that any Republican looked at me and said, you need to say this a particular way.
I have always been given the freedom to proclaim Christ and him crucify.
And I believe that we are on the precipice and we're living in a revival, that Jesus has used this political moment as a spiritual moment.
And we can tell by the data as it pertains to people buying Bibles.
I was at, speaking of revivals, I was at Asbury University.
I guess it was a little, maybe two years ago almost in Kentucky there where they had a spontaneous breakout of this revival that took place.
And I remember Tucker was still working at Fox News at the time, very interested in it.
He wanted to cover.
They told him, said, don't come because they didn't, I don't think they knew what he was going to do with it and what it was going to look like.
But now knowing how he's had such a transformation and what was going on in his life, I think he was really curious about it and wanted to shine a light on it.
It was, I've got to tell you, I've never seen anything like it.
And the only way I can describe it is to tell you that it was like the kingdom of heaven had really settled down there on the campus of Esbury University.
I had seen things I'd never seen before.
People lined up like they were going to a football game.
They were lined up through this little town there, and they were trying to get into the auditorium there to have this encounter, and they came from all over.
Pastor, I saw somebody, one of the stories, they came from, I believe it was like Mexico, bought a plane ticket, came here because they needed healing or something along these lines, a family desperately looking for that.
People that come from all over the country just to experience it, young people, and they were getting it.
And things were happening that were just miraculous.
So I see this and I see what's happened in our country.
One of the things that I know Glenn's noted, in fact, I've had this conversation multiple times, but to see a win from President Trump, I often said it does, the fix is in.
Miraculous Healing in Detroit00:02:33
I said, the only way this happens is if God intervenes and he gets all the credit.
And I think we may have seen that.
So my question for you is after we've seen a year of miracles, what do we need to do to continue down that path and to see those things continue to happen?
Because listen, winning this election is one thing and solving the problems and the real issues that we've seen in this country come to the forefront.
Boy, there's going to be a lot more than just an election that has to take place.
If you can hang on the line, I want to get your answer to that.
Big question.
Give you a moment to think about it.
And we'll be back with Pastor Lorenzo Sewell, who'll join us right after this on the Glenn Beck program.

You know, this scripture has been, you know, this has been a top of mind for a while now, but I think it really came to life in this last year.
Pastor Lorenzo Sul is with us right now from Wannetti Church in Detroit.
And the scripture I'm talking about, this 2 Chronicles 7, 14, and I know you're very familiar with this, but if my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
Detroit's Waking Up to Displacement00:07:04
I think we've seen this, but I still think there's more to come.
What's on the horizon and what do we need to do to follow this through, Pastor?
Justin, you're filled with discernment at this moment to see that there is more.
The Bible clearly says, do justly love mercy and walk humbly before your God in Micah 6, 8.
And the context of that verse is the poor being neglected.
And as a black American, what I've seen is that we have 1,000 majority black cities in America.
Can you imagine that?
In the state of Michigan, we have 14 majority black cities that represent 57 congressional districts all over this land.
The one thing they all share in common is that these cities are literally the worst places to live in in America, highest crime, highest poverty, highest overdose, highest foreclosures.
The reason why Jesus allowed me to be in the position that I can be in now is to be a voice to the voiceless.
And this is what I believe the Republican Party needs to do.
We need to, number one, start a Republican black caucus.
We need to have a national movement of black conservatives that can go and lead in black cities.
Now, someone would say, well, why would we do that?
Because of election integrity.
In the state of Michigan, we were told that 246,303 people voted in Detroit.
We went to go and get our voter list.
There are only 195,000 people on the voter list that was given to us in Detroit.
We know that 50,000 people are missing.
And we know that elections have been stolen in the city of Detroit.
We know that.
So when President Trump came in 2020 and he said election integrity, we knew as black people, that's what we've been talking about the entire time.
But nobody has listened to our voices.
No one has been willing to stand up for us.
So God has heard our prayers.
He's heard our cries.
