And so are folks online with the story.

Folks, this is a big one.
We're going to talk about that and Greenland.
Well, we've heard the Greenland before.
We've heard that story, but he wants the Panama Canal back.
And this is, like I said, folks are already kind of losing it online about this.
The story is pretty, yeah, it's pretty good with the day.
I got to tell you, I'm excited about the prospect of the next four years and how people may, in fact, hear these stories and then just melt down.
I get a little bit of joy out of that.
I don't know.
We've had four years of chaos, insanity, the country being on the brink in just days now, a little less than 30 until we take it all back.
Well, this is very much so like the 51st state comment.
Now, I was asked, I was interviewed by a Canadian program about this story.
And does Trump really want to make Canada the 51st state?
And, you know, as you can imagine, it's a, yeah, it's a, it's an interest.
It's a story of interest for a lot of folks, and especially if you're Canadians.
Now, I mean, really, if you're conservative Canadians like these folks happen to be, I actually think a lot more Canadians are conservative.
Their government, I don't think, reflects them.
I think they're in a very similar boat as we've been over the last few years.
Anyway, it's Justin Barkley in for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck program and very much so needed Christmas break.
Glenn finally taking a little bit of rest.
He was at what's called AmericaFest, AmFest over the weekend, Charlie Kirk's outfit turning point, having this huge celebration in Arizona.
Lots of speakers, many you would definitely know the names for.
Many of them speaking and again, having, I think, just a massive party in celebration in some ways for the victory that took place in November, the miracle that took place in November.
Glenn spoke about that.
In fact, his comments making news as well.
Glenn has actually come out and endorsed some folks for some lofty positions.
A little bit later on, you'll get to hear what that sounds like and a bit of his comments from this weekend, President Trump as well, and some of the other big stories too.
But just a little bit about me.
I'm from Michigan.
I have a radio show in Grand Rapids in Detroit, and I absolutely love it.
It's an honor every time I get a chance to fill in for Glenn.
And I will just tell you, when I first started doing this, this time of year, it was, well, it was a little different.
Everything was a little quiet.
Silent Night really was.
This time of year, when people are the hustle and bustle, you're out doing your shopping or last-minute preparation, you're just with family, and you're, you've really kind of turned everything because the news cycle, everybody went home in Washington and everything just sort of shut down.
Now, to a certain extent, some of that still does happen.
But the stories, I don't know if you've noticed this too, but they continue to just spiral out of control.
And some of that, I might say, is by design.
In fact, Glenn talked about that this weekend.
I guess coming up in the program, we'll lay it out as he's done so already in a book, but it is a manufactured crisis.
I believe a lot of the things that we're continuing to see by design, either incompetence or it was done on purpose.
And I don't know which one's more evil, to be honest with you.
So we talk about that today.
Some of the stories that are just, I might just give you a couple and then we'll dig into some of these.
But yeah, Trump wants the Panama Canal back.
And he'd like to get Grayland.
People are melting down over these stories.
We've got the CR that passed the shutdown avoided.
We'll do that a little bit later on.
But over the weekend, there were a couple of big stories that made me sort of, I don't know about you, but I just look at what's going on in the world.
I go, I just can't, this is, I can't imagine.
So let me just give you some headlines.
First and foremost is the story out of New York City.
Heinous, evil.
I think the only way to describe what happened on that subway car in New York City over the weekend.
In fact, the headlines that are coming out and the way it's being covered may be the only thing that makes this even worse.
A woman was set on fire.
She was set on fire.
And by the way, this language is important.
It matters.
She was set on fire by a man here in the country illegally.
She slept quietly on the subway train.
And as she slept, he schemed.
We don't know the full specifics of whether she had lighter fluid thrown on her or something worse, but either a lighter or a match, something along those lines was tossed onto this woman as she slept.
And she woke up in flames.
What makes this even worse is the way it's been covered.
I don't know if you've seen the press on this, but it's very similar to the way that they have covered other stories in this story.
The press is writing this as though she's just essentially spontaneously combusted.
She just caught fire.
There's really no other explanation or reason for it.
Forget that another human being has thrown a match or lighter onto her.
Forget that that man should have never been here in the country.
You can't talk about the individual perpetrating the crime because then we have to talk about that individual, who they are, why they're here, and of course the politics of all of that, which they just don't want you touching.
Again, it's what the media is best at.
It is lying by omission.
And they do it all the time.
It is, in fact, a reason, mostly for their demise.
It's the reason why I think most people have tuned out.
CNN, MSDNC, the rest of them, they've stopped listening.
They've stopped watching.
They've stopped reading the newspapers.
These people are for hire.
They are hired guns.
They are prostitutes, many of them in the mainstream.
They're not interested in the facts.
They're not interested in the truth.
They're only interested in power.
And they are now starting to really reap all that they have sown here.
In fact, there's another story, and these headlines, as I mentioned, are just nuts.
But there's another story in Germany that's very similar to this.

