"They Lied To Us All": New January 6 Footage, Kangaroo Court Cover-Up, Blackout on Police Firebomb

Now, you probably already know that two days ago, Tucker Carlson, on his show over on Fox, showed several never-before-seen pieces of video surveillance footage that were captured at the U.S. Capitol on January 6th.
This, of course, then led the legacy news outlets in our country to have somewhat of a conniption, and they began to, once again, double down and push their narrative of January 6th around the clock.
Meaning that the current news cycle has been focusing almost all of its attention on what happened at the U.S. Capitol two years ago, while at the same time ignoring almost everything else.
Such as, for instance, the fact that just two days ago, about 200 left-wing extremists quite literally firebombed a police training facility over in Georgia in a form of domestic terrorism.
However, let me back up for a quick moment and set the stage for you properly so the context of how this all came to be becomes crystal clear.
And I hope that if you appreciate content like this, you do take a quick moment to smash those like and subscribe buttons so the YouTube algorithm will be quite literally forced to share this video out to ever more people.
Now, to start with, you might remember how two months ago, during the fight in the U.S. House over who was going to be Speaker, Kevin McCarthy made several concessions in order to eventually secure his position as the Speaker of the House.
And even though this wasn't on the official list of concessions, shortly after he became Speaker, Kevin McCarthy handed over about 41,000 hours worth of surveillance footage that came out of the Capitol on January 6th of 2021.
And he handed this footage exclusively to Tucker Carlson and his team.
Then, after Tucker's producers spent several weeks combing through that footage, Tucker aired a segment on his program, which showed several never-before-seen camera angles, which really did call into question the official mainstream media characterization of several different people, including, of course, the infamous shaman with the fur hat, whose real name, by the way, is Mr.
Jacob Chansley.
He is, just free reference, currently serving a 41-month-long prison sentence.
However, I imagine that his lawyers are right now chomping at the bit in order to appeal his case as quickly as possible.
That's because the footage that Tucker presented on his program, footage, by the way, that the government never gave to Jacob's lawyers, it shows the shaman being essentially escorted through the hallways by the Capitol Police themselves, who then opened the doors to the Senate chamber so that he can go in and take those infamous photos who then opened the doors to the Senate chamber so that he can go in and take those infamous photos that were then plastered all over every single Here's a short excerpt from the Tucker Carlson expose that aired again just two short days ago.
Dangerous conspiracy theorist dressed in outlandish costume who led the violent insurrection to overthrow American democracy.
For these crimes, Chansley was sentenced to nearly four years in prison, far more time than many violent criminals now receive.
What did Jacob Chansley do to receive this punishment?
To this day, there is dispute over how Chansley got into the Capitol building.
But according to our review of the internal surveillance video, it is very clear what happened once he got inside.
Virtually every moment of his time inside the Capitol was caught on tape.
The tapes show that Capitol Police never stopped Jacob Chansley.
They helped him.
They acted as his tour guides.
Here's video of Chansley in the Senate chamber.
Capitol Police officers take him to multiple entrances and even try to open locked doors for him.
We counted at least nine officers who were within touching distance of unarmed Jacob Chansley.
Not one of them even tried to slow him down.
Chansley understood that Capitol Police were his allies.
Video shows him giving thanks for them in a prayer on the floor of the Senate.
Watch.
Now imagine for a quick moment that you are Mr. J.
Jacob Chansley.
You were recently sentenced to a 41-month prison sentence, which is about four years behind bars.
And during your trial, you were not given access to this exculpatory evidence.
You might have told the jury during the trial that, hey, the police officers just let me walk around, and they even opened the door for me so I can walk in.
But since the judge refused the footage from being shown, What jury would actually believe you?
And indeed, soon after Tucker Carlson began to show these videos to the public on his primetime show, more and more of these January 6th prisoners, who are still awaiting trial, are now asking the court to delay their trial so that their lawyers can review this new treasure trove of surveillance footage.
