House Republicans Make $20 Million Bombshell Allegation

Good evening, and right before we dive in, I'd like to quickly mention that the Epoch Times is having an awesome sale on subscriptions.

jumping into today's main topic, just yesterday, House Republicans released a new set of bank records which showed that Joe Biden's son, Joe Biden's family members, and As well as their close associates were paid more than $20 million by Russians, Ukrainians, as well as other foreign nationals while Joe Biden was serving as vice president.
Now, if you have been paying attention to this whole saga over the past year now, then you're aware that these records are just the latest batch that were released by the House Oversight Committee, who is currently in the process of probing the Biden family.
The committee has, thus far, subpoenaed six different banks, and they've received thousands of records, including these new ones here.
And the records show that the Biden family, as well as their close associates, they've created more than 20 different companies, many of them being created while Joe Biden was serving as the vice president between the years 2009 and 2017.
And according to Congressman James Comer, who is the current chairman of the House Oversight Committee, the way that these payments were distributed to various different bank accounts Now, previously, the bank records which were released before showed large payments coming into the Biden family, including to Joe Biden's brother from Chinese and Romanian nationals.
However, this new batch of bank records, it shows nationals from other countries.
Specifically, you can see some of the bank records up on your screen, and they are extensive, showing Russian, Ukrainian, and Kazakh nationals being among the large list of people paying both Joe Biden's family and their close associates.
And as an example of these payments, you had Ms.
Yelena Baturina, who is the billionaire widow of the former mayor of Moscow.
She paid a cool $3.5 million to a company called Rosemont Seneca Thornton, with about a third of that money going to Hunter Biden's associate, Mr.
Devin Archer.
In the weeks before she dined with Joe Biden at a swanky Washington, D.C. restaurant in April 2014, Russian oligarch Yelena Budirina deposited $3.5 million into a bank account tied to Hunter Biden's businesses and also committed to invest in a New York City real estate project with Biden's partners.
Then there was another $2.75 million payment from Ms.
Buterina, which went into an account called Rosemont Seneca Bohai, which, free reference, was opened just one day prior to receiving that payment.
And interestingly, Mr.
Devin Archer, when he testified before Congress, he said that himself and Hunter Biden both co-owned that particular account, which the billionaire widow of the former mayor of Moscow was sending millions to.
Furthermore, in a strange cosmic coincidence, Ms.
Butarina was among the people present at the dinner over in Washington, D.C. that was attended by Mr.
Joe Biden himself.
Then, another guest at that particular dinner, at least according to Mr.
Devin Archer, was, quote, Ex-Kazakhstan Prime Minister Karim Masimov.
Mr.
Masimov was sentenced to prison time this year for allegedly participating in an attempted coup in his home country.
An associate of Mr.
Masimov's, who met with Mr.
Hunter Biden, paid Mr.
Hunter Biden the exact amount That was sent to a car dealership in New Jersey for a sports car for Mr.
Hunter Biden, according to the records and Mr.
Devin Archer.
And so that is just an amazing coincidence.
You have this nice dinner in Washington, D.C. with the vice president that Hunter Biden is seemingly inviting all these former Soviet bloc power players to.
The billionaire widow of the mayor of Moscow pays Hunter Biden's bank account millions of dollars right around the time of the dinner.
The former prime minister of Kazakhstan, he also attends that dinner.
And wouldn't you know it, an associate of the prime minister, who happens to be an oligarch himself, sends Hunter Biden the exact same dollar amount that was later sent the next day to a New Jersey car dealership in order to buy a sports car for Mr. Hunter Biden.
And the specific details surrounding the sports car incident are almost comical.
Quote, Kazajstani oligarch Kenes Rakashev wired a Hunter Biden connected entity, $142,300 on April 21st, 2014.
The following day, the same amount was wired to a New Jersey car dealership to pay for an expensive Porsche sports car for Hunter Biden in an almost comical exchange.
A representative from the car dealership alerted Hunter Biden's assistance that the DC DMV denied the lease for the vehicle, explaining that the reason is the business appears to be based in Delaware, temporarily thwarting attempts to classify the Porsche as a company car in Washington, D.C. This Kazakhstani oligarch later attended the same dinner meeting with Yelena Butarina that spring, meeting then-Vice President Joe Biden.
The coincidences just keep rolling in.
Now, besides all these dinners, Devin Archer also testified to Congress that Hunter placed Joe Biden on speakerphone at least 20 times during various business meetings and that Hunter, in exchange for these payments, delivered the Biden family brand.
Here is, in fact, Congressman James Comer, who is again the current chairman of the House Oversight Committee, laying out exactly how the situation played out after listening to Devin Archer's closed-door testimony.
During Joe Biden's vice presidency, Hunter Biden sold him as the quote-unquote brand to reap millions from oligarchs in Kazakhstan, Russia, and Ukraine.
It appears no real services were provided other than access to the Biden network, including Joe Biden himself.
And Hunter Biden seems to have delivered.
Now, we here at the Epoch Times, we did reach out to both a lawyer who's represented Joe Biden, as well as another lawyer representing Hunter Biden in his criminal case, but neither set of lawyers have gotten back to us thus far.
However, it seems like the situation publicly for Hunter Biden just went from bad to even worse.
That's because, outside of all these bank records showing all this money coming in from these former Soviet country power players, well, there was a new batch of court documents that revealed another possible source of money for Mr.
Hunter, China, as well as Chinese Communist Party-affiliated entities.
Specifically, these new details came in the form of court records from Hunter Biden's plea deal with the Department of Justice.