Was it a car that did this?
Or was it the man behind the wheel, a car, that was responsible?
The multiple deaths, 80 plus injured.
The last report I saw this, two killed.
This is the Telegraph here reporting it.
Car.
Plowed into crowd.
There's a man behind the wheel.
Who is that man?
Well, police have arrested, buried deep in the article you'll find, a 50-year-old suspect who is a doctor from Saudi Arabia, lived in Germany since 2006.
And there's multiple reports about who he is and sort of conflicting about what actually happened.
But unfortunately, as I mentioned, the news never stops.
It's like drinking from a firehose.
These stories that you're hearing, part of a crisis or a number of crises that we're facing.
And are they being manufactured?
In fact, story after story, some of the worst, some of the weirdest, some of the wildest stuff that you've ever heard in the last days alone.
And it's enough over and over again, the drumbeat of this to desensitize you.
You know, some of the worst, most terrific stories.
Now, I saw this video, this woman.
And I'm telling you, it is tough to watch, but I just can't imagine the individual who does this.
He's seated on a bench inside that subway terminal as he watches her.
The woman who was on fire standing in the door of the subway train.
There were other onlookers, bystanders who didn't jump in, who didn't help.
Eventually, police show up, and I guess the fire's put out, but she didn't survive from what I understand.
I just horrific story.
It's absolutely evil.
There's no other way to describe this.
And we don't get here without a border being wide open.
We don't get here without Daniel Penny being arrested.
And of course, you know, Democrats, those on the left, the Soros DA, charging the man who stepped in, Daniel Penny at the time in New York City to help save folks on a subway train.
We don't get here if we don't make the innocent the victim the criminals and then the criminals the victims That's what we've seen a steady dose diet of that for the past four years and beyond And that's why things are the way that they are.
But there really is just one word to describe it.
It's evil.
But there's some good news, too.
And we'll talk about that because people are on to this.
In fact, I believe evil is in the last dying gasp right now as we march in the next 30 days or so until President Trump gets in office and is able to get things back on track.
The people have spoken and they're no longer willing to put up with any of this anymore.
So there are some good news stories that we'll cover today as well.

So he never was supposed to be here, and you never would have known if the New York Post hadn't dug into this.
You know, if the Biden administration would have gotten the old nod and a wink and Kamala Harris, I know this is hard to imagine, but can you picture Kamala Harris as the 47th president of the United States?
Supposedly, Biden's 46 right now, but we really don't know who is at the helm.
We have some idea on that, but can you imagine?
Well, you'd never hear about this.
They wanted to shut down as much of the free speech, as much of the press as they could.
Glenn talked about that in his speech from America Fest.
In fact, a little bit later on, you're going to hear the highlights from that speech over the weekend.
But here's the account.
I'm going to just run through what happened for you on that train, the subway train.
Police arresting a Guatemalan migrant to say a woman on fire.
He said a woman on fire who burned to death on the subway train in Brooklyn, New York that city, Sunday morning, 7.30 a.m.
Police say he was identified by a civilian as he rode on train at 34th Street in Manhattan, according to the New York Post.
The witness waved down the police, according to the report.
They later picked up the suspect, detained him, though they have not yet charged him with the crime.
Police say it happened at the Stillwell Avenue subway station in Coney Island.
The woman was sleeping on the stationary train, according to Fox.
Video posted online appears to show the woman engulfed by flames while standing in the train.
It is some of the most horrifying stuff.
And again, I don't necessarily recommend you go out and watch this.
I think this stuff takes a little piece of our soul every time we watch things like this, every time we're confronted with things like this.
People just walking by.
The guy who did this sitting on the street, on the bench, almost like he's sitting watching a bonfire.
Evil exists in the world, folks.
And the only way to confront it is courage, individuals who are willing to stand up.
But I don't necessarily blame some of these folks in New York who had no idea what to do.
I mean, you stand up, you fight back, you'll get the Daniel Penny treatment.
That's the world we were headed in.
That's the direction we were headed in.
Kamala Harris would have won.

I mentioned this at the top of the show, and every time I fill in now, it's like, you know, I tend to, they call me when it's time for Glenn to take a break and nobody else can do it.
And it's the holidays, and I loved it.
It's an honor to be here with this audience.
But it used to be, Jim, that we started doing this program.
We were talking about, oh, what were the biggest stories and trends of the year?
What was the word of the year?
You know, all of these kind of, you know, funny sort of fluff like end of the year sort of things.
But now we have hard news all the way up to 1159.59 on New Year's Eve.
I mean, every day there's something new and multiple things a day.
And as you mentioned, may you live in interesting times.
My question, though, is your book, and you made the point, manufactured crisis.
Are these interesting times by design?
Oh, yeah.
Oh, very much so.
Very much so.
I mean, there's the occasional accidental crisis that nobody could have anticipated.
Perhaps the Charlotte, perhaps the Hurricane Helene falls into that category.
But everything that this administration does every single day is just designed to create more chaos and make things difficult even now for the incoming president.
I mean, Biden just the other day decided, oh, well, I think I'm going to give Iran another $10 billion, another $10 billion.
Well, why would the Democrats want to give Iran anything, right?
But, no, they felt it was important to give Iran still more money so that they could continue apace with their development of the bomb.
And who on earth in their right mind would want to give that to the Iranian mullahs?
Nobody on our side, that's for sure.
And the ones that do it for the Democrats, I mean, the only way you can logically, the only conclusion you can logically draw is that these people are working for the other side.
I mean, that's the only logical conclusion.
There may be illogical conclusions to make, but that's the only logical one.
They are literally working for the other side.
And Joe Biden, of all people, has been doing that openly for his entire political career.