As an example, the lawyer for Mr.
Mr. Shane Jenkins, who is currently awaiting trial for physical violence in the capital as well as disorderly conduct, he wrote this in a motion to the court: "Mr. Jenkins requests that his trial, currently set to begin on March 21, 2023, be moved, so defense counsel can review the additional discovery.
Video evidence depicting Mr. Jenkins would constitute both exculpatory and material evidence which would require disclosure from the government, due to the large amount of video being released, and because Mr. Jenkins is not being released, Jenkins is currently incarcerated, we request additional time to review the information and prepare for trial.
Now, there are two things that are really worth highlighting here.
The first is to really take in the fact that over two years after January 6, there are still people being held in pretrial detention.
Really think about that.
These people have been sitting in jail for over two years just awaiting a trial.
And the second point is that up until now, the government has been refusing to hand over this surveillance footage to these people's lawyers, even though that footage might contain exculpatory evidence, just like what we saw with the shaman with the fur hat.
However, the current Republican leadership of the House has indeed decided to not only hand the footage over to Tucker Carlson, but they are also granting access to the security footage of To any January 6th defendants for the purposes of their own defense in trial.
But the government prosecutors in these particular cases, they're still fighting them tooth and nail.
For instance, Mr.
William Pope, who's facing charges related to civil disorder related to his actions on January 6th, he wrote this in a separate court filing.
We lack access to more than 99% of discovery, even though more than two years have elapsed since Mr.
Pope was arrested.
Prosecutors have opposed making much of the footage available because the legislative branch was the original owner of the evidence.
However, now that the legislative branch has given defendants their blessing to have due process access to the legislative files, the government's already weak argument to deny due process has collapsed.
This court should immediately grant me full access to discovery.
If the government continues to deny access to discovery necessary for his defense, the case should be dismissed.
Now, as you likely would have guessed, shortly after the first batch of footage was released to the public, the legacy news outlets, most Democrat politicians, as well as, oddly enough, Mitch McConnell himself, began to attack both Tucker Carlson as well as the current House leadership for deciding to release the footage.
Here's, for instance, a short exchange between Mr.
Kevin McCarthy, the current Speaker of the House, and a reporter.
Because of the footage that you gave Tucker Carlson, last night he went on and said this was a mostly peaceful chaos, as he said.
He downplayed Brian Sicknick's death, said it was not related to January 6th, said this was not an insurrection.
Do you regret giving him this footage so he could whitewash the events of that day?
No.
I said at the very beginning, transparency.
And so what I wanted to produce for everybody is exactly what I said, that people could actually look at it and see what's gone on that day.
But why, Mr.
Speaker?
Do you believe this portrayal of what happened that day?
Look, each person come up with their own conclusion, but what I just wanted to make sure is I had transparency.
Alright, just to pause here for a super quick moment, I wanted to mention that the sponsor for today's episode is a super cool company called Secure.
And they're a cool company for people that actually care about their privacy.
Because listen, if you don't think that these giant tech and glomerates and all these different alphabet agencies within the US government are spying on your messages, well, then frankly, you are not paying enough attention to the news.
However, all that can be in the past because with Secure, they have awesome proprietary technology that has all your messages and all your emails actually go through Switzerland as they're making their way back and forth between you and your recipient.
And so let's say you're here in America and the person you're messaging is over in Canada, Mexico, or anywhere else in the world.
Well, it doesn't matter because all your messages are actually going through Switzerland Back and forth from one to another, meaning that they are not subject to the Cloud Act, and they are only subject to Swiss laws, which are some of the safest in the entire world.
Their technology is awesome, it's proprietary, and they're a company that actually cares about your freedom.
They care about getting the facts out, which is why they sponsor a company like ours, and best of all, they are offering a 25% off deal for our viewers, for the viewers of Facts Matter.
So head on over to secure.com and use promo code Roman to get 25% off.
