	As a Canadian rapper, a singer, and songwriter, he received initial recognition.

	The guy's very talented.
	He directs all his own music videos, by the way, guys, and edits them.
	He received initial recognition from the mixtape Conflicts of My Soul, the 416 story, released in August 2013.
	In 2015, Tory Lane signed to record producer Benny Belanco's Mad Love Records through Interscope.
	Lane's debut studio album, I Told You, in 2016, included the singles Say It and Love, which peaked at number 23 and 19 on the Billboard Hot 100, respectively, in 2018.
	Lane's released his second and third studio album's Memories Don't Lie and Love Me Now.
	His fourth studio album, Chick's Tape, peaked at number two on the U.S. Billboard 200, which, by the way, guys, if you hit the top of the Billboard, man, that means you're somebody.