So, Jim, walk us through that.
What is this plan and how is it being played out right now as we speak?
Well, I mean, I think that this year's election is a good demonstration of how The crisis strategy that they have been following has become so obvious that people were finally motivated to do something about it.
I mean, you know, this stuff has been going on under the radar for decades, and I've written about it for decades.
But what has happened over the last four years is just something even the person with most determined head in the sand can't ignore because they're literally wrecking the country.
And the trouble is that that is the agenda that Karl Marx laid out in the Communist Manifesto written in 1848.
They've been following that agenda ever since.
They want to destroy what they call capitalism and the United States as the primary target.
And the trouble with that is, you know, they're killing the goose that laid the golden egg.
So there's really not a logical reason for this to do this, except that they believe that they will be able to seize absolute power and hold on to it.
And they frankly don't care what happens to the rest of us.
So, you know, it's interesting, Jim, you say communist, and I hear that word commie, and I think to myself, yeah, it's a bad word.
But the day, the same word, it doesn't have the same power or weight that it used to, a lot of that because of the indoctrination of young people.
And it's not just a word.
I just talked to you at the open of this segment here, and Luigi Mangioni is facing arraignment in New York City.
He's the man who killed in cold blood the CEO of United Healthcare.

You've probably heard this staggering statistic.
41% of young voters say United Healthcare CEO killing acceptable, according to a poll.
To me, and to watch the way the man's been celebrated on social media, this to me is a very, very chilling time.
I don't know if you can say enough.
While I certainly share, I'm sure with a lot of people, the concerns and the criticisms of this healthcare system, I realize why we're here.
A lot of this is because of Barack Obama.
Again, the manufactured crisis.
We'll talk a little bit more about that.
But the chilling situation that 41% of young voters saying that this is okay, that murdering somebody is okay.
Yeah, no, it is pretty discouraging.
But, you know, I will say honestly that in the 60s, in the early 70s, the culture of the 60s, the youth culture of the 60s, was not that much different.
And what we have today is the youth culture of the 60s has grown up and taken places in media, in business, in education, in Hollywood.
And they brought that, they portaged that thick culture along with them into the present and have indoctrinated our kids to follow that same thick logic.
And it's really just more of the same, frankly.
It's more of the same.
When I was a kid, you know, we weren't chanting in the streets, you know, deaf to Netanyahu, but we were chanting similar things in the street.
It really wasn't that different.
And once again, who were the leaders of that cultural revolution?
They were the red diaper babies, the communist children of 1950s communist parents who were able to get away with it because they rejected membership in the Communist Party, but did not at all reject the ideology.

But they are very malevolent distractants.
They're distractants.
You know, okay, so we put the ball under this cup and then move the cups around.
And then in the meantime, what are they doing behind the scenes while we're all focusing on the cups?
You know, that huge spending bill is a good example of that.
Because while we have all been just shocked and outraged by the stuff that Biden crew does every day, for example, selling off the portions of the border wall that they just left to sit and rust for four years, now they're selling off portions of it for $5 in a bidding in an auction,
starting at $5 per piece.
I mean, you know, this kind of stuff is just outrageous.
But then in the meantime, while we're all focused on that, they tried to pass this omnibus spending bill, which unfortunately, you know, has become the way they fund the government pretty much for about a decade now.
They've dispensed with the regular appropriations process, which is how it's supposed to work, where each of the spending bills for each of the various agencies and departments gets considered separately and it goes through both houses before a final spending bill is passed in Congress and sent to the president.
Jim, I hate to, but we're going to hit a hard break here, so I've got 30 seconds.

Well, we just essentially have to follow President Trump in everything that he's doing.
We have to get our state legislatures to pass the kind of laws that will allow this change to become more permanent.

They're starting to happen, but they need to happen throughout our country much more extensively and very quickly.