The first thing we need to do is start the black Republican caucus where we will train and equip black conservative leaders to go into black cities and begin to lead specifically as it pertains to election integrity.
That's number one.
Number two is the righteous regulation of resources, three R's, righteous regulation of resources.
If we want to see our victory be sustained, if we want to continue this trajectory of momentum, we must have the righteous regulation of resources as it pertains to HUD, as it pertains to the Community Reinvestment Act, which is CRA, which is bank regulations, and as it pertains to SBA.
These resources, Justin, have never been regulated righteously in poor black cities.
That's the reason why they cheat so they can steal these resources.
But the devil is a liar.
We will not allow him to steal from our communities anymore.
And that's how we can continue to maintain the momentum that we have.
Do you think when watching over the last year or so, and particularly in places like Detroit and Chicago, do you think that the black community is waking up to this because of what they're watching happening with illegal immigration?
Yes.
Like where we are, we have 28 Venezuelans in our community.
We literally have, in our community right now, where I'm standing, I mean in my church, our community where I stand, two blocks from where I am right now, we have entire blocks that literally black people have been moved out of and Venezuelans are there.
As a matter of fact, Justin, it's so bad that before President Trump was elected, people were saying to my community, pastor, let us take the church bus for a three-day trip, leave out of the country, come back into the country illegally so they can get more money on their bridge car and they can be able to get a have no background, have a clean background, have nothing on their background in terms of legalities.
So they're saying, so my community is saying it would be better for us to leave the country and come back in illegally because they feel like illegal immigrants get more than they do.
That's incredible.
I watch these things.
That's a real story.
The injustice, it's just, it hits so hard.
This time of year, particularly, we just watched, there's a story out of New York City and the subway.
I just saw this video again.
And I got to tell you, don't go looking for it because I think every time we see something like this, it really affects us and our soul.
And I think in a way that it's horrific to watch, but we have to know that this type of thing is happening.
So there's a man here in the country illegally.
He sets a woman sleeping on fire in the subway.
And it's wild to watch as this is happening.
This is going on.
Police are walking by.
People are filming it.
Nobody is helping.
And then there's another clip where the man who sat on, eventually he was the one who set her on fire.
Then he went and sat on a bench and watched her.
He gets up at one point and goes to almost fan the flames on this woman as she's standing there.
I watched this.
I see Biden then commute the sentences of folks who are guilty of killing children and just a lot of horrific things that we've seen.
Then we see folks who are sitting in, obviously, in jails and gulags right now for January 6th offenses.
And yet there's no justice for them.
There is no real justice in this country.
There's really no righteousness at this moment.
What do we got to do to see that restored?
As a people, we need to lift our voice.
We know that God listens to the prayers of those who are the least of these, those who are the disenfranchised, marginalized, and quite frankly pushed aside.
God listens to their prayers.
But also, we need to hold our legislators accountable and we need to hold Congress accountable.
And as it pertains to things like election integrity, we need to have a congressional hearing.
That's what I've asked Jim Jordan for, Congressman Jim Jordan.
And I've also asked our state legislature that we would bring people from our community in front of Congress and the legislature in order to ask the questions that need to be asked in terms of voter integrity.
And I'm also going to ask city council, which also has the power to subpoena people in our community, specifically our lieutenant governor, who Garland Gilchrist in Michigan, he talked about election integrity in 2017 when he lost the city clerk race.
So this is a bipartisan issue.
And this is why I think we as a people, if we lift our voice collectively and hold people accountable, we'll see the crooked way made straight and the rough way smoothed.
Election Integrity and Christmas Gifts00:02:45

Merry Christmas!
The Glen Break program, one thing left to do today, a very special thing to share with you the real story of Christmas.
The Real Story of Christmas00:09:10
For a child will be born to us, a son will be given us, and the government will rest upon his shoulders.
His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.
There will be no end to the increase of his government or of peace on the throne of David and over his kingdom to establish it and uphold it with justice and righteousness from then on and forevermore.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will accomplish this.