And the rates are not even that expensive to start with.
It's only $5 for the messenger and $10 for the email and messenger combo.
And they even offer a seven day free trial.
So again, head on over to secure.com, use promo code Roman, save some money and support an awesome sponsor.
Now I will mention just one thing in passing, since Kevin McCarthy brought up the issue of transparency in his response.
In regards to transparency, it does seem to make sense to hand over these videotapes to a news organization so that they can comb through them and report their findings to the American people.
The American people...
Now have to go from listening to the narrative that's propagated by the January 6th committee to now only listening to the narrative that's being propagated by Tucker Carlson and his team.
Which might be better than nothing because at least that way we can compare the two sides and hope to get a more complete picture of what happened on that day.
But in terms of real transparency, it would be great if we could just have an honest, non-propagandized account of that day.
It would be great if the video footage were released and we could all see it for ourselves.
The American people can get a real accounting of that day.
Because I don't know about you, but me myself, I'm just interested in the whole truth, not just in the 5-10 minutes of footage that Tucker and his team will ultimately decide to release to the public.
But sometimes we have to take what we can get.
In fact, just reporting on this subject alone is not an easy thing to do.
As an example, if you happen to be watching this episode on YouTube, I'm almost 100% sure that below the video there's a box telling you what the official narrative on January 6th truly is, and what you should be believing.
And so even a speck of transparency is, in my opinion, better than nothing.
However, there's something else worth mentioning here, which ties neatly into how the media's selective reporting shapes what people believe is really happening in this country right now.
Because while these new pieces of footage are reinvigorating the discussion about what happened two years ago at the U.S. Capitol, Almost none of the large media outlets are covering the fact that just two days ago, there was a massive attack against the police that was carried out by Antifa extremists.
Think about that.
Two years later, January 6th is still getting around-the-clock coverage, while at the same time, you have footage from just two days ago showing about 200 far-left extremists who are part of an Antifa affinity group carrying out a firebombing ambush attack on a police training facility over in Atlanta, Georgia.
And the aerial footage is quite stark, looking like something out of The Walking Dead, which is the sheer volume of people who are involved in the attack.
And then, when you look at the ground footage, well, that looks even more dramatic, as police officers try to hold their ground against nearly 200 people who are torching their police training facility.
Basically, the backstory here is that last January, right there in that same site, Georgia police exchanged gunfire with an Antifa-affiliated group.
Then a few days later...
That same Antifa-affiliated group, they caused havoc in downtown Atlanta, breaking windows and even burning police cruisers.
And then now, you fast forward to two days ago, and under the pretense of a mostly peaceful protest, which by the way they organized partly on Twitter, these rioters came in and destroyed the construction equipment that was being used to build the police training facility right there in Georgia.
Now fortunately there weren't any serious injuries or fatalities in this latest attack, And eventually, these rioters were subdued by the police.
The whole incident resulted in the arrest of 23 people who were now being charged with domestic terrorism.
And among those people who were arrested were several people from outside of the United States, specifically from the countries of France and Canada, as well as, interestingly, a lawyer with the Southern Poverty Law Center.
That is, if nothing else, ironic.
But again, I would urge you to ignore that footage from Georgia and just continue to focus exclusively on January the 6th, because right now that's all that matters.
If you'd like to go deeper into what we discussed today, including this domestic terrorism that just took place over in Georgia, I'll throw all those links down into the description box below this video so you can check it out for yourself.
And also, I should mention that while these new videos from Tucker's program are getting a lot of play, we here at the Epoch Times have been breaking these January 6th-related stories that poke holes in the official narrative for the past two years now.
And if you haven't already, I would highly recommend that you take a look at the documentary that we released just a few months ago called The Real Story of January 6th.
I'll throw a link to it.
It'll be right there at the top of the description box.
I hope you check it out.
And then, until next time, I'm your host, Roman from the Epoch Times.