Several big stories in the news recently on this.
Hacking into our telecom, the routers that are a problem, the semiconductor industry with the investigation into some of those issues there, the concerns over the Chinese-made drones and one Chinese national trying to actually fly a drone over a military base, amongst others.
To talk about these programs and more, he oversees as chair of the committee, looking into all things, China.
Our good friend from the state of Michigan, our Congressman John Molinar, taking the time to be here with us today.
Congressman, thank you so much for taking the time to be here with us.
We appreciate it.
Well, thanks for having me, Justin.
Good to be with you.
So this is a story that we've been following, and I know you are really focused on.
In Michigan, it goes back to the Chinese Communist Party-linked battery plant, the Goshen plant up north in Maca County.
Folks have been fighting residents that issue, whether it's national security concerns, environmental issues, or just the fact that you don't like that the governor here took Michigan taxpayer money, gave it to the CCP, basically, and said, buy up our farmland.
All of these issues have really became, I think, hot and right smack dab in the middle of the radar for a lot of folks.
And you've been right in the focus and the fight on this for a while now, and I know you continue to do that.
Well, you know, Chinese firms own nearly 400,000 acres of U.S. farmland.
Our committee passed a bill to get out, get our agriculture secretary a seat at the table to ban these transactions.
And that's something I'm looking forward to the Trump administration working with us on as we go forward.
But you're right.
We need to cut off the taxpayer support for these Chinese-based companies that are affiliated with the Chinese Communist Party and partner with the Chinese military and sometimes choose slave labor.
And we need to wake up to this fact.
And the American people don't support giving our taxpayer dollars to fund the CCP.
You know, as we talk about the threat, and I don't think people really understand maybe fully what we're facing.
I'm going to read through a couple of headlines here and we'll see if we can maybe put them together.
We've seen the last week or so, really, this drone story come to a point here where folks are wondering, there's things flying in the air in New Jersey, and there are all kinds of questions about what they are.
And we hear drones.
And I don't know if you've got any light to shed on that subject.
You've been a part of any briefings or anything you could share with us.
Are they ours?
Are they theirs?
The question about they belong to little green men.
I'm not sure.
I think everything's on the table nowadays, unfortunately.
But let me just throw in along with this another, I think, troubling, maybe concerning headline as well.
This just came out.
The New York Post.
Drones spotted near at least 17 military bases located next to Chinese-owned land in the United States.
Very concerning.
And let's not forget that much of the danger that's posed by these CCP drones is occurring in the open right in front of our eyes.
The CCP-controlled Chinese drone manufacturer DJI dominates about 80% of the U.S. commercial market.
And these drones are used by hobbyists, by government agencies, and they pose a daily threat to our national security.
And this year in our National Defense Authorization Act that we just passed, we begin the process of phasing them out of American airspace.
So whether it's overt or covert, we need to end the CCP drone espionage on American soil.
You know, and again, this gives an advantage, I think, for the CCP in ways that people don't really think about and the real threat as to what that might be.
We're in a new age of warfare.
We may not necessarily see the same sort of bombs and tanks and everything that we're used to through the years.
A lot of it might be, well, it might be cyber warfare.
Matter of fact, here's Secretary Majorkis, not a man of large stature, but I trust him about as far as I can throw him.
I take this, though, seriously, when he says that the Chinese are a threat and they have been caught hacking.
China has, in fact, hacked into our telecommunications providers, some of them.
And the extent of it is quite serious.
And I should say that in response to that, we have taken action.
We in the federal government have stood up a unified coordination group, a multi-agency response to this hack.
Just today, our cybersecurity and infrastructure security agency published mobile communications best practices that everyone should read, especially people in positions of responsibility in the United States government.
It's a very sophisticated hack.
I can't speak publicly to how it occurred, but the telecom providers are focused intensely on it, and they are working in partnership with us to remediate it.
How long has this been going on?
Months?
It is not an overnight hack.
This is a very sophisticated one.
And it's still going on.
And it is still going on.
So that the troubling is it, look, this has been going on for a long time, number one.
Number two, it's ongoing, which means we still have issues with being told whether we can talk on this phone, text on that phone, or what we can and should be saying to each other.
And that's one thing.
But to know that they've also been engaged in trying to hack into the phones of people on the Trump campaign, that's a whole nother issue.
Now we're now down a completely different road.
These are major problems.
They sure are.
And this area of cybersecurity, what he's saying about best practices and focusing on cybersecurity is important.
But we also have to recognize that China is directed by the Chinese Communist Party.
They are very aggressive in targeting and hacking U.S. telecom systems.
And as you pointed out, at the highest levels of our government as well as the campaigns.
And we don't want them listening in on our phone calls and having access to our communications.
And we need to hit back.
Quite frankly, there need to be consequences for the CCP.
And that's where we need to take next steps.
You know, when it came to the spy balloon, you know, President Biden, you know, let it float across the country and then finally shot it down once it had been able to traverse the entire country.
We need to be aggressive and have consequences immediately for this kind of activity.
You just mentioned the Chinese spy balloon.
Are the drones Chinese?
That was one question.
And I don't know that you have any information specifically on this, but we saw that just the other day, House Foreign Affairs Committee Chair McCall went in on this, talking about those drones, and he said he believed they were maybe Chinese.
We want answers.
The response that I'm getting is that we don't know whose drones these are.
I was with the NASA administrator, Bill Nelson.
He said that these drones have been reported over military sites, military bases.
I would not think those are friendly.
I would think those are adversarial.
And in fact, NASA seems to be picking up more than our military is with respect to the drones.
So I think it's we're going to, Congress is going to pursue this.
I know the House Intelligence Committee is having a hearing on this.
We need to identify who is behind these drones.
My judgment, based on my experience, is that those that are over our military sites are adversarial and most likely are coming from the People's Republic of China.
So that itself is really fascinating to me.
There's a couple of things in here.
I'm blown away that we're told that we kind of don't know who they are, but we do know who they are.
That's the kind of multiple different lines we're hearing from different folks.
In fact, the White House Biden says, we kind of do, but we're told it's not a big deal.
This is the same guy.
To your point, you just made Congressman John Molinar with us right now.
They allowed that Chinese spy balloon to fly over the entire country.
Just leisurely let it fly over.
Then finally, when it wasn't over the country, they shot it down.
Finally, I don't know who we can trust.
And I'll tell you, I know I'm not the only one that is counting down the hours till the Trump administration takes hold and the adults are back in the room.
Yeah.
Well, you're absolutely right.
We need to get to the bottom of it and give the answers to the American people because, you know, we have seen drone activity near key military bases around the country.
In fact, there's a prosecution that's going on with a Chinese national at this time.
We don't know as I'm speaking to you right now whether this activity is directed by some kind of foreign power.
But as I said earlier, you know, DJI, the Chinese CCP-controlled drone manufacturer, dominates 80% of the U.S. commercial market.
So even if these drones are being flown, you know, by hobbyists or others, there may be Chinese capabilities in those drones.
And that's the concern that we have.
And we need to be vigilant in protecting our homeland.
And quite frankly, the American people deserve an explanation from the president and from the Homeland Security Advisor.
There's hardware and software concerns.
And Congressman John Mulliner with this.
In fact, I want to ask you about a couple of those because there's some talk about some bands out there.
In fact, one of the bands with TikTok, that issue headed to the Supreme Court here shortly.