God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a village in Galilee, to a virgin named Mary.
She was engaged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of King David.
Gabriel appeared to her and said, Greetings, favorite one.
The Lord is with you.
Confused and disturbed, Mary tried to think what it could mean.
Don't be frightened, Mary, the angel told her.
God has chosen to bless you.
You will become pregnant and have a son, and you are to name him Jesus.
He will be very great and be called son of the Most High.
But Mary asked the angel, how can I have a baby?
I'm a virgin.
And the angel replied, The Holy Spirit will come upon you.
The power of the Most High will overshadow you.
So the baby born to you will be holy, and he will be called the Son of God.
While Mary was still a virgin, she became pregnant by the Holy Spirit.
And Joseph, her fiancé, decided to break the engagement quietly, so as not to disgrace her publicly.
As he considered this, he fell asleep.
And the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream.
Joseph, son of David, the angel said, don't be afraid to go ahead with your marriage to Mary.
For the child in her has been conceived by the Holy Spirit.
She'll have a son, and you are to name him Jesus.
For he will save his people from their sin.
All of this happened to fulfill the Lord's message through his prophet.
Behold, the virgin will conceive a child.
She'll give birth to a son, and he will be called Emmanuel, meaning God with us.
This prophecy from Isaiah 7.14 was given 700 years before Jesus was born.
When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel the Lord commanded him.
He brought Mary home to be his wife, but she remained a virgin until her son was born.
At that time, the Roman Emperor Augustus decreed that a census should be taken throughout all the Roman Empire.
All return home to their hometowns to register for the census.
Because Joseph was a descendant of King David, he had to go to Bethlehem in Judea, David's ancient home.
He traveled from the village of Nazareth in Galilee and took with him Mary, his wife, who was great with child.
And while they were there, they came time for the baby to be born.
She gave birth to her first child, a son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes and lied him in the manger.
That night there were shepherds in the field outside the village guarding their flocks of sheep.
And suddenly, an angel of the Lord appeared among them and the radiance of the Lord's glory surrounded them.
They were terribly frightened, but the angel reassured them.
Do not be afraid, he said.
I bring you good news of great joy for everyone.
The Savior, yea, the Messiah, the Lord has been born tonight in the city of David.
And this is how you'll recognize him.
You'll find him, a baby, in a manger, wrapped in swaddling clothes.
Suddenly, the angel was joined by the vast host of heaven, the armies praising God and saying, Glory to God in the highest and on earth, peace, goodwill to men.
The angels left, and the shepherds said to each other, Come, let us go to Bethlehem and see this wonderful thing that has happened that the Lord has told us about.
So they ran to the village and found Mary and Joseph.
And there was the baby, lying in the manger.
The shepherds told everyone what had happened and what the angel had said about the child.
All who heard this story were astonished.
The shepherds went back to the fields and flocks, glorifying and praising the Lord.
Jesus was born in the town of Bethlehem in Judea during the reign of King Herod.
And at the same time came wise men from the east to Jerusalem asking, where is the newborn king of the Jews?
We've seen a star that arose and have come to worship him.
Herod was deeply disturbed by their question, as was all of Jerusalem.
He called a meeting of the leading priests and teachers of religious law.
Where do the prophets say the Messiah will be born? He asked.
In Bethlehem, they said, for this is what a prophet wrote, O Bethlehem of Judea, you're not just a lowly village of Judah, for a ruler will come to you who will be shepherd for my people, Israel.
This prophecy, found in Micah 5 and verse 2, and 2 Samuel 5 and verse 2, were both written 700 years before Jesus Christ was ever born.
So Herod sent a message to the wise men, asking them to come see him.
At this time in the meeting, he learned the exact time when they first saw the star, and he told them to go to Bethlehem, search diligently for the child, and when you find him, come tell me that I may worship him too.
After this meeting, the wise men went on their way, and once again, the star appeared to guide them to Bethlehem.
It went ahead of them and stopped over the place where the child was.