Now, during a hearing on his plea deal, Hunter admitted to receiving money from a Chinese energy company called CEFC. Then, as you can see up on your screen, exhibit number one of Hunter's plea agreement, the prosecutors actually went into much greater detail regarding these different transactions between Hunter, Chinese companies, and Chinese communist affiliates.
Quote, Income received from such sources is listed as at least $2.6 million in all.
However, the total is likely substantially higher due to the combined way some of his income was listed in the document.
Mr.
Hunter Biden's total income from foreign companies between 2017 and 2018 is confirmed by the Swarm Statement to have totaled roughly $4.9 million in addition to $1 million in legal services for a CCP-affiliated Chinese national.
Then, digging a little bit further into the weeds, the report detailed how, quote, Hunter Biden in 2017 received just under $1 million from a company he formed with the CEO of a Chinese business conglomerate.
The income flowed to Hudson West, a company Hunter Biden founded with Chinese businessman Ye Jianming in 2017.
That income came from CEFC China Energy Co., an energy company founded by Mr. Yehudan.
Ye, for which Hunter Biden provided consultation and legal assistance.
Mr.
Ye and his company reportedly have close ties with the Chinese Communist regime and the People's Liberation Army.
Now, specifically in regards to those close ties, there was a 2020 Senate report wherein you had Senator Chuck Grassley writing this, quote, CEFC is an extension of the Chinese government that intended to alter U.S. policy and public opinion to its benefit.
The goal of CEFC was to expand cooperation in the international energy economy and contribute to the national development of China.
The Chinese government would be the principal beneficiary of those actions.
Then going back to these court filings in Hunter's case, they show that in the year 2017, Hunter Biden also received $664,000 from a quote unquote Chinese infrastructure investment company.
And even though these particular court documents don't name that company, if we cross-reference this 2020 Senate report...
Then this Chinese company is very likely CEFC Infrastructure Investment LLC, which was a subsidiary of CEFC Energy, the company that was already paying Hunter.
If we go back to this plea agreement, it also shows that in the year 2018, Hunter Biden also received $1 million in legal fees from Patrick Ho, a former CCP government official who worked with CEFC. Mr.
Ho was sentenced to three years in U.S. federal prison for crimes related to his activities at CEFC in 2019.
And what's really notable about this particular payment is that it took place in the year 2018, when Joe Biden was already out of office.
At this point, he was no longer vice president, although he was low-key positioning himself to run for president.
That's when this money was coming in.
And that might have only been the tip of the iceberg.
Because it appears that after Joe Biden left the vice presidency in the year 2017 and set up the Biden-Penn Center, well, the amount of Chinese foreign donations skyrocketed to unimaginable levels over at the University of Pennsylvania.
Here's, in fact, a short clip from a congressional hearing wherein you had Congressman Jim Banks laying out the staggering amount of money that began flowing to the University of Pennsylvania after the Penn-Biden Center was established after Joe Biden left the vice presidency.
And just for reference, I sped off the clip a little bit so we can get through it faster.
When President Biden opened the Penn Biden Center think tank at the University of Pennsylvania in 2017, Chinese gifts to UPenn spiked.
Chinese donors gave one hundred and five million dollars from mid 2018 to mid 2022, which is nearly double the known previous donations.
The current secretary of state, Anthony Blinken, served as the center's director.
Many of its former employees now work in the White House.
And then Vice President Biden illegally stored classified documents in his office at the center.
The sheer amount of Chinese donations to the Penn Biden Center was not, that wasn't normal.
It was extraordinary.
What did you make of it?
I can only speculate, but our job, frankly, at the Department of Education was to ensure that policymakers, congressmen and women, And the American people could see for themselves all that money going to UPenn from China and other universities to access our technology and perhaps to influence future policy makers.
We're talking about well over $100 million just to this one think tank center.
That obviously had deep connections to the Biden family and now to the Biden administration.
You talk about you can only speculate, but what would the Chinese donors get out of that type of access?
I think that's a very fair question, Congressman.
If I might also point out, I think the Biden Center has stated, or UPenn has stated repeatedly, that they never solicited funds anywhere for the Biden Center.
And instead those funds came in, all their solicitations, and they actually had international fundraising operations.
The two were by current ambassador to Germany, Gutmann, to collect contributions, foreign contributions.
But all those funds went into the general operating fund for UPenn.
They didn't go to the Biden Center.
And so those funds were commingled.
And certainly went to the general operations and may have gone to the Biden Center.
And that's something that I think is worthy of...
I only got a minute left, but you were aware of it.
You admit that it was abnormal.
You said that Chinese donations were flowing to other universities, too.
They were reported because of the strict Trump administration guidelines.
But can you think of anything else, any other think tank or university that received a comparable amount of Chinese donations to the Penn Biden Center?
Not in that time frame.
Absolutely not.
I'm unaware of them.
The public could investigate on the portal to see if it occurred.
I'm not aware of it occurring.
Really, it's wild.
I mean, you couldn't make it up.
Now he's the president.
Blinken is the secretary of state.
And they had these deep relationships.
That is, if nothing else, short of amazing.
Now for his part, I will mention that to this very day, Joe Biden denies any wrongdoing in regards to the selling of the Biden brand over the past two decades.
For instance, just yesterday, Fox News' Peter Doocy, he was able to ask Joe Biden himself about these latest developments.
And, well, here was the answer he got.
There's this testimony now where one of your son's former business associates is claiming that you were on speakerphone a lot with them, talking business.
I've never talked business in any way.
And I knew you'd have a lousy question.
Why is that a lousy question?
Because it's not true.
Thank you, Mr.
And so the investigation continues.