He serves as the chair of the House Select Committee on the Strategic Competition between the U.S. and the CCP.
Congressman John Molinar with us today talking at China and those threats.
We were just talking about the drones and the issues, whether it's hardware or software.
We got multiple different angles to look at.
Congressman, I saw that there was a note.
Obviously, we're talking about TikTok and the bands there, but there's a note here that TP Link, which is a, I guess, a router, allows folks to get access to the internet broadband and things like that.
But it's one of these major companies, and they do a lot of smart sort of internet of everything type devices.
But this is a Chinese-made router, the TP-Link, that there is a concern, a consideration now on bands and technology, whether it's hardware or software.
What are you all looking at?
Well, we're doing a number of things.
We're looking at wherever China has infrastructure, technology infrastructure, whether it's Huawei technology or others that are in this sphere.
Often they're dual-use technologies and they are used for the purposes of espionage.
They're used for military applications.
And we need to lessen our dependence on these Chinese technologies.
You mentioned TikTok.
We have a process in place right now where President Trump has an opportunity to negotiate an American takeover of TikTok so that it wouldn't be affiliated with the Chinese Communist Party, but rather safeguard the data, the personal security of Americans, as well as not allowing people to be influenced by the CCP's algorithms within that app.
And so my hope is that we can continue on all these fronts, whether it's social media or hardware, that we protect the American people from nefarious Chinese Communist Party influences.
Now, it's kind of a tough line to walk.
There are some people that have First Amendment issues.
They have First Amendment considerations when it comes to some of these things.
But at the same time, we've got to make sure that we are making sure that we're doing everything that needs to be done to protect the country.
So it's a fine line to walk when it comes to these things.
Who would you like to see take over?
I mean, is there anybody out there?
Is it American company or is it Americans in general?
Elon Musk and Twitter and X has played a big role.
President Trump actually has spoken out quite favorably in TikTok in recent days because he feels like it helped him win the campaign, win the election.
Sure.
Well, it's a very successful and profitable app.
And I think there would be a number of buyers who would be interested in doing that and could do it in such a way that it didn't present national security threats.
And to me, ByteDance, who is the parent company that is affiliated with the Chinese Communist Party, in fact, the CCP actually appoints a board member to ByteDance.
And they have to come to the conclusion that they're going to follow American law and divest TikTok and sell TikTok.
And I think you'd find that there will be buyers in place.
We will be able to protect Americans' data.
And also that we won't be subjecting young people, teenagers, to the influences of the Chinese Communist Party.
TikTok does not allow in China the same kinds of activity that they allow in the United States.
And so it is a very, we want to have a reciprocal relationship with China so that we protect our interests.
At the same time, they're going to try and protect their interests.
Congressman John Mulliner with us right now on the hardware line.
And this is something that I've heard a lot about.
And I think it's a very, it's a tough one because if this is true, it means a lot that we're going to have to really take a closer look at.
And that's Chinese technology inside the infrastructure, power grids, things like that here in America.
How close are we looking at things along those lines?
We are looking very closely at this.
You know, there have been major hacks by, you know, CCP-affiliated entities, they called SALT Typhoon, Volt Typhoon.
And some of those hacks have involved, you know, major infrastructure.
And it's almost like having a sleeper cell where they can flip a switch and affect the infrastructure.
You know, you think of our water supply or our energy grid, some of these key areas that we depend upon.
And that's something we need to be very vigilant on.
One area that we uncovered as a committee was a Chinese firm that makes more than 70% of the cranes in our ports.
We found that there was a modem, a cellular modem on these cranes that could monitor the activities going in and out of ports.
That was not part of the requisition for those cranes.
That was added by this Chinese company, DPMC.
And they make 70% of the cranes in our ports.
So we need to be very vigilant with our infrastructure in order to protect against this threat from the Chinese Communist Party.

It really is.
It's the art of the deal.
And in fact, we've seen some of this up close and personal in real time in the last week or so.
So we've seen what?
Canada, the 51st state.
We saw that happen.
He's having dinner at Mar-a-Lago.
And, you know, you saw Prime Minister Justin Castro Trudeau fly down to kiss the ring.
Now, I didn't know this.
Well, this is kind of just interesting inside information.
Somebody told me that apparently he didn't stay at Mar-a-Lago.
Now, I don't know if that's because everything was booked there.
And obviously, it's a very busy time.
And you're thinking, well, maybe Trump's got a guest room or something.
No, no, no, he had to stay somewhere else, which is just kind of telling, I think, in itself.
A Canadian told me that, eh?
I heard that story and I thought, isn't that fascinating?
So he makes the joke, you know, Justin, things aren't so good right now in Canada, but it's okay.
You know, the terrorists and everything that they wanted to get done at 25%.
You take care of our border and, you know what?
I'll make you the 51st state and you could be the governor.
It's kind of a joke.
And he tells it and it goes over.
And he sees that play well.
And then that becomes a whole meme.
So much so, now to the point that Trudeau may have to step down as prime minister.
They've been talking about this in the last week or so in Canada.
Now, I don't know whether that happens or not, but the government is a bit, it's a bit in shambles right now.
It's a bit discombobulated.
These are things that are happening as we speak.
This is the Trump effect, and it's kind of already playing out.
See, Mexico want to come to the table and play ball now with border as well.
And you're seeing Putin say that he wants to wrap things up there in Ukraine.
We're seeing the Hamas and some of the other issues in the Middle East come to the table and say, we're done.
We want to wrap this up.
Which is interesting.
Again, the Trump effect.
But we caught it this weekend in real time with this Panama Canal thing.
I want you to hear this because you're going to actually hear in this clip from AmericaFest, Charlie Kirk and the Turning Point folks put this massive event on.
Glenn was there.
In fact, we got some of Glenn's speech coming up as well.
Fantastic stuff.
But President Trump spoke for a lengthy amount of time and some of the things he said making massive news.
In fact, this was where the Panama Canal thing came from.
As another example of the things we're doing and looking at, it's such a terrible thing that's happening.
The Panama Canal is considered a vital national asset for the United States of America due to its critical role, American economy, the whole world economy, and also national security.