When they saw the star, they were filled with joy.
They entered the house where the child and his mother were, and they fell down and worshipped him.
They opened their treasure chest and gave him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
But when it came time to leave, they went another way because God had warned them in a dream not to return to Herod.
After the wise men were gone, the angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream.
Get up, flee to Egypt with the child and his mother, the angel said.
Stay there until I tell you to return, because Herod will try to kill the child.
That very night, Joseph left for Egypt with the child and marry his mother.
They stayed there until Herod's death.
This fulfilled what the Lord had spoken to the prophet, Out of Egypt I have called my son.
Herod was furious.
When he learned that the wise men had outwitted him, he sent soldiers to kill all the baby boys in and around Bethlehem who were two years old and under, because the wise men had told him that the star had first appeared to them about two years before.
Then later, when Herod died, God's angel appeared in a dream of Joseph in Egypt.
Get up, take the child and his mother and return to Israel.
All those who wished to murder the child are dead.
So Joseph obeyed.
He arose and took the child and his mother and re-entered Israel.
When he heard, though, that Herod's son had taken over as king in Judea, he was afraid to go there.
But then Joseph was directed in a dream to go to the hills of Galilee.
On arriving, he settled in the village of Nazareth, thus fulfilling the words of the prophets.
For he should be called a Nazarene.
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
And this is the story.
The story of Christmas.

If you're scrambling to think of a good present for your loved ones, give them what I gave my family last year.
The peace of mind with a Burna Less Lethal Launcher.
Or tree yourself with the Burna Launcher.
You can be confident that you and your family are prepared to defend against any potential threats.
Plus, it's easy to use and legal to use for anybody over 18.
The Burna Launcher, safe, effective defense solution equipped with powerful non-lethal deterrents, including tear gas and kinetic rounds, with a 60-foot range capable of stopping an attacker in their tracks.

That's B-Y-R-N-A.
Burn up. Hope.
Can you feel it?
Because it is in the air.
If you can't yet, maybe you're just not close enough to the source of it yet.
Like a candle burning off in the distance.
That flame is still bright, up close.
The fire, you can still feel it right up close, but maybe as you can sense it, you can see it twinkling off in the dark.
Maybe if you just move closer, you can really, really experience it.
We have been moving closer and closer over the last year.
I got to tell you, I have experienced so many things in my own life, but also watching the miracles that are happening all around us on a daily basis in this country.
And what's coming.
What's possible.
not just here, but all around the world, it's opportunity.
It's possibility.
It's literally the difference between day and night.
Dark and light.
We stood at the crossroads in this country.
We stood and we contemplated.
We looked at both roads and one led to death and destruction and the loss of what's been so profoundly American, what's been so good in our lives, our way of life and our families.
Life itself, that existential threat that the left often talks about and accuses the right of being so much.
It really, I believe we were there.
We were on the precipice.
Somehow we pulled ourselves back from the edge.
We weren't alone.
We were divinely impacted.
You could feel on July 13th in that moment, that miracle that saved this nation and certainly saved President Trump, but you could feel the hand of God, not just on him, but I believe on our nation, because what we survived that day, what we avoided, something that I don't even want to think about, contemplate.
God Is Still On The Throne00:02:02
But the hope is the opportunity.
That means that there still remains work to be done, much of it over the next year or two, and much of it going to happen in the first 90 days of his presidency.
On my radio show daily, I tell people no matter what the headlines say, each and every day, I remind them that no matter what, that God is still on the throne.
That's the good news.
I don't know what's coming in this year ahead.
But what I do know is it's never been more true.
No matter what we face, God is still on the throne.
It's been an honor to be here with you, filling in for Glenn on Christmas Eve.
Each and every time I get to, it's one of the things that I am the most grateful for.
This audience is like no other.
It's an opportunity that I will never take for granted.
And it's one that I hope I can give you a chance to reflect and maybe think about those wonderful things that are on the way.
in the new year and beyond.
Let's stay in touch.