Has anyone ever heard of the Panama Canal?
Because we're being ripped off at the Panama Canal like we're being ripped off everywhere else.
A secure.
He just said, take it back.
It's a good idea.
Do you hear this?
Listen to what he's doing.
He's probing the audience.
The Panama Canal, national security, the Panama Canal.
And of course, the economy.
And it's important for the world.
And now, do you know what the Panama Canal is?
It's a younger audience.
So he's trying to see the, do you know, does my audience understand what I'm talking about here?
How much further in-depth do I need to get into to talk about why it's so important?
And really, right now, what's happening in that area with China and what we face, the national security concerns and threats there.
So he's talking about, and then a member of the audience yells, take it back.
So if you don't know, we essentially gave the Panama Canal away for a dollar.
Jimmy Carter did this.
He'll talk about the history of it here in just a little bit, but it's really interesting to hear.
He said, one of the biggest mistakes he ever made, Jimmy Carter, another failed Democrat one-term president, speaking of which, listen to the guy yell, take it back.
Trump says I like that idea.
Lipped off everywhere else.
A secure.
He just said, take it back.
That's a good idea.
Where do you come from, sir?
He doesn't come from Panama.
Yeah, okay.
A secure Panama Canal is crucial for U.S. commerce and rapid deployment of the Navy.
See, he's going back and forth here between actually reading the prepared remarks versus riffing and just doing some improv.
From the Atlantic all the way to the Pacific, it's an incredible thing.
And drastically cut shipping times down to U.S. ports by days and even weeks.
The United States is the number one user of the Panama Canal with over 72% of all transits heading to or from U.S. ports.
Think of that.
So we built it.
We're the ones that use it.
They gave it away.
Considered one of the wonder, really one of the great wonders of the world.
The Panama Canal opened for business 110 years ago and was built at huge cost to the United States.
This is not the first time he's talked about it, by the way.
This idea that they would take it.
Now there's memes.
So you get this.
He's talking about it.
You get the Panama Canal memes start to float up to the surface, which is just kind of how the whole campaign went, by the way.
And as I said, I believe this is what you're going to see over the next year or four as this all starts.
You know, he's been talking about Panama.
You might say, well, he just, somebody like a squirrel pulled him off track and that's what happened.
No, no.
He's been thinking about this for a while now.
So here's one of the memes on truth.
He posts a picture of an American flag must be on some vessel.
Sunset there on the Panama Canal.
And he writes in the caption at the top of the post on truth, welcome to the United States Canal.
Whether he did that or a member of the digital team, whatever it might be, fascinating.
And in a funny way to, you know, what you're doing is you're hitting people, right?
Getting it into the consciousness.
This is, you are the media now.
This is all of that.
This is how people, by the way, memes, podcasts, shows like this.
This is how people actually consume this and get it.
It's not the mainstream anymore.
It's not newspapers and then cable television, all that stuff that It's completely, it's a completely different way that they do things now.
Here's Trump back on Tucker talking about this so you understand the history of it, the Panama Canal.
And you take a look at the Panama Canal.
It was such an incredible engineering marvel.
We sold it under Jimmy Carter.
We sold it to Panama for $1.
The following day, they quadrupled the amount of money the chips had to pay to get across.
They didn't lose one chip.
And now they've made it much bigger.
And now they've widened it.
They've doubled it, right?
They've more than doubled it.
And it's one of the most profitable things anytime.
It's just incredible, right?
You won't believe how upset he is about this.
I mean, this is nothing new.
And I'm telling you, this is something that you're going to see people melt down over.
But it's a perfect example, whether he does this or not.
I think we're watching as part of the art of the deal.
Getting these people back in line, making sure that we have all the resources available to us.
Maybe we take control back of the Panama Canal.
Maybe we do.
We'll see what ends up playing out here.
But I think what you're actually watching him is creating leverage or taking advantage of the leverage that we already had that we basically ceded, we gave away back in the Jimmy Carter days.
And really, more than anything, reestablishing our place on the world stage.
And this is part of making America great again.

Then somehow, I became the media.
Now, Trump won the White House in Congress.
We annexed Canada, bought Greenland and recaptured the Panama.
Oh, the memes.

The polar bear armies will be ours.
There's Trump riding with an American flag on the back of a polar bear.
Uh, Trump announces plans for United States to officially purchase Greenland and Cuba when he takes office.
Now these are memes again.
So you have to realize that these memes, though they can and do, have a way of sort of making their way into the zeitgeist and then somehow into reality.
And it's been wild.
A lot said over the last year or so.

When I was here, I told you there's a million ways this country can fall apart, and there is only one way it stays together, and that is a miracle from the Almighty God.
If we all do our part and stand where we're supposed to stand, and God will help us push it over the edge and do the things we cannot do, we'll win.
And God showed up, and so did you.
It was a miracle when, when Donald Trump went down on the ground, I I saw it within a minute of it being live, and I was with my family, and he went down and had no idea what was going on.
I thought immediately, if he's dead, we're in civil war.
For him to turn his head and only be nicked, if that's not God saying, you know what?
I think there is a new generation that's standing up and will fix this country the way it's supposed to be to serve people.
Now we are waiting.
Now we are here and he is waiting for us to do the rest of the work.
We have a lot of work in front of us.
But man, take a minute.
Doesn't it feel good to win?
If we would have won in 2020, this is the way God works.
It's so amazing.
I thought for sure we're done.
We're done.
There's a million ways to fall apart.
One that will hold us together.
We're done.
If we would have won in 2020, if Donald Trump would have been our president, he wouldn't have had the same mindset he has today.
He wouldn't have done all of the homework that he's done in the last four years.
He wouldn't have done all the vetting to get as many weasels out.
He wouldn't have had the long list, and believe me, he's checked it twice, of all the people that need to go.
We have a chance to reset this nation pre-Woodrow Wilson with Donald J. Trump.
I want you to know you have defeated the evil empire.
And it was just as hard as this.

This, defeating him in the movies, it is the same story, except I don't think Kamala has come out and said, I am your mother.

When I was your age, many of your ages, I was lucky enough, 1984, first president I ever could vote for was Ronald Reagan.
And Ronald Reagan, Ronald Reagan, saw the problem in the world that everybody had been messing with since World War II.
And he was the first one against all advice, against everyone, to say, I'm sorry, but that is an evil empire and we will defeat it.
Communism, he brought down the wall because he had the courage to speak the truth.
You, Donald Trump, have spoken the truth.
That was an evil empire they were building and it will come down now.
You know, when you look at the structure of everything that they were building, I honestly don't know, and a lot of my colleagues, people who do what I do, said the same thing before the election.

Nobody was watching because you'd see me go, let me tell you, and then the little wheel would spin for a while.

They're done.

However, nobody gives up that much power willingly.

You're not qualified to do anything in life.
So what are they going to do?
They are going to fight with everything that is in them.
This is a time of peace.
Right now, it seems like, whoa, dig this, we won, and there's no resistance.
Believe me, when you come home after the new year and you start seeing the lead up to him being sworn in office, things are going to start happening because they are serious.
It's the same thing that happened.
There's all these books, these were published in England in the 1500s and 1600s.
This is very, very rare.
There's only a few of these.
There's lots of these.
These are the books that were encouraged by the king to say, yes, witches are real.
And here's how you find them.
This one, almost every copy was burned by the crown because this one said, no, that's not true.
That's misinformation.
These aren't witches.
This is all about control of the individual.
The king didn't want this one.
He wanted everybody to read this.
That's the same evil empire that we have been living under for a while now, saying, no, no, this is the truth.

But they are going to continue to confuse and manipulate as much as possible.
If I'm on the other side and I needed to defeat us, I know exactly how I would do it.
I would confuse you and I would divide you.
I would make sure that I could get in, you know, the Declaration of Independence, the original first draft, which I brought last year in Thomas Jefferson's hand, is missing one word in the title.
And that word is unanimous.
The unanimous Declaration of Independence from Congress.
The original draft was not a net unanimous.
John Hancock knew everybody's got to raise their hand.
We have to vote on every line because if there's just a little space between us, any space, the king will see that light and he'll weasel his way in and he'll break us all apart and he'll divide us and then he'll hang every one of us.
So we have to look for the light that is between us.
We have to know who the good guys are, who the bad guys are, who's actually on the team.
And now that we have all of this popularity, suddenly Donald Trump is cool with everyone.
We have to make sure those who wear masks are not coming in and claiming to be part of this team and they have no intention of being on the team.

This is where we have been.
And I just want to show this quickly to you.
I'm going to do an episode on this later.
But yesterday I was flying here and this kind of came to mind.
This has been a top, this has been a timeline, if you will, of anarchy and totalitarianism.
And I've gone over it several times.
The United States, when we were founded, we were trying to get away from total control, an anarchy through a king, despot.
What we wanted was freedom.
We wanted to be ourselves.
We wanted to explore our own journey.
We didn't want to have to jump through hoops and unions and everything else.
We didn't want somebody above us to say, I'm sorry, you're not born of the right parents.
You can't do that.
We wanted freedom and we wanted total freedom, but total freedom, when there is no authority, it goes into anarchy.
So total control and anarchy.
When we first won, we did the Articles of Confederation.
Most people don't know this.
George Washington was technically not our first president, our first president.
I don't even remember his name, but he didn't last long because it was under the Articles of Confederation and he wasn't a real president like we understand now.
That was too weak and the states were still fighting amongst themselves.
We couldn't get trade done.
We couldn't get anything done.
And they knew it.
And so at night, they got together again and said, we have to come up with something new.
And that something ended up being our Constitution in 1789 and in 91, just for the stupid people that they knew would become politicians, they said, let's clarify a few things and put them under the Bill of Rights.
I'm convinced everything after the first 10 amendments to the Bill of Rights, the first 10 are there in the Bill of Rights.
Everything else, almost without exception, is, and I think it's the liberty lovers that had to say to the then Democrats, good Lord guys, no, when we say all men are created equal, that does mean black people too.
The next amendment, no, when we said that means black people too, that means they can also vote just like you.
I mean, it is just an excoriation of stupid politicians after the top 10.
But Jackson and Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson, who destroyed us, thank you.
I love anyone who hates Wilson as much as me.
They kept moving us, slowly but surely moving us towards total control.
And by the time we got to Joe Biden, we were right here.
We were within arm's reach of total control.
So, luckily, people woke up.
But it was hard to defeat because we had against us the mainstream media, the Democrat progressives, the rhinos, Republican progressives, the unions, all the Soroses out there, the NGOs, the Marxists, the anarchists that are actually communists.
I love those guys.
How confusing is that?
Then the corporations.
We also had on the right, sorry, on the left voting and pushing their control with the Democrats in a different understanding.
People like Elon Musk and Tulsi and RFK.
They were all on that other side.
And then COVID began to wake them up and they were like, oh, dear God, they actually don't believe those top 10 things in the Bill of Rights.
I think I'm with the wrong crowd.
And they slowly started to peel off from there.
And now we have Donald Trump.
And Donald Trump is trying to take us here.
Donald Trump, if he can do the things that he is claiming he can do, and I believe he can, if we stay together and with him, he's going to undo everything Theodore Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson, and FDRO and Johnson, Barack Obama, and Joe Biden did.
He will reverse this, and we will be close to true freedom again.
The freedom that only Americans truly understand.
But here's our job.
Our job is to make sure, because they all, I don't know if you've noticed this, a lot of people now are saying, I'm with Donald Trump.
Are you really?
There are those that were over there, like The View.
Those ladies will go down with a ship in flames.
Liz Cheney.
Yeah.
Some unions, the Marxists, the communists that are also anarchists, some NGOs, they're with the old regime.
They're with the dark empire.
Some of them have come down here.
For instance, Morning Joe, the mainstream media.
Morning Joe is like, you know what?
I know I called him Hitler 40 times a day for the last 16 years, but I think he's a really good guy.

But he's now on the bandwagon.
They're now like, oh, we like Trump.

You know, that the battle's been won here, but the war is far from over.
And that's the point Glenn makes in this speech, wrapping things up.
Yeah, let me tell you now what we have to do to stay together.
We just have to recognize what our values and principles are.
And last year, I asked if you would read the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and the Bill of Rights because the Declaration of Independence is our mission statement.
That's what we're trying to build.
And there's no more glorious mission statement than that one.
Let me give you something this year that will make it easier for you.
Does anybody recognize what this is?
Why don't you all stand up for just a second?
Just stand up, take your hat off for just a second, and say this with me.
You ready?
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands.
One nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
Right?
Let me translate that for you.
Let me translate that for you into something that shows you what you're actually saying because we say that all the time and the words become almost meaningless.
So let me show you.
I, I, me, I pledge, solemnly promise, pledge allegiance, which is loyalty, to the flag, a symbol of our country, and to the republic.
What is a republic?
A state in which supreme power rests with the people and the people have a right to vote for which it stands, remains firm and steadfast.
And to let's see, I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands.
One nation, a people of a land, any land, a people collected in any land that are aware of their unity.
You can't have a country unless you're aware of our unity and what brings us together.
That's what we have forgotten.
God, a creator, indivisible, incapable of being divided, incapable of being divided.
Liberty and justice for all, free from despotic rule, with equal and just laws for not just me, but all.
This is what we pledge.
It's not about the flag.
If you want to find out, is somebody truly on our side you look for these things.
You look for someone who is truly taking a solemn promise to stand with loyalty to a republic, a state which its supreme power rests with all of us, not just me, but you and you and you, all of us.
We will remain firm and steadfast to defend these things.
We believe in a creator.
If you don't believe in a creator, I don't know how you can truly understand America because we are different.
We're different than the rest of the world.
We were created by a God that gave us these rights with this republic protects.
So you have to have a creator.
And understand that when you have all of these, because if we're in a land where everyone is aware of our unity, we're united on these rights, we are incapable of being divided from Despots, from totalitarianism, from all of the things that we stood up against,
we will win and continue to move the ball forward if we look at who we're standing next to, who's now claiming, Yaw, yaw, I've been with you the whole time now.
I don't think so.
Do they take these things seriously?
Do they, that's why we were here.
That's why this cup, made of wood, traveled on the Mayflower with our pilgrims.
This is why they came to serve God.
And to best serve God, you serve your fellow man.
Blessed be the peacemakers.
That doesn't mean your life is going to be full of peace.
Jesus didn't have a lot of peace in his time.
They executed him.
But he stood as a peacemaker.
Peacemakers stand at a time when there is no peace and speak the truth so others may have peace, so their children and grandchildren can have peace.
Because I want you to know that we live in an incredible country with incredible things just ahead of us.
We have now, with this election, turned the page to an entirely new chapter.
We're like halfway through the book.
And instead of putting the end, we just said part two.
But you get to write what this nation does.
That's an incredible opportunity and an incredible responsibility.
But remember, all you have to do, all you have to do is believe, truly believe, not in magic, but in the Republic and the things which she stands for.
You have to believe in the best of one another.
You have to stand together to make sure evil does not creep in.
But when you believe you have the power, we have had the power the whole time.

It's not quite as easy as clicking your heels together, but almost.

There are people that are saying this is a good thing.
If we lived in a cartoon world, it might be.
If we lived in the former Soviet Union, maybe.
But we don't.
What the people on the left that are supporting the killer are actually saying is: we need Batman.

What's not really, I guess, a surprise, but the migrant, the one from Guatemala, that set that woman on fire, burned her alive on the subway train, found out he was deported under the Trump administration, somehow found his way back in under Biden.
We're also finding out Biden's commutations were, well, a lot of some child killers.
Just a lot of people in that list that are going to be talked about on the days ahead.
But I wanted to make sure that we ended on some good news today.
